Chapter One: Beginnings

~ Ichigo Kurosaki ~

Kagome Higurashi hummed to herself as she concentrated on her task. She had wavy raven black hair that reached down to the top of her waist, ocean blue eyes, and light tanned skin. She had a slim and curvy figure. She was wearing a dark grey tank top and black shorts that stopped mid-thigh.

She looked down at the pile of clothes on the bed wondering if she had packed enough or if she still needed to pack a couple of more things before looking up at the man across from her, her fiance Ichigo Kurosaki. He had short spiky orange hair, chocolate brown eyes, and tanned skin, a lean and muscular figure, and was wearing a white v-neck shirt and grey sweatpants.

Kagome smiled softly to herself when she saw that he was making that adorable concentration face she loved as he tried to decide on which pair of pants he should pack or leave behind.

"Are you sure your friends will like me?" She asked as she closed her bag, officially taking a break from packing her bag before she looked up at Ichigo who was standing across from her packing his bag. "Of course they will. What's not to like about you? You're gorgeous, intelligent, thoughtful, patient, sweet, and funny. What wouldn't they like?" Ichigo asked her as he looked away from the two pairs of pants to look at her.

"Maybe it's because when you left Karakura town five years ago to come to Tokyo for college to become a doctor like your dad, you were single. Now you're coming back with a three-week pregnant fiancée who only your family knows about." Kagome told him as she looked at him, dryly with her arms crossed over her chest.

"I didn't tell my friends though because between hunting hollows and goofing around it never came up," Ichigo explained to her as he walked over to her before he lovingly kissed her forehead and then the top of her head. "Plus, every time I would visit them, something would come up for you or something would come up with them. There was that weekend you had food poisoning, Souta's soccer games, helping your grandfather at the shrine, and archery club duties. Which, I'm not mad about seeing as how despite us being together for three and a half years I had just met your family yesterday and couldn't do it before because every time you visited them something came up for me like Karin's soccer games, helping my dad at his clinic, hollow hunting, and kendo club duties." He continued as he looked down at her.

"Well, what's happened, happened now we have to figure out how we're going to tell them. Do you have any ideas?" Kagome asked as she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "Maybe we can do one of those pregnancy announcements?" Ichigo suggested as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"That sounds great," Kagome said with a smile before gently kissing his cheek. "Do you have any ideas in mind?" Ichigo asked as he rubbed her back softly. Kagome thought about it for a while before she shook her head no. "What about you? Do you have any ideas?" Kagome asked him softly.

She listened to him as he named a couple of suggestions. The more suggestions he named, the more she knew he had been thinking about this for a while. "It all sounds like fun; I can't wait." She smiled and leaned against him. "How about we have some quality time while we still have some privacy?" Ichigo suggested with a smirk before he picked her up, chuckling softly when she squeaked before wrapping her legs around his waist.

"When did you become such a perv?" Kagome asked him blushing a little. "When you agreed to be my girlfriend." He told her with a smirk as he laid her onto the bed and took off his shirt before kissing her when he saw that she was going to protest and remind him that they still needed to pack.

Besides, they had plenty of time to pack.

~ Orga Nanagear ~

Orga moved a little in his sleep as he tried to get comfortable in his bed. He was muscular, had tanned skin, long spiky green hair that went past his shoulders, and had two long spikes framing his face. Its usually is held in place by a plain black headband. He had dark tattoos on his shoulders and biceps.

He grumbled quietly to himself when his alarm went off. Lazily opening his eye, he reached over and turned it off. Yawning, he wrapped his arm back around the smaller body that was next to him. He smiled softly as he looked down and snuggled closer to his girlfriend of two and a half years, Kagome Redfox. She currently was still asleep with her back against his chest.

Kagome is a member of Fairy Tail and Gajeel Redfox's younger twin sister and best friend to Laxus Dreyar. She had slightly tanned skin, long wild, slightly spiky raven hair that stopped at the top of her waist and bangs that framed her face and ruby red eyes. She was petite, coming up to his chest, but had curves in all the right places. Like her brother, she had piercings, but she didn't have as many as he did. She had three earrings on both ears and a nose piercing. Her Fairy Tail mark was silver and on her right shoulder.

Gently moving a strand of her hair behind her ear, he chuckled softly to himself when he noticed the markings he left on her neck and shoulders from their activities last night. Smirking, he silently admitted to himself that they both had gotten carried away last night, but he didn't regret it. He didn't have to lift the covers to know that there were more markings on Kagome's body and that he had bruises on his hips and back.

He frowned when he thought about the reason behind them getting carried away, they both had been busy with jobs and their guilds to the point that they were unable to see each other as much as they, mainly him, had liked during these last four weeks. There was also the fact that both of their guilds knew they had significant others, but they didn't know they were dating each other mainly because of one simple reason - Gajeel and Laxus.

Gajeel and Laxus, mainly Gajeel are hugely protective of Kagome and have high standards for who can date her. Why? He had no idea, but he could only assume it was because she was Gajeel's sister and like a sister to Laxus. He had asked Kagome, but she merely shrugged and continued to eat her iron scraps, and he couldn't ask Gajeel or Laxus without raising suspicion, so he left it alone. Another reason he wasn't going to ask them is that the last time he had seen Gajeel, they both had fought after Gajeel caught him flirting and teasing a flustered Kagome.

