Kagome came skipping out of her room, greeting a new and shining day in the wonderful city of New York. She had called Shippo as soon as she returned home after meeting with Sesshoumaru, almost a week ago now, and had kept in contact with him since. It did upset her father when he learned that she was talking to another male friend. She was sure even the gods didn't know how her father would react should he learn the truth of her and Shippo's relationship. It was bound to be something drastic and over the top, that was for sure.
Spotting her father, she made a beeline in his direction and hugged him from behind.
"Working on a new suit?"
"Morning to you too. And yes, an idea came to me a while ago, just couldn't help myself."
"Mmm. Looks like fun." she peeked over his shoulder to watch his hands at work. It still amazed her how imagination, know-how and perseverance could create something so... wonderful. "What about that other project? The one Pepper brought up?"
"You mean using the arc reactor to sustain power? Also working on that, amazing idea."
"You have to give Pepper credit." Kagome hummed as she stepped around her father and picked up the mask that was part of the helmet. "Someone hangs around you long enough, and your genius starts rubbing off on them."
Tony looked, raising a brow as he watched Kagome smirk before holding the mask before her face. "I am... Iron Man." she snickered under her breath while she placed the mask piece of the helmet back on the work table. "Gotta admit though, it's pretty empowering. Being a hero."
Tony quirked a brow at the odd phrasing she'd used, then simply marked it up to a slip up in her English.
