Figured it'd be a cool idea to have another Wilhelm chapter, considering he's only made a few brief appearances. That and I apologize for not updating last month, but a bunch of crap came out and I had to deal with it. But rest assured that I'll be updating more this month as best as I can.

And yes, I have seen the latest episodes of Owl House, and yeah that's a lot of material to work with. Now I get that some of ya want me to continue on with the episodes from the show and I can understand that, but making original content for this story has it's perks to.

But enough of me, here's the next chapter everybody.

Chapter 16

Fantastic Beasts

Right now, it was about at least 2 A.M in the morning, on the Boiling Isles, in only a short amount of hours, the sun would soon rise up. Normally, this would be the time where most normal witch's and warlock's/people would still be asleep. Not one would really think anything would occur around this hour, however they were wrong.

Something else was going on deep in the woods, the sound of fast rapid footsteps were heard, and we could see someone jump over a log. A few seconds later a large foot came down snapping the piece of wood into pieces.

Then we see the individual jumping across a ledge using a branch to swing himself across. The creature pursuing him jumped over with ease.

The one that was running, was wearing what resembled that of a ghillie suit. As for what was chasing this individual it was a dragon. It had a medium long neck like a snake, mostly dark brown colored scales, with a white under belly. It had dark yellow eyes, and a series of red quill like appendages covering it's head and most of it's tail. This species were known as a Venom Thorntail.

The individual soon started running up a large tree with the dragon not to far behind him. He stopped for a brief making sure it was following him. Just as it lashed out, he ducked under the tree and with swift movement slid onto another tree bellow him and used a large branch to swing himself off and let go just in the nick of time avoiding an incoming quill that shot from it's tail.

Using the environment to his advantage, the individual jumped up and started using the old rib cage like a set of monkey bars avoiding getting bit until he jumped off avoiding it's tail which smashed a single bone off of it and slid down a smooth rock.

" That's right... " The individual said before he jumped forward while the Thorntail couldn't slow down and tried to skid itself to a halt. It successfully did, but wasn't fast enough to react to the ground underneath it giving away. It turned out, that part of the ground had a large hole that was covered in long branches and leaves.

And because of it's weight the branches snapped it fell down into the hole emitting a screech clearly surprised by this. Meanwhile at the same time, the stranger had just finished setting up some sort of webbing made from a spider just in the nick of time as the dragon came falling out of the hole landing right in the net.

With the reptile now secured the individual jumped off from where he was grabbing the Thorntail's attention. The beast saw this and growled in anger as it started freeing itself from the net. Despite this, the stranger didn't move, no, instead he made an orange spell circle and brought out a harmonica.

Before long he started playing, the instrument glowed brightly and as he was being charged. However, it just suddenly stopped. For some strange reason, the dragons aggressive nature started dwindling down, feeling less threatened, but instead was feeling calm and more relaxed. For a brief second, the stranger stopped playing and put the harmonica away.

He then removed his helmet and gently put it on the ground. The individual was revealed to be none other then Wilhelm who started to slowly walk over to the Thorntail. Slowly he raised up his right hand giving it a reassuring smile.

" It's okay...I'm not going to hurt you... " The young warlocks yellow eyes locked with the dragons violet eyes as if each were gazing into each other's souls. Then within a second, the thorntail leaned it's head forward allowing Wilhelm to touch it.

" I promise...When I get the chance, I'll be sure to return you back to where you belong. "

A few hours had passed, and while most students didn't go to Hexside an hour early there were some who did. One of those students happened to be none other then Amity Blight herself. Now normally at this time she'd be doing something else important, it'd either would be school related stuff or family. But in the last few weeks, things have been different. To the student populace, she was only just a rich snobbish witch with an over confident attitude and at times a teacher's pet.

While most kept those assumptions, she was actually a completely different person once you got to know her. One of the few to actually learn to get to know her better, was the school's 'most recent odd ball'. Wilhelm Soulbane. Which would've been considered strange given her status. At first when she started hanging out with Wilhelm after school, when she was free, it was private, no one knew a thing of their growing friendship.

However, overtime word had gotten out. There'd been some few little bit of whisper and rumors spreading out here and there. Naturally, her friends/social group would hear about it, and questioned her.

But she putted them at ease, and then when they started talking bad about him, for some odd reason, she didn't like that. He might've been labeled as a weirdo by others, but when in fact, he was much then his appearance and personality gave off. He was honest, not afraid to speak out his thoughts, nor did he have no shame in dissing there own emperor, and dis approves of the Coven system.

But gradually over the days gone by since there encounter and him saving her from a dragon, Amity had started getting used to actually having a friend. Sure she had her group, but there mixed feelings about it for various good reasons. But the idea of having someone else to talk to, not writing in her diary, not talking to her family but someone who seemed to have their share of common sense, and was more then willing to lend an ear that 'I'm willing to listen'. And another plus side was that she actually found someone else who was also an Azura fan even before she found out Luz was into the series to.

Not to mention he even got her hooked on a completely different series, Black Clover. The fact that the human world had so much imagination when it came to magic was astounding considering that they never did any at all.

" So have you do guys know about the story of 'Devil Eye?' " Skara asked the group.

" Well yeah, everyone knows about him. He's the son of the Owl Lady... " Boscha commented.

" Don't forget the Dark Wolf. " Kat chimed in. " He's just as infamous as the those other two. "

" Well if that's true, how come no one's seen him in years? " Skara added in another question. " On top of that, there's that weird rumor going on. "

" What? You mean the story of how supposedly she given birth to some kind of monster? Give me a break. " Boscha waved her off. " And the whole 'Blackest Night' thing everyone's been talking about is just made up story. That's all they are. "

" No, that really did happen! " Kat insisted making the three eyed witch scoff.

" Uh-huh. Well what do you think Amity? " Boscha asked but didn't get a response, the said witch's mind was elsewhere deep in thought. " Amity? Amity! "

" Huh? What? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. "

" What's your thoughts on the Devil Eye having to do with the Blackest Night? "

" I don't really have a comment...Listen, you all go on ahead. I gotta take care of something. " She said before walking up ahead.

" Alright...if you say so... " Skara said as they watched her leave. " Has anyone else been noticing this lately? "

" I know, she's been acting really odd. " Kat added. " Yeah, well it's not our problem, let's just go. " Boscha said to the rest of the group.

After making sure no one else saw her nor followed her, Amity made her way into the forest that was right near the school. Soon as she did the young witch heard the sound of a harmonica playing.

" Ah, that's where he is. " Following the melody for a few minutes, Amity found him playing his harmonica underneath the shade of a large tree and like before his little companion Nara was swaying her head slowly side to side, enjoying the beautiful sound that was being played. As she approached him, Wilhelm stopped playing and looked over to her.

" Hello Amity. "

" Um...Hi Wilhelm. "

" Are you here to return the manga I let you borrow? " She sat down on up against the tree right next to him. Afterwards she reached into her bag pulling out Black Clover issue's 7, 8 & 9.

" Here. " She handed them over to him and he put them in his own bag. " Ah, thank you. So, how were they? "

" They were okay...I guess. "

The red head chuckled at her anwser. " You don't have to hide it. I wouldn't bother judging you. I have my tastes and opinion as do you. Come on, be honest. "

" W-Well, in that case I enjoyed them very much. "

" That's good start...Did you read the part where it turns out both Noelle and Mimosa have a crush on Asta? "

She nodded. " I did actually. But I don't get it. Is it that normal in these stories? "

Wilhelm shrugged his shoulders. " Sometimes, mostly and usually the character's are always to dense to realize it to. Like the part where Asta said that he liked Noelle but didn't know she thought it was like he was returning his feelings for her. "

" And then she blasted him with water. " Amity added. " Which seems to happen quite a bit. Is that normal to? "

" Eh, that's just a typical case of tsundere. " He gained a mischievous smirk making Amity raise an eyebrow in confusion. " What? "

" Speaking of tsundere, I happen to know one...And she's sitting right next to me. " She glared daggers at him but he kept up that grin.

