Fairy Tail Minus One Chapter 32:The Pope's Warth

(A/N: The Pope of Zentopia reaches his boiling point after his daughter was almost killed by Mard Geer and is now being used as a sarafical piece to create END. Time to see why Victor Heartfilla retains the highest rank as mage of Fiore and all of Zentopia.)

At the Infinity Castle

6:00 P.M.

The group separated to run to various points of the Infinity Castle. Irene and Victor headed straight to the Altair itself in the middle of the castle at its highest tower. Lena headed to the chamber that was at the west wing of the castle, Erenjack headed to the east wing of the castle, Veronica headed to the head wing of the Castle, Rena headed to the Tail of the castle and Nel was at the bottom chamber of the castle. The goal is to destroy the chambers and stop the activation of Reality Overdrive.

Meanwhile at Crocus Skies

The dragons were fighting an endless horde of nightmare-generated dragons as well as thousands of Hence demons as the skies were covered in explosions of magic.

"This horde isn't ending!" Igneel said to the other dragons as they dodge the blasts of magic from the ether dragon Dragon, Blazing Dragon Fury!" Igneel chanted as he charged up a fireball and shot a fireball which then exploded into hundreds of fireballs that ran down on the dragon horde killing many creatures however more reformed.

"Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Logs."Metalicana chanted as he turned his arm into a large spearhead which he then thrusts at high speed, creating many thrusting waves that fire hundreds of large needle-like blades from the thrusting motions of Metalicana's right arm which skewers the dragons.

"Shattering Light: Sky Drill" Grandeenedy chanted as she created a rotating vortex of wind around her, destroying dragon ether hordes around her however more reformed.

"Poison Dragon Scales "Venomisky chanted as he swung his arm, generating a very large number of scale-shaped masses of poison which slashes through the dragon hordes however even with the poison, they kept mupiltying after being divided in half.

"Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd" Zeusei chanted as he formed a Javelin made of lighting and threw the Halberd like a javelin through multiple creatures; however it didn't work as more formed.

"Whtie Dragon Holy Arrows!"Wesslogia chanted as he shot a blast from his mouth which divides into several dozen arrow-like beams that pierce through dozens of dragons.

"Shadow Dragon, Dead Hands" Wesslogia chanted as he created hundreds of shadow hands from the ground which pulled down some of the dragons into the dark void and got absorbed into the shadows however more of them were created.

Before they knew it, there were now over a thousand Ether dragons created surrounding the dragons while they were within the skies of Crocus.

"Damn we hit them with everything and their numbers won't decrease." Igneel said to the others.

"How are we going to destroy these creatures?" Metalicana asked them.

"Those dragons keep multiplying because they're not physical beings, physical attacks have no effect on these creatures. Only conceptual powers can damage them." Beslerion said to the other dragons.

"Conceptual as in ghosts?"Grandeeney asked them.

"Precisely, these dragon spirits must be the fallen souls to the Infinity Clock itself. The dragons must've sacrificed their lives to stop this thing from destroying the world and hence got absorbed into the Clock itself and the Castle is channeling their souls to fight us." Beslerion explained to them" I remember fighting alongside the forces to defeat the clock 500 years ago, it's all coming back to me." Beslerion explained to them.

"It is?" Igneel asked him.

"Yes, all the more reason we can't let this fully activate. Siprior Arts"Belserion chanted as he enhanced all the Ally dragons with his power.

"Whoa, this power. When did you learn this?" Igneel asked him.

"Hundreds of years of training and mastery of all Enchantment arts. Having seen how Zentopian Exorcist Mages work as well also helped with learning Spiritual enhancement magic." Belserion explained to the dragons as he powered all the dragons and they go after the ethereal dragons which fire dragon roars at them."Disappearing Spheres."Belserion chanted as he uses his many spheres of magic to take out many dragon ghosts with explosions.

"Lightning Dragon's Explosive Bolt" Zeusei chanted as he created a massive explosive wave of lightning around him which destroyed multiple spirit dragons around him, wiping out the final wave of them.

"We did it, we defeated the enemies."Igneel said to them as there weren't any more spirit dragons.

"Don't celebrate just yet!"Grandeeendy said to Igneel as the Castle was now loading up a second attack on them

" Looks like the Castle is about to attack back. "Metailicana replied as they noticed that out of the castle came out Batsillas which shot energy spears at they know it, hundreds of flying energy like spears fly at them firing at them like machine guns

"Spears made of Mangium?" Ingeel asked as he dodged the spears.

"The Infinity Clock was created to battle the Dark Dragon Tribe, it's only natural it has weaponry that can harm dragons. " Beslerion said to them as he was evading the spears.

"Such a formidable weapon they're firing,''Metalicana replied as he dodged the spears as an endless barrage of Mangium spears were firing at them from all over the castle.

The dragon's dodge the spears fired from the ballista.

Meanwhile, around the area, hundreds of dragons attack the chains of the Infinity Castle with Dragon Roars, ramming into the chains or using their attacks attacking the chains, damaging them or destroying them but despite the destruction of the chains, more of them appear attempting to absorb even more magic to hasten the countdown.

"There's no end to the chain's commander," one of the dragons asked him.

"The chains are much weaker than the body however they keep regenerating or being recreated, no luck on destroying the chains." another dragon repiled.

"We have to keep toppling the chains, the more we delay the activation of Reality Overdrive the better for all of us." the commander dragon commanded only to see thousands of spears fly towards them. Several dragons were skewered by the Mangium spears, including the ones the commander was talking to "SHIT!" The dragon commander shouted only to get skewered by the anti-dragon spears. The dragons around Magnolia flee for cover as the castle fires spears across the country targeting any dragons.

Meanwhile at the top of Infinity Castle

Noah Clive was on the defensive as he was fighting all of the Tartaros Demons including the recently deceased Mard Geer in Etherious forms. All but Seliah have been revived out of the demons with Deloria and Lullaby sealed away rather than killed off. All of the zombified Tartaros Demons have the wounds they all died with however as Zombies, they can completely ignore the pain while attacking ferally.

He sees Jackal and Tofauzar come at him with their fists as well as Zeke and Tempster. He evades each of their blows and goes to block their attacks; however, he feels a sharp cut blocking Eziekl's attack.

"Garrch, his blade arms are sharper than I thought!" Noah said to himself only to see his left arm glowing. He then is caught off guard as his left arm explodes, however thankfully it was only light burn damage "Darragh, note to self, don't block that overgrown dog and blade man's attacks with your bare limbs."

"UARRGH!" Ezekiel roared as he went to use his Omairu creating a shockwave slash with his four arms but Noah uses his power to protect against the powerful slash however Noah sees an opening and dashes towards the Zombie.

"Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean" Noah chanted as he hits Ezekiel with a devastating uppercut, easily knocking down the creature and incapacitating the zombie creature with a single punch. Torafuzar then attempts to hit Noah with a massive flood of Tneichik Kami but Noah counters that as well"All Crush" Noah chanted as he does a palm strike to the air and creates a shockwave that cuts the wave into many cubes, dispelling the curse. Torafurzar then attempts to punch Noah's head off with Deep Impact but Noah dodges the punch with a sidestep"Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Absolute Heaven" Noah chanted as he punches Torafuzar with explosive force and sends him into the ground.

