The wind in the tree tops...the birds...the lake...
Slowly, Ryuu started to wake up, hearing the first sounds of the morning.
I feel so warm...
She felt only the lightest touch of a morning breeze on her face.
My back is so warm...this feels so...good.
Ryuu still kept her eyes closed and snuggled up softly against Bell. Little by little, more impressions reached her mind. The warmness of the sun...the wind...the animals...the soft breathing in her back...the body snuggled up to her...
Ah...bliss...
Gently, she caressed with two fingers of her left hand Bell´s arm, the arm that was around her. The back of his hand touched her chest...that also felt good in her hazy state.
This might as well be heaven...
Slowly...very slowly the started to open her eyes, blinking.
It is so bright already...did we sleep so long? Have we been up that late?
"Mmh..."
Ryuu heard a light moan behind her, Bell started to wake up.
Her sleepy, half closed, eyes wandered down. They were covered by the blanket so it wasn´t cold, but maybe it just felt warm because they slept together, naked.
I never thought I would do something like that with Bell.
She stuck her left hand out from under the blanket and looked at the ring, that shone in the sunlight. The memories of the last night came back to her mind. Only the smallest red shade came to her cheeks. Ryuu just hoped that Alise and the others didn´t watched over her last night... With her right hand under the blanket, she touched her stomach.
I wonder if I became...
The chance for elves to get pregnant was incredibly low, so it would probably take a long time.
It will happen when it happens...right now I am happy...
"Mmh.."
Bell´s body moved a bit against her.
Hm..
Carefully, Ryuu turned around in Bell´s arms to look at his face, his eyes still closed.
"Bell..." She whispered.
"Mmh...mhh...a Fai...ry...?" Blinking slowly, he started to open his eyes.
Ryuu chuckled. "It´s me."
"Ry...uu?" His eyes were only half open.
She smirked and continued to whisper. "Good morning."
"M..morning.."
He looks so...adorable...when he is sleepy.
Ryuu put her cheek against Bell´s chest, he pulled her gently into his arms and together they dozed for a while.
Sometimes...it is nice to be so careless...

When he finally woke up, Bell released Ryuu out of his arms and slowly got into a sitting position, yawning.
"Mhh..."
He heard a light moan and looked down. Ryuu was resting on her back, her hands placed on both sides of her head, the eyes half closed and she smiled to him. He noticed that he had pulled the blanket off her, his face got warm when he saw the sunlight on her naked chest. It was like he was enchanted, his eyes wandered for a moment over her two beautiful mounds and her alluring waist, the blanket covered her from the hips down, then he started to turn his face to the side.
A hand touched his cheek lightly and stopped him, Ryuu smiled only a little embarassed. "Bell, it is okay to look at me...just...not too much."
"Ryuu..."
Bell couldn´t stop himself, he leaned over Ryuu on his hands, while she carefully put her arms around him and then they had the longest, most loving kiss than ever before.
Our first kiss as a married couple...

A few minutes later, they sat together in the shallow water of the lake, Ryuu between Bell´s legs, leaned against his chest, cuddling and enjoying the others presence after they washed.
Even if they enjoyed it, both were a bit red in the face, being together naked was still embarassing, especially when it was still bright.
"It is really nice here in the forest." The cool water had helped Bell to wake up completely.
"And so quiet, it is relaxing to have something like that from time to time."
"Especially when I am with you."
"Mhm.." Ryuu leaned her head back and closed her eyes for a while.
"Ryuu?" Gently, Bell closed his arms around Ryuu´s waist.
"Yes?" She placed her arms on his, their hands entangled.
"I...hope you won´t get mad but...I just have to say it...every part...of your body...is indescribably beautiful."
With everything he means...
The tip of her ears became slightly red. "Thank you, D...D-Darling..."
Ryuu wanted to try calling Bell that at least once but...

Both were equally embarassed and steam rose from their heads.
Th-That was more embarassing than I thought...
Being newlyweds was not easy.

After a while they decided to get out. "B-Bell...could you...please close your eyes?"
"Y-Yes."
After Bell removed his arms Ryuu got up, she trusted Bell to have his eyes closed. Standing naked in bright daylight with her bottom in front of Bell´s face...she would probably die of shame.
There is a limit to everything.
She wrapped herself in a towel, took her clothes and stepped behind a tree. "You can open now."
Ryuu heard water splashing and her face grew more red as she imagined Bell walking out of the water.
Aaaaah...pull yourself together me!
Returning from the morning bath, they hung up the blankets so they could air out and went to wash the big sheet.
It feels like we are newlyweds...wait...we are newlyweds...haaaaa!
A big smile spread over Ryuu´s face.
"Ryuu?"
"Oh it´s nothing."
Breakfast consisted of bread, hard boiled eggs, tea, vegetables and some bacon prepared by Mama Mia, as always the taste was really good. Judging by the position of the sun, it was already late morning, so after their breakfast, they changed into their training gear and took their swords. They left their stuff at the glade, just hung up their backpacks and everything on branches.

