Chapter Six: True visage(Part-2)

….

Their fists clashed for what felt like a thousand times.

Majority of the binghen forest had been demolished. Shirou knew he would have to get an upper hand over his adversary.

"Gnat, it seems you aren't a pushover, let's even out the odds shall we?"

The Heretic God took a breath and gained some distance between them to get a brief moment's respite.

"For I am your ancestor, oh crooked and fierce bellied ones, by the call of lineage I roar at thee, come with gnashing teeth, blood at your claws, time has come for the feast of flesh and blood."

The ground below swelled up, as if somehow it had been turned into rubber and being stretched and pulled up by tongs.

Then slowly they took shape like clay or putty being shaped before they settled and took consummated shapes.

Slowly they gained color and their visage became evident.

Onis, ogres and yokais.

Various kinds.

Tsuchigumo, kuchisake-onna, jugoromo, kitsunes, kappa, gashadokuro and many other types.

Over thousands of them. It's an army. They have come forth with the invitation to feast on blood and intestines.

They came at Shirou from all angles, sometimes even hundreds of them at once.

Shirou simply ripped them into shreds with winds and those that got close got turned into meat paste through sheer force dwelling in Shirou's body.

This was a battle between two people who themselves are forces of nature.

Shirou wasn't sure how the self-proclaimed hero was doing this. He was at his wit's end. Although it was mentioned in the myth about Issun-boshi vanquishing an ogre, nowhere was it mentioned about him having the capability to summon ayakashi of all things.

And this couldn't be the crystallization of his supposed triumph over a single ogre.

Shirou could be considered the foremost specialist in the world when it comes to noble phantasm. There is so much of a hero's glory that can be crystallized. And vanquishing a single ogre can by no means grant one complete Authority over spectre kind.

No, there's more to it. Something about him doesn't add up. Issun boshi, a minor folk hero, showed further prowess than even lancer. And lancer was a demigod sired by the chief god of Ireland.

Unless he isn't issun-boshi at all….

Maybe the guy is just pretending to be one.

Shirou despite not being a heroic spirit himself could reproduce their crystallize legend on demand, perhaps this is a similar case

No, the information he gained from structural analyzing the needle and hammer proved him solidly to be Issun-boshi.

However, that still doesn't show how he would be summoning ayakashis.

Damnit, he needs solid information to gain an upper hand.

The number of yokais is constantly increasing. Their number is over tens of thousands.

A distraction is needed.

Instantly three sun from Shirou's reality marble came into his grasp.

First throw an army towards the demons.

"O guardian, of the Golden Fleece I beseech thee!"

From the ground the earth swelled over like a balloon. Before it took a distinct shape, the shape of a dragon, at least the size of a skyscraper. The highest of the phantasmal kind, a divine beast of the millennia rank.

Before the distinct earth dragon gained color, scale colors of molten gold. No not molten gold, they are gold. Gold that has taken the shape of scales. A horn on its snout. Bat like wings. Powerful hind legs and frontal strong arms. A long tail with a sword-like end. Claws and teeth the shape of swords. Reptile like eye.

The beast roared in defiance.

Screw with the secrecy of magecraft, sealing designation is now the least of Shirou's concern.

Another sun came to Shirou's grasp.

A riding crop made itself to Shirou's hand.

Shirou used Invisible Air to flew into the dragon's back before taking a step on its golden scale.

The dragon instantly became alarmed and roared again. Before it could shake Shirou off, Shirou instantly used the riding corp as a loop to tie the dragon's neck.

There was fierce resistance for a brief moment before it was crushed with the might of the authority of medusa.

Spontaneously a connection was established, Shirou had successfully turned the dragon into his familiar albeit temporarily.

"Greetings my liege"

What! Who was it now?

An interloper?

"It's me, my liege, I am below you"

Wait, the dragon? Can it talk?

"That's rude of you my liege. Even though you are my rider and king and I your vassal, I at least expect to be called by my name. Not in a demeaning way"

Shirou wasn't sure how to respond. It's the highest kind of phantasmal species that could lay waste to an entire country rendering nuclear arms and magic useless.