"RAARGHUH!" Franmalth roared as he tried to ensnare him with his tentacles and went to shipon magic from him; however, Noah smirked and powered up and overloaded Franmalth's body with his magical power, causing Franmalth to explode.

"UWWWWAR!" Jackal roared as he went to attack Noah with his strongest attack charging up a blast of Curse magic in its mouth to fire at Noah but Noah sees the attack coming and uses his All Crush to blast Jackal away.

"GRRAAWAR!"Kyouka roared as she shot a large blast of lighting at Noah, causing him to tumble in pain as the curse makes him massively weaker to attacks.

"GARRAH!" Noah grunted as he stumbled over to one knee while trying to fight the pain his body is suffering only to be ensnared in the tendrils from Mard Geer who begins to drain his magical power. Noah however punches the ground, creating a shockwave bowing both Mard Geer and Kyouka's zombified corpses back. Mard Geer then uses Noah's energy to make himself even stronger.

"These creatures are going to be tougher than I thought!" Noah said to himself as he was up against them. Brandman then goes to telepathically talk to the zombified demons.

"Kyouka, Mard Geer, stay where you're at and fend off this brute. The rest of you, head out to destroy the humans threatening to destroy the minions, we got some people trying to destroy the chambers, some of you scatter out and deal with those meddlesome pests, the rest, fight and finish off this nuisance." Brandman said to the demons as Jackal, Torafuzar, Franmalth and Ezekiel go to pursue the humans, Keyes, Kyouka, and Mard Geer all stay to fight Noah off.

Meanwhile at the Altar.

The Altair room has Anna within the center of the clock placed at the eye of the clock while Eclair is chained up to a sacrificial altar. Around the room are thousands of candles surrounding the sacrificial altar and an altar that greatly resembles that of a cathedral with a piano playing music. Victor and Irene rush into the chamber to stop the activation of Reality Overdrive and save Anna and Eclair. Anna wakes up to see herself binded at the center of the clock.

"What..No it can't be." Anna shouted as she tried to get out of the clock but to no avail, she's then horrified as she saw Eclair surrounded by flames as she screamed in agony. Above her is a book floating about it as the book was absorbing the power from Eclair as well as the flames.

"Looks like you're still awake, long enough to live to see the creation of END right in front of your eyes, as you see from your very eyes, the creation of the END monster is beginning. It's absorbing the power of magic into the pages in order to fill it up. Once all the pages of the book are written with the runes of the Phoenix and forged from the power of Reality overdrive, END would be fully complete." Brandman explained his plan to Anna only for Anna to spit in his face.

"You disgust me, everything about you demons disgusts me. I'd rather die than to be used as a weapon to destroy humanity."Anna shouted.

"I must admit to killing Master Mard Geer of all people is no doubt impressive, to summon the Celestial Spirit King is even more impressive. Had we not needed your body to complete the Infinity Clock, you would've made for a very powerful Etherious, possibly surpassing my abilities; however, it's because of your mastery of the Celestial Spirits that make you the perfect sacrifice for us." Brandman explained to Anna.

"Not while I draw breath demons!" Victor said to Brandman as he stared down the demon with intense fury.

"ANNA, ECIALIR!" Irene shouted horrified to see what's going on. She then sees the book floating above her, Irene goes to slice the book but a barrier pushes her back.

"It's useless to try to destroy the book while it's being constructed, the book is protected by the Infinity Clock which is being channeled and controlled by the Tenrou Orb, the only way you're destroying the book is if you can take out the Infinity Clock itself." Brandman said to Irene.

"That's why we're here, we're here to stop your plans." Victor stated.

"You're too late Victor, soon the END ceremony will begin, in less than 30 minutes, the demon will be born into this world. We're already almost done extracting the Phoenix soul dominant within the Bei Tribe Princess, all it's needed is to infuse that power into the book itself and using the R-System spell with the Infinity Clock to create the Etherious." Brandman explained the plan to them.

"R System? What are you talking about?" Irene asked him.

"Ask yourself how Brad Manson was able to come from the dead? It's impossible to bring back the dead much less into its own being or so you humans thought. Zeref created us using the "Resurrection-System".It's a massive time-consuming process that requires an insane constant amount of magical power, however, it brings back those who were killed, and using the immense power of the R-System, it brings them back into Etherious." Brandman explained to Etherious.

"You're saying that the R System can bring back anyone?" Victor asked the demon.

"Zeref's powers were so immense in the dark arts that he was able to easily bring back all of us who had fallen from the Fiore Civil War and merged our powers with powerful demons from the underworld. The R System he created defiles reality and the concept of death itself, it was the pursuit of this very power that turned Zered from a child prodigy who became a professor within the academy at a mere age of 10 to becoming the dark wizard himself who became known for sacrificing his entire academy to the underworld."Brandman explained the origins of Zeref to Victor Heartfilla.

"The Mlidan Academy Massacre, so that was him?" Victor asked him.

"Our dark lord Zeref came close to creating END that very day, the higher-ups tried to stop his project in which he was going to construct a tower that reached the heavens and gather Etheranao from the stars to power up his tower, all that power would funnel into eventually gathering the right amount of Edeas to do the R System resurrection spell." Brandman explained Zeref's plan to the Pope.

"Edeas, you mean the amount of magic that mages produce? The Midian system of magical measurement" Victor asked him.

"All mages and magical beings have Edeas. For an average human, the Edea level is minuscule, hardly a featherweight in mass. For a human mage, when scaled to their magic, they can produce as much mass with the Etheranto they consume with their own body weight, for elite human mages, it's usually 10 to 100 Edas, with most human general mages being around 1,000 Edeas to even 10,000 for a rare few. It's insignificant compared to the weakest of dragons the level is at least 10,000 Edeas for a Crank Dragon, an average dragon can produce easily 10,000 times its own body weight in magic and consume just as much at once, a B class dragon can generate between 100,000-1,000,000 times its body weight in Edeas, a rank dragon can generate between 1 Million to 100 Million times their weight in magic and finally, the S Class dragons can generate roughly finally for S Ranked Dragons over 100 Million Edeas to as high as 1 Billion Edas if not even higher. To power the R-System, it would require the equivalent of 12-20 Moons of non-stop constant absorption of the natural Ethernano that the stars produce or roughly 2.7 Billion Edeas using a rare Crystal that can absorb Ehteranao at far higher concentrations than the whole planet receives."Brandman explained to the Pope how Etherious were created.

" 2.7 Billion Edeas, That's the power equivalent to a squad of 7 S Ranked Dragons at the very least or a seasoned S Rank dragon or the mass equivalent of Billions of humans worth of magic, much more humans that exist across the entire world" Victor stated.

"Exactly, no human comes close to matching the power of an S Rank dragon aside from the Queen of Dragons with her legendary Holy Sword. We can sacrifice the entire continent of mages and countless normal and middle-tier dragons and come nowhere close to the level of power to even create a single Etherious being. We will need at least 7 Billion humans sacrificed or over 2 million Dragons, Zeref on the other hand can effortlessly generate that level of power by his own hands and hence was able to create us merely by building one Tower of Heaven. He spent an entire year on the process within his hidden mountain base, a perfect place to hide a tower of such size." Zeref explained to the Pope of Zentopia.

"For Zeref to create the Etherious ...His power has to have surpassed even an S Class Dragon...How such a thing is possible without a Holy ancient weapon forged to slay dragons? I thought the only mother could have that level of power, not another human being." Irene asked him.

