I have been slowly adding to this ch.
It's been a wonderful distraction from all the shit from work.
DBZ
Her parents had her when her Father took the throne at eighteen.
She was given the name Niun, crown Princess of planet Vegeta.
From what she was told, her mother was one of the top three Saiyan elites, the third strongest with her father being first and a friend of theirs being second. She was also her father's childhood friend, turned mate, turned queen.
It wasn't a surprise to anyone that when Niun was born, she had a high power level. Especially with two powerful parents.
They just...didn't expect her power level to be a little over 10,000...
Her birth had almost literally shaken the planet, and cause an uproar. An uproar of pride for the saiyan race, because surely with such a power level at the beginning of her life it was a sign that good things are to come under King Vegeta's rein.
Her father was so proud.
As was her mother, even if she died a few months later due to the stress of her body carrying such a strong babe.
King Vegeta had been devastated by her passing, but wouldn't let it hold him back. She had made him promise on her death bed, to rule as he should, and to raise their child to become a worthy ruler.
She mostly took after her mother, with long spiky swept back hair that reached her knees, sharp black eye's, high cheekbones, and an unusually colored black tail that was twice the regular length. She had gotten the red tints to her hair, tanned skin, widow peak (Although not to the extent of her fathers) and eyebrows from her father.
Niun was fifteen when her father finally found someone else to love. She wasn't as powerful as her mother, in fact she was from the lower bracket of the elites, but she made her father happy. A year later her little brother Vegeta, and two years after that Tarble, was born. She was miffed that her father had sent Tarble to a distant planet since he couldn't fight, but she admitted that it was probably best as not being able to fight on planet Vegeta was just asking to be killed.
And while most were a bit disappointed that her brothers were never as powerful as herself (born with power level's below 5,000), neither she nor her father cared.
And if anyone said anything, then they would have to deal with her.
"Well, that takes care of this planet." Niun yawned, stretching out her arms while walking towards a fallen pillar and sat on it. The twenty-one-year-old looked towards the three teams she was in charge of for these series of mission's gathered in front of her, "and we're ahead of scheduled as well!"
"So what do we do now?" Bardock, a long time friend of hers, questioned curiously. They had a few more weeks until they needed to report in their progress so far. He didn't understand why they needed three teams and Niun- of all Saiyan's- for such an easy mission. Sure they were given a list- an honest to god list- of planets that needed to be freed up for selling, but they were pitifully easy so far, two teams at most would have finished the job. Sending out five teams, plus Bardock's own and Niun herself was just overkill.
Niun grinned at them all, "How about partying? There's quite a bit of food and alcohol that survived, and the carcasses of these guys are edible." she suggested.
The group cheered, splitting up to gather what they needed and talking about who did what.
Bardock chuckled, walking over and sitting next to Niun, "Is this a good idea?"
"Mhm, they told us it'd take three day's to clear this planet. Not our fault that we finished ahead of scheduled." She shrugged. She went silent for a while, watching as some of the saiyan's laughed and tackled one another. "By the way, I'm pregnant."
Bardock stared ahead of them for a bit, his mind processing what she said.
"Huh? Really?" He questioned in surprise, quickly turning towards her.
"Why are you surprised?" She said, giving him an amused look, "Pretty sure going at it like that will impregnate anyone."
He shrugged his shoulder's, a smirk on his lips. "You just didn't smell like you were is all."
"Ah, well, couldn't let father know until I tell him."
Bardock and Niun had known each other since she was a child, with the male being seven years older then herself, and had done almost all of their missions together. Her father hadn't liked it. Mostly because Bardock was a lower-class, but he had a weakness when it came to Niun, so he let them remain friends.
When puberty hit Niun- which was at fifteen- she had been ecstatic, but also disheartened.
On one hand, yay~, only three more years until she could safely carry a child!
On the other...
Well...Bardock was already mated. Arranged it may have been he was still a married man. And she wasn't a fucking homewrecker despite how much she was already in love with him.
She had no idea how he found out about her feelings for him, but he did. She was pleasantly surprised to know that he had started to love her as well, but she wasn't of age yet and thus making it highly inappropriate. He only asked her to be his when she turned eighteen, the legal age to marry/mate on planet Vegeta.
Niun had been bewildered, asking about his wife, only to learn that he had married her as a favor. Apparently the two were good friends, and the saiyan Gine was suppose to marry was...well, he was a total asshole and would have mistreated her since she didn't like to fight. So the two married so she could avoid that.
And while Gine and Bardock loved one another, had a son, they weren't in love.
Honestly the two acted exactly how they did as friends.
With Gine's full support (and wiggling suggestive eyebrows pointed at them) they decided to embrace their feelings. The two females becoming fast friends over cooking and the decision to have a natural pregnancy instead of incubating like most did. (Never mind the fact that Gine could only do it once as her body was too weak to support a healthy saiyan child again without the risk of dying)
Sadly they could never be publicly together, even with King Vegeta's softness for his daughter, and that Bardock was commonly known as the strongest male warrior of their race so far, the fact of the matter was that Bardock and Niun were in different class' (the age difference having nothing to really do with it, power level being more important). Even the King wouldn't allow the male saiyan to even suggest it.
They already had a child together, bringing Prince Lattuce to the world (with a power level of 7,000) when she was nineteen. And no matter how much her father demanded to know the identity of the saiyan who fathered Lattuce, she kept her mouth shut. She knew if he found out that she was carrying the child of a lower-class saiyan, then he would kill Bardock for the 'slander'. Then try and have her mate an elite to cover it up.
Fuck that.
"How far?" He questioned, glancing down at her middle and trying to see the bump.
"Oh...I'd say about a month or so." She said, "I hate that you can't claim any of them publicly. Lattuce get's very sad over how rare you can see him." she sighed.