Ryuu and Bell stood on the wide grass field a few hundred meters away from the forest. They made sure that no animals were near them, they didn´t want to hurt anyone.
"Bell, does your sword feel...strange...sometimes?"
"Maybe be little bit, but I´m not that used to swords."
Justice Lumina started to shake again as Bell was near her.
"I would like to try something."
She took her sword in her right hand and Bell drew his. Now he could feel it too, his sword shook more and more, the closer it came to Ryuu´s.
"Does your sword have a name yet?"
"Well...Welf wanted to call it "Blazing Inferno" or "Crimson Lotus"..."
"Aha...and have you decided?"
"Ahm...promise not to laugh?" Bell glanced over to her, a bit embarassed.
"I would never laugh at you, Bell." Ryuu looked serious.
"You know...since our swords share something...and the time we got the antlers...and it really means a lot to me...a-and it´s color...and you mean a lot to me...and...I..."
"Just say it."
Bell took a deep breath. "Fairy´s Dawn."
Ryuu thought for a while. Fairy´s Dawn...
She understood the allusion. This morning, wasn´t the first time that Bell had called her a fairy or...his fairy... Ryuu was deeply moved.
"Bell..." Ryuu smiled at him, abashed. "You´re doing that way too often with me."
"Huh?"
She chuckled. "Nothing...I really like that name."
"Then it is decided." Bell raised his sword and held it upright in front of his face. "Fairy´s Dawn."
For a moment it looked like his sword glew.
Slowly, Ryuu raised Justice Lumina and put the broadside of the sword against Fairy´s Dawn. A jolt ran through the swords into their bodies, the shaking of the swords stopped, it was like the two halves were finally united again. From that moment on, the shaking stopped but at the bottom of each blade, a small symbol was engraved. On Justice Lumina, it was a tiny fairy with a sun behind her. On Fairy´s Dawn, it was a pair of wings with rays of light. Curious, Ryuu walked away about a hundred meters and returned. The small symbol on each blade glew when they were close together.
"Hmm...It is like...they can...sense...each other?" Bell looked confused.
"That will be useful in the future."
"Absolutely."
"Now, I want to show you something, Bell. I tested that out one morning in the dungeon room."
Inside the dungeon on the first floors, there was a special room, like a save zone. No monsters spawned there and the walls were even harder than orichalcum. Familia´s often used that room to train or test something. And so did Ryuu.
"Please wait here." Ryuu walked a dozen meters away from Bell.
"Bell! Would you fire a few times in the sky please? I want to scare away the birds!"
"Ahm..okay."
He raised his hands and fired four firebolts into the sky, letting them slam into each other so they exploded and scared away all animals.
"Distant forest sky. Infinite stars inlaid upon the eternal night sky."
"Heed this foolish one´s voice and once more grant the protection of the starlight."
"Grant the light of compassion to the one who forsook you."
"Come, storming wind, fellow traveler."
Huh? Somehow..the chant sounds different than usual. Bell watched curious.
"Cross the skies and dash onto my enemy."
"Faster than any, unstoppable to all."
"Imbue the light of stardust and strike down my enemy!"
Ryuu held her sword pointed to the sky.
"Luminous Vortex!"
Normally at the end of her spell, hundreds of orbs would surround Ryuu and be fired in a wide barrage. But now the orbs circled around Justice Lumina for a moment, then like a stream of light orbs and wind, they shot in a curved line into the sky. It was...like a pointed tornado. Ryuu was a little bit out of breath when the magic stopped.
"Huff...huff..."
Bell came over to her. "That looked amazing! Was that a new spell?" He reached her a bottle with water from the lake.
After taking a few sips, Ryuu gave the bottle back to Bell. "No, not directly. I trained with my sword and always felt like it reacted to my magic...or me? It is hard to describe that feeling."
She let her sword sink. "So I tried a few things in the dungeon, just like you with your charge skill. I was able to modify my magic a bit. It only works as long as I use Justice Lumina...and it consumes even more mental strength than usual."
"And have you tested it on a target yet?"
"Once, one day lady Riveria came around noon to eat at the pub and I asked her for advice. She offered to meet me the next morning and we went to the room, there she created an ice wall and let test it."
"Oh, you know Miss Riveria?"
"Yes, from the past."
"What happened?" Lady Riveria is really a nice person.
"Since the magic is more focussed to one point, the piercing effect is stronger."
"That sounds very useful." And it looks so cool..
"But the downside is, I can´t use it against fast monster, while I might be able to move while chanting, once I unleash the magic, it will miss if my target moves out of the way, so it is more suitable for bigger and slower targets or narrow passages."
"It still is amazing. A magic that beautiful really suits you really well."
Ryuu smiled, Bell never stopped making her compliments. "Thank you."
"Allow me to show you too, what my sword can do." Bell went a few meters away from Ryuu and took his swords in both hands.
"Welf couldn´t tell me how exactly the magical charges could be used, I have to try that out myself."
Bell tightened his grip on the sword, flames cames out of the blade and started to whirl around it.
"Deeeeyaaaah!" He swung his sword upwards and the fire whipped into the sky.
It came in long curves and whirled around, not really aimed. In the dungeon with a target before him, it would most likely be a devastating blow.
"Impressive." Ryuu walked over to him. "How often can you use that?"
Bell put his sword on his shoulder. "I have to wait a full day after using it at full strength, that was about half of it. Sometimes I have to wait two days, but Welf said so is magic. There is also another method, if I use that, the magic has to recover for a full week."
"And is it stronger?"
"Yes, I can use that only in the dungeon, out here would be too dangerous."
"So there are limitations."
"Yes and if I use the big one, it also exhausts my mental strength, I wonder what happens when I combine it with my skill."
"You should test that out in the room before using it in combat."
"That was my plan." Bell smirked.