"Zeref experimented with black magic, having obtained immortality from an experiment gone horribly wrong, one that would result in the massacre of his entire academy, however merely creating us alone was enough of a tax and that was mere with 2.7 Billion Edeas, END is far above our power and beyond the concept of power itself. Zeref who was able to create each of us within his own tower with enough magic power to surpass every living mage in the entire continent was unable to create END even with his great power." Brad Manson explained to them.

"So even that monster couldn't create END himself?" Victor asked him.

"If he could, we wouldn't need the Infinity Clock, would we? The Infinity Clock is the only thing in the world that comes close to the power of a god, after all, it sealed away the Legendary Demon Dragon King, a dragon so powerful, it could contend with the legendary 5 Dragon Gods who can each easily bring ruin to the entire world. The R System has its limits, for END to be created, it would take over 1,000 R Systems at once to create this demon, something that's hardly convenient given it takes almost 2 decades to even create one unless you're the being known as Zeref who can easily create one tower. Hence why we stole the Infinity Clock and soon, it's going to be used to bring END to life. Once the Phoenix Spirit merges with the book. The level of Edeas the clock would produce would be like producing the weight of an entire planet" Brandman explained to Victor and Irene.

"As if I would let you.." Victor replied as he got ready to fight Brandman." Irene, Rescue Eclair, stop this process as much as you guys can, I'll deal with this monster myself." Victor said to Irene as he was ready to fight.

"Right! "Irene replied as she was horrified by the screens of Eclair.

"Irene help me out of here!"Anna shouted.

"Don't worry I'm coming, Anna!" Irene replied, "Eclair is out of the question, until we disable the clock, getting to her is impossible, I need to focus on stopping the clock from absorbing Anna hole." Irene said to herself as she witnessed the horror of Eclair burning alive yet being regenerated by the clock to extract the Phoenix. She went up the stairs to see Anna there. Her eyes were devoid of life as she was being absorbed. Shen then talked with a robotic voice.

"30 minutes until Reality Overdrive is ready to activate," Anna said with a robotic, lifeless tone as it seemed like the clock was taking her over.

"ANNA! She's being absorbed by the clock" Irene shouted as she tried to pull Anna out of the clock.

"Hurry Irene... I feel the clock taking me over.

Irene rushes to Anna to remove her from the clock and goes to try to use separation enchantment but to no avail. Irene tried to pull her out but it was too strong.

"Damn it! it's not working, the clock is too strong."Anna shouted.

"DANGER, INFINITY CLOCK BEING THREATENED, LEVEL 5 THREAT DETECTED" Anna said in a monotone voice as the clock summons a creature that comes out of the ground. The creature emerged out of pure Mangum. It resembled a giant Cenitepide covered in a golden body, the centipede was around the size of a dragon.

"What the hell?" Irene shouted as she saw the Centipede go to shoot a massive blast of acid towards her which she barely avoids the blast as it melts the floor around her. The centipede then goes to try to lunge at her with its massive mandibles but Irene dodges it, getting her shoulder grazed by the monster. Irene then goes to slash the creature but her sword doesn't even scratch its body " It's made of pure Manigum, I can't damage it with a direct attack"

Meanwhile, Victor battles against Brandman as he fires a large blast of light towards Brandman but the demon manages to evade turning intangible. Brandman then appears behind the Pope with a punch but the mage evades the punch.

"Armor of the God" Victor chanted as he used a spell covering his entire body in armor made of light and goes to punch Brandman in the face, bypassing his intangibly "Deus Pugnus ( Latin for God's Fist) "Victor chanted as he punched s Brandman again with a golden fist punching Brandman in the face knocking him back and drawing a small pint of blood from his nose.

"I must admit, that was genius. Condensing your body in a suit of light, however, don't think that alone saves you from me. I was once one of the strongest wizards in the land, now I'm the god of death, I'm the most powerful of every Taurus member here. I was created as a last resort in case Mard Geer failed " Brandman explained to Victor his immense power. " Let me show you the true capability of spreading the powers of my poison across the entire country." Brandman laughed as he spread a dark cloud of poison which instantly formed a large storm cloud around Fiore which began to rain down MBP.

"Not so fast, u summon thy Barakiel" Victor countered as he summoned Barakiel as an angel and then used a powerful beam of light covering the country, negating the MBF, only costing himself 2 coins.

"Impossible, you canceled my MBP" Brandman shouted, shocked to see his MBP rain down as harmless light particles.

"There's a reason I'm pope of this great country, this land, you would not poison my followers with your demonic poisons." Victor replied as he was ready to fight him.

"Of course, you're dreaded Angel Magic, how can I forget that You're the grandmaster of Angel Magic, magic only used by the purest of hearts, and the darker the heart, the greater the drawbacks of the Magic regarding cost. Many mages with wicked, impure hearts died using this magic." Brandman explained to the Pope about his terrifying magic.

"Now it's going to be a lot more effective now that you're a demon. Barakiel attack" Victor attacked as he unleashes a powerful beam of light which Brandman can't dodge as it's too fast for him to lock and he takes considerable burn damage from the light

"GAARCH, IT'S LIKE THE LIGHT FROM THE SUN!" Brandman grunted as he was being burned by the intensity of the light. The light cleared up and Brandman's body had moderate burns on it. "My turn Victor Heartfilla!" Brandman goes to power up and charges up his power"Second Seal!" Brandman chants as he summons a massive pool of skull corpses that appear from the underground and unleashes a sea of skulls at Victor.

"Hammer Angel " Victor chanted as he summoned an Angel wielding a hammer and went to create a shockwave of light which overpowers Brandman and badly damages him. Brandman coughs up blood as he is damaged by the shockwave.

"Gah damn you... you weren't this strong before, you barely handled Mard Geer. I'm far more powerful than even Mard Geer's True demon form so how are you damaging me so badly." Brandman shouted frustrated as he was being overpowered.

"Because you pissed off a loving father and pissed off the Pope of Zentopia. I have the blessings of every person around the world, all the followers of Zentopia, and the love of my daughter powering me to go beyond my physical limits, that and Light will triumph over darkness. Now your damnation will fall upon you." Victor Heartfilla replied as he was ready to battle the demon.

"It looks like the first seal and Second Seal failed against you but as expected, you live up to the rank Pope. I thought all those years since the end of the Frist Dragon War made you soft and rusty but it seems you beam with the same power as you do with your prime. Now time to cast judgment onto you and enter the Third Seal so I can show you the power of the Grim Reaper." Brandman said to Victor as he morphed his body, shrouding himself in poisonous Magical Barrier Particles.

Meanwhile at the West Wing Chamber of Infinity Castle

Veronica arrived within the middle of the chamber which its interior resembled a rocky canyon. She goes to search for the orb powering the chamber only to see Jackal leap towards her which she manages to evade as he creates a large explosion from him landing near her blowing her back. Jackal is in his Etherious form but had damage from his fight with Nel including a large hole in his torso.

"That was close...Jackal huh? Selah's memories told me a lot about him. If he touches me even once, it could do serious damage. My power still isn't at 100% but thankfully Irene gave me some of her power. I will merely need Haplas Soul against him."Veronica said to herself as she transformed into her Halphas Soul form. "This form has stronger range attacks than it does hand to hand so best I stick to this form for now. I'm uncertain if I can fully control Seliah's powers yet so best not to gamble on that form and using Sriti and Baal would be too taxing and risky given they're more powerful up close."Veronica said to herself as she then sees Jackal goes to attack him.