" Are you calling me a tsundere? "

" Maybe~ " He replied in a teasing tone. " You do have those traits... "

" I do not! " She retorted back.

" Hmhm... " Wilhelm hummed not entirely sounding convinced. " That type of character's personality is initially cold, temperamental, hotheaded and sometimes even hostile. Before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time...Hate to say it, but you fit the bill. "

" Do not! Take that back! "

" Nope."

" Take that back! "

Wilhelm only smiled as he sighed in content knowing he won and she lost. " And with that, I now rest my case. Also your face is getting red again. " He said pulling a mirror to show that he was telling the truth, the young witch's face was indeed getting red like back at the library making her flinch upon seeing he was right.

" This never happened... " Amity grumbled averting her gaze away making Wilhelm chuckle as his eyes could be seen for a second. " Did to me. But okay, my lips are sealed. "

" Oh right, that reminds me. " The witch exclaimed putting a fist down onto her open right palm. " There's a morning assembly happening today. "

This drew Wilhelm's attention as he tilted his head to the side. " About what? "

" I don't really know. But it should be starting pretty soon. " She said getting back onto her feet. " Anyways, you should probably head there now. "

" Okay! "

At least over ten minutes later the rest of the students populace had arrived. Upon getting their, they were all directed to go the school's gymnasium.

Up in the bleachers the students were all talking amongst themselves. As to be expected and naturally, a vast majority of them were curious to know what it was all about.

" I wonder what's going on? "

" I don't know but did they really have to this the moment we just got here? "

" Hey, it might actually be important. "

" Oh, please since when does anyone here think what goes in here is actually important? " Right on que a speaker was heard and everyone turned over to see Principle Bump making his way inside. After making sure he had everyone's attention, he cleared his throat.

" Good morning. Now, to start, I do realize that this early morning assembly seems a bit sudden, but there's a good reason for that. I'm sure most of you are well aware...Even though you might not. " He said bluntly at the last part. " As of late, there's been a recent surge in dragon activity more so then in the last hundred years alone. " As he continued speaking about things caused by the reptiles, in the bleachers Wilhelm scoffed at this something that Amity instantly took notice of. She was sitting with her group and he was right down below her by a single row.

But because of where she was at, Amity didn't want them or anyone else to notice, especially Boscha. That was the last thing she wanted.

" Oh gee, I wonder why... " Wilhelm said in a flat tone unimpressed tone since he knew the reason why.

Now to address this issue, today we'll be having a guest speaker talk to us about dragons. "

" And right now, It's my pleasure to bring in our guest speaker. He has not only won the hunters award four years running, but has also written four best selling books. Please welcome, Jarvis Mcgraw. ! "

" What? " Upon hearing that name, Wilhelm narrowed his eyes in anger as someone came walking up towards Bump.

It was a rather tall male with a short head. He had sickly yellow greenish skin, his eyes were dark brown. The lower part of his jaw had multiple fangs sticking out. His clothing consisted of a brown leather vest of some sort covering the top part of his shoulders, underneath the vest was a dark green shirt, that didn't really cover up much of his large stomach that stuck out. His pants were held up by a belt with a large silver belt buckle.

" Good morning students! How are we all feeling today!? "

He didn't get much of a reply back from anyone. Like at all.

" Okay, tough crowd, tough crowd...Now let me all tell ya something about Dragons... " He starts to pace back in fourth in front of the students.

" There many ways how to describe them, vicious, blood thirsty beasts, that only have the need for their thirst for destruction. As many of you know I take it upon myself to find and hunt them down. Not only to protect my fellow witch's and warlocks but also make the isle's a safer place. "

Jarvis takes a pause. " However, more then ever they are starting to grow more bold with each passing day, increasing the odds of someone getting killed. Which is why we must do what we must in order to defend our own. Make no mistake, when it comes down to it, a dragon will always, always go for the kill. It's either you, or them. They will not hesitate. " As he continued speaking from the stands Wilhelm gave him a very hateful glare.

The day had now passed. Outside you could see a large tree repeatedly shaking like crazy. The reason why was because Wilhelm was hitting and kicking it to let out his frustrations all while Amity watched him do so.

Through out the whole entire day, after the assembly Wilhelm had been acting up. He wasn't sleeping in classes, he wasn't eating and he wasn't talking to her either. She already figured out that what Jarvis had said during the assembly had set him off. She had never seen him this pissed off at all, he was always mellow and polite, so seeing him angry was a new experience all together.

While de steaming the red head was grunting out words with each blow he dealt to the tree.

" Stupid! Stupid! What does that...fat dumb...bastard even know...Nothing! " He cried out giving the tree one last punch before turning around to sit up against it.

" So...did that help? " Amity asked coming up to him offering a bottle of water from her bag.

" A little bit... " Wilhelm anwsered accepting the offer drinking the contents. " But no... "

" Do you know Jarvis? "

" Tch, yeah I do. But trust me when I say this, he ain't all that good he seems to be. If there's another word for scumbag he fits the bill perfectly. "

" That's because, everyone's stupid. The only reason there's been more attacks because there moving into their territories. " Wilhelm paused for a moment and looked to Amity. " All except you, at least you have a middle head. "

" A middle head? What? " She was so confused by what he just said.

" It's just an expression, no offense intended. " Wilhelm said as he brought himself up sighing a bit. " Everyone keeps getting scared because they don't know them...But honestly, I'm not even sure if I'd be able to show them a completely different side of them. "

Amity could see Wilhelm was very frustrated. She wanted to say something to help him out, but wasn't really sure what to say. So the green head chose her next words carefully. " Well...why don't you then? "

Wilhelm glanced over to her. " What do you mean? "

" What I mean is...Why don't you off your knowledge to the school? "

Wilhelm was about to speak but paused. He then started humming in thought tapping his chin. " T-That actually might work. "

Inside of Bumps office Wilhelm had just brought up his proposition to the principal.

" Absolutely not. " Bump said denying his request.

" Why? " The red head questioned.

" As tempting as the idea sounds, I just don't think it'd be safe. Not to mention, we need the funds to help restore some of the damage that was inflicted upon the school. " He was referring to the same damage after he enrolled Luz and Evan a few weeks ago. Not to mention the devil's eyes fight with the guards caused even more substantial damage to. " I'm sorry Wilhelm, but I don't think we can. However, there might be a way. " Bump spoke up grabbing his attention. " You can do it at the Beast Fair this coming Saturday. "

" The what? " Wilhelm tilted his head in confusion making Bump narrow his eyes at him. " You've been sleeping class haven't you? "

" Not all the time... " He replied nervously scratching the back of his head making the older warlock groan. " As you know Beast Keeping involves the study of magical creatures to help us better understand the wildlife of the Demon realm itself and how we can coexist with them. And once a year the track holds the Beast Fair where the students are able to show off and present a species to educate their fellow students.

" Now normally, I would be against the idea of bringing dragons here, but considering you are 'her' student. II believe it can be done.

" Really? "

" Of course. How many do you intend to bring? "

" Three. Just three. "

" Wonderful, but whatever happens is on you. Since you're responsible for them, understand? "

" Yes sir. "

" Good. Also, one last thing, if you were to have any other student to assist you they would get a very good amount of extra credit. So if you have anyone in particular who you'd like to have assist you, they two would have a benefit to gain from this. "

Wilhelm had just exited out of his office and just outside the door Amity was standing up against the wall. Upon hearing the door open she looked over to see him exit out. First thing he did was walk over to her.

