A Tale of Two Brothers
Hey peeps, I don't own anything related to Sonic or his universe, that's SEGA and all other companies relevant to the creation of his various back-stories, and even though most of them have tanked it now that is besides the point.. Honestly, I actually own very little in this fic (next to nothing to be exact) but this is my story and even though I am using characters from Archie, DiC and SEGA I will be fleshing many of them out because they were only 2-dimensional so in many ways they will appear very OC.. Hopefully you'll bear with me! Anyway, I've bored you enough so enjoy... And let me know what you think!
Reviews:
No reviews, but then since I failed to keep up with the regular updates I don't blame you guys... Hehe need to try harder, huh?
Little hint: look out for a familiar face making his debut, I bet some of you were wondering if he was even going to make it into this story..
Chapter 31: Mission into Downtown Mobotroplolis
With a weary sigh Charles Hedgehog packed up the final bits of the finished control panel into a box along with the blue prints and inscription discs used to store the Robotic Transformation Machine's basic running programme. The mild-blue hedgehog had officially hit a dead-end with his invention. In theory it worked perfectly, the programming ran properly and did what it was meant to so it should be able to transform the flesh of a mobian into robotic parts. But without official testing in was just that... A theory. Charles had always been a brilliant mind and everything he built had always worked perfectly for him before but the mild-blue hedgehog knew that he did not have the stomach nor the heart to brave testing his machine out.
Which was why he was planning on handing it over to Dr Ivo Kintobor. Charles knew that somewhere deep down in his gut there was something off about that guy but unfortunately he also knew that the human was the only other brilliant mind left living in the city. Warlord Kintobor might have the mind and will to authorise and do what he could not, test his machine out on a willing test subject. The mild-blue hedgehog wished he were brave enough to test his own creation but he knew that there was a possibility of his machine malfunctioning and he could not live with himself if someone was harmed in the testing, even if they were willing. Perhaps he was a coward not to test it himself but he would rather be a coward than ruin someone's life..
Charles closed his eyes before a strange yet faint noise hit his pointed ears making them twitch curiously. His little brother Jules was supposed to be helping him transport the machine but he had not yet shown up, probably distracted by whatever he and his wife were up to now. The sound of Aleena's distant giggling followed the strange noise and the eldest Hedgehog brother found his curiosity peaked.
What were they up to?
Deciding to investigate why the mild-blue hedgehog headed up the basement stairs and his answer came as soon as he arrived outside.
"Your trying too hard dear, it's about balance.." Aleena was saying looking pityingly at her husband in the dirt.
"I will get it..." Jules muttered irritably pulling himself up from the ground, not caring that his bright red vest was almost as grubby as his maroon combat-boots. "I'll give this one last shot before I help Charlie with his-" Jules immediately broke off seeing his older brother now stood looking at him from the back door and instantly the cobalt-blue twenty-one year old hedgehog flashed a sheepish grin. "H-hey Charlie-Boy, I was just about to help you out, honest! Just let me try this thing one last time and I'm right with you.." He added with a hint of a plea in his voice, it mirrored in his hazel eyes along with the determination to finish what he had started.
"Alright, fine Jules, knock yourself out.." Charles rolled his pale-blue eyes before turning to his lilac-furred sister-in-law who was still smiling widely at her husband.
"Darling, just relax and focus on your balance." Aleena said trying to be helpful and pushing an unruly lock of blonde away from her green eyes.
"What is it he is trying to do?" Charles asked curiously watching his little brother stand perfectly still with his eyes closed.
"You'll see.." The lilac-furred hedgehog flashed a secretive smile not wishing to give the game away. The next moment Jules started to spin at high speed velocity on the spot, wobbling unstably looking like some rouge unbalanced neon-blue mini-tornado.
"W-Whoa..." The cobalt-blue hedgehog's voice cried out as he spun in small circles trying not to fall in the dirt yet again.
