I won't be going into too much detail for his birthday weekend. Not much left of this story guys. At most, 3-4 chapters left.
All mistakes are my own.

The week went by rather quickly. When Christian agreed to have everyone go to Aspen for his birthday, I called Mia back to let her know. To say she was excited was an understatement. His family was informed they were only staying for the weekend. Christian and I plan to stay for the whole week. Mia said she had some ideas on what we can do for his birthday. When we settled in to the house, I could not believe how amazing it was. It was a two story log cabin mansion, and the view was incredible. After a quick dinner, his parents called it a night and we all went out back and had a nice night on the deck.
The following morning, I wished him a happy birthday along with some birthday sex. We end up in the shower, where he wanted to continue what we had started in the bedroom, but I told him later. I guess you can call it delayed gratification. However, I told him I would move in with him. He had this grin on his face and he told me this was his best birthday gift ever and he wanted nothing else.
We had a delicious breakfast made courtesy of Grace. I still think she feels bad about what happened in her home. I don't want her to walk on pins and needles when I am around. She apologized and owned up to her mistake. I am not upset with her. I will talk to her about it some other time. When we finish our breakfast, we all went on a hike. Grace and Carrick decided not to come along.
Later on, we all went out to dinner and a chocolate cake was brought out by the pastry chef. We sang to Christian, told him to make a wish, and we enjoyed the rest of the evening. Mia wanted to go clubbing after dinner, and we all agreed. His parents went to bed when we arrived back at the house. They were leaving early in the morning. We changed into different outfits and drove to the club.
"Baby, with that dress you are wearing, I had half a mind to just stay back and celebrate my birthday alone with you," he whispered in my ear, and I shivered.
"All in good time, birthday boy," I purred, running my hand over his thigh.
"Okay, you two, save that for a later time," Elliot says.
"Jealous E?" Christian smirks.
"Nope, I got my Katie, and she takes good care of me," Kate smacks his leg.
"Gross you guys. Ugh, I can't believe I'm a fifth wheel tonight," Mia complains.
"Hey this was your idea. Deal with it," Christian laughs.
It was ten o'clock, and I told him I wanted to head back to the house. Everyone was pretty buzzed, except Christian and me. I just wanted to go to bed with my man. We arrive at the house and everyone heads to their rooms yelling out good night. I tell Christian that I would be right back. I changed out of my dress and put on the lingerie I purchased and wrapped the bow around my mid section. I peek out the door and Christian is removing his shirt. I clear my throat and he stops and stares. I walk towards him and bend down to kiss him. He tries to deepen the kiss, but I pull back.
"Happy birthday. This is your gift, Mr. Grey. Unwrap me and do whatever your heart desires," I say.
He then pulls the bow and his eyes roam all over my body. I am wearing a blush and gold lace teddy. It is crotchless and has a cutout in the back. He looks like he is ready to devour me. Who am I to deny him?
"Oh baby, after tonight, you're going to be so sore when I'm done with you," he breathed heavily.
After hours of love making, we were exhausted. I felt like I was going to pass out. Christian is playing with my hair and it's lulling me to sleep.
"I love you, baby. Thank you for saying you would move in with me. You make me happy, you know that?" he says.
"I love you too, Christian. I would do anything to make you stay happy," I whispered, slowing falling asleep. I could feel his breathing evening out. He is about to fall asleep too.
"If I asked you to marry me, would you say yes?" he mumbled and I look at him.
What did he just say?
CPOV
I wake up to see Ana's side of the bed, empty and cold. Where is she? I get up, use the bathroom and shower. I got dressed and made my way down stairs hoping to find Ana. I walk towards the kitchen and I hear her and my mother talking.
"I just want to see my son happy. When he is with you, I see he is happy. We have you to thank for that, Ana. I also want to apologize again for what happened that night at my house. I should have never invited her over," my mom says.
"Grace, let's just forget about that whole thing. I have no say in who you invite into your home. I was only a guest, that's all," Ana responds.
"No Baby, you weren't just a guest. I took you to meet my family as my girlfriend. She had no reason to be there. End of discussion," I kiss her forehead.
"Breakfast will be ready soon. Then, we will head out," my mother sighs and leaves me and Ana alone in the kitchen.
"How are you this morning? I woke up all alone," I pout.
"I'm good. I woke up to go to the bathroom and I couldn't go back to sleep, so I came down here and found your mom in the kitchen," she says while making herself another cup of tea. Something is wrong.
"Ana, what is it?" I asked.
"Do you remember what you said to me last night before you fell asleep?" she sighed and I simply nod.
"You wanted to know if I would marry you if you asked me." it was more of a statement than a question.
"Would you?" I asked curiously.
"The truth?" She says and I nod, then she continues, "yes I would, but I hope it's not too soon," she looked down at her hands.
"The day I ask you to marry me, I want us both to be 100 percent sure it's what we really want," I smile.
"Don't you think we are moving a little too fast here?" she looks at me waiting for my response.
"I think there is really no time frame on when we should move in together or even take that next step. I would marry you when you are ready. The both of us. I don't want you to feel pressured. I love you and I will wait however long it takes," I tell her.
"Thank you," she sighs.
"For what?" I asked, confused.
"For all you have done for me. Being by my side when I have needed you the most. You really are an amazing person," she kisses me.
After my family left, Ana and I spent the rest of the week relaxing. Most of the days were spent indoors. One night during dinner, I gave her a charm bracelet with a heart charm on it. She loved it and swore she would never take it off. We went sailing on a smaller boat I have docked by the lake. We stayed out for an entire day. We also went para-gliding, which I have never done. Ana said that she would love to do that again one day. I took her horseback riding in Maroon Bells. With a promise to return, that would be on our list of things to do again when we came back.
A/N: next chapter will be up tomorrow.