Yet it's acting like a child.

"How rude, I am not a child. I am a proud and noble beast"

Seems like it can read his mind.

"Obviously, the riding corp of the serpent goddess has temporarily established familiar contact between us. No normal magecraft even in the age of gods could bind me. Even king Aeetes needed the help of Helios to bind me."

"Ah sorry about that. I didn't mean to be rude. I don't know your name"

"Well at least you are humble, king Aeetes never apologized to me nor did he ever call me by my name. He was always "Dragon, do this. Dragon do that." Always ordering me around like a servant. One nasty arrogant king he was. Serves the bastard right for all he got. I accept your apology. By the way my name is Argonia."

"I am sorry for summoning you in a dire situation like this. I further apologize for using Bridle Chivalry on you. However in such a dire situation I needed every cards at hand and their full cooperation"

"Fret not, my liege. We will emerge victorious. With me and my brethren by your side, defeat is simply not an option for you."

"Brethren?"

The dragon didn't reply, he simply roared.

The earth swelled again. Before taking shape. These shapes were far smaller than Argonia, however they had a distinct color and shape similar to him.

"Hey, It's 'Her'."

"'Her' wait, you are a female?"

"Why, have you got anything against women?" the dragon asked, annoyance clear in her voice.

"Ah, no. I just thought the famous Colchis dragon would be male. I am neither sexist nor have anything against womankind."

The dragon seemed satisfied with his answer. The smaller earth statues have now gained similar shape and colour albeit on the smaller size than Argonia.

Wyverns.

Ancient Grecian people used to call them sun dragons.

They served the sun god Helios.

With another roar from Argonia, the wyverns proceeded to jump into the fray. Intending to tear the hero and his army of yokais apart.

The hero in question had resummoned his needle sword in one hand and Hammer in the other hand.

"Your orders my liege."

"Keep him busy for a while. I intend to use another of my power to collect information"

Argonia simply knocked the needle sword away with his tail and in response to the hammer released his dragon breathe at the hero.

Concentrated amount of golden colored prana that was searing light was released at the hero.

Shirou briefly dislodged from the dragon's back.

Keeping himself levitated at the air with Invisible Air, Shirou deployed his authority.

"Reveal yourself, road to babel. Now is the time to gaze at the abyss."

Instantly the third sun lowered from Shirou's reality marble and till it was at his head level before it slowly shrunk and entered Shirou's eye.

Instantly a lot of images, information and folklore entered Shirou's mind. Shirou was almost overwhelmed.

.

What is a God?

Many asked this question.

Many sought answers.

Some through priesthood and some through studying of magecraft and scriptures.

What constituted them, what made them different from mortal humans?

What distinguished them, what made them unique?

What made them, "Them" and us, "Us?"

Gods are concepts.

Physical personification of natural phenomena.

A concept that has a physical form of its own.

Thus they can't permanently cease to be unless the very concept which embodies them ceases to be.

Ancient people didn't knew why sun rose and set, why moon waxed and waned. They don't know why people died or why storms occur.

Instinctively due to not knowing the answer they interpreted this phenomena as gods.

The planet responded to this immense faith and belief by materializing them as distinct physical shapes corresponding to their belief.

And that's how Gods came to be.

Human faith and belief is the core aspect which defines them and their strength.

And thus Gods for gaining further strength sought their worship and interfered with humanity often siring offspring with them to bridge the gap.

However, they are the personification of phenomena and the world tends to abide by the logic of the species which had a solid foundation and numerical advantage.

As through the progress of civilization humanity interpreted the same phenomenon in different ways, Gods who embodied the same phenomenon thus may differ.

Egyptians interpreted the sun as a solar disk that is being carried in a barque by the one called Ra.

Grecian people interpreted the sun as the chariot driven by a Entity called Apollo or occasionally Helios.

While Aztec believed the sun to be a feathered serpent.

The world responded to all these beliefs.

Thus various sun gods are allowed to exist even though there was only one celestial body.

All of them had one thing in common that was they derived power from a certain concept and personified and embodied the exact same concept.

They were thought to be the earthly manifestation of the distant celestial body.