"URRAAHWARGH!" Zombie Jackal roared as he went to attack Veronica again with a leaping strike which creates a large shockwave that blows rocks towards Veronica but the she-devil blows them away with a shockwave of her own. Jackal then leaps towards her and strikes her down, creating an explosion that knocks the white hair mage to the ground.

"He's alot faster than he appears to be, he's going to be very difficult to fight.''Veronica said to herself as she charged up a blast ready to fight him.

Infinity Castle West Wing

At the chamber, Lena encounters Zekiel who had a massive gash between his two halves from the Everfrost sword cutting him in half. Despite being split in half, his two halves were fighting as one mindless zombie, balanced by the creature's tentacles.

'What the hell?" Lena said, looking at the horrific sight of Zekiel.

"UARRGAHWAR!"The demon whalled as it tried to slash at her but she blocked it with her sand only to have her sand cut in half.

Meanwhile at the East Wing

Erenjack is within the east wing chamber where the entire chamber resembles an Azetic temple where there's a warm subtropical environment around it with a large pool of water resembling a lake. At the top of the Ziggurat is an Orb that connects to the main chamber infinity clock.

Before Erenjack can get the orb, A zombified Torafuzar appears and attacks him, swiping him with his bladed fin. He's within his Etherious form by default and has scars from his battle with Lena. His Metallic body and scratches and gashes from Lena's Sand Magic Crystal Palace and the massive hole through his chest cavity from Lena's Crystal Sand magic Khryselakatos.

"You gotta be kidding me..."Erenjack said to himself as he stared down the Fish Demon.

"RAARAGH..." Torafuzar roared as he shoots a massive wave of his Tenicki Kamini towards Erenjack which engulfs the entire chamber with his dark water. Erenjack using his quick thinking summons his Sea Emperor Armor to protect him from the toxic water and readies to battle Torafuzar.

Meanwhile at the Bottom Chamber of the Infinity Castle.

Nel is at the bottom chamber where there's a lot of spike traps that rise up and down the floor and swinging ax traps, she manages to evade that to see the orb in the middle of the dungeon-like room when she then sees Franmalth emerge right in front of her as a zombie. His distinct eye was completely destroyed by Linda's Water Make: Blood Ice Sword and his body burned by frostbite from Erenjack's Everfrost sword.

"So you can still talk, unlike the other zombies," Neliel asked the zombified corpse of Franmalth.

"My unique ability is my ability to survive even with a small fragment of myself destroyed. Normally I will become a fungi being and infect the host that I take over and turn them into a Zombie and slowly transform back to my original body at the expense of my host body but Brandman saved me the trouble of regenerating. Now I'm alive again." Franmalth explained to her explaining how he's the only sentient zombie.

"Still you're a bit blind" Neileil taunted him.

"Don't remind me, even so, my other senses make up for it, also it matters very little. You're a terrible matchup against me and don't be fooled by my decaying appearance, I'm as strong as I was when we first scrapped with each other and spoilers, with this body so damaged, I don't even feel pain so good luck putting me down." Franmalth laughed as he went to attack her.

Meanwhile at the tail of the castle.

Rena headed to the Tail of the castle. She finds the orb without anyone there and goes to grab it.

"This is way too easy, something isn't right here."Rena said to herself.

Meanwhile at the Infinity Castle Altair

Both of them clashed attacks with each other. Victor with his Armor of God can easily clash with the demonic poison shroud of Brandman's with neither suffering ill effects of the poison however Victor goes to punch his gut only to get a nasty surprise as an explosion knocks him back but is caught by Barakel.

"UARRAGH, My arm!" Victor shouted as his left arm was burned by the explosion" That's the Jackal's power."

"I'm just getting started, I'm all the Tatarus Demon Gates put into one and have all their powers combined" Brandman laughed as he then goes to swing his arms catching Victor off-guard "Exploding Spiral" Brandman chanted as he creates a large purple explosion which completely blasts Victor in a massive explosion catching Irene by surprise too

"Victor! What the hell?" Irene said to herself as she tried to land a hit on the giant centipede. The centipede slashes at her with its clawed legs which she barely avoids.

Victor protected himself with his summoning Hammer Angel and Narakel but they were out of commission and dispelled themselves while he had minor burns around his body.

"That was far too close, had not for my summoning, that would've killed me."Victor said to himself as he then sees Brandman go to summon 4 arms with blades on them.

"Onimaru" Brandman chanted as he created an explosive slashing wave that cut an x shaped gash through Victor's torso, shattering his Armor of God, and also poisoning him.

"Grrach!" Victor grunted as he coughed up blood.

"Tenchi Kaimei " Brandman chanted as he creates a massive wave of poison water which floods the chamber forcing Irene to jump onto the stairs along with her evil counterpart while victor is growing in the poisonous, black carbonic water "Calamity Whirlwind" Brandman chanted as he hits Victor with a powerful tornado which sweeps up the poison water as well and then goes to shoot a blast of Lightning at the Tornado "Paint Bolt" Brandman chanted as he hits Victor with an immensely powerful blast of Lightning causing him immense pain.

Victor struggles to get back up as he was battered pretty badly only to notice his hands were grabbing his own neck

"GRRACH!" Victor shouted as he struggled to breathe.

"Hmmmahahaaaahhah, you're powerless compared to my curse power. Curses are far superior to magic, you mages stand no chance against the might of curses." Brandman laughed, however, Victor remained calm and used a Punching Angel to knock Bradman off his focus so he could escape Marco."He broke out of Marco, he also summoned an Angel without the incarnation?" Brandman said to himself, surprised by that.

"You're going to need more than a stolen trick to beat me."Victor said to the Reaper as he was ready to fight, ignoring his injuries.

"Touche Pope of Zenotpia, I wasn't expecting you to withstand all those curses, however, this is where I get serious."Brandman replied as Victor felt the ground shake as he saw skulls come out." Over Skelter." Brandman chanted as he conjured multiple skulls with ghost-like bodies The skulls poison Victor as he's sucked down the death vortex, He narrowly escapes using Raguel to blow away the sea of skills. Victor is badly poisoned by Over Skeleter coughing up blood.

"This is bad, that curse did serious damage to my body. Even with the Armor of God Spell, it ate through my defense It normally takes me 10 coins to summon Raquel while it would take 100 for a weaker mage to do and it would be their limit point. If I have to do a spell like that in my condition, it would cost me 100 coins. At this rate, using Angel Magic would be suicide" Victor said to himself only to be pushed into a wall by the throne curse with the thorns burying deep into his shoulders"UARRAGH"

"You already used quite a lot of magic, along with the poison coursing through your veins, using Angel Magic is no longer possible. Each coin you use represents your life force and so far you're not looking too good right now, it might've taken me to be killed and brought back as a demon but I finally bested your Angel Magic." Brandman laughed at Victor.

"If dying is what it takes to stop evil like you...i gladly give my life." Victor replied as he was ready to fight and breaks the thorns off him, damaging his hands in the process" I summon Thy Shamsiel" Victor chanted as he summons the angel to blast Brandman back with a powerful blast of light, burning the demon with mild burns which he blocked with his forearms. However, it cost him over 10 coins. "My health has deteriorated so much from the poison... He might be strong enough for me to use that if I use that...Just using that alone cost me 50 coins out of 100 and that's in good health, this particular summoning was forbidden by Zenotpia as it took 5 people to summon it at the cost of their own lives... However, he's no doubt powerful… Anything less would not be enough..damn this poison."Victor said to himself as he was struggling to breathe again as Brandman got back up.