"Find your centre Jules.." Aleena sounded following her husband's progress with her green eyes. "Just keep your balance and your spins tight.." She added as she lifted her fingers now wincing looking a little nervous as he continued to wobble. "Come on sweetheart, focus.."
"Aw.. oh.." Jules continued to spin uncontrolled, meandering dangerously towards his older brother trying to control his turns. Charles backed off a little looking surprised at Aleena.
"Why is he doing this?" The eldest Hedgehog brother asked.
"Heh, you mean this?" Aleena asked before performing the high-speed spin perfectly before stopping then brushing the dirt off her pretty mint-green sun-dress. "He wanted to learn how to do it and he promised to teach me to fight. I agreed to teach him and with his speed and strength he should be able to make more use of it than I can.." The Princess of Mobius broke off as at this moment Jules hurtled straight into his brother and the two of them landed in a heap on the ground.
"Oof... Heh, sorry Charlie... L-lost my focus..." Jules muttered looking embarrassed as he pulled himself up off of his older brother and got to his feet then held a hand out to the mild-blue hedgehog lying in the dirt.
"Hehe, well he can make better use of it when he figures out how to balance.." Aleena giggled girlishly before extending her slim arms and helping Charles up too.
"Maybe you should try and employ some of your Mobijitzu training into it.." The mild-quilled hedgehog grunted allowing his family to help him up.
"Huh. I never thought about that.." Jules responded vaguely as he thought about it before smiling and flashing the chip in his tooth. "Thanks Charlie I'll try that next time. So where are we taking your invention anyway.." The cobalt hedgehog added with a smirk.
"We're taking it to Dr Kintobor so he can run some tests on it.." Charles said brushing the dirt off himself.
"You can't run those tests yourself?" Aleena kinked a brow confused wondering why he wanted to give his machine to the human warlord. Jules Hedgehog too was looking curious as to why his brother suddenly wanted to give his machine to another scientist.
"I...I don't want to.." Charles sounded rubbing the sleeve of his green sweater. "I can't... I-if something goes wrong I won't forgive myself.."
"Charlie.." Jules immediately sounded looking concerned. "Your inventions have never failed before, why would it now?" His hazel eyes continued to study his brother's face. "You designed this thing for a reason, don't you want to see it through?"
"I don't know... Jules, I think you were right when you said I built it out of guilt over our dad's death.." Charles replied with a heavy sigh rubbing his head. "Besides I don't have the stomach to do the tests, that's why I must hand it over to Doctor Kintobor he's the only one left who will understand my invention and be able to proceed with the testing."
"But what about Lionel?" Jules kinked a brow confused. "Couldn't he do it?" Immediately the mild-blue hedgehog shook his head and bristled his pale-blue moustache.
"He doesn't know the material and it would take too long to catch him up. Besides I always got the feeling he kinda disapproved of it anyway. Doctor Kintobor is the only one smart enough to understand how this machine works, he is a scientist of robotics.." Charles said plainly. "I'm not sure I'm comfortable with my machine going into his hands Jules but he is the only one that can take this further.."
"Ok..." Jules replied after a moment's silence, digesting all of this new information. "If you carry the base platform, the control panel and all the tech-stuff in the sidecar of your motorcycle I can carry the glass cylinder transformation chamber for you." He looked unsure about this whole thing but he wasn't going to argue with his brother.
"Sure, I'll start loading the sidecar.." Charles replied moving passed his brother and heading back inside. Aleena stepped up to her husband and kissed his lips softly.
"Take your communicator and call me when you boys are on your way home." She nuzzled his nose with hers. "I might go and check on Alicia while your out. With Maximilian away on his tour of duty she could use a friendly face.."
"Sure. She'll like that. I hear her morning sickness is pretty bad at the minute so take her some crackers and a sympathetic ear." Jules smiled nuzzling his wife back. "I'll call, I promise but I better go.." Immediately the cobalt-blue hedgehog pulled back from Aleena and headed inside after his brother.