Lattuce, the almost exact replica of Niun down to the length of his tail, aside from the tail color, bangs, and stronger features he had inherited from Bardock. The only thing the prince didn't get from either of them, was the spiky hair he seemed to get from King Vegeta.
He frowned at that, before looking towards the sky. "...I admit, while it sucks that I can't train my own child, or be able to see this one, I'm kinda fine with it. He'll still be my child." he then grinned mischievously, "The thought of those asshole up top unknowingly praising a child of a lower-class is hilarious. And I'm sure I can sneak into the palace at some point to see him."
Niun laughed in agreement.
"Again?" Vegeta questioned upon seeing his elder sister once he's returned. He had gone on a month long training trip to one of the nearby planets, and was eager to come back and show her what he learned, only to find the palace in a buzz and their father grumbling (sulking) about Niun being pregnant again and refusing to identify the father.
She smiled, "Of course." She said, holding up Lattuce and kissing his nose. The two-year-old laughing, his tail wagging in glee, as he gave a sloppy kiss to her cheek. "Do you have a problem with me wanting more children?"
Vegeta huffed at her, "Yes." he grumbled.
Niun paused, looking at him, and laughed. "Are you mad because I won't be able to train with you?"
"I don't understand! I thought females were able to fight until their belly got huge!" He complained. He was irritated because while most thought it was his mother that had forbidden Niun from roughhousing, it wasn't.
That honor went to the King.
"You know how father is."
He scowled.
The king was very dotting on his grandchild, and while miffed at not knowing the father, was happy to have another grandchild to dot and spoil very soon.
The two royals fell silent, the only sound was of Lattuce asking to be let down. Once the toddler was on his feet, he quickly made his way over to Vegeta and latched onto his leg.
"...Is it going to follow me around like Lattuce does?" he questioned as he tried to shake off his nephew from his leg. Except he wouldn't. Let. Go!
"Maybe." she answered in amusement.
"Fantastic." He deadpanned.
"By the way," She started, smirking at the persistence her son was being with Vegeta's leg. "Who was it that came to visit while I was out purging those planets?" she questioned.
Her brother paused, a scared expression briefly taking over his features, before he suppressed it. "The God of Destruction, Lord Beerus." He answered.
She blinked, "Oh. Him." she hummed out unconcerned.
Vegeta looked bewildered at her reaction, "That's it?!"
She shrugged at him, "I've met Beerus before, he's not that scary, and Whis is kinda funny when it comes to food." She paused, "They both are actually." She amended before pausing again. "They also seem very fond of the food I cook."
Vegeta could only stare at her.
Niun quickly walked down the hallway, Lattuce held tightly to her bust, while worrying over what both Bardock and her father had told her earlier that day.
Bardock had come running to her, frantic and bloodied, telling her to get off the planet as fast as she could with Lattuce. He spoke of the damnable power he had gotten from his last mission, how it showed him that Freeza was going to destroy the planet and every saiyan on it.
Her father had come to her after Bardock had left to warn Gine, also telling her to leave the planet. He had a gut feeling that something horrible was going to happen, and he had always trusted it, thus he made sure Vegeta was off planet and had come to tell her that the royal pod was ready for both her and her son. He had been reluctant to send her off, hoping that he was only being paranoid, but he doubted it.
Thus here she was.
"Ok my darling, come on, in we go." she muttered, climbing in and getting them both situated. She was pleased to know that her father had upgraded a normal pod into a pregnancy one in secret, so it wouldn't tip off anyone in Freeza's database.
These pod's were specifically built for the pregnant Woman who could still fight. The pod put the body into stasis, halting the pregnancy to where it was when the female entered, because you couldn't store food in the pod. Depending on where you were going it could take months at least, and not eating for such an extreme time would cause miscarriages, females also didn't want to have the baby while they traveled.
Thus the pod was invented.
"Where daddy?" Lattuce questioned curiously.
Niun frowned, pausing briefly in getting the pod ready to launch, a hand absentmindedly rubbing her bloated stomach. She only had a month left before the child was born, "he's busy." she quickly finished typing the coordinates to a random friendly planet.
The pod closed, the roof opened, and it launched.
She watched as she got farther from her home, catching a glimpse of her mother watching her leave as she broke the atmosphere.
And as the stasis started to take hold, the last thing Niun saw was the figure of Bardock flying towards the looming ship of Freeza's.
The pod crashed on a different planet then what was set a year later, the transport having collided with several asteroids along the way, knocking it off course along with damaging the systems.
The door would not open without help from the outside.
The two Royals would stay in stasis, asleep, for years to come. Ignorant of prince Vegeta's agony at the lost of his home, his family and race except for a handful. Ignorant of Bardock's demise as he tried to save the planet.
Ignorant of a baby sent off to earth that would defeat a tyrant.
Years passed before the pod was found by a twenty-one-year-old saiyan named Broly, and his father Paragus.
"And what have we here?" Paragus questioned in interest, "A Royal Pod? And it seems like it's been here for quite some time. Maybe even before Planet Vegeta blew up." He mused, spotting the Royal symbol on the side of it. He walked up to it, brushing away the moss and ripping vines to get a better look. "I wonder why they left it here? It must have broken." He mumbled.
As he looked over the pod, seeing if it was salvageable, Broly had gone to the front of it. He figured his father was going to command him to bring it with them, even if it wasn't salvageable it still had useful parts. So he started the process of ripping the vines off of it and getting it free.
He had just gotten to the small window of the pod, before he glanced inside and saw two body's inside.
A pause.
His father was still mumbling to himself, not paying any attention to him.