However as humanity faith and belief if their existence sustained so did the faith of their aspect of power changed as humanity interpreted them and syncretized them with others.

This changed their attributes, powers and occasionally their visage.

One god fragmented and became many and often many gods would amalgamated into a single one.

Warrior gods would most likely follow the similar process of the forging of a sword such as bathing in liquid of supernatural origin such as dripping in an underworld river or blood of dragons, thus getting a near indestructible body of steel. They became god of the military or god of battle. God born for the purpose of battle thus possessed the attribute of immortality in the battlefield. The dragons and serpent they slayed were incarnations and emanations of mother earth goddess and the reduced state of mother earth goddess was none other than the priestess or princess who had to marry the youth. The armament they gained through their journey was the power either given or forcibly attained was originally the power of the mother earth goddess.

Basically through the distortion of myth the usurpers were portrayed as heroes and saviors and the violation, loss of power and subsequent degradation as divine ancestors (dragons-when they sacrifice their life force and temporarily regain divinity turning back into a dragon) and essentially the conquer and exploits of heroic gods of steel were legitimized. Common attributes of theirs is tough and endurable body or skin made of iron or sword gained from basking in liquid originating from earth such as dragon blood or bathing in river styx or from being broken down, refined and reforged in a manner or shape similar to swords or gaining an impenetrable armor. Though it is an attribute found commonly in gods of steel they however are not the only beings to monopolize them.

Being a god of war essentially doesn't make one a god of steel example-Athena. Actually a lot of mother earth goddesses were war goddesses and actively caused or participated in war. Example- Ishtar,Astarte,Anat,Aphrodite,Cybele,Isis,Sekhmet,Hera and some goddesses of death- Nyx, Ereshkigal,Athena etc. Basically they were the personification of the destructive and cruel side of earth, namely the birth giver of monsters, serpents and dragons and the cold winter and famine which took life while Demeter and goddesses of fertility and crops are life-giving aspects of earth.

Such are the existences called heretic gods…..

It is unknown when the modern tale came about, but it is generally considered to have existed before the end of the Muromachi period. The theme of a "tiny child" is thought to have originated from Sukuna-hikona. Occasionally written variously, including Sukunabikona. Meaning "small earth god": suku is "small", na is "the earth", hiko is "male god", and na is a suffix of Japanese mythology.

Sukuna-hikona acts as a medium for the Dōjō Hōshi of the Nihon Ryōiki and Sugawara no Michizane of the Tenjin Engi and is connected to the Ko Otoko no Sōshi ("Book about the Small Man") from the Middle Ages and the otogi-zōshi of the modern ages.

It has been pointed out that just like how the nation-creator god Sukuna-hikona appeared near water, the main character of the old tale "Chiisa-ko" (small child) is in some way related to the world of water and is related to the existence of a faith in a water god.

For an old couple not to have any children is an abnormality within the community and for such abnormal persons give birth in an abnormal way such as by praying to a god and giving birth from the shin to a person in the form of a pond snail, as one would find in the tale Tanishi Chōja, is the normal course for tales about heroes and children of god.

As the Issun Bōshi of the otogi-zōshi became famous, people of various different lands started calling their folktales and legends about little people "Issun Bōshi" as well.

In the Edo period, "Issun Bōshi" was used as a pejorative term against short people, and in kyōka books about yōkai such as the Kyōka Hyakki Yakyō and the Kyōka Hyaku Monogatari, Issun Bōshi were written about to be a type of yōkai.

However there exists a story about a similar yokai called Amanojaku. A tiny one inch yokai, a malevolent spirit and oni. Which often entered the hearts of people and drove them insane, sick and occasionally led them to depravity and sin.

And thanks to similar pronunciation and common attributes the Yokai Amanojaku has been thought to be the reference towards the goddess of the same name and syncretized to be the same being. Who was borne by Storm god Susanoo through his wrathful Aramitama.

The myth describes this deity as having a furious temper, a beastly head with a long nose, long ears, and great fangs so strong they can chew through metal blades , and to be capable of flying for a thousand miles.