" Well? What did he say? "

" He said that I can bring them in this coming this Saturday. "

" The Beast Fair? He said that was fine? " Wilhelm hummed yes. " He also said that I'm able to bring someone in for assistance...So Amity? Would you be willing to help me? "

" I...I don't know..." Amity anwsered honestly sounding a bit hesitant. " Wilhelm, I'm in the Abomination Track, I never even handled a magical beast before. "

" That's okay, you can be able to do the little things. " Wilhelm reassured. " The rest I can handle, you would just need to follow my lead...But listen, there's a benefit if you do, a large amount of extra credit...speaking of which. Tomorrow, if you decide to help, it'd probably be a good idea if you came over to spend the night at my home. "

" Wait, come to your place? " Seeing her confused and suspicious look Wilhelm put a hand up in defense. " No, no. It's not what you think. I promise you that. " Seeing that she calmed down the red head explained the reason.

" The reason for this is because that way you know what your going to be working with. As for the reason for you spending the night, is so that way we can get started bright and earlier for Saturday. The choice is yours though, no pressure. "

Amity began to ponder on her anwser. On one hand she didn't have to, she would just meet him on Saturday and just get it over with. On the other hand though, Wilhelm made some good pointers. He would be bringing in dragons but which species, he didn't say. So maybe she should go. Also even though she wouldn't admit it, out loud but her curiosity about Wilhelm just spiked a little. If was serious about doing this, then just what exactly does he even do?

" I..I guess I could? "

" Excellent. I'll see you tomorrow. "

The next day after school was done, Amity was waiting in the center of town just like she and Wilhelm agreed.

It took a bit of convincing on her part, but seeing how beneficial the beast fair was going to be and how much extra credit she'd receive, her folks were alright with it, her mother mostly though.

Deep down the green head had to admit, she was a bit nervous. She was always used to hanging out with her group, and at her own place, Blight Manor. This would be the first time in a very long time, she'd ever visit someone else's home, much less a secret friend who clearly had more to him then his appearance showed.

" Sorry to keep you waiting Amity. " She turned over to him walk over to her. " Did I make you wait long? "

" No actually, I just arrived and so did you. "

" Oh, well that's a relief... " The red head said while scratching the side of his head a bit nervously. " I almost forgot and rushed over. But, I guess better safe then sorry right? "

" It can be. So, do you live here in Bones Borough? "

" Actually no. My residence is somewhere else on the isles. Don't worry, I already have my transportation ready. Follow me... " Listening to his words she followed the red head, going down a few alley ways in the process. After a bit they were at the towns water canals. And in one of the canals was a very well large carved canoe that was secured by a piece of rope that was tied to the side.

" Is this how you get around? " Amity questioned a bit in confusion.

" Yes, that's right... " He anwsered walking into it and offered Amity a hand inside.

" I don't get it, if you tamed dragons how come you can't just fly them to school each day? " She asked as she sat down.

" Cause it's not always a good idea to leave them unattended especially in area's like this. " Wilhelm said sitting down and untied the rope and grabbed the paddle using it to push the boat away from it's docking spot. Afterwards the current started moving the vessel. " Everyone tends to over react a bit to much. It'd only draw to much attention. Does that make a bit more sense? "

" And presenting dragons at the Beast Fair isn't? "

" I'm willing to do what I can so that everyone can have a better understanding... " The red head said as sat down and started paddling through the current with ease until they were out of town.

They made a right going towards the mouth of a cave. As they drew closer to the cave Wilhelm made a spell circle and upon doing so the lantern instantly gained some light helping them see through the pitch blackness obscuring their vision.

" So, how have things been with your brother and sister? " Wilhelm questioned as they went through the tunnel. " You know, since the library incident? "

" They've been extra protective, nice and apologetic to make up for it. A bit annoying, but for some reason, I kind of like it. What did you even say to them? "

" I merely reminded them both of how important family is. And how fragile relations can be with the wrong actions, even if they'd have no true intentions on harming you. Not to mention the roles older siblings have as well. "

" Well In any case I appreciate what you did...Come to think of it I never did say thank you for talking to them didn't I? "

" No, but it's fine. I'm glad I was able to help. "

Wilhelm reassured her as they exited out of the tunnel as they did another question entered Amity's mind, but mostly one of curiosity. " So...What about your family? "

" Sorry? " Wilhelm didn't hear her.

" You, and your family. Are you close? "

Hearing this made the red head grow a little silent before exhaling. " It's...very complicated... " He managed to say.

" How so? "

" I rather not talk about it...Not yet at least... " The red head said in a solemn tone and Amity could tell right there that he too had issues with his own family. Deep down, she knew exactly what that was like.

" So, do you live alone? "

" No, I live my guardian Saul. "

" What's he like? "

" He's mostly calm, but always serious most of the time. Even so, he's got a good heart, despite being an Orc. "

" Wait, your caretaker is an orc? "

" Are you surprised? "

" Well yeah, there always rarely seen on the Boiling Isles. What does he do? "

" He's a doctor, he makes round around the isles looking for work, that's why he's barely home most of the time. "

The mint raised an eyebrow. " An orc doctor? "

" As crazy as that sounds, you heard right... " Wilhelm said as he used the paddle to make them turn to the left.

" Where are we going anyways? " Amity asked in confusion.

" Were almost there... " He replied as they started entering a clearing that was full of trees submerged in the water, and there was a drastic increase of vegetation all around with various amphibious creatures. Before long, Wilhelm started turning his boat sideways with the paddle getting it to a small dock. As Amity got up she looked at her surroundings while Wilhelm just finished tying his 'transportation' in place.

" Follow me. " Wilhelm said as she began to follow him. " Wilhelm, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this Gloomuck Swamp? "

" Ah, yes, good guess. " He confirmed impressed with her knowledge of the area as he moved a large leaf to enter inside of a giant log.

" You live here? "

" I do. "

" Why? "

" I spent a large portion of my childhood here. " Wilhelm anwsered as they got through to the other side. " The swamp actually has much to offer and different lessons to learn. But aside from that it's actually a nice place, once you get used to it. But I understand where you going with that question, and yes, Gloomuck Swamp can be extremely dangerous, and only a handful of witches and warlocks can call this place home. Plus, it's beneficial for my work. "

" Work? "

" You'll find out soon. " The red head said as they traversed up a hill through thick tall grass once they were at the top a massive clearing was revealed. " Amity, welcome to Gloomuck Hollow. "

The house itself was rather large, if Amity had to guess it was nearly big as her home Blight Manor itself. Although it looked like it had signs that indicated it had seen better days such as the old paint that was peeling off of it.

" This is your home? "

" Hmhm. It might not seem like much...But, it is home. " Wilhelm commented as they both made their way down and got to the front door. " Be sure to wipe off your feet, if you'd be so kind. I don't like tracking in dirt. " He said with a small smile as he entered as did Nara flew off. He turned over to the witch. " Well? Come on in. "

The inside of the house was rather organized, the walls had a hideous color to it. There were also quite a few book shelves all around, and decorating the walls were a variety of different items, primarily skulls, a coupe paintings, a few photo's and some weapons for decoration. She also saw Nara who was sleeping in a small bed up in one of the shelves.

Right now the two of them were in the living room. It had a fair amount of space. There were small size two couches with a coffee table in the middle and a chair at the left end facing the wall.

" So? What do you think? "

" Its actually nice... " Amity admitted as she while going up to a few of the skulls with interest. While doing so she a cabinet and opened it. Inside were a series of glass vials on the inside of the door was a list full of names, numbers and few erased spots.