He leaned forward, brows furrowed, as he stared at the two. Corpses? They haven't rotted yet. He thought, eye's glancing towards the smaller form and realizing it was a child. A shame, must have fled the destruction of the planet only for something to go wrong with the pod.
He was about to say something about it, until his eye's caught the small movement inside. Broly blinked, before suddenly thrusting his hands in between the door and the rest of the pod.
"Wha- BROLY!" Paragus yelled in shock at what he was doing.
The male ignored him, he could hear the computer inside releasing the stasis from the two- apparently alive- saiyan's.
"Stasis?!" The elder said in shock, coming around to Broly's side to see who was inside. "A pregnancy pod?" he gasped.
Broly waited for a moment, making sure the computer went silent, before tearing the door off and throwing it aside carelessly.
"Hrm..." A soft groan came from inside.
A female Saiyan. Broly thought in shock. His father gasped when they leaned down to see who was inside, making him glance over.
"PRINCESS NIUN! PRINCE LATTUCE!" Paragus exclaimed, making the two mentioned blink their eye's open. The man glanced down at the obviously pregnant stomach. Now that I think of it, the princess had gotten pregnant again. The king was furious at not knowing who the father of the children were. He thought while helping the two- soon to be three- royals out of the pod.
"Hm? Oh, Paragus...?" Niun questioned drowsily, eyebrows furrowed as she stepped out with Lattuce standing next to her yawning. She stared at his face, her eye's losing the last dregs of sleep and eyebrows rising as she took him in. "...You've aged."
Paragus smiled slightly at that, "Yes, it tends to happen when a little over twenty years has passed."
"What." She questioned.
"Mama?" Lattuce called, "Hungry..." He grumbled, before noticing a silent Broly observing him. He blinked, before smiling at the older saiyan, "Hi!"
Broly grunted at him.
Niun looked towards him, eye's locking with the others, and scanned him from head to toe. "And who is this?"
"Ah, of course! Forgive me princess, this is my son, Broly." Paragus introduced, mind whirling at how a saiyan female had survived. Maybe the race isn't as doomed as I originally thought. He mused.
"Your son?" She said in surprise, "My, my, my...I caught a glimpse of him the day he was born. He was very strong, almost as strong as I was when I was born, and I was on my way to congratulate you when Bardock..." she trailed off, eyes warming at the saiyan's name. She then frowned, glancing at Broly, "Paragus...What has happened in my absence?"
"Come this way your highness, there is...much that I need to tell you of." Paragus stated with a grim face.
He was not looking forward to telling her of the destruction of the planet.
She had not been happy.
Broly had been entranced by the destruction of her grief and anger.
Paragus finally found out the father of the prince, along with the child on the way, was Bardock's.
He also noticed his son's increasing interest in the princess, lingering around her when he could, playing with the prince, and being genuinely calm.
It baffled him.
The one time Broly started to get out of control was the last. Paragus and the princess had been discussing on the possibility of any saiyan's being alive when they felt the spike of Broly's power. Niun had been confused by it, wondering what was happening, while Paragus was in dread. And while they had stopped on an underpopulated planet, thus limiting the damage Broly could do, that wasn't the problem.
The problem was that Broly was with the prince.
He had run out of the building they were using, the controller in his hand. He was aware of Niun coming out from behind him, taking in the scene of Broly's rage taking over, and recognized the danger this put her son in. Lattuce was right in front of Broly with a ball in his hand's, confused and trying to call out the elder saiyan.
Niun had quickly went over, and Paragus feared that she and her children would perish, and did something strange with her energy. Her hand glowed red, before she put it to Broly's forehead.
A pause.
Paragus' eye widened as Broly seemed to calm down, eyes blinking in shock, before Niun retracted her hand.
"Paragus," She called coolly, "I think we need to talk some more."
Her water broke at that moment.
Very calmly she looked down, gave an annoyed sigh, before walking inside of the building they were occupying. "Never mind. It seems it will have to wait for later."
Paragus quickly got his men into action, getting the doctors and some women to act as helpers, before taking his son and the prince far away from the location. When the two questioned him, he told them that they didn't want to be anywhere near a female saiyan in labor. Especially if said female didn't have their mate with them to calm them down.
This was supported by not even twenty minutes later, as Niun had let out a feral yell that echoed miles out. She had let out blast's of energy in random directions when the time to push the babes out came.
They could hear the agonizing screams from where they hunkered down.
Nine hours later and Prince Maiz and Princess Avoca was born. The babe's were the spitting image of their father, down to the dark hair and tanned skin. The only thing different was the boy seemed to have gotten the unusually long black tail she and the late first queen had, while the girl had long spiky hair that Niun remembered Raditz having but with bangs and her fathers tail color.
"What the hell is Freeza doing on Namek?" Niun questioned, she handed Broly the twins as she put her full attention on Paragus.
Five years had passed since her twins were born, the small group of saiyan's traveled from planet to planet to find any other survivors. Niun had actually grown to become fond of Broly, the male seemed to harbor a small infatuation with the princess.
While flattered, and knowing Bardock would want her to move on, she couldn't bring herself to love another.
Niun was content with just her children, and Broly seemed to be a natural when caring for them and didn't seem to mind that they weren't of his blood.
Paragus shrugged his shoulder's, "well, my sources say that he's there for immortality, and while Namekians do live far longer then most races, I don't see how he would gain anything from them." he was honestly confused on what Freeza thought the peaceful, plant like, race could offer him when it came to immortality. Unless he was planning on living on water like they do. He mused.
Niun raised a skeptical brow, before getting up. "I'm going."
"Are you sure?" Broly questioned, he had no problem with her going, but he did if she planned on going alone.