She is the ancestor of all yokais and Ayakashis. All of whom share her malevolent, bloodthirsty and crooked nature.

Amanozako has been known to be a goddess that goes against conformity and does the opposite of what is expected by society and social norms. Also, it is said that Amanozako is picky, and will go into an atrocious rage if she does not get what she wants, or if things do not go according to her way. Her wrath cannot be stopped.

In terms of her godly abilities, the legends and stories say that Amanozako is a trickster, of sorts. She likes to possess the hearts of humans and manipulate their emotions and personalities.

So, how did the story of Isuun-bishi can be related to Sukuna-hikona and Amanojaku?

Just like how Ōkuninushi no Mikoto or Ōnamuchi, meaning "big earth": Ō means "big", na means "the earth", and muchi is an honorific; helped Sukuna-hikona create the nation, it often happens that a little person and giant would appear as a pair and would each separately have the different aspects for being a hero: power and knowledge.

The giant would be lacking in knowledge and would thus fall and be reduced to being an oni or laughingstock, whereas the little person, on the other hand, would make use of cunning and as a result eventually become a fully formed adult and return home to live happily ever after. A tiny child would, of course, be let off the hook for malicious deeds.

In the Tawara Yakushi tale a different tale. An old tale about a cunning lad, a wicked and cunning child who displays not a single bit of a hero's sense of justice appears as the main character of this story, and in it he thoroughly trounces and kills his rich employer using a method similar to Issun Bōshi's but of course in a wicked manner. The child lies and tricks his master one time after another until finally he pushes his master over a levee and kills him as a result and after that forces the master's wife to marry him. Thus the story closes with "and so he became married to the unwilling Widow" a comedic tone full of parody and black humor.

Be it the usurpation or attainment of his Master's wife, daughter, property or authority-they denoted the depraved side of the dwarf, not it's heroic side.

Similarly the ogre from which he gains his wishing mallet is none other than a fellow earth god or a god of fortune.

This boy who obtains wealth and a woman by means of lies and slaughter is basically the flip side appearance of the Issun Bōshi who obtained an oni's treasure and a woman by means of wisdom and is none other than the descendant of the aforementioned "Chiisa-ko" god.

The cruelty of the boy in the Tawara Yakushi is directed at innocent others. In fact, he would even go so far as to deceive and take advantage of the weak, such as the blind or beggars with eye illnesses, so that they would take the blame and die in his place.

Not always was the dwarf god's symbol of heroism. In ancient society which was heavily oriented towards the glory and heroism of strong and able bodied warriors, there was no place for a dwarf's tale of heroism. Due to their physical defect they themselves were considered abnormal and thereby shunned. Occasionally they were considered ill omen and often killed in adulthood. Thus to become established in society they had to resort to trickery, banditry and fraudulence.

This slaughter of others reveals a dark side to the village where the killing of others can be considered a form of compensation. As the tale humorously makes fun of a wicked usage of wisdom, it makes a show of how wisdom has a destructiveness that can surpass society's sense of order as well as the complexities of the village's society. It is said that wisdom is filled with dangerous power that can turn righteousness and purity meaningless and laugh away at the stability and orderliness of society important for maintaining political power. Sukuna-hikona is a god who created the nation as well and the creator god of chemical technology such as drugs (medicine), narcotics, poison and alcohol, such "wisdom" by itself is not a representation of societal orderliness.

In other words the amalgamation of all these dwarf gods who also played the role of tricksters- that is the origin of Isuun-boshi.

"How dare you?" The god snarled. Eyes bloodshot with rage, frothing at the mouth.

"How dare you gaze at my origin, my past, the shameful past that I want to hide, you dare bring it up?" If gaze could kill. Shirou would have been incinerated.

Honestly, the majority of the information harvested through Sha Naqba Imuru went over Shirou's head. Honestly, Earth Gods, Steel god and syncretism changing Gods, one god becoming another and many gods becoming one are foreign concepts to Shirou.

How can something like a god change?

How can many gods become a single entity? It was beyond Shirou. It was like a matryoshka doll that had many layers each hiding secrets of a god's multifaceted nature. How do they even cope with it. Do they develop dissociative disorder or something?

