Fairy Tail Minus One Chapter 23:The Power of Tartarus
(A/N: Cue in the inevitable beatdown of the heroes Mid Arc.)

The full moon was over the skies of the burning Bei village as the previous battles we had with the brainwashed soldiers caused the city to go up into flames. Hundreds of villagers were slain by the mind-controlled soldiers from Bosco and Fiore's royal armies as well as Seven. The Taurus demons had enough power to control a small army on their own and send them powered up far beyond an average soldiers strength to take out the village and us with them, luckily we defeated them and saved all 1,000 of the brainwashed soldiers while allowing the surviving villagers to flee into the surrounding villages and towns in the countryside. Now came the real problem, the demons standing over us, 11 of the 12 Demon Gates were standing on Bei Circles Hedge and were looking down on us.
"You, you're the bastard who poisoned my family, how did you survive that? I thought I killed you?"Irene shouted at Tempester.
"It's simple, us Ehterious can keep coming back from the dead after a while. As long as the core of our existing, we can be revived from the dead indefinitely however it takes a while for us Etherious to be revived from the dead." Tempester explained to Fairy 12 how they survived.
"Princess Eclair looks like we found you at last." Mard Geer said to the princess of the Bei Tribe.
"Mard Geer! So you are the dark prince behind all this?" Victor asked the stoic calm demon king.
"Pleasure meeting you again Victor, I must attempt our rebellion didn't end like I hoped last time around. Not that it matters, I ceased being a human being at this point, I've ascended to the power of the demons as everyone here has. You stand between us and the two pieces needed to achieve our goals." Mard Geer explained his plans to us calmly. "Our goal is to take your daughter and the Princess of the Bei tribe and use them for sacrifices to our goal of creating END. To unlock the Infinity Clocks' true power, we need a virgin sacrifice of a Celestial Mage of great power and to revive the great Phoenix, we must sacrifice a virgin of pure heart and hidden power to the flames of the Almighty Phoenix. Only then can we contain the power of both the Phoenix and the Clock into the Sacred Tenoru Orb and combine the power so we can fight END." Mard Geer explained the plan to the Fairy 12.
"So that's your plan? Trying to use me to get the keys. Good luck getting the Clock Pieces, we won't let you." Irene shouted at them.
"As if we would let you get the clock pieces, the sacrifice is useless unless you know where the clock pieces are at." Victor stated.
"Not a problem Pope, your daughter knows the locations." Mard Geer replied.
"How do you know?" Victor asked, shocked that they know.
"Because you've been grooming her to be your successor since day one, you wanted to achieve Sara Heartfilla's goal that she never achieved on her own. I know this because this is what you told me Victor, you backstabbing snake."Kyouka explained to him.
"Backstabbing snake?" Irene asked, wondering what she met.
"DON'T YOU DARE INSULT MY FATHER LIKE THIS!" Anna shouted at them as she charged up energy in her hand.
"Your father left us to die because of our sins but that's neither here nor there, we're here to take you alive Anna Heartfilla along with that Bei Tribe Princess." Kyouka stated.
"OVER OUR DEAD BODIES! Anna Heartfilla is our ally, we won't surrender her to you!" Irene shouted replying to Kyouka.
"We won't give up a comrade!" Erenjack shouted.
"You have to kill all of us to get her!" Lena replied as she readied her sand to attack.
"We're going to make sure you demons are nothing but stains on the floor!" Veronica shouted.
"I'll be damned if i die here !" Lexiel replied as he bulked up.
"We're going to stop your reign of terror." Eric said to the demons.
"And make sure you never haunt anyone again." Rick replied.
"Isn't that precious? Humans making their last stand here, doesn't that amuse you Seilah?" Kyouka giggled, not taking us seriously.
"Hardly, it's foolish to think even the mightiest of humans can stand up to us much less beat us." Seilah replied as she read her book.
"Enough talk, i want to blow these stupid humans to bits already!" Jackal laughed as he was hungry for battle.
"And I want to chop and slice something, Mard Geer give me the orders."Zeikel laughed as he clasped his four hands together making sounds similar to blades colliding.
"Go right ahead but don't kill the Bei Tribe Princess or Anna Heartfilla, everyone else, dispose of them as you please, including the Pope of Zentopia and the Queen of Dragons. Make sure they are the first to die!" Mard Geer commanded the demons.
"Right!" The demons replied.
"Eclair get out of here now." Irene shouted at her.
"Right, Grandpa, get me and father out of here." Eclair stated.
"Will do !" Eilciar's Grandpa replied as he goes to teleport Eliciar away from the village with the father.
"Isn't that cute, they teleported out of here." Franmalth laughed.
"Leave that to me, they can't escape my nose or my speed."Jackal laughed as he dashed after them only for Lexiel to punch her in the face and send him flying into a building. Jacki coughed up blood as the punch knocked out several of his teeth.
"Not going anywhere are you?" Lexiel smirked only to see Jackal get back up smiling."What the, why are you smiling? Like the taste of your blood?" he mocked "If that's all you got, you are not going to last long."
"Foolish human, i'm smirking because you don't realize what you just did. I won't lie, that punch hurt like hell however.."Jackal laughed as Liexel's hand glows with bright light as his arm explodes, however, while the arm is intact, it had bad second degree burns.
"ARRGH!"Lexiel shouted as he held onto his injured right arm glaring at the demon.
"Foolish human, anyone who touches me turns into a living bomb. My curse has the power to turn anything I touch into a bomb. If i touch a building, it blows up, if a wall touches me, it goes boom too. I can even turn a mountain into a volcanic eruption or a whole city into a crater. "What a moron!" Jackal laughed only to see Anna charge up a blast towards him.
"Then we just don't have to touch you! Holy Ray!" Anna shouted as she shot a massive beam of light from her hands towards him.
"Ahh, Crap!" Jackal shouted only for Torafuzar to turn Etherious and defect it from his metallic body back at Anna.
"ARRGH!" Anna shouted as she's hit into a pillar by the force of her attack back at her.
"My daughter!" NOW YOU'VE DONE IT!" Victor said he exploded with rage and dashed towards them only for Mard Geer to surround him with his thorn curse and launch thorns at the Pope.
"Your fight is with me." The prince of the underworld said to the Pope of Zentopia as he protected Torfauzar and Jackal from harm.
"Don't drop your guard Jackal, we're here to end this as quickly as possible, turn Etherious form." Torafuzar said to him.
"Let me handle the Pope's daughter while you fight that Pipsqueak." Franmalth said to Jackal.
"Damn, i want to play with my food some more! Oh well, sorry kids, you gotta die now, i wanted to toy with you some more but fuck it, time for all you to die !" Jackal laughed as he turned into his Etherious form however before he could Lena engulfs him within Sand.
"Not in your life! Ant Lion Pit!" Lena chanted as she tried to bury the Jackal fiend underground however he blasts through the ground easily within his Etherious form"It didn't work!" Lena shouted shocked to see him completely unharmed.
"Nice try sand girl but let me show you how futile your efforts are."Jackal laughed as he moved so fast Lena didn't even see him move before she was punched in the stomach and with the explosive force send flying across the entire village, being the first to be knocked out of the battle.
"LENA!" Irene and Erenjack shouted as they went to attack Jackal with their Melee Weapons towards Jackal.
"Bomb Spiral!" Jackal chanted as he swung his arms, creating explosions, repelling the two of them back from him. Erejack recovered and goes to do his attack against Jackal.