She nodded her head, "Of course! This will be the perfect opportunity to kill the bastard that destroyed our home!" She snarled, she then smiled, "And a little birdie told me that my brother was still alive! Apparently Freeza had him under his foot since that day." she stated happily. She picked up the twins and started walking out of the room to search for Lattuce. "Maiz and Avoca will be able to meet their uncle as well!"
Broly frowned, quickly going after her. "I'm coming as well." He stated.
She paused, looking at him in thought, before shrugging her shoulder's. "Well, I don't see why not. It may be good for Vegeta to know he isn't the only saiyan left."
Paragus also seemed to get up, "Your highness, is it wise to have Broly go as well?"
"It's fine Paragus, so long as Broly wears the earrings I made him, then he'll be in control." she dismissed.
"But-" He started again, only to fall silent at the glare she sent his way. "Of course my Queen, forgive me." he bowed, sweating at the thought of what she would do to him.
Niun observed him for a moment, deciding on what to do, but left it alone. "Mah, you are only looking out for us Paragus. But do remember that I am not an idiot, I know what I am doing."
"Y-Yes."
She nodded, before leading her little group out of the room.
Niun quirked a brow at the inverted colors of planet Namek. "Blue grass and green oceans?" She commented in amusement.
"Do you think the fish are tasty?" Lattuce questioned, going towards the water and peering inside of it.
"Do you think there are any fish?" Avoca frowned in thought, the girl hanging off of Broly's shoulder.
Maiz only tilted his head to the side, face stoic and observing their surroundings.
Niun smiled at her children, "Maa, maa, I'm sure we can find out after we find your uncle." she stated. Picking Maiz and gesturing for Broly to follow, the saiyan's flew through the sky, Niun looking out for any sign of fighting that could be her brother.
An explosion in the distance made her think that was probably him.
"Hm, who the hell were those weaklings?" She questioned after incinerating the blue skinned alien, while Maiz and Avoca finished off the large man.
"Ah," Broly stated as Lattuce frowned and tilted his head in thought, "The red one is getting away."
"Do you want me to take care of it, mama?" Lattuce questioned, his hand held up with an energy ball in it.
She thought for a moment, before waving her hands and dismissing it. "We'll take care of it later, but for now..." She trailed off and looked at the group behind them. There were two adults and what looked like two children, looking closer she saw that the bald one was probably also an adult. The little boy seemed to be in shock, and wary of her group as was the bald one, looking to the side revealed familiar hair and a pale face staring at her like he'd seen a ghost. Oho? He really does look like father. She mused, amused at her brothers expression, before looking at the last-
"Bardock?!" She yelled in shock.
"Huh?" Said look alike jerked back in confusion as she quickly stepped up to him, "Uhhh, sorry to say but...My name's Goku."
She frowned and looked closer, and while he looked almost exactly like her lover she noticed a few differences. This man, Goku, had lighter skin, and his eye's were a bit rounder along with having softer features. "Ah, I see. You must be Kakarot, Bardock's and Gine's child." she nodded. "...My you have grown haven't you?"
He blinked, "Uh, thanks? And it's Goku actu-"
It was then that Vegeta unfroze and interrupted Goku, "Niun?!"
She smiled at him, "Hello brother."
"BROTHER?!" The small bald man yelled.
"UNCLE!" Lattuce yelled in glee, jumping and latching onto Vegeta's leg. His tail wagged as he smiled brightly up at him, "It's been so long! It's so nice to see you again!"
Vegeta shook out his leg furiously, "Lattuce! Unhand me!"
His only response was a laugh.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEh? Hey we want to hug uncle!" Avoca complained. She then latched onto Vegeta's other leg. Maiz, silently following his twin, latched onto the elder saiyan's back.
"THERE ARE MORE BRATS?!"
Niun laughed, "Of course, don't you remember I was pregnant? Turns out, it was twins!"
Vegeta paused, "WAIT HOW THE HELL ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?! AND WHO THE HELL IS THAT?!" he questioned, then pointed to a silently amused Broly.
"This is Broly, Paragus' son. He decided to come with me to find you, Paragus is busy so he stayed behind to try and find any survivors."
Niun frowned, squinting her eyes as she stared at the darkened sky above.
Avoca and Maiz looked as well, wondering what their mother was frowning about.
Lattuce tapped his chin in thought, "Neh, mama?"
"Hn?"
"Doesn't this planet have three suns?"
Broly, who was standing next to the saiyan princess- now queen really- nodded his head. "Yes, yes it does. Which means the sky here shouldn't be so dark." He pointed out towards the two younger saiyan's.
"Oh." Avoca tilted her head towards her mother, "Does that mean somethings wrong?"
Niun nodded her head, before sniffing the air, and noticed that the half-breed of Kakarot's and the small bald one's scent were getting stale.
"What is it?" Broly questioned.
"Gohan and the bald one aren't in the ship." She replied with a frown, she glanced down at her sleeping brother. "Children stay inside with your uncle, Broly make sure they are safe, and Lattuce let Vegeta know that these...Earthlings?...Are planning something."
"Yes, mama~!" Avoca confirmed while Maiz gave a determined nod.
"Eeeeeh~? I want to come!" Lattuce whined, but sat down next to Vegeta anyway. He knew better then to argue with her.
Broly just sighed as she left the ship to find the earthlings.
"Am I hearing this right?"
Gohan jolted, face paling with Krillin whimpering and Dende freezing in his tracks. The three slowly looked behind themselves and came face to face with Niun.
Said princess was looking up at the dragon in the sky, she tilted her head to the side in thought, her eye's gleaming in a way that Gohan was not sure he liked. "Tell me, Gohan, the one you have wished back was dead, was he not?"
Said half-breed gulped, "Y-Yes...?"
Niun stepped forward in determination, knocking away the bald one who got in her way. "You can revive the dead? Is there a limit?" she demanded. She looked down at Gohan, who looked confused at why she was asking this. She clicked her tongue, "Answer me Gohan!"