"Doctor Charles! Sir Jules!" Ivo smiled widely from his white swivel-seat as he turned to greet the two Hedgehog brothers who had entered his huge laboratory. "Long time no see my young friends. How is our princess? Doing well I trust.." He twiddled his long orange bushy moustache as a twinkle glinted in his dark spectacles.
"She's fine.." Jules replied stiffly before turning to Charles muttering, "I'll get your stuff.." He threw Doctor Kintobor a distrustful look before walking out of the laboratory. Ever since being surrounded by SWATbot guards in Hedgington Hall the cobalt-blue hedgehog had become really unsure of the human scientist. He did not like the idea of the entire royal security being overseen by cold ruthless machines, especially since Dr Kintobor was in complete control of them. Surely King Ogilvie the Third should be in charge of his own security? While Jules began unloading the sidecar and bringing the invention inside the laboratory Dr Ivo's interest was peaked.
"Oh-Hoh! What's this you've brought me Charles? Something you have been tinkering with, hmm?" As the younger hedgehog brother did all the heavy lifting and began setting up the parts of the elder hedgehog brother nodded.
"It's my Robotic Transformation Machine. It should be operational but I haven't done any tests, that's why I brought it to you Ivo." Charles said as Jules began setting up the platform and linking it it to the control panel which he had resting on the workbench. He may not fully understand the technology itself but his engineering diploma and his years sticking his oar into his brother's business had taught him enough so he could fix the invention together. He then left again to retrieve the glass chamber leaving his brother and the doctor talking.
"Tests? Can't you construct those yourself Charles?" The human scientist sounded as he towered over the twenty-four year old hedgehog. "Your more than capable, I have seen some of your transcripts you have quite the brilliant mind.." His voice was soft and laced with curiosity as his brows raised. He seemed to be studying the young hedgehog curiously.
"I just can't stomach the thought of something going wrong, I.." The mild-blue hedgehog started to explain before pausing as surprise hit his pale-blue eyes and he blinked at Ivo Kintobor. "Wait, you've read my transcripts? How?"
"He-hehe... You'd be surprised thing things I have access to Charles.." The human scientist grinned widely as he adjusted the yellow cuff of his red jacket with one white-globed hand then preened his long moustache. The human then turned towards Jules who was now fixing the glass chamber into position over the platform. "So tell me, what exactly does this machine do?" His spectacle-covered eyes ran over the complex control panel with interest.
"I designed it to be used for medical benefits, to help those with injuries to serious to fix. Instead of implants or bionic parts it will completely transform the body from flesh and bone into metal and circuits.." Charles said seriously and immediately Doctor Ivo's face dropped in shock and awe, this was a concept he had never dreamed of. Turning a mobian into a robot. Now why had he never considered that before? Droves and droves of mindless slaves for him to use...
"He's tweaked Charlie-Boy.." The sound of Jules' voice brought Doctor Kintobor out of his thoughts and back to the room to see the cobalt-blue hedgehog smirking, having completed building the machine. "Think you lost a patient doc.."
"I'm not that kind of doctor and you know it Jules.." Charles sighed heavily.
"It's brilliant Charles!" Ivo's voice suddenly declared brightly. "Do you have your operator with you?" He was looking keenly at the machine rubbing his hands together.
"Yes, everything is here.." Charles pulled out the zipdisk that he had packed with his machine and passed it to Doctor Ivo who slipped it into his large console and immediately all the binary programming, advanced mathematical equations and computer function commands popped up onto the screen.
At this moment Jules' communicator began to light up and ring causing the cobalt-blue hedgehog to pull it out of his pocket and excuse himself from the laboratory.
"Ah... This is all very impressive Charles, I see you have used an advanced Zyntix operator. I would like to study this if you don't mind. If I find any flaws in your programming it would be best if they were discovered and fixed sooner rather than later in testing, don't you agree?" The human scientist sounded amiably towards the younger hedgehog.