The fight itself wasn't too bad, a couple of bruises that he could handle. It was the damage to the town that still to this day makes him cringe. Closing his eyes as he tried not to think about that instead he focused on the present and the future; more specifically on his pregnant girlfriend, her overprotective twin brother and best friend, and the fact that sooner or later they were going to have to tell them.

Which was good because they no longer had to sneak around, but at the same time it sucked for him because he knew he was going to have to tell Gajeel and Laxus that he and Kagome were dating and that they were going to be uncles in nine months. He could already imagine the reaction he was going to get from Sting after Sabertooth gets half the bill of the damage they were going to cause.

~ Goku Son ~

Goku smiled softly as he watched his tiny girlfriend, Kagome Higurashi cook them both breakfast from his place on the kitchen counter. His smile widened when he took in her appearance. Her long wavy raven hair was currently in a high ponytail; her sapphire blue eyes were now overseeing the food making sure nothing was burned. He noticed she had borrowed one of his shirts again and wondered if she was wearing anything underneath it. Shaking his head, he tried to steer clear from those thoughts, knowing that if he didn't sooner or later, he would want to act on them. If he did then breakfast would be delayed, and Kagome would be tired until at least lunchtime if not later.

He leaned back against the wall with legs cross and his arms behind his head; he was currently taking a break from his morning training and relaxing for a couple of hours. It was quiet for a while; the only sound being made was the food cooking before Kagome broke the silence. "I know you're watching me, Goku." Kagome told him never taking her eyes off of the food."I can't help it Kaggie; you're beautiful!" Goku said with a large grin. He watched as she ducked her head and instantly knew that she was blushing from his compliment. "You're just saying that cause I'm wearing your shirt," Kagome mumbled underneath her breath even though she knew he could still hear her.

Goku frowned before getting up and walking to her. "You'll always be beautiful. Whether you're wearing my shirt, a dress, or even rags you'll always be beautiful to me." Goku told her as he gently wrapped his arms around her waist, carefully pulling her against him. He felt her lean into his body so that he was now supporting her; after a few seconds of staying like that, she moved so that her head was underneath his chin. "I know you may not think it because of you're past, but you are perfect, and I'm lucky to have you in my life, both of you." He kissed the top of her head before moving his hands so that they were laying on her stomach.

Kagome smiled softly before looking up at him. She stared into his eyes for a while before kissing him lovingly. "We're lucky to have you in our lives too." She said softly when she pulled back from the kiss.

Goku smiled more and pecked her forehead, he opened his mouth to say something but stopped when a scent hit his nose. "Uh, Gome I think the food is burning." He told her with a winch as he looked at the now burning pancakes.

"GOKU! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING SOONER?!"

~ Kakashi Hatake ~

Kakashi laid comfortably across the couch with his eyes closed, his mask off, and his arms behind his back. He has spiky silver hair, dark grey eyes, and fair skin. He wore a forehead protector, the standard infantry uniform, and was barefoot. "Aren't you supposed to be meeting with your team for training? You're an hour later than you usually are." He heard his wife Kagome say as she walked towards him.

Kakashi opened his eyes when he felt Kagome stand above him. He smiled lovingly when he looked into her gorgeous silver-blue eyes. Looking at her hair, he momentarily hoped it would grow back; she was forced to cut it before a recent mission. It used to be down to her waist, but now it was layered and down to her shoulders. Looking over her outfit, he thought about staying at home for another hour or two. She wore one of his civilian shirts, and he wondered if there was anything underneath, but he was sure it wasn't.

"I'm relaxing." He told her casually, resisting the urge to chuckle when he saw the face she gave him. It was in between a 'are you serious?' and a 'you shouldn't be relaxing when you're this late.' Sitting up, he wrapped his arms around her waist before pulling her onto his lap. "It won't hurt them to wait a little while." He told her, pecking her lips lovingly.

~ Conner Kent ~

Conner closed his eyes as he began to dry off his hair. "How long are you going to keep this up?" He heard his soon to be fiance Kagome asked him as she slowly walked towards him. "I don't know what you're talking about," Conner told her even though he had a pretty good idea about what she was talking about.

"You can't keep using the zeta tube to travel back and forth between here and there," Kagome told as she wrapped her arms around loosely around his neck. "Why do you keep doing it? Do you do it because you want some privacy or because they don't know about us?" She asked him as she looked into his eyes for an answer to her question.

"It's a mixture of both," Conner admitted. "Why?! Are you ashamed of us?!" Kagome asked him hurt. She began to move her arms from around his neck and move away from him but was stopped when Conner wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close and firmly against his chest.

"Not only could I never be ashamed of us, but I would never be ashamed of us! You are the love of my life, my future wife, and the mother of my unborn child. If we were to be at Mount Justice, we would have absolutely no privacy with how frequently the team comes in and out. I want to enjoy you all to myself as much as I can before the baby comes and the team finds out about us. But if it means so much to you, I'll talk to everyone and have them meet you soon." Conner said as he gently rubbed tiny circles on her lower back.

"I don't have to meet your team, I just wanted to be there for you like how you are for me," Kagome said with a soft smile, kissing his cheek lovingly. Conner smiled and leaned his forehead against hers.