"T-Theres a limit to one per wish, it doesn't matter how long they have been dead." Dende answered nervously.
Niun clenched her hands, "So I could wish him back?" She muttered in longing.
Gohan blinked, hearing what she said, and wondered who she was talking about.
And then Vegeta arrived in a fury.
Niun was...not happy with Kakarot.
"That bastard." Vegeta stated as he looked around the planet they had been transported to.
Maiz and Avoca were running around the grass, stopping to roll onto it with a giggle, before tackling one another.
Broly was curious about all of the smells he was being bombarded with, his tail absentmindedly unwinding from his waist to stop Avoca from tripping over a root. "...This planet would fetch quite the price."
Vegeta and Niun paused at that, taking a good look and agreeing. "This is a golden planet." Vegeta realized, remembering that these types use to fetch an ungodly amount of money.
Bardock loved these type of planets. Niun sighed.
A few months passed before the Namekian Dragon Balls were able to be used again. The Saiyan's stood aside as the earthlings wished back their comrades, Niun coming forward when it was made clear that Kakarot did not wish to come back to earth yet. That he wanted to stay and train, which was a perfectly good reason to the saiyan's.
None of them understood why the female earthling was so furious about this.
"Well, is there anything else we could-" Dende questioned, before jerking as Niun stopped beside him.
"Would it be alright if I made a wish?" She questioned.
Dende looked behind himself, checking with the others.
"What are you going to wish for?" Krillin question with a frown, suspicious as this was Vegeta's sister, and every other saiyan they had met had been assholes. "We won't let you do anything if you're gonna hurt anyone!"
She scoffed, "No, nothing like that. I only wish to have my mate back." she said softly, surprising everyone.
"You mean papa can come back?" Lattuce questioned hopefully.
Maiz looked at his elder brother in shock, before looking at his mother, "Truly?"
"Daddy?! We can meet Daddy?!" Avoca questioned in excited hope, hopping up and down. And even Vegeta was curious to see the male his sister had chosen, the one that infuriated their father.
Seeing the excitement on the younger saiyan's faces made Krillin falter in his suspicion of her, he didn't want to be the reason that these kids wouldn't be able to see their father. "Hmmm, well what do you guys think?"
The group gathered and discussed this.
"Please," She whispered to Dende. Niun knelt down to his level, "Please let me have my mate back."
The little Namekian glanced at his own father, who he had lost then had been wished back, then to the saiyan children who's father was also slain and had the chance to have him back. "Alright, whats his name?"
She smiled, "Bardock. He is a saiyan as well."
Dende yelled out her wish, gaining everyone's attention, and they held their breath.
Except nothing happened.
She frowned, the dragon was saying something to Dende, making him blink in surprise. "What is it? What's wrong?"
"Bardock isn't dead." He translated, "In fact he seemed to have somehow been sent back in time."
…
…
…
"Huh, is that right." Niun tapped her chin, "Then can you bring Bardock back here in front of me?"
Dende asked, and the dragon nodded.
Next anyone knew, a man that looked like Goku appeared before them, his armor torn and damaged and a startled expression on his face. "Fuck, again?!" He yelled in annoyance.
"BARDOCK!" Niun yelled in glee, jumping onto the male.
"SHIT!" Bardock yelped as he instinctively gripped her legs as they wrapped around him, he stumbled back a few steps before steadying himself. He blinked, then leaned his head back to see who was clinging to him. "Niun!"
She didn't give him any chance to say more as she quickly smashed her mouth to his in a heated kiss.
It didn't take long for Bardock to respond just as enthusiastically.
Sadly the moment was interrupted by Lattuce springing onto them, "FATHER!" The twins were not far behind as they latched onto the elder male.
"What kind of fucking saiyan has purple hair?" Bardock questioned as he studied the young man that had killed Freeza. It was easy to see that he was a saiyan, what with the tail and all, but even for a half-breed it was strange to see purple hair. From what he understood, the saiyan's had dark colored hair with tints to it, and saiyan DNA is the dominant gene even when mixing with other races.
Yet here this boy was.
With purple hair.
Niun stared, "His eye's are also blue...I wonder what species was able to win over our potent hair and eye color with their own genes?" She mused.
Lattuce tapped his chin, "He kinda looks like Uncle Vegeta."
Bardock and Niun looked the boy- who was trying to keep his tail away from the twins- over, and admitted that he did resemble the prince.
"LOOK! IT'S GOKU'S SHIP!"
…
…
…
"...Goku?" Bardock questioned. Who the hell was that? Weren't they meeting his son out here?
Vegeta came over to them, "It's what Kakarot goes by."
"What he goes by? But his name is Kakarot!" Bardock said in confusion.
"He doesn't seem to like being associated with the rest of his race." was all the prince said, unimpressed by Goku's decision. "Thus, he goes by Goku."
Bardock stared at him not believing what he just heard, before his face contorted into a scowl "The hell he does!" he snarled, before turning towards the crater the pod caused crashing. He quickly started to make his way over, shoving the earthlings out of his way, "KAKAROT!" He yelled as the pod door opened, revealing his son.
Said man looked startled.
Broly, who had been silently keeping an eye on the twins, smirked in amusement. Knowing very well that Goku willingly going by his earthling name, thus forsaking the saiyan name Bardock had given him, was probably one of the most insulting things he could do.
"Why is dad so mad?" Maiz questioned his twins.
The girl hummed in thought, "Maybe...Because its an adult thing?" she said slowly.
Maiz nodded in agreement, "Makes sense...adults are weird."
Lattuce and Broly snorted.