"Yes of course, do what you have to do Doctor Kintobor. I wouldn't want anybody to be harmed." Charles replied earnestly. "Does this mean you will run the tests for me?"
"It may take me some time to check over your work Charles but I will do as you ask.." Doctor Ivo Kintobor replied with a twisted smile that flashed his large white teeth. On the surface he seemed friendly but underneath his quick mind was already processing how he could harness this brilliant piece of technology that had just been handed to him.
"Thank you Doctor.." Charles shook his hand and turned as Jules returned to the laboratory pocketing his communicator looking serious.
"It seems we've been called in by General Prower. St John has a mission for us.." The twenty-one year old hedgehog replied.
"Oh.. That's right. Commander St John poached you boys out from my Army.." The human Warlord replied looking grimly as he studied the consoles holographic computer screen. "Hmph.. He's very protective over you Sir Jules. He seems to think I would want to put you in harms way.."
"And would you?" Jules kinked a brow with a suspicious frown. He disliked this guy more the longer he spent time in his company and was beginning to wonder if saving him had been worth the trouble.
"Your a good solider Jules, I don't have many of them left.." The human scientist replied with a vague tone that indicated this was the best answer he would get.
"Come on brother, you can call your wife on the way to the operations base.." Charles sounded turning and gripping his brother pulling him away before he could say anything else. "Good day Doctor Kintobor.." He added hauling his little brother away from the human scientist.
...Several months later...
The small shuttle flew through the wreckage that had formerly been downtown Mobotroplis. The debris from struggling battles of the months of struggles and raging battles was littered everywhere. Shards of broken glass scattered with broken timbres and brick rubble was all that lay of the crumbling ruins of their once glorious capital city. This seemed a normal sight for the agents of Specialist Tactics and Recovery, otherwise known as S.T.A.R. With the main war direction being controlled by Warlord Ivo Kintobor this small team of agents had been assembled by St John himself under the orders of King Ogilvie the Third and they were to only answer to the King. Their missions were kept a complete secret from the human scientist as the middle-aged commanding skunk-mobian did not trust his new Warlord and neither did any of the other team members.
The S.T.A.R agents had found themselves on yet another reconnoissance and recovery mission. Their fourth one in three weeks and these were never simple missions and often lasted days. King Ogilvie the Third and Commander Ian St John were both anxious about trying to track down many of those whom had gone missing over the war, there were many families and soldiers who had simply vanished. Whether they had been killed, taken prisoner or simply well hidden was unknown and it was the team's job to find out what had happened, report back and then try to bring them to one of the various safety points. They never had much information to go on just whatever Intelligence St John and General Prower had managed to pull from the surveillance probes and agents on the field, so knowledge on their last whereabouts was scarce. Even so, they needed answers and it was up to this small taskforce to find them.
In the driving seat of the shuttle was Sherman Walrus Cheif Mechanical Engineer, General Prower had recruited him not only because he was the best in his field but he was also the fastest driver in the entire Mobian Army. The fact that he was a friend of Sir Jules himself was a bonus as Ian St John had charged General Amadeus Prower with keeping the Princess of Mobius' consort safe from harm. This was something he was taking very seriously and the mobians he had hired reflected this, they all knew Jules Hedgehog on some personal level. Charles sat beside his brother reading a book on medical care. With the help of General Prower the mild-blue hedgehog had passed his First Aid and Medic Tests meaning that he was a qualified medic as well as a communications officer making him a valuable team member, not that his vast intellect and ingenuity didn't count. Sitting beside Jules was Sargent Argus Fletcher, former Captain of the Royal Guard. The cobalt-blue hedgehog had been surprised yet delighted to see his old friend had been recruited. Apparently Argus had made an impassioned speech about wishing to fulfil his Royal Guard duty and protect the Princess' consort and General Prower, knowing first hand what a skilled officer he was had accepted him instantly. Already out in the field was Private Sleetus Wolf with Private Derwood Dingo, at first they seemed an odd choice but but the cunning young wolf's ability to think and track mobians proved valuable. The orange-furred dingo had recently been exposed to radiation from a damaged Overlander vehicle, although Mobotroplis' small team of doctors were unsure what kind of power source their enemies used. The exposure had made the dingo's body structure somewhat unstable, he not only had enhanced strength from the accident but his body could now change form. He had been given the all clear after a short quarantine period when the medical team had deemed his 'condition' safe, meaning he wasn't going to infect others. He had found himself transferred into S.T.A.R who thought his new abilities could be useful and reunited him with his friend and comrade. Both boys were young but they had shown great promise and a surprising amount of respect and loyalty towards their former lieutenant, it seemed that Sleetus felt that he had a debt to pay Sir Jules for saving his life in the Great Forest Siege.