Sukunahikona, Amanojaku, Issun-boshi they were all the same being. At least according to this world's metaphysical nature from what his clairvoyance could tell.

Argonia had done a fine job. She and her army of wyverns have nearly culled the number of yokais to that of one tenth of its number.

Let's give them a hand, shall we.

Shirou's pupil turned flaxen colored again and the iris became rectangular.

Instantly all the yokais were turned into stone, however the wyverns were left untouched. Shirou could selectively turn anything or anyone into stone, a privilege their original owner couldn't enjoy.

The wyverns gave roars of victory. A battle fought well.

The God simply gazed at his subordinates and sneered. Before waving his hand. All the stone statues broke and turned into dust.

"To push me this far that I even had to bring out those filth. Your resilience is greater than that of a cockroach"

"So I have been told. Besides for a hypocrite and pretender, a Yokai ancestor God who was pretending to be a valorous hero, you have no right to lecture me about resilience" Shirou threw a barb.

This guy was getting on his nerves.

"Perhaps I don't, however all manners of shame and hypocrisy can be washed away with victory. In the end victory is the only thing that matters. I can bury my shame and hypocrisy into oblivion by washing it with your cooling blood. After all what others don't know won't bother them"

Shirou retook his stance. He had a bad feeling about this.

"Your lies, your shame, I speak of them. I whisper them in your heart. Let ruin enter, let the grievance of Uriko-hime enter you heart"

The only thing that could be likened to the newly unleashed authority was Angra Mainyu's auditory curses. No this was far worse.

This was manipulation of emotions at base level. Negative emotions like hatred, bloodlust, greed, rage, lust, envy, wrath, gluttony were multiplied hundred fold. Very sanity was about to evaporate.

It was a primeval call to get lost in primal evil desires, give into one's innate evil. A call to drown in madness. An invitation to give into one's killing impulse.

The authority of Amanojaku, the anecdote of it entering into one's heart to sow depravity and evil.

Before Shirou's very own eyes the army of wyverns tore each other apart and began cannibalizing each other.

Shirou instantly recalled Argonia back, letting the divine beast and riding corp disappear in his reality marble, fearing worse if the dragon fell into insanity.

Thanks to Avalon, Shirou had relatively better defense against such mental manipulations, Avalon was quiet resistance against curses and mental attacks. His own mental resilence thanks to possessing a reality marble and magic resistance was high enough.

Even than he had to pour huge amount of magical energy into avalon to restrict his negative desires lest he loses his sanity.

It was gnawing like a hungry beast at the edge of Shirou's mind. His iron solid mental defense rusting as minutes go by.

Shirou gritted his teeth, and bite onto his lips and draw blood, coppery taste entered his mouth. However instead of feeling repulsed he felt joy and desire to drink more and more.

Relish in blood…

Relish in pleasure…

Relish in Flesh….

Relish in…..

"Guh! Damn it." He nearly gave into his impulses….Get a hold of youself Shirou.

Shirou poured more magical energy to it barely holding onto his sanity..

The gnashing grind against his mind barriers were barely holding onto itself.

"Not enough Hah! Very well, a new body will be nice I guess. Your heart is my abode, your depravity is my abode, your mind is my abode, and your body is my abode. Relinquish my abode unto me."

Before Shirou's very own eyes the God's physical vessel returned back into normal size and began to turn into black smoke.

Instantly two red eyes gazed back at Shirou from the black smoke; the smoke instantly spreaded around Shirou.

Shirou's lungs felt heavy. His throat felt constricted and his head was spinning.

Shirou activates Sha Naqba Imuru to figure out what's going on.

Possession. This bastard was trying to take over his body. "Invasion of abode"

was the name of this authority. It was literally entering into his abode namely his body and forcibly taking control over it by devouring his soul.

Shirou instantly activated Avalon and poured gargantum amount of prana into it. His aim was to shield not his body but his soul. The evil deity has already entered his abode.

…. When Shirou opened his eyes he was astonished to find himself at his reality marble. The familiar twillight world and monolithic black gears are dead giveaway.