Niun was happy that the family was almost together. Now then, all we need to do is wish back Raditz. Then get Paragus to settle here with the rest of his race. This was, afterall, a golden planet. It was perfect for the saiyan's to repopulate on.
"What are you scheming?" Vegeta questioned, it had been an hour since Goku had shared what Trunks- the future saiyan half-breed- had told him. He wasn't sure how to feel about this.
"Hm, well, there are currently five full blooded saiyan adults here on earth- six if I could get in contact with Paragus-, three full blooded children and one half-breed." At Vegeta's look towards where the purple haired saiyan had been, Niun waved her hand dismissively, "He hasn't been born yet, so he doesn't count."
He grunted, silently asking her to continue.
"Well while having about ten saiyan's is a good number, I was thinking about wishing back Raditz and a friend of mine, Gine."
He rose a brow at that, "And why not just wish back our whole race?"
She scoffed, "I already tried that. Neither of the dragon balls could do it. Besides," here her eye's went dark, "Bardock told me all about how the fools mocked him when he tried to warn them, made his wounds worse as they threw whatever they could get their hands on. One of their most talented and powerful saiyan's at the time warns them about an attack and they ignore it?" She snarled, before shaking her head, "No one hurts my mate and gets away with it."
The prince blinked, uncomfortable with his sisters anger. "...Huh...alright. Then why Raditz?"
"Raditz- when I had last met him- idolized Bardock. He thought the world of his father, and from what I remembered cherished the ribbon he was given from him. He won't do anything in fear of disappointing him, especially now that he's a Super Saiyan." she explained, and Vegeta remembering the very same ribbon she was talking about. It was one of the only things Raditz had truly cherished above all else and made sure to take special care for, and got infuriated if someone else touched it.
"And this friend of yours?"
"Gine is Kakarot's mother- Yes I am very well aware that she would have had to sleep with Bardock for that to have happened, no he did not cheat on me, he was in fact 'mated' to Gine at the time but only as a favor to get out of a different pairing. Yes, I know how that looks, but Gine was perfectly fine with it, so wipe that expression off of your face brother, or I will do it for you." she glared.
Vegeta snapped his mouth shut, and scowled at her.
"As I was saying, she is his mother, and I thought it would be nice for him to be able to know her. They are actually quite alike." she paused, "Plus, I liked Gine. She didn't care that I was royalty, and gave good cover story's when Bardock and I had some alone time."
"If you know about Raditz, then why haven't you suggested Nappa?" He asked curiously. If his sister wanted as much saiyan's as possible, then whey hadn't she said anything about the bald one?
Niun scrunched up her nose at the name, "I've never liked him. He made fun of Bardock far too many times for me to even consider bringing him back." She narrowed her eye's in thought, "Unless it was so I could kill him again for the slander."
Bardock, having overheard them, stepped up next to Niun- with the twins on his shoulder's- and nudged her with his foot. Once he had her attention he spoke, "Do you think my team would be able to be brought back?"
Vegeta scrunched up his face, "Ah that's right, you had command of an elite force."
"Yes, they were killed by Dodoria."
Niun hummed, "Do you think they would be loyal and follow the rules I would set?"
Bardock narrowed his eyes, "That depends on the rules."
Broly had intervene by then, along with Goku (who had stayed behind to get to know his apparent half-siblings) and Gohan (Because Goku was still here). "No more planet purging."
"No harming humans." Goku stated.
"Don't purposely cause massive damage in the city's." Gohan sighed.
"Don't try and overthrow mama!" Lattuce chimed in as he pushed his way in between his parents.
"If you wanna kill something, then go off planet!" Avoca giggled.
"No killing or hurting any of Kakarot's friends." Maiz said...oddly disappointed.
"And that's it...for now." Niun shrugged. She then looked over at Goku and Gohan, "Although, I don't remember saying anything about those rules you've said."
Bardock sighed, transferring Maiz into Niun's arms, "It's...fair...I guess. We are going to be living here for the foreseeable future."
"So, there will be around fifteen saiyan's." Vegeta concluded. When he was younger, and it was just him Nappa and Raditz, he had dreamed of finding other survivors. Four were the most he had thought he'd ever be able to find, but this...this was a lot more then he had ever hoped for. It seems like our race has a fighting chance after all.
And by the looks Bardock was sending his younger children and Niun, then there would be quite a few more full blooded saiyan's joining them in the next three years.
And even if the rest of the saiyan's decided to take humans as mates, then at least they would still have saiyan blood in them. Unless some of the was interested in one of the other saiyan's- which meant they would have to find a way to build those incubating pod- but either way, Vegeta thought the future was looking good.
Now if only he could find someone worthy to mate with.
The princess and Bardock had quickly gone out in search for earths dragon balls the male saiyan anxious to see how his eldest had grown. Only to find out that, apparently, the dragon couldn't bring back anyone who had been dead for more then a year.
They had missed that mark.
Niun was offended by the dragon not granting their wish, even became enraged once she saw the disappointment in her mate's eye's. So instead she wished for him to transport her to the afterlife so she could get him herself.
It did not take long for Niun to wreak havoc, demanding the 'king' to tell her where Raditz was, then jumping into hell to retrieve him.
Radditz had been surprised at the female saiyan (who he realized was the princess) raging and decimating everything in her path- yelling his name- before she spotted him.
"THERE YOU ARE!" She snarled, grabbing the front of his armor and dragging him out of hell. She dropped him in front of Yama, pointing a demonic sword at him, and glared. "Revive him."
Raditz had the pleasure of seeing the king pale as he stared at the sword. His hand twitching before he quickly revived the saiyan and kicked them back to earth in fear.
Next he knew he saw his father standing before him, arms crossed and eye's just as hard as he remembered them. He was even more shocked at seeing Princess Niun move towards Bardock, kiss his cheek, and lean into his side while the other wrapped a possessive arm around her waist.