"Metal Make: Sword Storm!" Erenjack chanted as he summoned hundreds of swords made from liquid metal to solidify into swords and rain against Jackal however his swords were reflected towards him by Selah and he's hit with his word swords, knocking him back and one impaling his stomach, he was the second to fall to the sword that day.
"Erenjack!" Irene shouted as she saw Selaih just reading her book, she had the power to control objects with her mind. Irene got pisssed and charged towards Seliah with her blade only for Kyouka to block with her claws.
"Not so fast my pretty, she's mine." Kyouka smirked as she parried her strikes with her claws.
Linda seeing Erenjack pissed goes to attack Jackal.
"Linda PISSED YOU HURT ERENJACK! YOU DIE!" She shouted as she shot a massive blast of water from her hands to engulf Jackal. Jack struggles to move within it.
"Damm, this is searing hot! This bitch pissed. I can't move my hands."Jackal shouted as she was drowning"ENOUGH!" Jacka shouted as he blew up the water and punched Linda in the face but Linda smirked"What?"
"Blunt force attacks do not affect Linda's Water Body...Now drown for hurting Erejack!" Linda said to him as she engulfed Jackal around with her water body. Jackal was struggling to breathe. "Even Demons need to breathe, no matter if you're able to come back to life, I'll take it out ." Linda said to Jackal as he struggled to breathe only for Torfazuzar to get behind her and punch her from behind, actually hurting Linda"Impossible, my water body was damaged!" Linda shouted as she released Jackal from the water lock.
"Not a bad effort on your part, attempting to drown unfortunately for you as a Fish Demon, my curse controls water and turns all water into black carbon poison. However, i'm going to end you fast"Torafauzar said to Linda as she was coughing up blood from being was going to stomp on her head when he slashed by Irene who tried to slash him but his steel body made it hard to do so.
"What are you made of?" Irene shouted as she struggled to cut him.
"I'm made of a material you humans don't have, Steel. When you mix Carbon and Iron, you get steel which is even stronger than Iron."Torafuzar explained to her as he tried to attack her with his elbow blades but she dodges his attack She then drew her sword Homisgiaki No Satsuki and transformed it into her Hacodri Katana state and clashed with Kyouka attempting to sneak attack her.
"Not a bad queen, fighting the two of us at once. I admire your strength!" Kyouka smirked as she pushed her back, "However it's time I get serious too." Kyouka said to her as she turned into her Etherious form and powered up.
Irene tries to fight back however she's overwhelmed by Kyouka's speed as Kyouka appears behind her, in an instant, Irene is slashed across the chest.
"Impossible, she got so powerful!" Irene shouted as she struggled to stand only to be sucker-punched by Torafuzar who hits her with his steel fist knocking her to the ground, however, Irene gets back up and spits out a tooth knocked out. She then sees Temepster try to punch her from behind but she avoids them."I gotta take this fight more seriously" Irene said to herself as she then sees Jackal charging towards her.
"Dibs i'm killing the Dragon Queen!" Jackal shouted as he came close to punching Irene in the back of the head.
"Fairy Star Storm!" Nel shouted as she rained down magical blasts hitting Jackal down on the ground.
"RRAGH!" Humans managed to hurt me in Etherious form?"Jackal shouted.
"Not a human, a fairy. You're pretty fucked now aren't you, you have no way of hitting me while i'm in the air"Nel taunted as she was in Great Fairy Mode and flying.
Meanwhile, Irene blocks attacks from Torafuzar and Kyouka.
"Nice save there Fairy Queen." Irene said to Neliel.
"Don't get ahead of yourselfDragon Queen, the only one who kills you is me." Nel replied.
Meanwhile, Eric and Rick are fighting against Zeikel and Lullaby. Eric was fighting lullaby with his Arrow magic and Rick was using his sword magic against Zeikel, both demons were in Etherious Mode.
"Light Seeker!" Eric chanted as he fired a powerful Light arrow from his bow which homes onto Lullablly who was within his Etherious form and hits him dead on
"GRRR!" Lullaby screamed as he was badly hurt.
"Now to finish you!" He said to Lullaby as he aimed another arrow at home however he's stopped by Zeikel who knocks back Rick into him"Rick you're okay!" Eric said to him as he saw Ezikel in his Etherious form with his forearm form.
"Chop, chop, chop, slice, slice, slice" Zeikel laughed as he charged at Rick and Eric.
"Darkness Slash!" Rick chanted as he slashes at Zeikel with his powerful Katana, hitting Ezekiel, but his sharp blade arm catches the blade.
"Pathetic, your blade fails to compare to mine" Zeikel laughed as he moves his arms "Juzumaru (数珠丸 Juzumaru)" Zeikel chanted as he swung his arms, creating a slashing shockwave, easily defeating Rick.
"RICK!" Eric shouted as he went to aim an arrow at Eikel only for Lullaby to appear in front of him.
"Death Melody" Lullaby screeched as he fired an immensely powerful sonic blast that blasts Eric away.
Meanwhile, Seliah was sitting there watching Kyouka where Lexiel in Titan form and Veronica charge at her with Verocina charging up her blasts while Lexiel goes for his attack.
"How good is your arm Lexiel?" Veronica asked him.
"I had worse, still hurts but not able to slow me. "Titan Fist!" Lexiel chanted as he swung his enraged fist to hit Seilah from the front
"Holy Light Beam!" Veronica chanted as she goes into a prayer pose and shot a beam of light at Seilah from behind however she uses her Macro to redirect the attack back at each other, hitting the two with their attacks, Veronica instantly knocked out by Lexiel's punch and Lexiel knocked back a bit by the blast. Veronica was the third to fall to the might of Tartarus.
"What the hell?" Lexiel shouted only to notice he can't move his body.
"It's useless to resist, no matter how mighty you are, no one can control their mind. Now time to help me write a story, a story on how the second strongest man in your group betrays his comrades and is forced to fight against them."Seilah said calmly as she read a book's Lexiel was under her control.
"DAMN YOU!"Lexiel shouted as he was being forced to attack Anna directly as he headed towards her.
"Clever move Anna, exploiting Franmalth's weakness unable to absorb physical matter, hence you're trying to divert time so Virgo can get a massive boulder from the nearby mountains to ambush and take out Franmalth, sorry but your plan isn't clever enough, as long as i can read minds, your plans are useless." Seliah said to herself as she calmly read a book near the Phoenix fire.
Anna meanwhile was having her troubles as she was fighting against Franmalth and struggling to do so as he kept absorbing his attacks. Anna kept evading his many punches directed at her however that's all she can do. Frammamlth absorbed Aires and Taurus and was coming at her with two axes in each hand.
"Damn, his power is very annoying to deal with! I gotta destroy him with a powerful Holy spell but as long as he keeps absorbing all my strikes and even my Spirits, all I'm doing is feeding him, even more, do I beat something like this?" Anna said to herself.
"You're not too shabby human, however with my Curses, i can absorb energy and also make myself stronger in the process, shame i can't add your soul into the growing collection of souls, Oh well masters orders, you're near spent on magical power anyways." Fnramalth said to Anna as she was running low on power.
"Don't celebrate just yet!" Anna smirked as she had Virgo above him in the air with a Giant rock the size of a hill.
"Got what you wanted, master!" Virgo smirked as she was about to smash the massive boulder on Franmalth with all her might only to see the boulder get shattered with a massive titan fist from exile with Virgo hit by the punch and knocked down on the ground and dispelled back the Celestial World.
"Whoa, that was close!"Franmalth sweated.
"Lexiel, WHAT THE HELL" Anna shouted.
"I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF RUN!" Lexiel shouted as he came down to sweep his hand to grab her bot Loki saves her.
"Anna, He's being controlled by the demons." Loki said to her.