"Your spell has gotten weaker. I think I took care of your deadliest form of magic, now to end you once and for all, Etherious Form, Blood Death God." Brandman said to him as he transforms his body, he maintains the look of the third seal but gains even more muscle mass, roughly the same muscle mass of Torafuzar, the same four-bladed arms of Zekel, the wings of Mard Geer's Etherious form, the tail and ears and foot paws of Jackals Etherious form, he then turns the form arms to have claws resembling Kyouka's Etherious form but in the shape of Zekel's blades for each finger with fin blades of Torafuzar. "Now then, time to die!"Brandman laughed as he then dashes at him.

Meanwhile at the center of the Infinity Castle near the altar

Noah was battling an Enchanted Mard Geer and Kyouka. While being less intelligent and skilled than they were alive, they were equally as powerful with their curse magic proving a problem.

Noah clashes with the two ladies fighting off their attacks however Kyouka uses her strongest attack which stuns him, Mard Geer sets up for Meeneot Mori however before he can do that, Noah punches the ground, and then himself, his body begins to power up.

"I never thought I have to use that form!" Noah said to himself as he was facing off against these two. "These creatures aren't as intelligent as they were alive, all the more reason to end this." Noah said to himself as his body glow reddish from the aura as his skin turned reddish and steam was coming from his body, everything around him was breaking into pieces from the sheer pressure of his magic.

"RRAWARGH" Kyouka roared as she charged at him with her claws spinning like a drill with lightning charging within the claws but the Noble knight dodged the attack and went to counter.

"All Crash!" Noah chanted as he punched the air, creating a massive shockwave that hit Kyouka, completely destroying her body into bits, completely destroying what was left of her. Mard Geer, nervous of what he saw, goes to attack back by ensuring him in thorns. He then goes to do his Memento Mori however Noah uses his Crash Magic to completely dispel the attack, shocking the demon."

"Incredibly it took everything we got for each of us just to kill one of them yet he did it so effortlessly." Irene said to herself as she was battling the creature protecting the Altair.

Noah goes to the ground and coughs up blood.

"I haven't fully recovered, I pushed myself too hard. That crash warrior form puts a strain on my power, combined with the damage they did with those cruises along with that poison, i'm kinda beat..thank god they weren't nearly as intelligent as they were alive otherwise i doubt i could've pulled off enough time to turn Crash Warrior form." Noah said to himself as he struggled to stand.

Meanwhile at the West Wing Chamber of Infinity Castle

Veronica was struggling against the faster Jackal who keeps blowing himself up to everything she attacks him and reforming himself now that he's a Zombie. She shoots a blast at him, blasting him in half which then explodes only for him to reform and appear behind her and swipe her with his claws, causing an explosion hurting Veronica.

"He's much tougher than I thought, as a zombie, he can be a huge problem, he can just explode himself and reform. I need to think of a way to beat him or I'm done for.

"URRAAHWARGH!" Zombie Jackal roared as he goes to attack Veronica again with a leaping strike which creates a large shockwave that blows rocks towards Veronica but she evades them as the rocks explode again, this causes the pillars to explode and collapse around her but she dodges the attack only to see the demon charge and fire a blast from his mouth which explodes anything it touches.

"I gotta try something else, nothing I'm doing is working on him...Wait I got it!" Veronica said to herself as she transformed herself into her Selah soul. She then levitates rocks around her and launches them at Jackal with such force, the price through his body as if they were arrows

"URRRAWAGH!" Zombie Jackal roared as he struggled to move, it then smirked as it was glowing as it was going to create a massive explosion.

"Here goes nothing, I hope this works!" Seliah Veronica said to herself as she went to use her Macro only to see Jackal denote and explode, creating a massive explosion. An explosion so powerful, it shakes the entirety of Infinity Castle and the city below it.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!" Zombie Jackal laughed as it seemed like Seilah Veronica was blown to bits however out of the smoke came a golden egg-like casing which Seliah came out of."URURARWAGH"Zombie Jackal roared looking distraught as Seilah Veronica was still alive.

"That was close, so Cruces really are more powerful than magic? Bending Manigum never felt easier, thankfully Manguium is still durable enough to withstand an explosion of that size, had you denotated it anywhere but the Infinity castle, an entire city or even a country would be ash, now time to end this'' Veronica said to Jackal as Jackal then leaps towards her but she wraps the Manigum she ripped from the floor and wraps his entire body in the near-indestructible metal with his explosions exploding and hurting the zombified creature as it struggles to break free" Now stand still!"Veronica said to Jackal as she used her Macro to break the creatures back, paralyzing the zombie "Now time to join your friend here" Veronica said to him as she grabbed his neck and began to absorb him into her own being.

"URRAWAARRGH!" Zombie Jackal roared as he was completely absorbed into Veronica.

"Now to remove the clock piece from this orb" Veronica said to herself.

Infinity Castle West Wing

At the chamber, Lena struggles against Ezkiel who despite being in a weakened state was able to cut through her strongest defenses.

"Nothing I'm doing is holding up against this monster, he's tougher to deal with than the last opponent." Lena said to herself as she goes to attack again

"Sand Rebellion '' she sends a wave of sand towards Ezekiel only for the attack to be easily slashed through by the Demon.

"RWWAERGH" Zombie Ezikel roared as he tried to use his tentacles to grab her

"Sand Wave"as she launches another large wave of sand to it Disperses in the water again and sinks to the bottom.

"HAHAHA!Stupid human! Sand is the worst element to fight my Black Water!" Torafuzar laughed as he went to attack her.

'What the hell?" Lena said, looking at the horrific sight of Zekiel.

"UARRGAHWAR!"The demon walled as it tries to slash at her but she blocks with her sand only to have her sand cut in half.

"The sand isn't strong enough to hold back his attacks!" Lena said to herself as Eiezkel lunged at her and ran his bladed arms through her body.

"RRRAGGRAHAHAHA!''Zombie Exikel laughed only to feel the body get heavier as it's revealed it stabbed a sand clone. The sand then covers the body of the zombified Etherious as he can't move.

"Gotcha, you might be able to cut through my attacks but you can't move your arms now. Now to finish you! Sands of Death" Lena chanted as she created a massive wave of sand which engulfs Ezekiel while he can't move, the sand completely destroys the zombified corpse of Ezekiel and buries him under the sand. Lena then grabs the orb.

Meanwhile at the East Wing

Erenjack was struggling against his opponent Torafuzar in his zombified state who flooded the entire temple area with his Black carbon water. While his Sea Emperor Armor protected him from drowning and the poison water, the heavyweight makes him much slower than Torafrauzar who's much faster underwater.

"This guy is way too fast underwater, this armor, by comparison, is nowhere near mobile enough underwater"Erenjack said to himself as he struggled to keep up with Torafuzar underwater as he was getting punched by the zombified creature. "Bright side is that the poison isn't seeping through but it won't last if he shatters this suit of armor. For something as big and heavy like him to move faster than a sonic swordfish underwater, it defies logic." Erenjack said to himself only to get punched in the gut

"RRAARRGH!" Zombie Torafuzar roared as he punched him again, and again and then punched him so hard, the armor was cracking from the force. Erenjack tries to swing his sword to slash the creature but the water pressure was negated by the dense water he was in.