" Wilhelm what's this? " Seeing what she was in, the warlock in question quickly rushed over to her with a worried expression on his face. " No, no, no, no, don't mess with that. That's the Toxin cabinet! "

" Toxin cabinet!? " Hearing that she backed up quickly as she could. " Why do you have this!? "

" Easy, to make anti venom. " Wilhelm anwsered as he gently closed the doors as he turned around sighing in relief. " Okay, note to self, defiantly put a warning label on this and everything else that could most likely...no indefinitely, kill you. But then again, I normally don't have any guests. "

Once that was said a loud powerful roar was heard coming from outside, loud enough it shook the house making Amity scramble over to one of the couch's to hide.

" What was that!? " She asked poking her head up looking around making sure there was nothing around.

" Ah, right, better to get to feeding them... " Wilhelm said proceeding to his back door. " They can get really cranky when there hungry. "

" Feeding who? " Amity questioned as the red headed warlock opened up the door and turned around to face her.

" See for yourself. " Wilhelm motioned her to follow him while he rushed outside. As she followed him out, different sounds were heard, chirping, groaning, wailing, all kinds of sounds she never heard before.

As soon as she exited out the back door, she was baffled to see that there was a huge opening the kind where it seemed where the forest or in this case swamp, was practically in your own backyard.

She saw Wilhelm gazing up a tree. Up at the very top was large dragon, most of it's entire body was crimson red, while underneath was a colored dark navy blue. It had markings around it's eyes, a large amount of spikes on the middle of it's head with a few more running down it's sides seven on each side. Both of it's wings were folded down on it's back.

The young warlock then proceeded to heave the bucket up and poured into a large metal bowl. Large amounts of fish poured out of it, and while he did the dragon watched him. Once he was finished he looked up to the reptile and motioned his hand in a way telling it to 'come here'.

" C'mon, down you go...time to eat. " Wilhelm said to the reptile who proceeded to climb its way down the tree. " That's it...That's a good girl... "

" What is that? "

" This species are called Tussleroth. They earned the nick name 'Mountain Fighter' for a reason. "

Still in awe she tried to make her way forward keeping her gaze locked on the dragon but only for it to growl. Seeing this Wilhelm held a hand out motioning the witch to stop while he put an arm around the beast.

" Wait, no, Amity stay there. She's a wee bit sensitive to strangers... " He said before petting Sheila to calm her down. " Easy does it...it's okay...I found her last year. She was trafficed, when I did find her, she was all chained up as a main attraction over seas. Her 'handler's' broke her left wing. " He said motioning to the said wing that was covered in scars and the webbing between the bones had faint traces of gashes. " I couldn't just leave her there. " He then gently hugged up on the dragon's head lightly petting it. " It's a bit of a process, but once her wing heals completely, I'll take her home, huh Sheila? Back to where you belong. To the untamed wilds of Blackspire Gorge. " He then let go of the reptile and let her eat her meal.

As she was eating, Wilhelm turned his attention to a clearing in the forest that was full of rocks but only had a few small puddles. Putting both hands together he made some sort of call and started making his way over to that direction with Amity following him keeping her eyes glued on Sheila and didn't pay enough attention to see a dragon resembling a humming bird zip across her face.

Naturally she flinched in surprise and heard him make the same call again and looked over to see a dragon that had no wings. It was covered in thick rocks all over it's back, including moss, it's most noticeable trait was it's solid white head.

" Amity c'mon. "

" What are you doing? "

" Calling them. "

" Calling who? "

He didn't reply and made the same call again. In the distance the water began to ripple into large amounts of bubbles making Wilhelm smile. " Ah, here they come. "

" What? " She was starting to get nervous.

" Selka's. " Suddenly something bursted from the water splashing both teens what emerged out of the water was an aquatic dragon with a very long neck and had a very light blue skin tone instead of scales, much like an eel. It's most distinct feature was a frill on the back of it's head

" Whoa! " Startled by it's sudden size Amity fell down onto her back and started skidding back in fear. " Whoa! " Seeing this Wilhelm quickly brought the witch back to her feet. " You're alright, you're alright. They won't harm you. " The one that just emerged lowered down it's head looking the young warlock directly in the eye.

" Hi... " It started rubbing it's slimy head up against the red head who chuckled lightly at the affection he was getting. " Hi sweety... " As he was interacting with it, a much smaller one emerged and started rubbing up against Amity. Before long another adult and four other younglings emerged.

" These two are the last breeding pair in existence. The fact that I was able to rescue them was a miracle. If not, then it would've been the end of the Selka's forever. "

" Why? "

" Because they're been over hunted for their hides. Really sad though, these are beautiful creatures. Okay, everyone chow time! " He cried out and used his magic to make a large bucket pour into the water. When the fish got into there, they started eating. With those dragons fed he started walking around and feed the others as Amity followed behind him.

" So, wait you rescue these dragons? "

" Correct. " Wilhelm confirmed casually throwing a large piece of meat that got swarmed by a pack of small dragons resembling salamanders. " Rescue, nurture, and protect them. While also gathering important information to learn more. "

Right then from one of the tree's a dragon with butterfly like wings was glaring down at him snarling at him. It had color patterns resembling a monarch butterfly not to mention for some weird reason it was wearing a cone around it's neck.

" Don't give me that attitude, it's for own good. " Wilhelm said to the beast. " You need to stop chewing your tail, it's for your own good. "

" As fascinating as this is, isn't it hard to look after all these dragons? "

" Normally no. However there once in a while cases where some don't trust me completely. Not that I blame them. Some were treated so badly that hate all witch's and warlocks. Which is why I have my assistants. " He then proceeded to whistle and got a roar back in response, followed by a loud grunt and a screech. From above a heavy wing beat was heard.

Both witch and warlock looked up to see a two legged dragon with large black wings that had bright orange webbing. The top part of its body was pitch black minus the crimson red spiked frills. The black scales were also above it's mouth. Leaving only orange smooth skin exposed, including a few sharp teeth were sticking from it's jawline. It's eyes were dark brown, with blue marks at the bottom of it's eyes, Lastly the rest of it's body was white, it's torso, underbelly, and it's legs including it's whole tail. This type of species was called, Blazing Scourge.

Then loud stomps were heard indicating something was running. They both looked over to the right and saw a very large and obese dragon running towards them. It's lumpy body was covered in light brown scales. It did have two wings with blue webbing but they were very small. It's most noticeable feature was it's face, it was horrendous, and wrinkled like a bulldog even underneath it's mouth. This oversized reptile was called an Ugly Freezer.

At the same time something began to crawl out of the nearby water. Unlike the other dragons, this one was very aquatic meaning it was meant for the water and not so much for land, as it did not have any wings at all. What made this one stand out were it's very vibrant colors. It top part of it's head was red, it's entire neck was blue minus underneath the neck and it's under belly were dark green. It was mostly covered in orange frills with green webbing. There were frills on the side of it's head and some on the back of it's neck with a few running down it's back. It's legs were colored orange which also had green webbing. It's tail was blue like most of it's neck it with three spikes at the end of it. This species were known as a Aquadon.

While Wilhelm smiled upon seeing them, Amity was a bit nervous and was actually hiding behind him, which was understandable considering these powerful beasts could kill someone with no problem at all.

" Don't worry, they're my friends... " Wilhelm smiled as he approached the dragons before him and gently started petting each one who either leaned forward or lowered their head.

" Your friends? " Wilhelm only hummed back in acknowledgement as she watched the Ugly Freezer rub it''s head up against him very lots of affection, showing clearly it was happy to see him. " They are also the ones we'll be bringing in tomorrow. " He started introducing them starting with the intimidating one. " This is Cole... " He moves onto the ugly freezer who was panting like a dog. " Bomper and. this is-... " He was interrupted by the Aquadon who was thrashing his head around irritation. " Tide... "

" What's wrong with him? " Amity asked clearly confused by the way it was acting out.