The only female sitting in the shuttle was Alicia Acorn with a slight baby bump. She was perched by Sherman Walrus studying a holographic map. All her years working as a secretary in the Mobian Council Building she had become very knowledgable on the city's plans, no-one knew the city layout better than her. After excelling in her combat training and impressing General Prower with her fighting skills against the Overlanders the red-headed chipmunk had now been recruited as S.T.A.R's navigation officer.
"General we're here.." The soft brown-furred chipmunk sounded lifting her sapphire eyes from the map and looking around the map as Sherman Walrus manoeuvred the van into a cavernous gap in the wreckage of the city and parked, hiding it from plain sight.
"Alright men.." General Prower said bracingly getting up from his seat and walking up the centre of the shuttle with his hands behind his back.
"And lady.." Alicia chimed in brightly from the passenger seat in front.
"And lady.." A brief smile broke his serious expression at her daring before he returned sombre and he continued. "I don't need to tell you this mission dangerous. We are deep within enemy lines here so remain sharp. Now St John received word from Sleet that movement was spotted in the probes of sector twenty-three which should be just over the northern ridge.."
"Sector twenty-three?" Argus queried unsurely.
"It used to be Green Hill's Shopping District before it was destroyed.." Alicia answered instantly slipping on the wireless headset.
"You are to rendezvous with Wolf and Dingo who have been tracking the individual.. Due to their coverings neither probes nor the two junior officers have been able to identify whether this is a mobian or an Overlander. Proceed with caution but try to apprehend the individual we need to move them off the battlefield, only then will we know how to proceed." General Prower remained serious as he opened the hatch door to the shuttle. "I want constant communication.." He added eyeing Jules with a stern sky-blue eyes, the hedgehog had a brilliant mind for tactics but he tended to move with his feet and heart first.
"Yes sir.." The cobalt hedgehog said automatically as he swiftly assembled his laser rifle at break-neck speed then proceeded to snatch both his brother's and Argus' off of them and assemble them too. He then jumped out the shuttle with a wide smile. "Come on let's hustle.."
"Just be careful.." General Prower added as Charles and Argus followed Jules who frowned and drummed his foot impatiently as he waited for them already getting bored.
"While we're young!" He added tersely.
"We will.. Don't worry." Argus added jumping out of the shuttle.
"We're not all as fast as you Jules.." Charles responded to his younger brother as he climbed out the shuttle unsurely and headed over at a calm walking pace knowing this would annoy him further. General Prower then shut the shuttle hatch behind the three soldiers.
"Way to state the obvious Charlie-Boy.." The cobalt hedgehog added with a deadpan expression. He then swivelled his wrist communicator then put in his earpiece with mini-microphone. "Alice have you managed to get in contact with Sleet for co-ordinates?" He asked her through the mouth-piece.
"Yes Juice, I'll send them to your communicator now.." Her voice sounded clearly through the ear piece, the cobalt hedgehog then checked the co-donates sent to him.
