An: I apologize for taking so long on this, dearies. Life has been a bitch lately. The good news is that I'll have much more time for writing now! Of course, as always, Read, review, Recommend! This chapters going to reveal something that I've been hinting at since Raven came back!

Ch 5: And there's nothing left.

Raven let out a screech of surprise as Iggy leaped at her from a darkened hallway. His eyes were bright and his swords sharp. He slashed at Raven, who barely managed to dodge.

"IGGY.I DON'T HAVE MY SWORDS!" She yelled at him, now in a panic.

Iggy chuckled darkly.

"Best hurry and get them then before I slice the other arm off."

Taking his advice, she turned and sprinted for Bowser's room, where she'd left her weapons.

A dagger barely missed her head , and she let out a shriek.

Almost there.
Almost there.

Yes!
Up ahead, the red door to Bowser's suite of rooms loomed.

As she crashed through the doors, she grabbed blindly for the closest sword.
Iggy leaped at her and she brought up the sword to block the next attack.

"Sarasaland's sword." Iggy noted. ''Good choice."

Raven glanced down. The Sarasaland sword was curved slightly, forged as a cutlass.

Iggy raised his foot and kicked hard.

Raven sailed through the door, landing hard on her back and knocking the wind out of herself.

As Iggy leaped through the door, sword arching toward Raven, she rolled out of the way. Flipping to her feet, she turned and ran as fast as she could.

She had heard that Iggy was insane when you put a sword in his hands. Just look at what he had supposedly done to Ness? Ness still had gauze packed around his nose, much like herself.

Raven didn't want to see what would happen if he caught her. She dove onto a railing, sliding herself down the long staircase.

"That won't saaave yoooou." Iggy sang sliding right behind her.

She slid off the bannister and ran for the dining room. Her nose was starting to throb in pain, along with everything else.

Bowser.

She had to get to Bowser.

"I'm gonna geeet you Mom!" Iggy cackled as he ran after her.

As she kicked in the dining room door, Tyrion began to speak.

Raven interrupted him by vaulting over the table and skidding to a halt beside Bowser.

"YOUR SON IS FUCKING CRAZY! STOP HIM!"

The door was once again kicked in and Iggy cartwheeled in. His eyes were as wild as his hair.

"Heeeeere's Iggy!"

And with that he leaped at Raven.. and was promptly tackled out of the air by Thalia, her leg cast thumping painfully against the table.

As the two rolled around, Thalia delivered a right hook to his temple, knocking him out cold.

"Raven?" Tyrion asked cautiously. His daughter was shaking like a leaf.

"I am never sparring with him again." Was her reply.

Bowser wrapped a comforting arm around her.

"He was supposed to be distracting you, not trying to kill you. I've gotcha Rae, he won't hurt you." He soothed.

"Distracting me from what?" She sniffled.

''Well…you kinda came in early.."

Raven glanced back. The dining room was made up with purple streamers.

"Oh…You remembered my birthday?"

"How could I not remember?" Bowser looked a tad offended by that. As they all sat down to eat, Raven began to devour her food like she hadn't eaten in weeks. If Peach was there, Raven would probably get scolded for not eating like a lady.

An ache went through her at the thought of her sister.

"Raven?" Tyrion placed his hand on her shoulder. "Bowser wants to speak to you in private on the balcony."

"Yes Father." She wiped her mouth before getting to her feet. She took care to push her chair in before heading outside.

The afternoon wind whipped through Raven's hair. The smell of Brimstone and smoke filled her nose.

She let out a contented sigh as she rested her arms on the railing, which overlooked the massive lava moat around the castle.

Why was it that Bowser was always trying to get her away from people?

"Rae?"

Raven glanced back at the hulking Koopa as he made his way onto the balcony. As he stopped, she finally got a good look at his face.

The king looked as though he had not slept in a while. Heavy bags were under his eyes, and yet, he had a nervous smile on.

"My love…are you alright? Have you not been sleeping?" Raven's voice was tinged with worry.

"I've been thinking." He replied. "Our chances…they aren't good right now, are they? "

Raven shook her head no.
"Not since they have the Triforce."

"….."He wordlessly handed her a box. "I'm horrible at doing this. Just open the box."

As she opened it, a coiling golden dragon was visible, nestled in the velvet inside of the box.

"It's a tradition in Darkland. The king gives this to the one he proposes too. Of course, this one had to be reforged, because it's the one my father gave my mother.''

"Are you-"

"Will you?" His voice was urgent.

The Balcony was spinning.

She found that she wasn't getting much air. Black dots were spotting her vision.

Almost immediately, he was beside her, steadying her with his enormous hands.

"You alright?"

Raven nodded. Then nodded again.

"There's something you need to know before I say yes."

Bowser looked concerned.

"What is it?"

"When I was..recovering.. I don't remember much of it. Syrio told me that I was basically a zombie, and that only Hyrule's healers were able to save my life.. but.."

"Raven…what is it?" He repeated. "It can't be that bad.. can it?"

"We have a daughter."