"They can control someone that powerful? Just how powerful are they?" Anna asked shocked to see Lexiel under the control.
"Another spirit to make into part of me!" Frammalth smirked only for Seilah to appear in his head
"Ignore her, Jackal is in trouble, use your powers to help assist him. As long as I have one of their own under control; they're nothing." Seilah explained to him.
Anna runs from Lexiel who's moving pretty fast in his titan form. Loki then goes to attack.
"Regulus Impact" Loki chanted as he shot a giant Lion shaped Light blast from his sword. However the blast barely even scratch Lexiel."Impossible, he's not even fazed. Just how powerful is he?" Anna shouted.
"RUN!" Leixel shouted as he goes to grab Anna only for Erenjack to stop Lexiel with his Metal make wall,
"Get away from here!" Erenjack shouted.
Kinata arrives with her cards ready to battle.
"Erenjack, Kinata Do something quick!" Leixel shouted as he struggled to move.
"I'll try! I'll go after the Demon controlling her, Kinata, get one of your cards to save him" Erenjack replied as he went to attack Seilah with his sword.
"Hopefully we get a good draw!" Kinata said to herself as she sees the giant Lexiel looming over them"I got one good one"
"You do?" Anna asked her.
"Right, go Ingeus the Lava Dragon '' Kinata chanted as she summoned a 3 story Lava dragon that stared down Lexiel. He had 4 Stars of attack and 4 Stars of defense.
The Lava dragon clashes with Lexiel and manages to hold him off with Leixel's hands burned by lava however he shrugs it off and battles the dragon creature.
Meanwhile, Nel is attacking Jackal who struggles to hit her.
"Stand still you bitch!" Jackal shouted as he was wounded trying to attack her.
"It's funny seeing you try to hit me, now time to end this. Great Fairy Shooting Star!" Nel chanted as she shot her powerful blast towards her.
"Connection" Franmalth chanted as he expands his hand into the air and absorbs the blast with his tendril.
"What?" Nel was shocked to see her blast absorbed by Franmalth.
"Ejection!"Franmalth countered as he fired a massive blast of Fairy Magic back at Nel catching her off guard. She was hit with her attack and fell down the ground out cold.
Meanwhile, Erenjack goes to attack Seilah directly with his weapon however he was stopped by a tentacle on his neck by Keyes.
"You're going nowhere" Keyes said to Erenjack as he wrapped the tentacle on his neck.
"URRRGH!"Erenjack shouted as he tried to break Keyes hold and went to stab him through the chest, directly hitting him"That was close." Erenjack said to himself only to notice Keye got back up."Impossible, how did you get back up."
"I'm nothing but bones for most of my body, nice try!"Keyes laughed as he revealed Erenjack hit through the ribcage and no vital organs. Erenjack then saw Zeikel behind him and slashed him from behind.
"Urgh!" Erenjack grunted as he fell to the ground out cold. He was out cold again
It was now a few people left, Irene was fighting against the might of Torafuzar and against Kyouka, Anna who was with Kinata fighting a brainwashed Lexiel, Victor Heartfilla and Kinata who was using her Monster cards to protect Anna.
Irene was struggling to keep up with Kyouka as she was moving too fast for Irene and she was struggling to cut Torafuzar who within his Etherious form was tanking most of her strikes. Kyouka swipes the ground creating a slashing wave Irene barely avoids while wielding her.
"Her power keeps growing, just what is she?" Irene said to herself as she saw Torafuzar come towards her with a strong punch.
"Deep Impact!" Torafuzar shouted as he knocked Irene back. Irene was barely able to block the punch
"My power keeps rising like an everlasting moon!" Kyouka said to Irene as she slashed the ground again creating another slashing wave.
Meanwhile, Mard Geer and Victor Heartfilla were fighting each other, Mard Geer despite his power was on the defensive against Victor two clashed blows as he was using his magic to battle the Etherious.
"You're still the same after all these years, Dark Prince! Just as twisted when you were a human" Victor said to Mard Geer as he clashed with the dark prince.
"Correction, I've become stronger than ever, I've gained enough power to take the world down on our hands. Soon this world will belong to Zeref and will belong to me I will return to Zeref with END, Kill my creator and then when all is said and done I will be King Mard Geer, the ruler of this world. I will then go to rule Heaven and Hell and become a god of this world" Mard Geer explained his plan to Victor.
"You speak of God as if he doesn't exist within the realm, even if you kill us, God would punish your soul." Victor said to him angered by his blasphemy.
"Once I create END, even the power of your god would mean very little. Us Eheterious are a fusion of Demons, fallen angels, Gods, and humans. Once the world is full of darkness, we would reach our potential." Mard Geer replied stoically.
"Uno Materia" Victor chanted as he blasted hundreds of blasts towards Mard Geer but Mar Geer uses the thorns to absorb the blasts.
"It's useless old man, the Thorn curse allows me to absorb magic from beings. How many times are you going to do the same attack on me!" Mard Geer said calmly only to see Victor behind him" What?"
"Deus Pugnus ( Latin for God's Fist) "Victor chanted as he punched Geer through a pillar killing him instantly with an aura of a giant golden fist. Victor then clasped his hands in prayer ." You're still as arrogant as ever Mard Geer, fatal mistake."
"Rose Explosion" Mard Geer chanted as with a simple swipe of his index and middle fingers, creates a rose composed of Curse Power directly at Victor, creating a large explosion in which Victor evades the attack.
"Angel's Messenger"Victor chanted as he summoned a group of small angels that had a round appearance with wing-like tails and a mouth full of sharp teeth that charged towards the Demon King but the dark prince countered with Rose explosions, canceling out their spells.
"Prison Flower" Mard Geer chanted as he summoned a large, monstrous flower covered with spikes and chains around its dark bulb.
"Sword of God!" Victor chanted as his hand cleanly chopped through the Prison Flower before it can swallow him with an aura of a sword from his chop.
Meanwhile, Irene noticed Kyouka and Torfauzar were focused on Mard Geer and Victor fighting.
"His power is amazing." Torafuzar said to Kyouka.
"Indeed, the same mage was able to fight me and Seilah with both of us in Etherious form, Mard Geer is fighting him without using his Etherious form, such is the power of the master." Kyouka replied.
'I got one shot at this, i gotta make it count!" Irene said to herself as she goes to charge up her power."Pedes Noctis Luis+Ira Del+Deus Bulla +Re Riase+Hachidori Katana: Wakeru Yama Tsubasa (ハチドリの刀分ける 山翼 Japanese for Humming Bird Sword: Dividing Mountain Wing )" Irene chanted as she closes her eyes and puts her sword in her state, she redraws the blade with enough force and slashes Torafuzar across the chest, cutting through his steel body.
"URGH!"Torafuzar grunted as he staggered to the ground, having a gash on him. He was still standing but trying to stop the bleeding.
"She cut through Torafuzar's body, not bad." Kyouka smirked. "Guess i have to get serious now!" Kyouka smiled as she licked her lips. She puts her hands in an x pattern and unleashes a shockwave that Irene blocked against.
'What is she doing!" Irene shouted as she noticed energy gathering around her."She's gathering energy from nature itself… I have to stop her"! Irene said to herself as she goes for her attack. She then sees Tempester appear to attack again.
"Cyclone!" Tempester chanted as he shot a massive blast at Irene at near point-blank rage but she sidestepped the blast and went for a counterattack.
"Hachidori Katana: Hane no Ame(ハチドリの刀 羽の雨 Japanese for Humming Bird Sword: Feather Rain)" Irene countered as she shoots hundreds of needles towards Tempester, knocking him down to the ground, however, Irene then sees Kyouka goes to attack Irene.