" Tide's been acting up for a few days, now actually. " Wilhelm anwsered. " He won't eat, he doesn't want his saddle on, nothing. He's just one unhappy dragon... " He then pondered in thought. " Unless... " Reaching into his pack he pulls out a pair of pliers.

" Okay Tide, I'm gonna need you to open... " Before he try anything the beast snapped it's jaws making Wilhelm jump back. He narrowed his eyes while the beast growled trying to tell him to get back. " Alright, Tide you leave me no choice... " With those words said, Wilhelm removed his gloves throwing them onto the ground and held up his hands for Tide to see much to Amity's confusion as he slowly walked up forward to him. " Good...That's it...good boy... " He said getting up real close and bit onto his nose surprising Amity as he was yelping in pain for a moment until Wilhelm backed up and spit whatever got into his mouth.

" Come! " He pointed down to the ground where he was and just like that Tide walked up to him.

" Did you just...bite your dragon on the snout? " Amity asked still trying to absorb what she just saw.

" Sometimes you do it to show them who's boss, that your the alpha. My mentor told me that's what your supposed to do. First time I did it though, she commented on how 'she never met anyone dumb enough to do it'. " He chuckled lightly remembering that moment as he reached into his pocket pulling out a magnifying glass.

" Okay, Tide open up. " It shook his head no. " C'mon! " Wilhelm groaned at his dragon's stubborn attitude. " I know your mouth hurts, and we gotta address that. Now open your mouth or I'll kill ya! " The red head demanded until Tide did so while Amity watched on in awe. She's heard of wizards and warlocks taming even the fiercest of beasts, but this right here, was a real treat.

" There we go, good boy. " Wilhelm started to look at his teeth on the bottom row and then the left side bottom row. " Aha, there's the problem. " He spotted a chipped tooth on the upper right hand side. As he started pulling on it, Tide shook his head showing that it hurt him. Wilhelm calmed him down putting his left hand on his cheek.

" Easy, Tide, easy. Alright, trust me, you know I won't hurt you. " He said in a reassuring tone and yanked it out making Tide yelp out a bit. While Wilhelm held out the tooth with a smirk. Amity couldn't help but give him a light applaud impressed by what he did.

" I have to admit, that was impressive. A bit to close for comfort, but still impressive. "

Tide started rubbing up against Wilhelm in a very affectionate way, giving him thanks for what he did. " Here's a common fact when raising dragons, they need a good dental hygiene, just like we do. They don't have the lux y of doing it themselves, so that's always important to know. "

" Really? "

" You might not believe it, but sometimes I deal with angry dragons, almost every single one had the same problem. A rotted or broken tooth. "

" I had no idea. "

" Oh yeah, that just goes to show we got another thing in common with them. "

" So do you like brush there teeth or something? "

" Every morning and each night, three days a week, with flossing of course. Good thing to, cause there breath can pretty bad. " While Amity chuckled a bit she felt something nudge her, the witch turned around to see Bomper who for some reason laid down on it's side showing off it's it's big belly.

" Huh? " Amity turned to Wilhelm in confusion.

" Don't mind him. He just wants you to scratch his belly. "

" Oh...Like this? " She reaches out and starts scratching much to Bomper's delight. Chuckling a bit, Wilhelm took her hand and moved it down more to the middle. At first she was about to protest but after seeing his tail starting to go up and down like crazy, she realized that was his spot that he enjoyed most.

After that brief introduction and a brief tour Amity had just exited out of the guest room now wearing some pj's. An orange shirt with white outlines, purple bottoms and she didn't have her hair tied she was just letting it hang out.

Sighing in content from the shower she entered into the kitchen where she smelled something very pleasant cooking in an oven.

" Raa! "

" Huh? " She turned over to the window and saw Wilhelm who was with another dragon. It was humungous, and brown hair. It also had patches of skin that resembled solid rock, there were small spikes on it's legs. The beast also had four large tusks and a very distinct black v shaped crest on it's forehead.

" Raaa! " The redhead did a roar.

The dragon mimicked what he did and Amity watched as he stomped his right leg onto the ground. The dragon did the same. The red head used the same foot he planted to trace a line in the ground which the beast mimicked. Now even more curious she walked outside to watch what he was doing.

Wilhelm turned around and started making some grunting noises. The dragon continued to mimic him even as he skidded sideways making more grunting noises and turned around. He grunted jerking his head to the left and turned around again skidding to the right and spun around. The dragon continued mimicing his movements both were in complete synch before they both rolled on their backs and got back up onto their feet grunting once more.

After that was done, Wilhelm gave a round of applause walking up to the reptile. " Atta boy, Wallace, good job! The ladies will defiantly have a hard time resisting your smooth moves there... "

" What are you doing? " Amity asked making the redhead look over to her. " You saw that didn't you? "

" Hard not to after you hear a bunch of weird noises. " Amity confirmed and walked up beside him. " So you even have a Wooly Rock Walker? " Hearing the species name made Wilhelm glance over at her clearly surprised she knew what it was. " I read a lot, and sometimes I mix things up a little. So what were you doing? "

" Teaching Wallace his species mating dance. " Wilhelm anwsered as he started petting the said reptile.

" Mating dance? " She looked to him in confusion. " Isn't he already supposed to know? "

" For some dragons they do know because it's in there genes. As for the rest is like, going to a brothel. "

Amity cringed her face slightly at what he said and the warlock noticed. " Yeah, not really pleasant. But anyways, while it might sound far-fetched there are dragons that raise stay with their mates and raise their hatchings just like a family would. The father, is usually the one who teaches the male hatchlings the dance and the mothers would teach the female hatchlings...It is because of this that overtime the family can grow into a herd, with the oldest holding leadership, the males would have their choice of a mate, expanding the herd, and once the the suited partners are acquainted with each other, they stay with one another for life. "

" What would happen if one of the partners died? Do they find a new mate? "

" No...They don't, the bonds that they have are irreplaceable. That's the thing about Wolly Rock Walkers, to them family means everything to them. They mourn for there dead and defend there own. "

" So if all that's true, how come this one is with you? "

For a brief moment Wilhelms eyes could be seen and he was frowning. " Wallace's life has been unfortunate...sadly...About a year ago, I was tracking his herd. But when I found it...They were all dead...every single one of them...Not for their meat, but for sport...Damn nobles took pleasure in killing them...Wallace was all that was left of them... " The red head sighed sadly upon remembering that memory. As he did, Wallace came up to Wilhelm and started rubbing up against him. In return the warlock petted him. " Everyone thinks dragons are mindless monsters, but were no different at times are we? "

" No were not... " Amity anwsered as she came up next to him and started petting Wallace to. " So how old is he? "

Wilhem smiled and leaned over to whisper. " He's actually still a baby. "

" Are you kidding me? "

" No I am not. " Wilhelm replied as the sound of a buzzer was heard signaling that dinner was ready to be served. " So, hungry? "

The rest of the night went pretty good, as did dinner itself. It might've not been something that Amity didn't eat by her family's standards, but even good quality Pasta was something she wouldn't complain about.

Now inside the kitchen Wilhelm was doing dishes while wearing his own set of pj's. A blue shirt that was a bit big and loose for him including some grey shorts. At the living room Amity was reading a book about Cole, Bomper and Tide's species. She was never into the demon realms Zoology but seeing all this new information she never knew about was actually exciting and a nice change of pace. Sure she was fine making Abominations but after a while it'd boring until she found something else to make the witch challenge herself.