"This water is so dense that even the Sea Emperor sword won't generate enough pressure," Erenjack said to himself"My armor won't last too long in this toxic water, much less against this monster. He's then punched again by the demon, he tries to slash it but Torwafuzar easily evades it and follows up with a dropkick, kicking Erenjack into a wall.

"RRAAGH!" Zombie Torafuzar roared as it widens its jaws and attempts to eat Erenjack but Erenjack summons his Everfrost sword and stabs the blade through his mouth, preventing the creature from devouring him.

"Sword of Everfrost!" Erenjack shouted as he summoned his forged sword. His blade was a long sliver claymore Along each edge of the sword was a rippling silvery white band which made it appear as if the edges burned with tongues of frozen fire. The presence of the sword was freezing the water. Erenjack swings the sword, shattering the Kami Tenchi water into trillions of harmless particles "Much better."

"RRRAWAGH" Torafuzar roared as it broke out of its ice casing on its body and turned its entire body into pure steel and went charging from Erenjack but the mage dashed at high speed moving like a blur of light.

"Sword of Everfrost: Zero Degree Slash" Erenjack chanted as he slashed straight through Torafuzar, spilling the demon cleanly in half vertically as the demon didn't even notice he was sliced in half until his body havles to freeze. He then swings his sword again and shatters the demon into millions of frozen pieces. "My master's blade claimed another demon's life. Rey Fullbuster, you have got your revenge on another demon who killed you."Erenjack said to himself as he went to grab one of the clock pieces.

Meanwhile at the Bottom Chamber of the Infinity Castle.

Nel is at the bottom chamber struggling against Franmalth who can absorb her attacks and his rubbery body makes him resistant to most forms of blunt force.

"You're not looking so good Fairy"1,000 Souls " Franmalth laughed at her as he swung his arms wildly and stretched them to punch Nel out of the air.

"Urrgh!" Nel grunted as she was downed by his punches "What a pain in the ass, he's able to absorb my attacks and it's hard for me to actually damage him even with my fists. Maybe because I'm not physically strong enough to hurt him, that's why...I got it" Nel smirked as she was ready to fight back.

"Still want more Fairy?"Franmalth arrogantly smirked.

"As a matter of fact, Yes!" Nel replied as she was ready to fire another blast.

"Fool, a blast can't kill me no matter what and even if you're successful in blowing me to bits, my body would reform and you would be spent, hence I get to devour your beautiful fairy body and add you to a growing collection of humans that would make me even more powerful than I am right now." Franmalth smirked as he was ready to catch the blast.

"Great Fairy Shooting Star" as she blasts a large beam of Fairy magic, Franmalth smirked as he was ready to catch the blast but the blast hits the ceiling of the floor and it causes a massive pile of rocks and debris to fall on him

"What? NOOOO!" Franmlath shouted as he was hit by the rocks. However, the demon burst out the rocks with a lump on his head "Don't think that's enough to kill me you little..." Franmlath mocked only to see Nel right in front of him

"Star Punch ''she goes to dash at him with a charged-up punch that hits Etherious in the Torso, going through Franmalth's chest.

"URRAAWHGH" Franmalth grunted as he coughed up a massive amount of blood, covering Nel, the blood gushes down his throat "Fool, doesn't matter, I can regenerate from your...Wait, what...NOOO" Frnamlath's body was getting more bloated and blood was coming out of his nonexistent eye and his skin was being to burn.

"You forget, Fairy Magic is like the silver arrow to you Demons. you have no way of absorbing it now that I smashed my fist into your internal organs Fairy Blast" Nel chanted as she fired a point-blank blast through Franmalth while her fist was impaled through him and completely vaporized the Demon without a trace of his body remaining. "Good riddance to him, he might've been a pain but that other asshole was tougher. Nel said to herself as she shot the orb, shattering it and taking another piece of the Infinity Clock.

Back at the Infinity Castle Altair

Victor barely evades his devastating combined power...However, Victor is able to stop his attack on the Hammer of Zentopia. Brandman then sees the hammer and gets terrified.

"Impossible… you had that hammer all the time." Brandman shouted as he then saw Victor swing the hammer and hit himself lightly on the chest, causing him to recover from the poison.

"That's right, this hammer is wielded by the greatest warrior of Zentopia history, one said to be close to the power of the Messiah Saint Paul, this hammer can negate the effects of all evil, even your deadly poisons." Victor explained to the Etherious demon as he was no longer affected by the MBP poison.

"Big deal, that hammer weighs as much as an elephant, you can't possibly move fast enough to.." Brandman smirked only to see Victor behind him and before he can move, was hit at the side of his torso and smacked into a nearby wall"URRGGH!"Brandman shouted as he coughed up blood. Lots of blood drips out of his mouth "Just one hit alone damaged me so badly... Damn him!" Brandman shouted.

"Onimaru" Brandman chanted as he created an explosive slashing wave but Victor swung his hammer, dispelling the attack.

"This holy Hammer dispels all evil that it has contact with " Victor said the Ehterious leader as the Etherious leader attempts to attack him with another combination of attacks.

"So you can cancel my attacks? Good but let's see if your bulky hammer can cancel all these attacks " Brandman chanted as he creates a massive wave of poison water which is dispelled by a single horizontal swing of the hammer, black carbonic water "Calamity Whirlwind" Brandman chanted as he hits Victor with a powerful tornado which sweeps up the poison water as well and then goes to shoot a blast of Lightning at the Tornado "Paint Bolt" Brandman chanted as he hits Victor with an immensely powerful blast of Lightning causing him immense pain.

"I'm going to blast you to oblivion" Brandman shouted as he was going to unleash his final attack.

But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. I call upon thy Saint Micheal '' Victor chanted as he sees the demon fire his attack.

"Take this, Nine Demon Gates: Hells Gate Assault" Brandman chanted as he fired all his attacks at once, forming into one large blast with Jackal's serial bomb blast, Ezekiel's Slash waves, Mard Geer's Thorns, Seliah's Marco, and Kyouka's Pain Bolts all mix into one blast which hits Victor dead on. Irene sees this while she was on the floor from the Mainiguim creature she was fighting.

"VICTOR!"Irene shouted as she saw the blast only to see the monster come towards her again but she blocked the centipede-like creature's attacks with her sword. She then goes to push the creature back. She then sees an aura around the Pope of Zneotpia shocking the Leader of Tartarus.

Saint Micheal emerged, he was a fully-humanized angel with long blonde hair, large muscles, Tall and had fair skin, he wielded a golden sword that was generating Light Energy." Victor" Irene shouted joyfully that he's alive as the centipede attempts to attack her only for her to block the attack with her sword.``I'm not done with you yet, I'm going to save Anna and stop this plan." Irene shouted as she goes to change her sword into the same one that beat Kyouka ""Hoshigmai No Satsuki Tsuin Ryu Burēdo (ツイン竜ブレードJapanese for Twin Dragon Blades)" Irene chanted as she powers herself up and creates a massive surge of crimson magical aura around herself as she transformed her blades into two Plasma like blades glowing around her hands with a blood-red crimson aura. She then dashes at the centipede at full speed,"Dragon Double Talon" Irene chanted as she dashed through the armored centerpiece, cutting a hole straight through it.