"Pain Bolt: Jupiter Lightning Storm" Kyouka chanted as she unleashed a massive Lightning wave that covered the entire Village and hit all of us at once.
"URRRAAGGH!" Irene screamed as she was hit by the immense pain and fell to her knees.
"ARRRGH!" Victor shouted as he is overwhelmed by pain and is then engulfed in thorns.
"VICTOR!" Irene shouted as she struggled to get back up
"ARRGH!" Anna and Kinata shouted as they fell to their knees, Kanata's spell with the Lava dragon was dispelled.
"GGRRACK!"Leixel shouted as he fell to the ground and shrunk back to normal.
"Looks like he's no longer needed!" Seilah said to herself as she closed her book and walked to Kyouka.
Victor, however, tried to break out of the vine.
"I won't go down like this!" Victor shouted.
"Thorn Explosion!" Mard Geer chanted as he exploded the thorns, damaging the Pope further while he's affected by Kyouka's curses."Thank you Kyouka but I could've handled this myself. Either Way, he's down." Mard Geer said to her telepathically.
"Thanks to me, we took out the strongest mages all at once. Now all that's left is Anna Heartfilla" Kyouka replied as Anna was now all alone, all of her comrades are down.
"This can't be happening….I'm all alone...Guys….We can't beat them!" Anna said to herself as she was getting panicked as she was now 10 to 1. "At least Eclair got away. I don't stand a chance against them, however, if i can kill at least one of them or allow us to escape"Anna said to herself "It's all or nothing, i must draw all my keys at once. I don't care if this kills me if I do nothing we lose anyways." Anna said to herself as she opened all her keys at once.
"NO ANNA, DON'T DO IT, YOU RISK DYING DOING THAT !" Veronica shouted
"STOP THIS AT ONCE DAUGHTER, MARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF?" Victor shouted
"What's going on? Why is she opening all her gates at once?" Irene asked her.
"This is a forbidden Celestial Spirit Magic technique, by forcing all of her gates to open, she would get a power increase proportional to the amount of Golden Celestial Spirits she has, however by doing this, she's guaranteed to die doing this. No Celestial Spirit Mage has survived using all of their spirits for battle. She's not even to be able to use all that power at once….MY BABY...NO" Victor explained to Irene while panicking about his daughter.
"OPEN ALL GOLDEN GATES!" Anna shouted as her aura glow golden as all 10 of her gates opened up.
"ANNA WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU'RE RISKING YOUR LIFE!"Loki shouted.
"I have no choice, we're outnumbered. We gotta do this!"Anna shouted only to clutch her chest."I don't know how long i got.. We gotta do this, if they capture me, it's game over. I rather die than be used for their purposes" Anna said to Loki.
"Just give us the orders...Hopefully, you can make it" Cancer said to her.
"Just the fact you're able to summon all of us makes you an incredible Celestial Spirit Mage." Aquarius said to her as Anna struggled to stand.
"Let's do this" Anna replied, shrugging off her wounds.
"Huh, what does she think summoning those small fries would do? They barely did shit before!"Jackal laughed only to see a powered up Virgo dash to him and kick him in the stomach, causing him to cough up blood and knock him to the edge of town.
"Unreal! Her power just skyrocketed, is that even the same Virgo from before?" Irene said to herself.
"No fucking way… That bitch was nowhere near that strong we fought...GARRICK! How the hell a Celestial Spirit Wizard is this powerful" Jackal said to himself as he can barely stand.
Anna, however, coughed up blood just having Virgo do a simple kick.
"Come on, don't do this…."Veronica pleaded to her.
"I have to….i have no choice!" Anna shouted as she saw Torafuzar come towards her but Loki punches him doing some damage to him with his Light slash from his sword, cutting his armored Etherious state with a scar matching the one Irene gave him.
"My Steel Body!" Torafuzar shouted as he staggered back only for Loki to swing his sword again.
"Regulus Impact!" Loki chanted as he swings a powerful blast of light hitting him dead on, burning his body and making Torafaukzar cough up blood. Anna coughed up blood too.
"She's putting a dent in their forces!" Lena stated.
"But how long can she hold out...Just her using a single attack from each Spirit is putting a drain on her...She's inching closer to death the more she uses that." Erenjack explained to Lena.
"How much more can she take?" Eric asked them.
"Anna…"Victor replied thinking of her.
Ezekiel goes to slash at Anna but Taraus and Socprio get in the way.
"Sandstorm Battle Axe!" Anna chanted as she has Scorpio and Taraus combined attacks to create a tornado that even Ziekel can't escape damaging the Demon pretty badly.
"I got this everyone, I nearly beat her before!" Franmalth stated as he tries to process Taurus again but he's slashed multiple times by Cancer, having 1,000 cuts on him and Taurus slashes him down with his ax while the Demon was staggered.
"Not this time buddy!" Tararus said to him.
"Damn, she's getting a lot stronger now."Tempester said to the other demons.
"We can be in serious trouble!" Lullaby stated.
"Allow me to handle her, you all stay back. If you fight her with everything you got, you risk killing her. I can do this myself!" Seliah said to the rest.
"All your Seilah!" Mard Geer replied.
"I have to say your spirits are quite impressive, to injure 4 Tatarus demons at once, impressive, but it's clear that your technique is forbidden for a reason. It's impressive you lasted this long, most mages would've died by now...your will to live is no doubt strong. However, this is where I end your second wind and write a new book on a new era of demons. " Etherious form, Goddess of the Chill Moon" Seilah also chanted as she transformed into her demon form.
"That form you used on your father?" Anna said to her as she struggled to stand.
"Yep, now time to see what the daughter of the Pope can do" Seilah replied as she almost hit Anna head-on with a punch aimed at her stomach but Loki takes the hit for her as the punch goes straight through Loki.
"LOKI!" Anna shouted as she's forced to go back to the Celestial Spirit world.
Satiarugs fires arrows at Seilah but Seilah dodges the arrows with ease and kicks him down.
"Ugh, She's too powerful!" Staraigus grunted as he went back to the Celestial Spirit world.
Virgo and Aries go to attack her with punches and kicks but Seliah effortlessly blocks both attacks with her palms and charges up a blast with both, blasting them back into the walls, forcing both back into the spirit world. Cancer goes to slash Seliah but she does a backup, decapitating the spirit and forcing him back into the Celestial Spirit world. Scorpio and Taurus come at her but she controls Taurus to slash down Scorpio, sending him to the Celestial Spirit World and then impaling Taurus through his chest with her hand, sending him to the Celestial Spirit World.
"She annihilated all the spirits with ease...All i have left is Gemini and Aquarius ...I have to think fast" Anna said to herself as she had trouble breathing and staying conscious.
"You have to stop this. There's nothing we can do… " Aquarius shouted.
"I got one more trick up my sleeve… i just need time, buy me that."Anna stated grunting as she clenched my chest.
"I'll do so!"Aquarius replied as she shot a massive blast of water towards Seilah trying to hold her back but Seilah countered with a blast of her own.
"Not bad but not good enough, LIMITER RELEASE!" Seilah countered as she made herself many times stronger than before and easily overpower Aquarius' attack.
"DAMN IT!" Aquarius shouted as she was blasted and sent back to the celestial spirit world.
"You're all out of tricks human, I suggest you give up." Seilah said to Anna only to see she's talking with a wool clone made by Aires and notices Anna and another Anna there charing their attacks.
"Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens...All the stars, far and wide...Show me thy appearance...With such Tetrabiblos... I am the ruler of the stars...Aspect become complete...Open thy malevolent 88 Stars of the heaven... Shine! Urano Metria!" Anna chanted with Gemini as they fire the attack towards all of Tartaros with hundreds of Light spears coming towards them
"So many spheres!" Seilah shouted as she tried to dodge some only to see several right next to her "Oh No!"
The entire village is engulfed in intense light.
"She did it…." Irene stated as they see steam everywhere.
"But at what cost?" Nel asked as she looked at the steam.
"DAUGHTER!" Victor shouted as he rushed to Anna as she collapsed to the ground.
"I can barely move...Am i alive father?" Anna asked.
"For now, we just need Eiclar to get them to heal." Victor answered.
"You mean her?" Brandman replied as he appeared with Eilcar over his shoulder and holding Kalard hostage.
"Impossible, EIlciar got teleported out of the village" Irene shouted,
"Thank god i know that technique too." Brandman said to them
"At least Anna vaporized the guild. We just have one demon " Erenjack stated only to get interrupted by a cold, calm, stoic voice from the smoke.
"Left? On the contrary, she killed not a single one of us" Mard Geer replied revealing he turned Etherious and covered his comrades within his thorns to protect them.
"That was much too close, she almost had us there." Seilah stated.
"I must give you credit, by increasing your power tenfold and combining your power boost with a holy spell, you almost killed all of due to my Thorn Magic's ability to shield and drain energy, I protected them and the worst they have is a few light burns. Is that it Fiary 12?" Mard Geer said to them.
"Damn it… I nearly died for nothing…"Anna said to herself.
"Now then Anna, come with us and your comrades get to live. If you don't.." Mard Geer smirked as Jackal had held his hand on Nel's mouth as he threatened to blow her head off, Brandman stepped on Victor's chest charging a blast in his hand, Kyouka was holding Irene in a camel clutch with her claw blade towards her neck. Zeikel held his 4 blades to Lena, Kianta was held down by skeletons by Keyes, Lullaby held down Eric and Rick and the others were held, hostage.
"Damn it…..Fine...Don't kill them, Please spare my friends and family." Anna said to Mard Geer only to cough up some blood.
"Very well!" Mard Geer then binds her with thorn ropes. Mard Geer also had Eiclar bound by thorn ropes and carried her away.
"Anna!" Irene shouted.
"Now kill them all!" Mard Geer coldly replied.
"YOU BASTARD, YOU PROMISED TO SPARE THEM!" Anna shouted.
"I'm a demon, i can care less about honor."' Mard Geer replied "Besides allowing the Queen of Dragons or the Pope of Zentopia is too dangerous for our plans, it's best we finish them off while we can. Kyouka, kill the queen first, I'll kill the Pope." Mard Geer calmly ordered Kyouka.
"Shame i can't keep her as a pet, oh well masters orders, hopefully, you get her to be reanimated as a corpse Seilah for my pleasure" Kyouka asked Seliah
"Sure thing!"Selaih replied as Kyouka goes to slash Irene's throat with her Katana length claws enhanced with curse magic when Igneel appears alone and puts his face in the path of the claw, pushing Irene back. The slash goes through his scales, wounding the bridge of his nose.
"Grrach, they can hurt dragons?" Igneel said to them demons were shocked they can bypass his scales. He felt his pain sensitivity went up high."GGRRH! What is this, my body is filled with pain."
"Shit a dragon! We're in deep shit now... " Jackal shouted.
"Get out of here everyone, I'll slow down the Dragon" Mard Geer said to the group.
"You can't take out a Royal Protection Squad Dragon on your own, even for us that's too much of a task." Brandman stated.
"Maybe so but I can buy enough time for us to escape. Take the two sacrifices and head to the cube. Kyouka's curse should give me some time to fight him off"Mard Geer commanded.
"I won't let you!"Igneel replied as he flies at Brandman but Mard Geer forms a thorn wall protecting him.
"Right!" Brandman replied as he teleported with Anna and Eiclar as well as teleporting all of the Tartaros Demons here.
"ANNA!" Victor shouted.
"Damn it we failed!" Irene shouted.
"I can't afford to be too reckless, the others are nearby, I have to be careful not to get them caught up here" Igneel said to himself.
"So you're the mighty Igneel, son of Hope Primus? I must admit your magical power is most frightening indeed. I heard stories of your legendary power in the First Dragon War, you're a lot stronger than I thought you were previously."Mard Geer explained to him about his power.
"I'm here to put an end to your reign of terror." Igneel answered back.
"Unlikely, we've just begun our plans, I miscalculated our plans and didn't think we would be caught on by Dragonv's finest so soon.
"What is that book you're cradling?"Igneel asked him.
"That book is soon going to become the Ultimate Lifeform of Zeref, END."Mard Geer answered.
"What is this you're scheming?" Igneel demanded.
"We're going to create END and return to Zeref."Mard Geer stated.
"Create END?" Igneel asked.
"However to create the ultimate lifeform we need to create the right conditions for END, to achieve the plan we plan to use the combined power of the Phoenix and the combined power of the Infinity Clock to bring this world to ruin, hence creating enough darkness to make sure that END not only is born but grows into the ultimate lifeform." Mard Geer explained to Igneel his grand scheme.
"You plan to wipe out humanity for your twisted creation?" Igneel shouted.
"That's correct..mostly correct that is...humanity are like insects, you can kill so many of them but they keep returning anyways, they're deaths are little of our concern, what concerns us is that the atmosphere is enriched in Ehteneano, us Demons prefer the energy of Anti Ehtenerano to thrive in, the kind only provided naturally in great fires and volcanic eruptions, by turning the world to the darkness we would get that enriched Anti Ehtnerano so not only would we thrive but so would END."Mard Geer calmly explained to the dragon his plan.
"So that's your plan, world domination?" Igneel asked, being frustrated while his body racked in pain.
"Sorta, we were created to simply create END and return to Zeref, what comes after that is uncertain, be it demon domination of the world or not, it matters not, you will not stop my plans." Mard Geer replied.
"That's what you think? You're a fool taking on a Dragon Protection Squad dragon." Igneel bragged only to feel his body under shock from Kyouka's curse as he grunted.
"Maybe so but given you can barely stand while your body aches, you can't draw your full strength which is to my advantage, in truthfulness I didn't count on your recklessness to help make this a handicap to my favor." Mard Geer chuckled as he awaited for Igneel to attack.
"We'll see about that !" Igneel replied as he dashed towards Mard Geer with his right claw trying to slash him however the Underworld King summoned a bunch of thorns to block the slash.
"I'm impressed, you're the first I've seen that can fight under Kyouka's curse. Her curse makes it that even a gentle breeze feels like being pierced with a longsword and the act of breathing feels like you're drowning. Either it's your mighty power as a dragon or you don't fear pain nor death." Mard Geer said to Igneel as he saw Igneel go for another punch which he sidestepped just inches from the punch hitting him."Time to get serious" Mard Geer smirked as he transformed right in front of Igneel.
His body becomes more muscular, and his skin darkens and gains the ragged pattern of his cloak. He gains long, dark horns on his forehead, jagged teeth, and retains his ponytail. Mard Geer's fingers are replaced with claws and his ears become elongated and elf-like. He gains large, bat-like wings that are both light and dark in color. Feathers also sprout from his wrists and collar.
"So that's your true form Demon?"Igneel said to Mard Geer.
"That's right Dragon, I will ensure you die here." Mard Geer replied as he dashes towards Igneel but Igneel blocks his punch with his fists, creating a shockwave.