" You sure you don't want me to help? It's the least I could do. "

" No, it's quite alright. Did you like it? "

" I will admit, at first I was squeamish but that was actually really good. Thank you. "

" Well, I'm pleased to hear that... "

" You know Wilhelm, I know this sounds hard to believe, but I'm actually glad I decided to come here. "

" No, I believe you. But from the tone of your voice, you sound like you have a lot on your mind. "

The young witch realized what she did and quickly tried to change the subject. " No, nothing's wrong. I'm okay. "

Wilhelm only sighed as he finished what he was doing and went into the living room taking a seat on the couch to face her not really buying what she was saying. " Clearly your not. Want to talk about it? "

Amity only sighed shaking her head. " No, Wilhelm it's fine. Really. "

" Well respectively you ought to tell that to somebody else. You have something on your mind and repressing it will do you no good. "

She raised an eyebrow hearing his words. " What are you a psychiatrist now? "

" I can be a therapist if that'd make feel more comfortable. " Wilhelm offered getting a small laugh out of her. " But really, it's okay. If you don't want to talk about it, that's up to you. However what I said about repressing something on your mind isn't good, every once in a while, everyone needs someone to talk to. Just be honest, how do you really feel? "

" I guess...nervous, glad? I don't know. "

" Don't you ever spend time with your friends? "

" Well, yeah. I do, but...not like this. Wilhelm, what do you know about my family? "

" Just only that your known for not only your wealth and high status and standards just like every other rich family on the isles. Including some of the unsavory rumors focusing on Blight Industries and it's shady dealings. No offense. "

" Non taken. " Amity assured him. Over the years while growing up the witch had also heard rumors about her family making deals with some 'shady characters'. Most of the time she'd write it off, but sometimes, she knew deep down those rumors were true. " But your not wrong, my family does take their status seriously and only wants me and my siblings to associate with other powerful, wealthy, witch's and warlocks. "

" I already figured as much. But, you and your siblings don't show it. Emira and Edric don't really act like the way there expected to. You on the other hand, do show it. Only for the whole image to be a fake, only just a mask hiding your real self. "

" What makes you so sure? "

Wilhelm leaned forward intertwining his hands allowing his eyes to be seen. " Because you agreed to come here because you wanted to. Not because you were told. Am I wrong? "

For a moment Amity closed her eyes going in though for a moment before reopening them. " No... No you're not... "

" Amity? "

" Hm? "

" I want you to anwser me truthfully, am I really your friend? " Despite not showing any reaction the witch actually looked a bit hurt at this question. " Why are you asking me this? "

" I am just curious...and a part of me wants to know. "

Amity diverted her gaze for a moment while Wilhelm kept his gaze locked onto her much like one of his own dragons eyeing in on their prey in the wild while hunting. This showed that the red head was serious and he only just wanted an honest awnser. And she was going to give him one.

" Yes, you are...and I'll be frank Wilhelm honestly, in these last few weeks alone and even though I don't others to know. You've actually been the first real friend I had in a long time. You genuinely wanted to be not for your own benefit or to get something out of it. "

" Why? Don't you get along with your friends at all? " Amity frowned at this shaking her head. " No. The only reason I'm friends with them is because my parents and their parents are acquainted with each other. I honestly never liked them from the start. "

" So basically, they wanted you all to be together for their own benefits? " Wilhelm summarized and got a nod back from her. " I'm sorry to hear that... "

" It's alright... "

" Amity no... " Wilhelm reached out and gently took her hand giving the witch a kind smile. " You don't need or have to lie to yourself...Even though you might have all that money and power, you still have something common as the rest of us do...You have a heart and good one at that. "

As he let go of her hand a clock began to ring grabbing both of their attention. They got a look at the time. " Ten'o clock. We better turn in. Have a good night Amity. " Wilhelm got up from his seat and made his way down into the hall going to his room leaving.

As for the witch herself she couldn't help but smile, recalling those words that he said. Now more then ever was she glad to have agreed this, because for once she didn't have to act or hide anything. She was able to be herself.

With what seemed like would take forever but was also short at the same a new day had now came. Waking up early Wilhelm made breakfast to help start the day off right afterwards they got to work. The first thing they did was get the stuff they needed. The tent was already at the school grounds so all they needed was to bring the necessary equipment, surprisingly enough much to Amity's surprise Wilhelm already it. The only catch was the red head had to make a few trips from his house and back to the convention center. Luckily for him Cole was strong enough for the hauling.

While he was doing that Amity had started setting up there tent. All in all they got finished in at least one hour before it had began. The Beast Fair did in fact live up to it's name, students from the Beast Keeping track were presenting the beasts they had, such as griffons, over sized insects, all kinds of creatures and usually the kids from the rich family's brought in something exotic. So it was anyone's guess on who'd most likely win first place.

Peaking from behind the curtain Wilhelm looked outside to see all the visitors browsing at the various beasts that were on display. He was now wearing a long sleeved dark gray garb, dark brown pants, and was wearing gold colored scarf around his neck.

" You okay? " Amity asked walking up to him. Instead of wearing her school uniform she was now wearing a black short sleeved dress with orchid leggings and black point shoes with golden crescent moon buckles. Around her neck was an amulet with an orchid gemstone.

" Yeah...A little nervous to be honest... " Wilhelm admitted as Nara came flying and landed on top of his head. " How are they? "

" They seem, fine to me. " The witch anwsered as Wilhelm made his way into the room where his three other dragons were at, sitting comfortably in their nests all except Tide was just chilling in a large clear pool full of water. " What do you think? "

" They're okay, just not to used to have so many around them all at once. But we'll be fine. " Wilhelm said before a voice was heard from outside.

" Excuse me? " Both Wilhelm and Amity exchanged a look of confusion. So they went out to investigate much to Wilhelm's annoyance it was Jarvis.

" Can we help you? "

" I believe you can. " The over weighted warlock replied crossing his arms. " You can get out of here. "

" What? " Amity couldn't believe what she was hearing. " You can't do that! "

" Yes, I can, unless you show your permit. " Wilhelm brought out the said permit and handed it to Jarvis. Upon doing so, he ripped it to shreds and he smirked. " Looks like you ain't got no permit. "

" Oh you mean this permit? " Wilhelm inquired holding the same paper he had. " I made plenty of copies. So kindly step out and leave use alone. "

Jarvis growled as he lowered down getting right up into Wilhelm's face. " You just picked the wrong guy to mess with kid. "

" To bad, your not the first to say that. " Wilhelm replied shrugging his shoulders. " Now I ask you once again, leave. " Jarvis scoffed as he exited out of there tent.

" Something tells me he's going to be a problem... " Amity said in a worried tone.

" I'm sure he will be as well. However, should that moment arrive, it will be dealt with. For right now let us focus on what we need to do. " Wilhelm said as he went off to make sure everything was getting set for their presentation.

For the past two hours at the theater of the convention center each student participating in the Beast Fair made their presentation showing off their beasts and knowledge by either demonstration or anwsering questions from the guests attending it.

Right now a girl with brown hair had just made her way through the curtains with a griffon right beside her. She'd just finished her presentation behind the curtains Wilhelm was taking in some deep breaths and exhaling.

" Wilhelm, calm down. Everything's fine. "

" I know, just trying to get last moment jitters out of my system. " The red head replied back to Amity. " How are you feeling? "

" I feel pretty confident...compared to what happened the last time I was here... " She said grumbling at that last part. " But don't worry you'll be fine. "

" Alright, alright... " Wilhelm started to slowly calm down. " I got this...Are you sure your fine with me being the one talking through the whole presentation? I don't want to feel like I'm hogging the spot light. "

" Yeah, I'm fine with it. You know more about them then I do. "

" And now our final presentation, may Wilhelm Soulbane and Amity Blight please enter? " Bump's voice was heard over the mic.