The ever present hill of swords and grave marker like swords were ever present.

His soul given form.

The central of his obsession and desire.

His only achievement and glory

The eulogy and ballad of heroes.

Unlimited blade works.

However he wasn't alone. There was someone else there as well.

An intruder who was not invited.

An intruder who intended to defile this world, corrupt it, taint it with his heresy.

All the swords and armaments are crying at rage at this sacrilege, demanding he deliver them retribution.

"What is this place? '' a familiar voice said.

A voice that was Shirou's cause of distress for the last hour.

" Gae bolg, Cadalbolg, Vajra, Mac an luin, Durandal, Ascalon,Naegling and many more. So many arms of legend...This…. This...world it's magnificent. Yes….this is the treasure I was looking for. This world will be mine. This world will become my possession, with this world I will be able to become a God of Steel. I will show those arrogant fools that I am no upstart. With this I will put all of them in their place. Yes, yes!" It sounded like the rabble of a madman.

The essence of an earth god had come in contact with the essece of raw purified steel.

It resulted in the distortion of the deity's psyche and metaphysical soul, his very concept and essence. This deity had lost his sanity because he tried to possess something that will never be his, never could be his.

It goes against his fundamental nature. A god of earth will always remain a god of earth and a god of steel will always remain a god of steel.

This delusional sod tried to evade that destiny, challenge it and broke in the process.

Trying to take the essence of steel without having the steel devouring serpent trait resulted in him being twisted horribly.

He tried to rob Shirou of his sanity and lost his own sanity in the process.

Ironic and tragic.

"This world will never be yours if I have anything to say about it"

"Oh! You are still alive. Does it matter what a monkey desires. You are merely a meat puppet that needs to become by vessel. Once I completely assimilated myself with this flesh…."

"You simply don't understand, do you? You Evil God, this very world is my soul given form. This world is my materialized soul. This world is not for the likes of you… This world can only be possessed by those who adore and revere heroes, this world preserves the concept of glory and heroism. You who made a mockery of the concept of heroism will be refused regardless of how stronger you become. For my soul perceives your very existence as unwanted"

"Irrelevant, I just have to devour your soul and…." Shirou no longer had the patience to delude this lunatic.

Shirou has already confirmed that this being is a deity. With Avalon guarding his very soul he never had to worry about it getting devoured.

The only thing this mad deity managed to do was enter his reality marble, and in doing so he had secured his own doom

"Enkidu"

Invisible air surrounded the chains as they were turned invisible and further isolating them with Avalon, they silently approached the deity.

The mad raving deity didn't stood a chance as he was wrapped around the chains rendering all attempts made by the god to activate his authority or using his powers to escape.

"What is this, what is this, what are these chains? Why can't I activate my authority?

Answer me devil king"

"You thought you secured victory by invading my body. But in truth you only hastened your own demise. "A rainbow iridescent jagged dagger, used for rituals, made itself into Shirou's hand.

Rule breaker.

Dagger of the witch of betrayal.

A dagger which converted all magecraft and contracts to zero by returning them to a state before they were made.

What was possession but a one way forced contract!

"To tell the truth you could have won if you fought from the outside world. But your own greed and so called wisdom turned out to be your undoing"

" Release me, release me you imbecile. You can't prevent me from taking this treasure. You aren't worthy of this treasure. This treasure belongs to me…"

Blah! Blah! Blah!

Honestly why is he always forced to cater to delusional…..

This is the second person who called dibs on his reality marble.

Without thinking for a second Shirou stabbed himself with the dagger.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh….." A long piercing scream came from the dwarf god. Result of the dispelling of a forced contract nearly tore the deity's soul apart.

Shirou opened his eyes to find himself at the exact same spot on the outside world barely a second had passed.

"My treasure, my treasure, give me my treasure back. I could become a hero, a true god of steel with this treasure…."

Did he finally lost it…..

Apparently he was delusional from the beginning.

Perhaps forced entry into a foreign world finally resulted in the short-circuit of his brain.

Apparently he is dead set on taking his reality marble, an impossible and futile act.