"Such power!" Lena shouted as she was being pushed back by the shockwave
"He's clashing evenly with Igneel of all people!" Erenjack shouted.
"Do we even stand a chance against these demons?"Linda asked him.
Mard Geer and Igneel clash attacks with each other, Igneel was weakening due to Kyouka's recent attack on him causing him to breathe heavily, despite this Ingele had the overwhelming strength edge Igneel hits Mard Geer with a knee strike and knocks him into the ground and then punches at Mard Geer, damaging the demon with repeated punches creating an earthquake as he punches him through the ground. He then charged up fire in his fists.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Igneel chanted as he punched the prone Mard Geer in the stomach directly with a powerful Fiery punch which causes the hole Mard Geer was in to erupt like a miniature volcano"That should do it!" Igneel said to himself only to see Mard Geer raise from the ground and regenerate from the burns.
"Take this!" Mard Geer chanted as he sends 5 thorn tendrils at Igneel which he barely evades and the thorns graze the side of his face.
"This demon, he's powerful stronger than any demon in the last 1,000 years," Igneel said to himself as he then sees Mard Geer plan another massive attack
"Dea Yggdrasil." Mard Geer chanted as he summoned a massive wooden beam that flew towards Igneel, hitting him directly in the face with the attack, knocking him back slightly, flinching from the hit. However, the Fire Dragon King doesn't even have a scratch on him.
"That's not nearly enough !" Igneel said to the demon as he shrugged off the damage and goes for a counter attack" Fire Dragon Fist" Igneel chanted as he goes to punch the Demon King in the face, knocking him so hard, he goes flying into the clouds."Fire Dragon's Roar" Igneel chanted as he shoots a massive Fire blast towards Mard Geer while he's in the clouds.
"Curse Beam!" Mard Geer countered as he shot an equally large blast of Curse Magic from his mouth which caused a massive explosion over the skies of Fiore, Bosco, and Seven.
Meanwhile at East Bosco
Metalicana is within East Bosco where he sees the massive explosion in the sky just above the stratosphere.
"What's going on? Igneel, is that you? I gotta help him, something's happened to Igneel." Metalicana said to himself as he flew towards the explosion.
Back at the Bei Village
Meanwhile, Irene and the others struggle to get up but are too grievously injured to fight
"I feel so powerless… i can't move!" Irene shouted.
"Anna…!" Victor said to himself as he was broken from the kidnapping of his daughter.
Meanwhile at the Cube
Meanwhile, the Taraross demons watched the battle from the Cube which is miles away from the battle as they see collisions and shockwaves.
"Man boss is going all out!" Jackal said to them.
"To think he's battling a Dragon! Even my Absorption abilities can't absorb a Dragon of that caliber."Frammnalth stated.
"We should get inside, the last thing we need is to get in the shockwave."Torafuzar replied.
"Dude, we're over 500km away from the battlefield, we're not even close to the country they're in." Jackal said, noting they're far away.
"Even so I don't feel safe, even from here I can feel their intense heat and power, we need to be away further, especially if we want to avoid more dragons." Kyouka explained to them.
"Besides, we don't need our sacrifices dying so fast!" Ezekiel replied as he used his four arms to carry Anna and Eclair.
Back in the skies of Bosco
Mard Geer and Igneel clash with each other. Both were far from the Bei village and were battling 13km above sea level. Mard Geer engulfs Igneel with his Rose Thrones to drain his magic.
"Starting to weaken Dragon?" Mard Geer said to Igneel as he used his thorns to drain the dragon's power however he saw the thorns starting to melt and burn.
"Hardly!" Igneel replied as he vaporized the thorns. He was starting to wear, with Kyouka's curse affecting him badly" This pain is intense, I don't know how long I can go on. I never experienced such a twisted form of power, one that even Dragon Scales can't negate." Igneel said to himself as he struggled to breathe as he felt pain.
Igneel and Mard Geer continued their clash against each other, both of them were swinging their fists against. Mard Geer amped by Igneel's power was doing better, getting several hits on Igneel however despite having some of Igneel's power, Igneel was moving faster than Mard Geer and forcing him on the defensive as Igneel got more hits with his massive fists each bigger than his whole body got more hits and was hitting him much harder. Mard Geer was only able to hang in there thanks to his regeneration
"Not bad Dragon, you move faster than your size would entail, however, the reason I stood around is that I get stronger the more power my thorns steal, combined with Kyokua's curse wearing you down, I have the upperhand." Mard Geer explained to the dragon mocking the dragon.
"He's right, every part of my body is racked in pain, this damn curse magic they have, how can magic hurt me this much?" Igneel said to himself."I have to finish him off here before my power fades entirely." Igneel l said to himself as he charged up a Dragon Roar and fires it"Fire Dragon Roar" Igneel chanted as he fired a massive blast of fire towards Mard Geer but the blast hit a wooden clone of him with the real Mard Geer having turned his clone into thorns which absorbed the blast entirely.
"That was one hell of an attack, however, let's see you withstand your blast." Mard Geer said to him as he grew a vine on his arm which then opened up as a large flower charging up a Dragon Roar.
"Impossible, can he absorb and reflect Dragon Magic?" Igneel said he was shocked to see Mard Geer aim his blast towards him.
"We're not humans and we're not using magic, hence we Etherious can even steal and shoot back your Dragon Magic back at you, combined with our Curse " Mard Geer calmly explained to him as he aimed his blast downward towards the direction of the Bei Village.
"NO! If the blast hits the ground, that would be enough to destroy 1/10th of Ishgal" Igneeel said to himself frightened of the power of the blast as Mard Geer charged up.
"Now let's see you stop this! Blooming Death Flower !" Mard Geer chanted as he fired a massive blast which has black lighting covering the Fire Dragon Roar. Igneel flies into the blast and tries to hold it back but he was being pushed back meters downwards to the ground at a frighteningly fast rate
"I gotta absorb it!" Igneel said to himself as he tried to suck up the flames but his body was racked with pain"URRACK! I can't absorb it"
"Foolish dragon, I combined your blast with curse magic, hence even you can't absorb this flame."Mard Geer laughed with a stoic calm laugh as he directed the blast further downwards. Plunging thousands of meters per second, Igneel was close to hitting the ground.
"I have to redirect the blast away from the ground, if it hits the ground, it would destroy all of Fiore along with the surrounding countries,"Igneel said to himself as he struggled to hold back the blast, he uses his mighty strength and powerful wings to invert the angle to redirect the blast but he was still being dragged by the blast.
Igneel was being dragged, he landed on the cowbane Canyon miles south from the Boundary Forest, he landed on his feet with the blast being held by his hands. He was then pushed through the plateau by the blast, with him barely containing the blast as the beam drags him into the Mount Zonia region where he's covered with snow, he's then send flying into Mongolia which he was coming towards the Kalard Cathedral but using his mighty wings, he narrowly avoids hitting the top of the Cathedral by a mere foot, he's then sent flying into the Gulf of Fiore, passing over Galuna Island where he was able to avoid hitting by less than 100 meters, then he narrowly passes over the Island of Caleum. Igneel then flew down into the middle of the Ishgal Sea.
From a distance, a large explosion occurs that can be seen from a vast distance. Everyone feels the explosion even being 3 countries away from the blast.
Meanwhile at the Bei Village
They see a blinding explosion so intense that it feels like the sun exploded right in front of their face
"Holy shit!" Irene shouted.
"Such incredible power!" Victor shouted as he saw the explosion and saw the shockwave carry dust towards them blinding them with dust and intense light.
"This is intense!" Erenjack shouted as he struggled to hold onto a rock.