" Alright...Here we go...You remember what to do? " He got a 'hmhm' from the witch in response. The curtains opened and the two of them came out, as to be expected there were indeed a lot of spectators. Bump walked up to them and passed Wilhelm the mic.

" I hope you'll give us quite a show. " He said before walking off to watch from the sidelines.

Wilhelm cleared his throat before speaking. " First, I'd to thank you all for your presence. Now I am sure many of you are wondering what do we have to show? I can provide assurance and say you are all in for quite a last treat. As some of you know, through out history dragons have been revered both in the underworld and the human world, depicted as just mere monsters. However, in truth they are so misunderstood. So right now were going to present not only one, but three different species of dragons." That last word defiantly got the spectators attention and making them anxious, talking among themselves. " Not only will we try to teach you to respect these animals, but also teach you why we need dragons in our environment. Before we start, I assure you all that they are not only fully tamed and trained but also docile, unless you try to provoke them. With that out of the way, let's begin...First, we have the Aquadon! "

Right on que the floor of the theater opened and large volumes of water started emerging. As it happened, both warlock and witch used their magic to make the water to float up into the air creating giant bubbles. Once it was done Tide came skimming through much to the crowds surprise as they watched him jump up into one of the bubbles, swimming around inside before jumping into another.

" As most of you probably know while Aquadon's have breathtaking appearances, with their bright colors, make no mistake their lethal predators and make no exception. Aquadon's can grow up to at least 26 feet in length and weigh up to at least 2300 pounds. Tide is no different in terms of ferocity from the rest of his kind. What makes these creatures a challenging foe in the water are it's tail fins. One swipe alone, is capable of creating whirlpools and forming massive waves that could even sink the best ships known in the underworld. But while it is true that they are formidable, and can cause such havoc, there have been reports of them helping stranded witches and warlocks out in the middle of the Boiling seas. "

A hand rose in the stands belonging to a witch from Hexside. " Ah, you in the very back. " A spot light shone on the spot where the witch sat.

" If that's true, then why do they do it? What's in it for them? "

" That's honestly difficult to say. I've yet to see it for myself in the wild. The only theory is that if they help a witch or warlock,

" For those curious to know how I acquired Tide, it was well over three years ago. I found him on a beach, wrapped up in a net and was injured, no doubt the work from poachers. Because of this, he was seperated from his pod. After treating his injuries, I set out to help him find them. But after two weeks of searching, they were no where to be found. He's been with me ever since and has become a crucial asset when it comes to water. " As he was explaining Tide slapped his tail out to splash the red head making everyone laugh including Amity before she shutted up upon getting splashed herself triggering more laughter.

Wilhelm made a small spell circle that dried there clothes and themselves off while Tide emitted a gurgling noise that sounded like laughter. " Oh, I'm most pleased to see you find it funny. Thank you Tide. " With that said the said dragon leapt out of the bubble he was in and darted back to the curtains while the water went back into the floor.

" Now for our second dragon. A species that are most well known at the Knee, the Ugly Freezer. " The curtains opened and Bomper came walking out, each step he took shook the ground as he approached the warlock and witch.

" Quite a site is he not? Now for those that do not know this, this species are very well known for their appearance. While not the most pleasant, these dragons are quite a handful if you were to ever face one in the wild. "

A hand rose up in the stands. " Yes, you there. " A spot light hit a young warlock barely in his teens. " How big can they get? "

" Approximately 20 feet tall and 55 feet wide. There's also records indicating that they can even reach larger proportions then that. The largest one on record was 31 feet tall and 73 feet wide weighing in well over 30 tons of pure fat and muscle. Despite that they're still able to fly, but only a short amount of distance. Now, hench there names, these dragons are among only one of ten species that have an Ice breath. And out of the ten, it's breath is ranked number four for the coldest, all the way to -45degree's celsius. We'll provide you a demonstration. "

Making a spell circle Amity summoned an abomination. Everyone watched as Bomper took in a deep breath, as he did so his cheeks puffed out. Afterwards he released a stream of cold mist that went over to the abomination completely encasing it in massive chunk of ice much to the crowds awe before Bomper swung his tail making it shatter into a million pieces and the crowd was absolutely loving it.

They then watched as Bomper laid down on the ground sideways.

" Now for those confused, don't worry there's nothing to be alarmed about. He just simply wants some affection. " Wilhelm explained as Amity scratched the large reptiles favorite spot making his tail swish left and like crazy making the audience laugh at the funny display.

" As you can all clearly see, he loves his belly being scratched. " He said before Bomper leanded down and gave the young warlock a big wet kiss with his large tongue lifting him up in the air much to the audiences amusement.

" Alright, That's enough of that. " Wilhelm exclaimed just as Bomper went up to him and gave him a big wet kiss with his tongue lifting the red head up in the air. The end result got everyone laughing, cause now he was all wet, sticky and the slob made his way stick up. Among those who were laughing Amity was one of them cause even she had to admit it was pretty funny. Yet despite that 'gross love' he kept on a straight face. " Thank you Bomper. " Everyone gave a round of applause while Wilhelm splashed himself with some water thanks to his magic.

" And now, my fellow Warlock and Witch alike, the last beast of display for tonight...This dragon is known far and wide through out the underworld itself...On a seamlessly calm night, the flames would ignite billowing high, make no mistake, as fire scorches the earth lighting the sky, better make haste. For when this burning fiend sets his eyes on you, say goodbye. I present, The Lord of Searing Flames, The Blazing Scourge! "

Right on que Cole came flying out much to everyone's awe and shock triggering multiple gasps. The powerful beast circled over the seated spectators and in the process, he unleashed a mighty roar letting loose some flames alarming a few of them before calming down and watched as Cole landed behind Wilhelm.

" Yes, you heard right, and what you see is in fact real, your eyes do not deceive you one bit. This is a Blazing Scourge in the flesh. I'm sure most of you are well aware, these dragons earned there title for just burning down villages, no? " He got the crowd murmuring to each other until one spoke up.

" Well yeah, how else did it? "

" That is half right actually... " Wilhelm replied as Cole leaned his head down and the red head gave his dragon what he wanted and started petting him. " You see, well over five hundred years ago in the Old Age, these dragons were bred for one purpose and one purpose only, to help wage war. There the result of cross breeding multiple species of dragon to make their ultimate weapons. However, after two hundred years, when things started settling down and a few of the wars ended, the Blazing Scourges, were finally set free, and were no longer the tools for war they were thought to be. Very rarely, do these beasts come to the Isles, almost one chance to none do Beast Keepers alike, are able to study this fantastic beast much less finding out where they live, how they hunt, how they breed and how they socialize. But I believe "

A hand raised up and the spot light hit a much older witch. " If that's true how did you acquire it then? "

" Well first of, 'it's' a he. And second no, I did not acquire him. But rather, by chance. Five years ago, Cole there were a series of attacks occurring on the Isles, and the reason why was because he was injured and was being persued relentlessly by hunters. Once the hunters were subdued, Cole was secured and given the proper treatment he needed, when the time came for him to leave, instead he stayed and has been by my side since. This is an example that shows even the fiercest of beasts can express gratitude and respect just like we do. I can understand the fear we have for dragons and they're there for a reason. But that's just part of nature, the reason there are more attacks , the reason we are seeing more movement is because little by little, were intruding on their territory. So in the future, we need to be aware that they're here, alive and well. Hopefully with enough effort, we can learn how to coexist with these creatures you could possibly befriend them if you try and put in enough effort to do so. "

" That's it! " A voice yelled up from in the audience. Everyone diverted their attention to the higher stands. Wilhelm merely scoffed seeing that it was Jarvis who was extremely pissed off. " I'm getting sick of hearing this garbage! Dragons, our friends!? That's nothing more then a lie! "

" Your so dead set on following your ideals, but so am I. The only difference is yours is irrelevant. "

" The hell it is! " He jumped from the stands landing in the center. " That's why were going to settle things. I challenge you to a Warlock Duel! " Hearing this sudden decleration shocked my of the students and

" That's to far! " Bump objected. " Wilhelm has every right to...

