When he didn't reject the final effort, happiness suffused her scent. It was more fun that it should have been to steal away her triumph. "Armor fastenings next," he dictated in bored tones.
"Wh-what?" Kagome stammered. "Why?"
Sesshoumaru stared down his nose at her and replied, "Because I intend to bathe before this night is over."
Comprehension dawned on her expressive face. "How many more fastenings will I need to... erm... attend to?"
"Several."