Meanwhile at the Cube.
The Taraus demons were watching in awe as the power of Mard Geer
"HOLY SHIT! NOt even my best explosion would be this huge!" Jackal laughed.
"This is why I'm glad we're as far away from them as possible!" Torafauzar replied with sweat on his brow.
Throughout the Ishgal Sea coastline
People were fleeing a massive tsunami caused by the explosion from Mard Geers blast. The Country of Garerica was under danger of the explosion as there was a Tsunami heading towards them, a massive 5km wide Tsunami was about to destroy the Nation.
"Run for your life!" The civilians shouted as they trample over each other trying to outrun the massive Tsunami but given the wave is traveling faster than the speed of sound, the average human couldn't outrun.
However, Minue came onto the shore and was staring at the wall of water about to devastate the country.
"Stand back humans, I will stop this wave." Minue said to them as she got ready to stop the attack charging up her power.
"That's Princess Minue of the Mermaida Kingdom!" one of the civilians said to them as she gathered her power.
The waves inched closer and closer to the coastline.
"Aqua Lotus: Exploding Water Typhoon" Minue jr chanted as she circularly swipes her arms, creating a powerful, and highly destructive Water Vortex spiraling as a water beam that collides with the massive tidal wave roughly 5 times as wide as Fiore with a height as high as an average mountain from a distance roughly equivalent to the length of Fiore the vortex collides and overpowers the Tsunami and pushes the water back into the sea, protecting the entire country of Garcia and possible Northern Pangera from a catastrophic destructive Tsunami.
"She saved us all!" the civilians cheered.
"Igneel, don't die on me!" Minue Jr said to herself.
Meanwhile within the Ishgal Sea.
Igneel regained consciousness having been briefly knocked out by the attack.
"Such power, it was like an Asteroid from space hit the ocean. Thank god for Minue's last-minute save, had she not stopped the wave, it would've devastated all of western Isghal. Still, the ecological damage from the blast would damage the fishing supply here. I have to end him before he shoots another blast, I must put him down before this curse ridden body gives out on me"Igneel said to himself as he gets back up and leaps out of the water. " It's all or nothing, Fire Dragon Sword Horn." Igneel chanted as he dashes towards Mard Geer moving very fast.
Back at the Bosco Skies
Mard Geer was winded from the blast.
"Man didn't think i could do it, but it seems like I've killed myself with a Dragon. I gotta get it out of here fast, the dragons must know I'm here. Still, I dragged a dragon through 3 countries at once."Mard Ger said to himself only to see something coming towards him at blinding speeds'' A Meteor?" Mard Geer wondered only to see it flying upward towards him" No it's impossible, i thought i killed him. No matter, i will fire another blast, this time you all perish. Blooming Death Flower !" Mard Geer chanted as he charged as he fired a massive beam of Darkness mixed with Igneel's flames towards the dragon moving towards him
Igneel and Mard Geer's attack clashed with the sky causing a shockwave that can be felt across Bosco. However the intense flames of Igneel head up so much, he burns right through the spell.
"Impossible, he's burning through my magic… Could he be resisting the Curse Power on Kyouka? It shouldn't be possible to be able to resist Cruses. Even if they're dragons, Curses ignore the strength and power of the victims, how is he overpowering two Curses at once" Mard Geer shouted as he is then hit dead-on in the stomach by Igneel's headbutt and knocked into the air completely defused out of his Ethertious form as he lands back within Bei Village.
He then uses Igneel, shocked to see him alive as he's hit by Igneel's and knocked out of his Etherious form.
Back at Bei Village
Mard Geer landed back at the village at the center with his body creating a crater roughly as wide as his body, he was covered in second-degree burns
"Such immense power, to be able to overpower the curse itself! As expected from dragons." Mard Ger said to himself as he struggled to stand only to see Victor Heartfilla and Irene stand back up
"Looks like you overplayed your hand Demon" Victor said to him glaring at him with immense anger.
"You might be able to beat us humans but against a Dragon, you never stood a chance." Irene said to the dragon with a death glare at him.
Metalicana arrives at the village with Igneel there.
"What's going on? Queen, you're hurt." Metalicana said to her,
"We have an emergency, the demons abducted the Bei Tribe princess and Anna Heartfilla" Irene replied panicking.
"They did?" Metalicana asked shocked that Anna was kidnapped.
"Yes, I came here barely in time, I was fighting this demon. He caught me by surprise, he was surprisingly strong, however, I gotta thank that curse power for weakening me so badly, had i gone all out, this demon would be dead in one Punch." Igneel explained to Metalicana.
"Always the reckless one Igneel." Metalicana asked mocking the fire dragon slayer.
"Like you're one to talk Metalicana." Igneel replied mocking him back.
"At least i don't let my opponents hit me with such cheap tactics" Metalicana stated.
"Oh is that why you got hurt from that cheapshot from Zeusei." Igneel replied with a smug smile.
"Oh shut up hot head!" Metalicana growled at Igneel as he got up in his face.
"Metal Brain!" Igneel replied glaring at the dragon.
Mard Geer laughed and got back up.
"I guess it's time for me to go, I will stick around but I don't wish to risk our plans standing here with too many strong beings. But before i go, I will show you the power of Tararus!" Mard Geer said to them as he leaped out.
"He's still able to stand!"Igneel stated.
"This is why you don't show mercy Igneel. Iron Dragon Hummingbird Kanabo" Metalicana chanted as he turned his arm into a Medieval Chainsaw and swiped it, slashing Mard Geer in half but it was a Thorn clone that then glew."Ahh Shit!" Metallicana shouted"Everyone gets in the dom quick! Iron Dome" Metallica Shouted as he created an Iron Dome around the humans as the thorns were about to explode. All of us and the surviving people still in the village went inside the acre wide metal dome while Igneel and Metalicana shielded that dome with their bodies as the blast exploded, the Bei Circle was entirely covered.
"Memento Mori" Mard Geer chanted as his Thron clone turns into a dark paralytic mist around the target that envelopes them, creating a massive beam of dark spirits that reaches towards the sky. Igneel and Metalicana use their bodies to shield from the intense explosion. The overwhelming power of the blast covers the entire village in a wave of ghostly green energy aura as the explosion goes up into the sky dwarfing the height of mountains.
The smoke cleared as the Iron dome was released around the Bei Circle as Metalcianaa and Igneel were still standing but they were badly injured.
"Looks like they're all safe Igneel said to Metalicana as he had blood coming out of his scales. He collapses onto the ground.
"Good thing too..i barely survived that one!" Metalicana replied as he was bleeding from his body as well as collapsed as well.
"IGNEEL, METALICANA! " Irene shouted as she rushed to the two panicking as the two were badly injured. Irene was in tears seeing the two dragons badly injured.
Meanwhile, Mard Geer is flying away with his wings while in base form winded.
"That blast was supposed to have erased all creation. This Curse was created to destroy the immortal being Zeref, as the victims of this Curse are no longer alive nor are they dead, but are simply erased, becoming nothing for eternity." Mard Ger explained to himself the cruse" Either the dragons are extremely resistant to this power, they're that strong or i was that weakened...Oh well, they're already near-death, I've done more than enough to damage their morale... Now onto our plan to create END."Mard Geer said to himself as he flies to the Cube.
Minutes later Beslerion flies into the Bei village with Grandeenedy. They see Irene and Victor still standing, all of the other Fairy 12 is out cold and Igneel and Metalicana are in critical condition.
"ARE THEY GOING TO BE ALRIGHT?" Irene asked Grandeeneedy hysterically about the condition of Metalicana and Igneel.