"RRQWAARGH!" The centipede roared as bloodshot out from its body but it's acidic and melts everything around it. Irene dodges the acidic blood.

"Finally some progress, I just need to keep my distance from that creature, I know just the way to slay the monster."Irene said to herself as she was ready to finish off the monster. Victor Meanwhile was planning to finish his fight.

"I summon Thy, Saint Michael" Victor chanted as he summoned his most powerful angel.

"Saint Michael...IMPOSSIBLE, NO HUMAN SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUMMON HIM ON HIS OWN MUCH LESS ABLE TO LIVE? IT TAKES 5 HOLY MONKS TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES TO DO SUCH A THING." Brandman shouted as he saw the angel loom over him.

"Indeed it shouldn't be, however, my mastery in Angel Magic is so powerful and my heart is so pure, it only takes half my life force to summon the Great Saint Michael, a mighty Angel who can slay even the mightiest of dragons." Victor explained to the demon as the summoning moved towards him.

"I WON'T GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO USE IT!" Brandman shouted as he went to his ultimate attack again. Nine Demon Gates: Hells Gate Assault"Brandman fires Kyouka's Pain bolt from one hand, A Marco blast from another hand, Omairu from his other hand, Exploding spiral from his other hand and combined Toerfuzar's black carbon water with calamity flames and wind from his mouth and grows two more hands to fire MBP blast and send an army of skeletons via Over Sekelter to surround Victor. However, Saint Micheal effortlessly stops each attack with a giant light shield "No, Nothing worked!" Brandman shouted as he went to try to attack again.

"Now time to end this, Saint Micheal, cast your judgment on thy, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place, there will be Judgement. Final Judgement' Victor chanted as he commands the angel as both of them get into a prayer position as golden glyphs appear around Brandman, Brandman desperately tries to outrun it but the circle expands wider under his feet. The clouds part form each other as a bright intense light is fired towards the Infinity castle and into the Altar, Brandman is hit directly

"NOOOOO! FUCKK!" Brandman shouted as he struggles to withstand the blast, he desperately tries to harden his body into the steel but to no avail, as the steel body begins to burn away, He tries to use Mard Geer and Franmalth's powers to absorb it but it was too much.

Meanwhile, the heavily wounded centipede then goes to attack Victor while he is firing his attack when Irene goes to stop him.

"Now's my chance!"Irene shouted as she went to attack the centipede.

"You might've killed me Victor Heartfilla but it's already too late, END is awakening as we speak. While you might've stopped us from awakening its the power to its true potential with your daughter being spared the fate of powering the Infinity Clock, fortunately, the Bei Tribe Princess hidden Phoenix powers have begun awakening the demon END"

"You vile demon, I'll stop that before it happens" Victor shouted.

"You can't stop END now, no one can. The Infinity Clock was the only way END could ever be controlled, now not a single being in this world could stop it. I know I'm going to die but I'm glad I bought enough time so your world would be like me...Ashes. You can only save one of those girls Victor, either way, the world will die to either END or Reality overdrive" Brandman said as his final words as he began to turn to ash. First, his skin burns off, then his muscles under the skin, then the organs and his skeleton, and then he turns into dust as the intense blinding light dies down. Victor then collapses on the ground heavily exhausted from the spell as Irene rushes to him.

"You okay?" She asked him.

"I barely made it, The Saint Michael Summoning is an extremely costly summoning even for someone of my power. It's a forbidden spell that should only be used when all else fails. Such power can kill even an S Class dragon in theory provided they're not light dragons but at the cost of one's life... Fortunately, I'm a lot more real; it...still I'm at my limit when it comes to magic." Victor explained to Irene.

"How are we going to save Anna and Eclair?" Irene asked him.

"It's up to you Irene, you must save both of them, get my daughter out of her containment and stop that book from activating," Victor said to Irene as he collapsed on the floor.

"I don't like this any more than you do but at least with END, we can work together to beat it. It's not entirely invincible, with the combined might of Dragonv and all the holy mages of Zentopia, we can prevail against it, if Reality overdrive is activated, we won't stand a chance as reality would be rewritten itself and we would have no chance of fighting back."Victor explained to the Queen of dragons.

"What about Eclair? We can't leave her to die!" Irene shouted.

"If you can save both that would be idle but you're past your magical limits right now, you can only cast Deus Zero another time, trying to cast it again would cause great pain and might even kill you." Victor warned her.

"Then I will gladly try another one." Iren replied back.

"You fool, if you die, then there would be no one to lead humanity in the upcoming war against the Dark Dragon Tribe."Victor scolded her for her reckless decision.

"If i die from this, then I was never truly worthy of the title Queen of Dragons" Irene replied back as she rushed to the Altar where Anna Heartfilla was. Only her face was sticking out the clock. Irene then jumps onto the clock altar and then goes to activate her spell"DEUS... ZERO!" Irene shouted as she cast her spell as she tried to pull Anna out of the clock, Irene struggled to move as it was taking its toll on her body, her body felt like lead weights while Anna felt like trying to move a Mountain. Irene feels Anna break free from the clock and she pulls her out successfully, stopping the activation of Reality overdrive. Anna wakes up.

"Irene, Dad... did we win?" Anna asked Irene who looked deeply exhausted with blood coming out of her mouth "IRENE!"

"No, we haven't won yet...I must..STOP Ecilar!" Irene shouted as she rushed to the flames.

"YOU FOOL, YOU'RE IN NO CONDITION TO ATTEMPT THAT SPELL AGAIN" Victor shouted as he struggled to move.

"DAD! You okay?"Anna asked her.

"I used all my power to stop Brandman, in the process I couldn't move." Victor Heartfilla said to his daughter.

"I did the same against Mard Geer and I lost Aquarius, we gotta do something, Irene is going to die if she exerts herself any more than she has already" Anna said to her dad worried about Irene.

"All we can do is hope she will prevail."The Pope replied.

Irene rushes headfirst into the flames using a magical shield to protect herself but the flames are so intense that even with the magical shield, Irene was feeling the intense heat as her skin was reading and she was sweating profusely. Her body was aching from exhausting herself of magical reserves as she was beyond her limits of plowed deeper into the flames that were so intense that they can rival Igneel's She was going to reach Eiclair's chest and activate her spell "Deus...Zero" but before the spell can be activated, she's blasted out and blasted past the flame barrier hitting the ground violently."URGH!"

"It;'s as we feared, Irene didn't have enough to save Eclair" Victor said to his daughter.

"This can't be happening." Anna paincked.

The Infinity castle begins to shake and collapse as the ground cracks under the pressure, derbies, and chunks of the ceiling begin to fall. Anna picks up her dad but he was heavy to pick up and he struggled to hold him only for Loki to appear to grab him.

"Sir Loki? but how?"Anna said shocked to see her spirit appeared.

"Your magical reserves might be empty but I still have my own, I'll admit I'm nowhere close to my full power but if it's to help a fair lady such as yourself escape here, I can suffice. Grab Irene, I'll handle your dad, a fairer sex with no magic would struggle to lift a man of your father's size." Sir Loki explained to her as he had Victor over his shoulders while Anna picks up Irene who couldn't move.

" I couldn't stop END...I'm a failure!" Irene said solemnly as Anna picked her up and carried her.

