Within the hospital in a place where only authorized personal were allowed, the Fifth Hokage Tsunade stood behind the girl that her apprentice was now half of. From Higa, she knew about the effects of the Porta Earrings on those that it had been used on before; however, this case was different. It was the first time the porta earrings happened to be used on two humans(to her limited knowledge), so the long term effects of the fusion were unknown. She wanted to check up on Hikari weekly until she was sure that there was nothing wrong with her because of the way she came into being.

"How am I, Sensei-sama?" Hikari asked as Tusnade finished her test and she was released from the genjutsu that allowed Tsunade to do what she needed to do without running into problems.

"You are just fine and free to go; but before you do, you are going to have to change into Sakura. She is supposed to be coming back for the going home after recovering from mental attack today," the fifth Hokage said.

That kind of how they explained Hikari's fainting in the Hokage Office. As a delayed mental attack that got her sent to the hospital. While 'Hinata' on the other hand was sent away on another mission one that solo outing and tailored in a fashion that was caused as few questions as possible. Then again the only Hyuga that probably notice her absence really would be Neji. Her family and sister were away from the village at the time dealing with a family matter

Hikari just looked at her strangely while wondering who she was talking about for a while before she remembered

"Right, Sensei-sama," Hikari said. She then transformed into Sakura as she was glad she got picked as once again this meant that she could not be around Naruto as much as she wanted.

Tsunade arrived back in the Hokage Office and sat down

"How is it going?" Higa asked suddenly as he just appeared beside her.

"What are you still doing here and do you have to keep doing that," she asked

He would have normally been on the road again, but since this was mostly his fault, he was sticking around for a while.

"It seems that you were right about her memories merging. She's starting to forget that she was ever two separate people. Today it took her a while to even remember who Sakura was after I asked her to transform into her," the blond Hokage said.

She did not say this directly to Hikari merely fixed her Sakura transformation without her knowing. It was off not very noticeable margin exact to those who truly knew her though.

"So how are the preparations for gathering her two families been going? We should do it before she can no longer recall Sakura and Hinata being separate people," he suggested.

"I know that and but turns out Sakura's parents went on vacation somewhere," the Fifth Hokage explained.

"Wait, you said that Hikari will not recall Sakura and Hinata being separate people. Who will she remember them as?" her master asked.

"Well, this is just theory, but if I had to guess, she might think of them as Shadow Clones since that is the best way her merged memories will be able to cope with her being in two places at once since from the report the memories taking priority are those that Hinata and Sakura cherished the most," Higa said.

"Then what about her missing teammate Sasuke? Hikari seemed to react in the same way Naruto does when you mention the guy to him. Sakura used to have a huge crush on the Uchiha, but Hikari feels nothing for him beyond friendship," Tsunade asked

"From what I heard of Hinata and Sakura from you, it's likely her huge crush on Naruto combined with Sakura changing feelings towards him squashed whatever remaining romantic feeling Hikari would have towards the missing Uchiha," he told her.

'Still, it's strange that their memories are even merging in the first place. Normally, the memories of those that are merged from the porta earrings are fused with one the Fusee being the dominant persona. Then again, two humans according to my memory have never used porta earrings before. This was all new to me,' he thought.

"Though there is also another problem that would need addressing as well," Higa said.

"What would that be exactly," Tsunade asked

"The reason all this is happening in the first place," he told her

"I thought it was because the two of them were fused by the earrings YOU lost somehow," she said

"Yes and no as what causes this merger of their memories probably was not the fusion itself but a side effect of something" Naruto did afterward the merchant explained.

Going into detail about how according to what Naruto told him that originally the fusion of Sakura and Hinata did not seem to even have a sense of self nor free will. She just merely followed orders and luckily for Naruto the orders could be interpreted in different ways. Poor choice of words leads to Naruto being able to gain control of the fusion that would become Hikaru Hinaru that she is now.

"So be used the control he had over them beat it," she said

"Not exactly it more as he used it to trick it into giving the fusion control of herself. She is still under Naruto's control per se yet allowing Hikaru to act on her own is how she is following his orders" Higa replied.

There was a number of things these thoughts lead to as well possible targets whoever was behind this venture would be after. Based on how they targeted Sakura and Hinata and the fusion first target was Naruto.