"Alright gents, this is where we're headin'.. Now hold onto your weapons and I'll deliver us lickity-split.." Jules grinned gripping both Charles and Argus around the middle and speeding off with them in tow.
"Jules I haven't heard you say that since you were delivering pizzas.." Charles smiled fondly at his little brother as his words made him reminisce.
"Heh, I know.. Been what? Six years..." Jules sighed keeping his sharp eyes on where he was going. "Seems like a whole other lifetime ago."
"So where did you see them last Sleet?" Jules asked Sleetus Wolf once he had arrived at the make-shift base he and Dingo had been using. The clever young wolf had found a half caved in shop and after Dingo had cleared the rubble and secured the roof from further collapse Sleet had set up an undamaged holo-computer he had managed to salvage. He had also managed to somehow fix the power source generator and salvage seats and a table. It was all very impressive. At this moment Charles fished a set of binoculars out of his backpack and Argus checked his ammunition.
"Two clicks to the east. They don't appear to know where they a going.." The grey-furred wolf-mobian said. "By their size I would say they are a mobian but they keep trying evade the probes and since Dingo and I can never see his face we can't be sure.." He added lightly running a hand through the blue fur on his head.
"Well hopefully they will show up soon and we will get a chance to ID them." The cobalt hedgehog replied. "Charlie, you and Sleet set up surveillance. Patch into the local probes and hopefully our mystery being will run into one soon. We just have to hang tight until then.." Jules then took the binoculars from his brother and passed them to Derwood Dingo. "Keep an eye out, just in case they show up here."
"Aye, aye sire.. I mean sir.." Dingo replied taking the binoculars before turning to look out from their makeshift base in the wreckage of the city.
"You won't manage to hack into the probes.." Sleet was saying to Charles as the older Hedgehog brother took charge of the console. "I have tried many times but the security is tight.." The teenage wolf sighed feeling the slight sting of failure.
"Well I know a few tricks, let's see if I have more luck.." Charles said brightly and instantly began tapping away at the keys. After a few minutes of trying the security walls began to fall away under his white-gloved fingers. "He-he.. Nothin' to it.." The mild-blue hedgehog laughed to himself as he brought up the multitude of probe cameras appeared on the screens.
For a long moment Sleetus Wolf looked stunned.
"Wow.. That was impressive." He sounded then turned to Charles in awe. "Would you teach me how to do that?"
"Huh? Oh sure. It's a piece of cake once you understand the firewalls.." The mild-blue hedgehog bristled his light-blue moustache. "But first, let's see if the probes have picked up anything in the last few hours that can help us figure out where our friend might turn up next."
"Oh. I know how to do that.." Sleet added keenly and immediately the wily young wolf leant over Charles and began hitting the keys in a sequence revealing the last few hours of footage before the cloaked figure appeared on the screen of probe camera three. "That's him!" Sleet added pausing the footage revealing a short figure in a long blue cloak running down a path in the wreckage.
"How do you know it's a he?" Charles asked Sleet curiously.
"The last time Dingo and I were in pursuit of him he tripped and let's just say his voice is too low to be any kind of woman I ever heard." The wolf replied.
"Yeh.. Plus girls don't really swear either.." Dingo added from his lookout point.
"I see.." Charles added as both Jules and Argus arrived to look at the computer screen.
"Hey, that's seventh street where Lickity-Split Pizzas is.." Jules said brightly. "That's not too far from here."
"What direction were they heading in? Maybe we can second guess them and cut them off.." Argus added keenly.
"That's a great idea." Jules snapped his fingers. "What you got for me?"
"Well it looks like he is heading towards what used to be Mobotroplis Central Park.." Sleetus said pointing out the path.
"But that place is still a battlefeild!" Argus sounded alarmed. "What's left of the Overlander forces are still at war with our main forces.."
"Then I guess I'll just have to juice ahead and force our friend into retreat then you guys nab him.." Jules declared brightly.