"Don't beat yourself up, we all tried our best. We haven't lost yet, we need to fight more than ever." Anna said to her best friend as they ran out of the collapsing temple. Loki, Victor, Anna, and Irene are met by the rest of the gang.

"What's going on? I thought we stopped END from activating" Erenjack asked them.

"We only had enough power to stop reality overdrive. We must all regroup and rest up to stop END"

"Would we even have the time? At this rate, END is due to attack any minute" Lena asked him.

"We don't have the time to think about this, we need to get out of here fast" Rena stated as flames started to appear around them.

"We need to get out of this temple fast"Veronica said to everyone as the temple then collapsed.

The Infinity Castle begins to descend away from Crocus and goes towards the city limit mountainside where it then explodes, creating a massive explosion. It was revealed that the entire team was saved by a last-minute appearance of Igneel and Beslerion who both landed at Mercilus courtyard. Igneel had Veronica, Noah, Rena, and Nel while Belserion had Irene, Victor, Anna, Erenjack, and Lena on their backs.

"Nice save Belserion" Irene said to her dragon grandpa.

"We barely made it in time, the defenses of Infinity Castle were much greater than expected," Igneel explained to Irene.

"For once I'm glad a dragon saved my ass, had we stood there, we would all be ashes in the wind."Nel said to Igneel.

"Guys don't look now but I think we have serious problems" Enrejack said to them as a massive flame pillar appeared from the mountainside.

Phoenix emerges from her body from the stone, Phoenix emerges from the flames.

"URRRRAAARRWAAGHA!" the demon roared with a massive thundering roar bursting all the windows in Crocus. The impact of the shockwave can be felt across the country as the demon's roar caused a shriek within the land. The roar of the monster travels across the world as the skies start to darken across the world.

"We're too late." Irene shouted.

"The Phoenix, it's emerged…" Victor Heartfilla stated.

The phoenix emerged out of the blue, the monster was like a giant dragon that towered over the skyline of Crocus as it emerged over the city. It was a giant creature with a dragon-like body that had a rocky body. The demon was miles away within clover valley but could still be seen from Mercilus.

(A/N: Sorry for the delays everyone, the pandemic had me busy attending to affairs at home and trying to make money online without the ability to seek a job currently. The last 15 months has been hard for all of us and has drastically affected the storyline within here and Bleach Shippuden. By this time last year, i planned to finish the Tartarus Arc and begin the Dragon King Festival Arc and Finish Bleach Shippuden but life has been hard and having the energy and motivation to write between the pandemic blues and work online has been rough. I will finish this arc this month and hopefully be in the middle of the Dragon King Festival at the end of 2021 and be closer to beginning the transition into the mainline Fairy Tail series by spring of 2022. Whether i plan to continue the Soul Ninja sequel for Bleach Shippuden would remain unknown as i feel unmotivated to continue the Bleach Shippuden series but will finish the story that has been going on for a whole decade so that show would go on.

It's alive, yep the final climax of the arc is amongst us as we see the Phoenix from the Phoenix Priestess emerge thanks to the Infinity Clock and the sacrificial ritual used to withdraw him out. Yep, Phoenix from the Phoenix Priestess movie is the prototype to END AKA the prototype to Natsu Dragneel. Had Reality Overdrive been activated, the Phoenix would've instantly turned into Natsu Dragneel and hence END would've been created and humanity would've been doomed from the get go, considering END is enough to kill Zeref who's true power eclipses all dragons with the exception of the 5 Dragon Gods and Acnologia. Think of this as fighting Biolizard from Sonic Adventure 2. Either way, this should be an interesting take no sooner we get to the key to the Starry Sky Arc or the Phoenix Priestess Arc.

The system Edeas is an ancient system of measurement of magical power prior to the invention of MPF many years later. Edea is a measure of magical power that is generated from the mage consuming or producing Etherano from the atmosphere. It was measured by the mass and weight of the being equal to the output of magical power on ancient scales. While in Fairy Tail, this system was never explained, here I equate it to the energy value of Hydrogen and the energy density of Hydrogen per Kilogram which is roughly 141.8 Megajoules or 33.9 of TNT per Kg. An average mage should be capable of producing as much magical pressure as they are their own human weight. 1 Edeas would be the equivalent of a B rank Mage, to put in energy terms, an average mage can produce about 50kg-70kg of Ethernato mass charging their magical power, this would give an average mage roughly 1.4-2 Tons of TNT of magical output which is consistent to feats shown within Fairy Tail's bottom tiers. In contrast, a Dragon can easily output 1,000 to 10,000 times their own magical power in Edeas, meaning a 180 ton to 1,000-ton dragon would be producing between and tons of magical power from its body.

The methodology was eventually abandoned given the flawed measurement required and equalized dragons with the human output when an average Dragon by weight alone was producing 28.571 Megatons of TNT equivalence by sheer exertion of magical power by weight and mass, by contrast, it would require over 14,000 human mages to even remotely come close to a single dragon's mere mass/Edea level let alone the fact they can produce 1,000 to 10,000 times their own body mass in magical power meaning an average Dragon is producing between 28.571 Gigatons to 285.71 Gigatons of TNT equivalence in body mass/magic ratio. It would take Billions of average human mages to come close to an Average Dragon despite the Edea gap merely being 10,000 between an average human and a Dragon hence an average Dragon would be beyond the 2.7 Billion Edea range when in reality, they're nowhere near the output of Ehtertion which has an output range as high as 43.933 Petatons of TNT, hence why the system was declared obsolete around x754 and replaced with the MPF system.

Sorry for the major delays within the fan fiction, it's not been a good year for anyone within 2020, some troubles occurred and I had to handle them but I'm back now and going to be trying as hard as possible to start and finish the upcoming Dragon Festival Arc within this year trying to make up for a lost time while also trying to balance out my art career off this site. Anyways expect a very explosive climax to the Past Tartarus Arc.

As for Victor Heartfilla, he's the man, myth, and legend within this story and boy did his badassery pay off within this chapter. Yep, there's a reason why this guy is the Pope of Zentopia and the most powerful mage alive at the moment aside from Nolah Clive and Irene herself. As one knows, Brandman is comparable to Gajeel and Natsu within their base forms Second Timeskip which is an insane amount of power that is beyond even the strongest member of Tartarus as noted by Gray's comments on Brandish's immense power and it took Gajeel Dragon Force to beat Brandman. The power gap between Victor Heartfilla and Irene currently is so great that it only shows Irene has much to learn before she reaches her endgame canon power level.

As for the Hammer of Zentopia, famously wielded by Erza Scarlet within the Key to the Starry Sky Arc, yep it has its own lore into it. It's a hammer that's basically the Fairy Tail equivalent of Thor's hammer except much bigger and nowhere near as broken. Only the holiest of hearts and most iron of wills can truly utilize that hammer, and you need to be insanely strong as the hammer weighs a whopping 7 tons. Someone like Anna who has an iron will and holy heart would probably not be able to lift this hammer due to the insane weight but unsurprisingly Victor Heartfilla can and as seen with this battle, in the right hands, would fodder even the strongest demons with it. Yeah, I added lore to this hammer to give it a bit more weight and also to highlight how much of a monster Erza is, no seriously I did the math on the hammer and if you were to make a hammer of that size, it would be the weight of 3 average size cars stacked onto each other.