"F-Father..." Raditz stuttered in awe.
Mentioned saiyan looked him up and down, before nodding his head towards him. "Raditz." He acknowledged. "Come."
Raditz had been pissed at Goku, but Bardock had put his foot down before dragging the brothers to the home he had built and promptly handed their collective ass's to them for being dumbass's. Raditz for trying to kill his brother and nephew, and Goku for helping to actually kill Raditz and denying his blood.
They now tolerated one another for now. And that was good enough for Bardock.
Currently the family of six (as Goku decided to stay on earth) were traveling to the new Namek in order to wish back Bardocks team and Gine. It had taken some time for Bulma's father to make a new ship- as Vegeta had taken the last one- and another had to be built for Broly as he was determined to drag his father back to earth, but they were finally on their way to Namek.
It was almost a month later when the ship's phone rang and Niun had answered. She then proceeded to laugh her ass off so much that it had interrupted Bardock's and Raditz' training. The twins having been tasked to attack either of them at random times to test Raditz' awareness, had also paused and blinked at their mother's laughter.
"Ni?" Bardock called as he cautiously climbed the stairs, "Are you...alright?" he snatched the back of Avoca's shirt, stopping her from going on ahead of him. He handed her to Raditz (who had no problem letting his father go first) and peeked around the corner.
She tried to say something, only for choking to come out as she laughed.
"Mother?" Maiz questioned, only to be waved at by Bardock. They waited for her to catch her breath, before she opened her mouth.
"V-V-VEGETA!" only to cackle, hitting the floor to try and get herself under control again.
Raditz shared a look with his father, before lifting a brow at Niun. "What about him?"
"H-H-HE'S FALLEN FOR BULMA!" She managed to wheeze out, laughing even more, " MR-HUMANS-ARE-INFERIOR WANTS TO MATE WITH ONE!"
Bardock cracked a smile at this, not finding it as funny as his mate, but it was still humorous.
Raditz snorted, quickly covering his mouth as his shoulder's shook. "O-Oh..."
Lattuce had come in, having been taking a nap, to see what the fuss was about. "What? Whats so funny?"
"You may be getting a cousin." was all Bardock stated.
Gine, Niun, Chi-chi, Bulma and Fasha sat on a blanket outside and stared at the scene before them.
Lattuce and Gohan were talking as they looked over a book and shared a lunch. Lattuce gleefully telling the half-breed about what the technology was like outside of earth, while Gohan was listening intensely.
With a blush on his face as he stared at the other boy.
Fasha smirked, "Well, well, well. Look who has a crush on Lattuce!" she commented.
"Hmmm, Bardock isn't going to like this." Niun commented, her mate being surprisingly protective of his children. Especially when it came to his children's potential mates. "But...Gohan is smart, and he seems to have great potential. I'm sure he could prove himself to Bardock and get his approval." she shrugged before drinking the tea they had come out here for.
"But their related!" Bulma said in shock.
The saiyan females stared at her with raised brows at that.
"And...?" Fasha questioned.
"Ah, right you guy's are humans." Niun rolled her eye's before looking at her kin, "Apparently having relations with those of your own blood is frowned on here."
Their brows shot up, "Really?" Gine said in surprise.
"Apparently it's indecent and a taboo here." Bardock commented as he and Goku came back from their light sparring. He quickly kissed Niun's forehead before taking a seat next to her. "It's ridiculous if you ask me."
"You humans are really uptight." Fasha said in distaste.
Chi-chi spluttered, "Are you saying that this is common with saiyan's?!"
Gine pursed her lips, "Not really, but it does happen from time to time. It doesn't really matter as it was power level that was more important."
"But what about all the problems that rise up from conceiving a child?" Bulma questioned.
"That's what the incubators are for." Niun answered, watching as Gohan blushed even more as Lattuce leaned over to see something on his side. "They do more then just help the baby grow, it also filters out what would be harmful to the infant while mixing the best of both parents."
Bulma and Chi-chi were impressed.
Fasha could only marvel on how far behind this planet was when it comes to it's medical side. "...Wait, do you not have incubators here?" At their shake of head, she wondered how this species had survived thus far.
Gine bit her lip, "If you don't have incubators, then I assume that same gender couples here cannot have biological children of their own as well?"
"It can do that?!" The two human's and Goku questioned in surprise.
"They don't even have healing tanks." Niun commented.
Bardock furrowed his brows as he stared at the three across from him in wonder, "How the hell has this planet survived?"
"I'll just need to build a few," Niun sighed, "Gine can't handle another natural birth- Don't give me that look Gin-gin, I've seen the way you and Broly have been looking at one another.- and we may need a few more if Gohan and Lattuce want any children of their own."
Bardock scowled at the mention of his son possibly being mated, but said nothing. Instead he looked towards Maiz and Avoca currently tackling Radditz to the ground, Goku having slipped away from the conversation to join in the pile, as it seemed far more interesting. He silently promised that he would not let them be defiled by someone wanting to mate with them.
(Years into the future, Bardock would be lamenting the fact that Maiz would be dating the daughter of Hercule Satan while Niun chuckled at his despair.
And as Avoca comforted her father, she silently vows to never tell him that she was interested in someone, wisely keeping it to herself least her father go on a rampage.)
It did not take long for Chi-chi to agree to the match.
So long as she had a Grandbaby to spoil, then she could care less.
Niun stared at Bulma's stomach, a grin working it's way onto her face as her eye's sparkled. "I see that my brother has finally let his instinct's take over and claim you as his own." She said in amusement.
Bulma gave her a dry look, "Yeah, well, at least I'm not in this alone." she said, while patting her rounding stomach then pointedly looked an Niun's own.