"If you can track him for us Charles Dingo and I can lay an ambush.." Sleet said keenly.
"Sure thing Sleet, that won't be a problem if you can shoot him with this LoJack pin.." The mild-blue hedgehog held out a minuscule dart pin to Argus.
"That won't be a problem.." The yellow-furred wolf-mobian with a quaff of long red fur on his head grinned taking the dark.
"Then let's nab our friend.." Jules gave a wolfishly grin.
"Gotcha!" Dingo declared loudly grabbing the short cloaked figure as the S.T.A.R agents plan went off without a hitch.
"Brilliant job Dingo!" Sleet said as he ran over to his dim-witted partner.
"You really think so?" The orange-furred dingo with a flop of long yellow fur on his head asked with a smile.
"I concur, knew you two could pull this off.." Jules sounded as he screeched to a halt in front of the pair. "Now let's see who this guy really is!" He turned his attention towards the being wrestling with Dingo's tight grip and the cobalt hedgehog then reached for the hood of his cloak that was covering his face.
"No... Lennie go you brute! I don't want to be associated with you animals..." The young male voice declared before letting out a girlish squeak as his hood was lowered. Gasps from the mobians around him sounded instantly.
"He's an Overlander.." Sleet looked stunned.
"He's really small for an Overlander." Dingo added lifting him higher with one hand. "Aren't they usually bigger?"
"I have a growth deficiency.. Now put me down you savage!" The three foot teenage human said sharply.
"Ok.. No need to be rude about it.." Dingo snorted immediately dropping him unceremoniously at Jules' feet.
"What are you doing in this side of town kid, don't you know you were heading towards a war zone?" Jules asked immediately helping the human to his feet.
"I was? Oh.. G-good thing you stopped me. If my father caught me trying to run away again.." The young human shivered nervously. "H-he always was disappointed in me.."
"Hmph.. Daddy issues huh?" Sleet snorted at this information thinking of his own father.
"We can relate.." Jules added with a friendly smile patting his back. "What's your name short man?"
"It's C-Colin... Colin Robotnik..." He stuttered nervously trembling a little.
"What are we going to do with him?" Sleet asked.
"He's a run away. We can't throw him back to the Overlanders they'll probably eat him alive for his desertion." Jules stated then rubbed his clean-shaven chin. "I guess we'll just have to take him to Ivo and see if he knows him.."
"Ivo..." Colin seemed to perk up brightly. "You know my uncle Ivo? He is alright?" The young human asked immediately looking hopefully at the cobalt hedgehog with hazel eyes.
"Yeh, we'll take you to him. Lemmie just radio my General.."
Little Notes:
Hey guys.. I can only apologise for my late response. I know you've been reading so I'm not surprised about the no reviews... I can tell it's kinda disappointment so I can take it I'ma big girl..
Anyway, as you an tell lots was happening in this chapter, too much to write unfortunately.. Did a bit of cramming in this chap. I know what you want but I promise it is happening soon, babies Sally, Manic and Sonic are all on the way just be patient..
Ok, so the idea of S.T.A.R was just something I pulled together because it seemed like a natural move and besides these kind of recon missions do happen, they always want to try find information to tell family and seek closure. I know what your thinking and I notice too that S.T.A.R is close to Resident Evils S.T.A.R.S but the two teams are completely different, for starts my guys are not special police officers that were later hired by Umbrella.
Have you guys missed Sleet and Dingo? I have! Love those guys.. They play a somewhat important role considering their future but the life debt Sleet feels he owes to Jules Hedgehog is somewhat important for the sequel. They must be my favourite out of all Robotnik/Eggman's henchmen!
And I told you at the start to expect a familiar face! It's Snively! Don't get used to him though he won't be here long. This is a Sonic Underground verse and you guys know that Snively isn't around when Sonic is a team... What will happen to him?
...Wait and see!