It would be better to end this idiot's misery.

The god was still bound by Enkidu. After binding a deity it will never let him go unless he wills it.

The god was lying in front of him powerless and bound. Raving like a madman. Truly he was delusional.

He was evicted from his body while still bound after the forced termination of the possession.

On demand, the sword of ever promised victory made itself into Shirou's grasp. He began to charge prana into it.

"I welcome both Heroes and Tyrants to partake in the glory of my world. However those who makes mockery of the concept of heroism will never be given salvation in that world. You forced your way in not to partake in its glory but to defile it. An evil divine spirit like you can only make a grave there. Not be received as a guest of honor….."

The deity was still raving like a madman, something about revenge, treasure and many more ramblings about how he was a deity and thus deserves all treasure….

Shirou didn't bother to listen anymore.

"Ex-calibur" all the prana was unleashed at a point blank range.

Even ashes didn't remain.

Such was the pathetic end of a glory seeking, greedy and delusional God.

Bound and slaughtered like a common animal

He who wanted to become a hero by tormenting and stealing from others.

The hunter became the haunted.

The prey became the hunter

A fitting end for the chapter of this drama.

Don't you think mortals?

….

Shirou's new authorities:

God of Small things:

An authority that let's Shirou manipulate mass, volume and density. It's extremely versatile. Shirou can increase the mass of his swords while hurling them for increasing damage. He can deprive his enemy of their armaments by shrinking them. Against beings with little magic resistance he can shrink their mass and size and crush them. Even divine ancestors and divine beasts will fall to it. He can reduce the mass and size of projectiles aimed towards him to decrease damage. Even energy based projectiles can be targeted and shrunk.

He can increase his own mass to gain giant form and further increase his strength. He can decrease his own volume and mass to evade attacks. He can alter his density to further increase his resistance against physical force.

He can increase the size of foods to enjoy more or increase the mass of gold, noble metals, jewels and reagents to enjoy more.

To tell the truth there are many more applications of this authority.

Chant: Let the demarcation between heaven and earth be eliminated.

Tamanoishi:

An authority that is sukunabikona's anecdote of a god of healing and hotsprings. that helps him create healing hot springs. After selecting a place for the creation of Hot springs Shirou will have to dig a hole and chant the incantation. It will result in hot water that have healing properties to emerge from within the hole and dripping in it will recover prana, recover wounds, diseases and injuries. The water once taken to an earthen pot will turn into rice wine drinking which yields the same benefit.

Chant: I august lord of the renown now invite thee. O mother earth, please bestow life in water.

Bounty of fruitful Harvest:

An anecdote to sukuna bikona being the God of agriculture. It increases the production of agricultural products and yields good crops and harvests by blessing the land with fertility. It can also be used to manipulate ley lines and create new artificial leylines. Similarly it's possible to curse the land to yield no harvest and destroy or completely dry up leylines.

Chant: I small lord of renown now humbly offer thee sacrifice, now is the time for be fruitful. Gather you sythe let us reap and sing. O mother earth please bestow thy blessing in this august land.

Chant (When creating leylines):O mother earth I offer thee my heart. Pour your blood unto it.(Instantly the land he was standing upon will be converted into a leyline and connect with the nearset leyline which will passively increase land fertility and crop production)

Chant (When cursing a land to yield no crops): O mother hear my plea, take my sorrow and greviance. Hear my rage, return it with curse.(Instantly the land upon which he was standing upon and cursing will become barren)

Chant (when cursing a land to be disconnected from, drying up or completely destroy leyline) : O mother earth my bosom is empty, how can the land not mourn my plea. Please mother, punish this land for sacrilege.( Instantly depending upon his desire the land will disconnect, dry up or be completely destroyed of the dragon vein if there existed one already)

Author's note:

Did you honestly think you would have a campione battle without a history lesson on syncretism….

Dream on.

Honestly Issun-boshi was Agricultural hazard. He could have easily destroyed Germany's economy and magical value by destroying the leylines or turning Palatinate wine growing region barren. He was that much of a hazard. The only reason he didn't do so was because he was busy mugging Shirou.