Ryuu looked up to the sky in thoughts. "Bell...you say you used only half of your charge now yes?"
"Yes."
"I am thinking about something..." She looked around.
"What is it?"
"Lady Riveria told me something about magic combinations, apparently that is possible if two magic user and their magic are...compatible."
"Compatible?"
"Yes, she told me a few factors of which I didn´t understand all. The easiest way is to try it out, but she warned me it can be quite dangerous. The magic might cancel each other out or explode."
"That sounds indeed dangerous."
"But if we aim it to the sky...Bell, would you lend me your sword for a moment?"
Instead of answering, Bell knelt on one knee in frot if Ryuu, both arms raised and his sword sword placed on the palms of his hands.
"You have my sword, Mylady."
Kyaaaaa! I did it! I always wanted to do that!
Smiling bashful, Ryuu carefully took the sword off his hands. "You have my thanks, my knight."
Somehow it felt strange holding them together, Fairy´s Dawn was heavier than Justice Lumina and a bit shorter.
"Let´s see if this works." Ryuu walked a few steps away from Bell, looked into the sky and raised the swords.
She concentrated on both swords, starting her chant and waiting for the right moment to activate the charge.
When she came to the end of her chant...it felt like a raging flame was rising inside her mind.
Without realising it, she changed the chant.
"Blazing Vortex!"
Ryuu thrusted both swords upward to the sky, holding them close together. Her magic whirled around Justice Lumina and shot forward, in the same moment the flames of Fairy´s Dawn burst out and...
The magic combined.
With a titanic roar, a burning tornado shot up to the sky, lightning bolts that had a light green color flicked through the flames. It was a combination of light, wind, lightning and fire.
Every single animal two kilometers around them fled in fear.
Ah...
Ryuu´s vision grew dizzy...

Ryuu felt the warm sun on her body, when her consciousness came back to her.
"Be..ll?"
"Ryuu! Thank the gods!"
Now she realized that she was lying in the gras, her head was resting on Bell´s thights.
"What...happened?"
"You had a mind down."
"Ah...so that was it..."
Carefully, Bell placed a wet cloth on Ryuu´s forehead.
"My heart stopped when you suddenly fell..."
"I´m sorry for worrying you..." She felt his fingers gently caressing her cheek.
Ryuu felt tired, she opened her eyes and looked up into Bell´s worried face.
"How long..."
"About an hour..."
That long?
"Now we know it is dangerous to do it alone..."
"Yeah, we should probably do it together the next time. But not today."
"No, not today...I´m so tired..."
"I have a potion if you want."
"I don´t think I have the strength to get up and drink it..." If that happened in the dungeon I would be dead.
Ryuu felt something cold against her cheek, it was a flask.
"Slowly..." Bell looked worried down to her and carefully tipped the flask so that Ryuu could drink the potion.
Little by little, she felt her mind getting clear again.
"Did you catch me?"
"Yes, I made it just in time."
"Thank you...my love."
Ryuu heard him smirk. "Anytime...can you stand up?"
"I don´t know...I feel really tired..." It feels like I will fall asleep any moment...
"Hmm...then..."
Gently, Bell placed Ryuu´s head on the gras. She heard something cling and then felt his arms in the hollow of her knee and under her arms.
Wha..
"Place your arms around my neck."
With a hazy mind, Ryuu followed what Bell said and let him lift her up in a princess carry.
Mh...this is not so bad...
With closed eyes Ryuu leaned her head against Bell´s shoulder.
"I am so tired..."
Bell looked into her sleepy face and smiled.
She is so cute.
"Just sleep, I will bring you back to the camp."
"Thank...you...nnnnn." Ryuu was already asleep.
Holding her up carefully, Bell walked slowly back to the camp.
He really enjoyed holding Ryuu like that. These experiments have their benefits.