"They'll live, but they're in serious condition. I can only stop the bleeding for now but their wounds are so bad that they would need serious treatment. Their scales absorbed the blunt of the damage but their internal organs were badly injured, they needed serious treatment badly. Had it not for them, everyone here would have perished including you, this magic erased everything outside the Iron Dome."Grandeenedy explained to the queen of dragons as she points to everything outside of the Bei Circle within a mile radius that has been vaporized. Buildings are reduced to crumbled dust, trees and any beings unfortunate enough to be in the radius vaporized to ash, it was as if the village itself never existed.
Minue arrives at the scene with her mother to see Igneel and Metalicana.
"IGNEEL!" Minue jr shouted as she goes to hug the dragon but Grandeneey stops her.
"Careful, Igneel's body is so badly damaged that he's in a delicate condition, we need to carefully transport him out of here.
"What happened?" Minue Jr shouted.
"Long story, we need to make sure everything is secured here. We have multiple casualties here, the queen is badly injured too as well as the Pope of Zentopia." Grandenenedy explained to her.
"We need to get them treated." Minue stated.
"Transport them to the country of Zen, we established a medical bay within Exodus. We were able to save enough lives there, though for Metalicana and Igneel we're going to need to delicately transport them across the Ishgal Sea" Grandeendy stated.
"Very well then, let's head to Zen." Belserion replied.
February 6, X390, a day I would never forget, on that day the Fiary 12 suffered a major loss and a major beatdown. Were all hospitalized at once, however, the worse it was Igneel and Metalicana, having barely survived the dreaded Memento Mor Intended to wipe out the entire Bei Tribe along with the dreaded Sensation Curse from Kyouka, both lied in critical condition. It took 4 dragons on a makeshift stretcher like bed the size of a large house to carry Metalicana and Igneel to fly them to Zen and they can only move less than the speed of sound fearing that going too fast can accidentally flay the skin of these delicately damaged dragons who suffered severe scale damage along with internal organ damage. The rest of us was also transported by Dragons, Grandeenedy took a small house and put us all in it and carried the house from the Bei Village at the Bosco, Seven Fiore border to Exodus in Zen, it took us roughly 5 hours to land in the desert nation to be safe and sound however the physical damage was nothing compared to the damage to our mental state. We had to stop Taratos at all cost, this would be our toughest fight yet.

(A/N: Boy that was a rough chapter, yeah the Fairy 12 got their asses handed to them. Notice the difference between canon Fairy Tail and this chapter? I added dread and suspense to the Tartarus guild, something sorely lacking in the canon version of them. Hell, it baffles me how Tartarus despite being far more powerful than Ocriaon Seis, Gilmore Heart and even the Reborn Oracion Seis from the Starry Sky Arc spent most of their time getting their asses handed to them, the only time Tatarus got an upper hand on Fairy Tail the entire arc was kidnapping Erza, taking out Laxus and holding Elfman Hostage and even then they still got their asses handed to them with them barely hurting Fairy Tail with the only exceptions to someone coming anywhere close to dying being Erza when she fought Kyouka. Expect at least half the battles to have half the characters at near-death state when they get their rematch against Tartarus because I buffed them up considerably.
Power level wise, they're not that much stronger than canon. Each are at least Country-level and able to destroy a whole country, after all, they state so themselves each can destroy a whole country and they easily scale beyond the Fodder Tier Dragons from the Dragon Festival with a recent calc i did with Erza and Kyouka power scaling Mard Geer and Kyouka into the continent destruction range. The difference here is that they're going to be far more competent and efficient than canon and hence deadlier than they ever were in canon. Of course, the good guys are going to win which is pretty obvious but I will try to make the fights much closer, much more brutal and the wins much more satisfying than canon.
And yep told you were going to make Anna Heartfilla a badass, something Canon has completely dropped the ball on with her during the story. Yep much like Lucy, she opened up all her Gates to prevent Loki from being token to the Celestial Spirit World, i took that concept and did one even better, i made her all gate open shit her Kaioken power up in which her power and the power of all the spirits are explosively increased by the number of spirits she has, hence how she goes from barely doing shit to Franmalth, one of the weakest Dmeons of the Demon Gates to Loki and Virgo nearly one-shotting Jackal and Torafruzar, one od the stronger Tataros Demons, of course, this comes at the price of nearly killing Anna but did she not go down with a bang. She's the weakest of the Fairy 12 in terms of combat but she's far from powerless.
I based this on of course Lucy opening up the Celestial Spirit King to fight Tatarus and how she almost one-shotted the whole guild in that one instance where she surpassed Natsu, Gray and Erza, of course, i had it subverted entirely the moment Seliah pretty much rekted and curb-stomped Anna's enhanced spirits just to show off how incredibly powerful she is. Keep in mind Seilah in canon curbstomped Mirajane's Satan Soul Sriti and Kyouka who's equal to Seliah stomped Erza in Fairy Armor in her Etherious form before both Mirajane and Erza's asspulls on both fights so it makes senses Seliah would stomp the same spirits which fought on par with Natsu tier Tataros Members. Speaking of the Celestial Spirit King, expect that to appear later in this arc, Anna might be the damsel of distress but far from finished here.
Now comes the Mard Geer vs Igneel fight and I know people should be like "Igneel should be able to effortlessly curb stomp Mard Geer to the point it would be a massacre" and you would be right for the most part. Mard Geer doesn't stand a chance against Igneel if Igneel went all out at 100%, hell even when drained of magic and severely weakened by Kyouka's curse, he still beat Mard Geer who was amped by Igneel's magic however hell of a battle, the fact Mard Geer can keep up with Igneel at all just goes to show how I plan to make Taratous a more serious you want to know how strong a full power Igneel is at this time, just look at his girlfriend Minue Jr who stopped a potentially continent spamming Tsunami caused by Mard Geer's Death Blooming Flower Curse.
Speaking of Minue Jr, as I've been building up to, she's Igneel's Girlfriend within the story and as you can guess would be the future i alluded to back within chapter 15 back in the New Queen Arc, Ingina will be born within February 20, X391, literally a year from now so yeah a pregnant Minue was able to stop a Tidal wave from an attack around the size of one generated from an Asteroid. Originally I planned to have her killed off during the Dragon King Festival Arc but considering that in canon Igina was raised by his mother long enough to know her and Igneel before they fled to Guiltina and she died there.
As for the northern continent of Guiltina, it's going to be undiscovered for much of this past series. After all the continent wasn't discovered in Fairy Tail up until recently and going by narrative within the 100 Year Quest, not too many people know about this continent so i'm keeping it mostly out of narrative until maybe the end of the Dragon War, i'm playing it by ear with the story, slowly adding more lore to the fan fiction via the 100 Year Quest.
Realistically the only one in Tararus who can take Igneel at this point is Brandman, if it wasn't for Kyouka's Sensation curse, Mard Geer wouldn't last five seconds however it should be noted that despite weakened, Igneel fighting Mard Geer is as powerful as Devil Slayer Gray and Dragon Force Natsu combined. Igneel, even at full power in this arc, is nowhere close to his prime power where he can take Acnologia in a straight-on fight despite being half dead.
As for me incapacitating Igneel and Metalicana It was to write them out of the arc until much later on given that they are too strong for Taratus to handle even at their younger state, it's also to show the power of Curse Magic on how even Dragons who are Magic Resistant can be damaged by Curses Memento Mori is supposed to kill anything it hits but because Igneel and Metalicana are plot essential and also Dragons, they survive it, can't have either die so soon now.
Now time for the action-packed Act 2 of the arc.
