A.N.
The last one was a little late, and I apologize. Work was a bit hectic and I didn't have time to upload. But this one should be on time. After this, updates might be a little slower then normal, as I've actually run out of chapters that I've written by hand. But I promise to work my butt off to get these to you guys, because I adore you all.

Sarasaland Deserts

A caravan of carts and horses moved through the desert. At the head of the caravan, Zelda rode on a white horse. She had a veil over her face to block the sand from her mouth. It was more sheer then the one she used as Sheik.

After they'd escaped Castle Town, they'd made their way to the Gerudo Village. After picking up some supplies, they had made for the Wastelands of Sarasaland.

Ganondorf was on one side of her, and Link was on the other. The two were giving each other death glares.

"So Samus," Zelda called out, "Rosalina sent you? Merely because she sensed we needed aid?"

Samus, who was driving one of the carts, looked up. Her own mouth was covered by a veil as well.

"She was originally going to send Captain Falcon. She just found me first." She looked annoyed at Falcon's name.

Zelda shuddered at that. Captain Falcon had never been her favorite person. She found him annoying.

Ruto spoke up.

"Shouldn't some of us go check to see if Nabooru even made it to Darkland?"

"Ruto. I know you're scared," Saria spoke up, "We all are. But we need to rid ourselves of this menace. And fast."

"But-" Ruto protested.

"No Buts." Darunia cut in,"We have to do this. It's the only way."

Rauru, the Sage of Light, didn't say much. He didn't much care for the heat, and was taking shelter inside Samus's wagon.

"Still.. If it's just us, we are VASTLY outnumbered here, Zelda." Saria pointed out.

"Fear not," Samus replied, "Because we have reinforcements on the way."

The ground around them began to rumble. Without warning, an enormous sandworm erupted from the sands in front of them.

"Dammit!" Ganondorf yelled, just barely managing to leap off his horse before it was devoured.

Samus vaulted from her perch.

"Ganondorf! WATCH THE WAGON!" She ordered. Her armor began to form around her. Thank goodness her suit was climate controlled. Otherwise, she would collapse from the heat.

Link rummaged around in Ruto's wagon, humming to himself gently. He let out a triumphant cry as he found what he was looking for. A very familiar Ocarina. One given to him by his childhood friend.

"Link, what good will that do?" Ruto protested.

In response, Link patted her cheek. Then he put the ocarina to his lips. As he played, storm clouds began to form above them.

Darunia curled himself into a ball and began to roll towards the Sand worm. If he could get on the worm's back,he would be able to take down this creature.

Thunder and lightning roared above him.

Ruto lifted her head to the skies, closing her eyes. It had been a day or so since she'd felt water on her gills. It felt cool and refreshing, like the waters of her home.

Ganondorf handed the reins over to Rauru and unsheathed an enormous two handed broadsword.

Samus was rapid firing at the creature, the night lighting up from the blue blasts filling the air.

A bolt of lightning snaked down and struck the worm, who roared in pain. It thrashed about, throwing Darunia off it.

Ganondorf ran at the beast, raising his sword.

An enormous airship passed overhead. For a moment, it seemed to block out even the moon itself. The worm seemed to look up in confusion. And that was when Ganondorf struck. He rammed the sword deep into it's vulnerable underbelly. The worm let out a shriek that could jar the very bones from your body.

The ship above them flew a flag that showed a bloodstone on a bloody background.

"Bloodstone." Zelda snarled. It seemed to be heading towards the horizon. A crumbling ruin lay far ahead of them.

Link stowed his ocarina. Saria hopped from her horse and ran to him, throwing her arms around him.

"YOU KEPT IT!" She cried out happily, hugging him tighter,"I knew you would!"

Ganondorf looked up at the ship. A feeling of dread filled him. His thoughts went back to Princess Raven. She'd reached Darkland yes, but had she been able to make any progress with rooting out those Crystal bastards?

"Zelda? Have we had any communication with Darkland since that comm meeting?"

Zelda looked surprised by the question.

"No...We really haven't. I tried, but all the comms were busy. Why?"

"Don't know why, I just thought of the little warrior suddenly."

"Alright everyone!" Samus called out, "Time to-"

"Going somewhere?" A voice called out. A sandy haired woman with eyes like ice stepped in the path of the caravan.

Zelda realized with a start that she knew the woman.

"Queen Ariyana!"The queen removed her veil quickly.

Ariyana's eyes shone with malice.

"Zelda dear, how many years has it been? Surely you are not planning to head for the ruins?"

"Have to," Zelda's voice was firm, "They've invaded my kingdom."

Ariyana sighed and adjusted her white labcoat.

"I expected the Triforce of Wisdom holder to at least have some fucking sense."

And with that, dozens of holoscreens appeared around Ariyana.

The sand around them began to rumble dangerously.

"More worms, your highness?" Ganondorf taunted.

Ariyana's eyes glimmered and, for one moment, they were a deep red.

"Wrong."

A thrashing mess of teeth and spikes emerged from the sand.

Ruto swore and hid behind Darunia.

"Is...is that?" She squeaked out.

The chain chomp that had emerged was five times the normal size of a chain chomp. It appeared to have an elongated body, almost like a snake. The Chomp was seemingly carved from a black gemstone. Several of them were emerging from the sand. All were made of that black gemstone.

"What the ACTUAL FUCK IS THAT?" Ganondorf snapped.

"So sorry it had to be this way, queen Zelda. Perhaps in your next life, you'll be a bit smarter." Ariyana smirked.

And then, all at once, the creatures descended on them.