Bardock had come inside, pausing his children's training, to check on who was near his mate while she was pregnant. Once he saw that it was only Bulma- who was also apparently with child- he went back to watching Raditz try and keep up with the twins.
The bluenette sighed in envy, "You're so lucky that Bardock stay's nearby to help out."
"I take it my brother isn't here anymore?"
A huff, "No. He took one of the fixed spaceships and left to go train." she grumbled.
Niun hummed at that, "I don't think my brother knew he impregnated you. If he did, then he would have made due with training here, closer to you." at the disbelieving raised brow from the other woman, Niun smiled. "It is true, male saiyan's are notoriously protective of their chosen mates, especially during this time. It nearly killed Bardock to stay away when I was carrying Lattuce, since we didn't want my father finding out about who I chose to be with. During that time, I heard that he had gotten far more ruthless when it came to his missions. It wasn't until he was able to see Lattuce, and check if we were harmed, that he calmed down." she then gestured to the doorway.
Bulma looked and saw that Bardock had moved the training to just the right spot so he could keep an eye on Niun through the open door of the house. She saw him glance over his shoulder quite a few times to see if the female saiyan was alright. "Oh wow."
"He couldn't do this with the twins either, as we were still sneaking around, and then Freeza happened. When he was wished back and saw how much he missed on all three of them growing up, instincts automatically translated this into the number of times we were unprotected, how vulnerable we were without him there to guard us." she gestured at him with a fond and loving smirk, "Thus, this very overprotective behavior right now."
"...So you're saying that if Vegeta knew, then he would still be here."
"Mhm." She confirmed, "Did you immediately take a shower before he woke up?"
"Yeah."
"Then there you go. Usually the morning after saiyan females don't clean themselves until after the male has woken up. That's because they can usually tell if you're pregnant or not when they wake up, people's scent's changes when it happens, and while it's very weak the first day it's usually enough. You washing yourself with those artificial scented soaps of yours probably covered it up. Thus making him miss it." The only reason Bardock had missed her second pregnancy was because they were on a time limit, and Niun had to quickly make it back to the palace and wash his scent off before her father got even a small whiff of him.
Bulma groaned, "And that's why he isn't here like Bardock is." who knew her cleaning habits would come back to bite her in the ass? "Well, I can at least get advise on raising a saiyan child. After all, you're on your fourth one now."
"Maybe so, but yours will be a half-breed, so I don't know how it will act." The saiyan confessed, most saiyan children were aggressive for the first year before they either mellowed out or got even more aggressive. All of her children had mellowed out so far, but Bulma was carrying Vegeta's child, so who knows how it will act.
Bulma pouted, before smiling and grabbing her hand, "Let's go ask Chi-chi then! I am dying for some girl talk right about now!" She dragged her outside, "Bardock~! Niun and I are headed to Goku's~!"
They could hear Bardock quickly ending the session and told the children (and Raditz) to make their way over to the Son house. Not even a second later the male was behind Niun, ready to intervene if something were to target either of them.
"Does anyone, by any chance, know what these Androids look like?" Maiz questioned as they grouped on a ledge just outside the city.
The group looked at the eight years old, their blank looks giving him all he needed to know.
"Kakarot, did that boy tell you anything?" Niun question, leaning into Bardock's side while glancing at her brother's son currently in Bulma's arms.
Goku shook his head, "Nope."
"And you didn't think to ask him?" Piccolo sighed.
"Well it kind of slipped my mind..." was the sheepish reply.
"How did something so important slip your mind?" Krillin questioned in bewilderment.
Bardock grunted, he was the only one of his elite team currently here. Because while they had been training as much as they could, they were still no where near powerful enough to fight these new enemy's, Raditz just barley scraped acceptable. Not to mention Gine didn't like to fight, and was also pretty weak, and because she decided to stay behind to take car of Naed (the newest of Bardock's and Niun's children) Broly had as well to protect them. "Well it's too late to do anything about it now." he said with a huff and dug back into the food the growing family had brought to eat.
"And it's not like it matters," Raditz stated, shrugging to dislodge a climbing Avoca that tried to snatch what he was eating, and smirk. "There's only gonna be two of them, can't be that hard to miss."
"Whats the worse that can happen?" commented.
…
…
…
"Did he really just say that?" Niun deadpanned, Bardock giving a suffering groan in answer as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
The young prince scratched his cheek, "Well...at least we know it won't be so easy now?"
"Because god forbid something goes as planned for once." Tien rolled his eyes.
"Did you really bring food just before a fight?" Bulma questioned with narrowed eye's
Niun gave a thumbs up, neither of the others saying anything, not even bothering to try and explain the action to these people. Apparently a lot of things the saiyan's did baffled or offended the humans.
Well, at least Kakarot is getting better with handling it. Raditz mused, glancing over towards said brother that was eyeing their food. He chuckled, before waving him over, Lattuce made room between them for him to sit.
Kakarot beamed, quickly coming over enthusiastically grabbing some food.
"There we go!" Raditz pat his back.
And then Androids blew up Yajirobe's car then went into the city, thus ending family bonding time.
"The fuck do you mean these aren't the Androids you were talking about?" Raditz demanded.
Trunk's coughed in his hand, avoiding the scorching eye's of Niun and Bardock drilling into the back of his head, and instead suggested to try and find the doctor's lab to stop the Androids he knew of from awakening.
"...Quite the the son you've got there brother." Niun commented.
"What?" He questioned in shock.
"Ma, he didn't know about that yet." Lattuce said.
"WHAT?" The prince demanded.
"Surprise! IT'S A BOY!" Maiz and Avoca yelled with jazz hands!
Bardock looked to the heavens, "How did he not know? He smell's like him."
Niun thought this was going to be a long day.