" I shall accept. " The red head spoke up cutting off the principal from talking and got his attention.

" No, this is unnecessary...I won't allow it... "

Wilhelm glanced over to the elder warlock. " I understand, where your coming from...But this is something that can't be done with just mere words alone. In this case action must be taken. "

Bump stared into Wilhelm's yellow eyes and just one look alone was enough to tell him that this was something had to be done. Sure he was only just a student, but this was a side that he'd never seen of Wilhelm before. The same kind of resolve that he knew from Evan and his father Philip, but also two other former students that attended Hexside as well.

With a reluctant sigh he gave him an awnser. " Very well. "

Now from what transpired weeks ago from the annual convention from the witch's duel between Lilith Clawthorne and Eda The Owl Lady, extra protective measures were taken. For protection, a powerful barrier was made to prevent others getting caught in the cross fires of battle.

For extra measures Wilhelm placed a special magic chain on his dragons so they wouldn't enter his battle. After calming them down and giving the reptiles reassurance he made his way out to where he needed to be.

" Wilhelm! " A voice stopped him in his tracks and he looked up ahead to see it was Amity. " What are you doing? "

" Confronting a problem. "

" Are you out of your mind? "

" No. I haven't lost my sanity. " Wilhelm replied once again in his usual tone making Amity groan in frustration. " Do you even know who your fighting against? "

" Yes, yes I do...Are you worried? "

" N-no! " The witch denied. " But that's not the point, Wilhelm he's worked under the Emperor's Coven, hunted down countless rouge beasts and your just a simple beast keeper. "

Wilhelm hummed sounding a bit amused by what she said. Meanwhile she realized what she had said. " I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean... " Instead letting her continue to talk, the red head continued walking forward passing by the witch and patted her shoulder confusing the mint head greatly. She realized right there he had already made up his mind and he was not going to change it.

Wilhelm entered back into 'their arena' both sides stared down at one another from their respective spots.

" You ready for your beat down little punk!? "

Jarvis questioned making the first move and created a large orange spell circle that shot out a whole bunch of fireballs. Despite what was coming, the red head oddly calm, to calm.

Instead Wilhelm just waved his hand out doing a circle motion and this in turn made all the fire balls shooting towards him float into it. One by one they were all taken together merging into one single massive fireball much to everyone's surprise.

"I am...are you? " Wilhelm returned as he casually tossed it back at Jarvis at high speeds. Cursing under his breath Jarvis quickly made a barrier of his own that barely managed to block the explosion making it crack. Through the smoke Jarvis chuckled.

" Wow, not to bad right there...I'm honestly surprised... "

" You made the mistake of thinking I was just some more child... " Wilhelm retorted back while Jarvis made a spell circle causing a series of spiked rock pillars to shoot out of the ground going towards Wilhelm.

He in turn made a spell circle and swiped his left hand across it creating a blade of air that actually cut through through the incoming rocks. Seeing this the over weight warlock ducked down letting the attack hit the barrier protecting the crowd dissipating instantly upon contact.

" While you got fancy tricks, can you really hold your own? " Jarvis questioned before going on the offensive and created a battle axe made out of fire and charged.

The red head in turn created a weapon of his own, a pole staff made out of light, and blocked it he made the weapon go to the ground used the body of it slam into Jarvis's face making him stumble back a bit.

Wilhelm humped as Jarvis growled in anger and started swinging his axe around furiously while the red head dodged with ease, barely even breaking a sweat as he jabbed the end of his weapon into Jarvis's stomach. While he flinched the young warlock spun his staff around hitting his back, and then planted his staff into the ground using to swing himself around to kick his opponent away rolling across the ground.

" Had enough? " Wilhelm questioned as Jarvis got back up on his feet and created a large spell circle above him. As he did a series of rocks appeared swirling above the young warlock who hummed despite the rocks slamming at him. Then a split minute later, Wilhelm came bursting out of the ground behind Jarvis.

" I'm over here. " He made a small spell circle which created a fireball that shot out to Jarvis who rolled to the side avoiding an explosion. After getting himself back up, Jarvis made more rocks shoot out of the ground darting towards Wilhelm who spun his staff around his body and planted one of the bottoms of it causing the rocks to shatter instantly. Afterwards he spun his weapon around some again and planted the other end to the ground causing the shattered pieces to float around him.

He swung his staff sending the rocks flying back at Jarvis who made his barrier which managed to block each and every one until it shattered getting hit by a fireball.

" Not bad...Not bad at all... " Jarvis panted showing he was starting to get tired while Wilhelm was still calm. " But I still got one trick up my sleeve... " Everyone watched as Jarvis used his right foot to create a spell circle around him before he stomped his left onto the ground itself. This caused at least dozens of spiked rocks to shoot out of the ground like crazy giving the teen little of no room to move.

While most thought so, Wilhelm thought otherwise. He threw his staff into the air and started running and jumping through the rocks as fast as he could. As time seemed to slow down, Wilhelm was just mere inches away from his weapon that he grabbed. With his weapon at hand, Wilhelm started spinning the staff around his body like crazy diving down to the ground.

As he came down, Wilhelm raised his staff up high above him gripping it with both hands to slam it down onto the ground before he could land creating a surge of energy which shattered all of rocks while also sending Jarvis crashing into the wall knocking him unconscious.

Shortly afterwards the crowd began to applaud for what they witnessed. Among the crowd, Amity herself couldn't believe what she just saw. Wilhelm always appeared calm and very collected, someone who didn't fight as often. But yet once again, the witch was taken by surprise.

" So what was that you were saying about me being just a Beast Keeper? " Wilhelm inquired spooking Amity who fell out of her seat. She looked back down at where he was at and back to where he was now.

" Wh-.h-how? " He merely smirked at her reaction and helped her up back onto her feet and followed him going to where the dragons were being kept. " How did you do that!? "

" That's for me to know and for you to find out. " Wilhelm replied calmly before he yawned stretching out his arms sighing a bit while Amity finally gave up trying to understand how he got from down there to where she was. " Well, aside from just transpired, did you have fun? " The red head asked looking over to her.

" I will admit, I had my doubts at first and yes aside from what just happened. I did. "

Wilhelm hummed at what she said. " Not to try to sound to cocky, but do you think we won the Beast Fair? "

Amity shrugged her shoulders. " I don't know, maybe. "

" Eh, whatever will be, will be. If not then, at least we tried. " Amity smiled at what he said and for some reason she started going into deep thought. For some reason a few were some of the life decisions she made including one part of her life as well when she was younger. The witch didn't know why, but it almost felt like something within her started to regain some light that finally broke through a wall she had for made for herself, one that others forced to her to mentally and emotionally build.

Amity glanced over at Wilhelm for a brief moment and gained an idea.

" Wilhelm?

" Yes? "

" I know this is a bit sudden, but do you want to grab a milkshake? " Hearing this made Wilhelm stop and turn around to face her.

" What's a milkshake? " She did her best try not to laugh and raised an eyebrow. " Your joking right? You don't know what a milkshake is? "

" No. I don't. " The witch facepalmed herself shaking her head but at the same time found this a bit funny.

Night time had now taken Bonesborough and we see Jarvis trudging through an alleyway. The over weighted warlock was using the wall right by him to keep himself up, the duel he had with Wilhelm did much more damage. He'd only just awoken hours ago right outside of the Covention center's dumpster. He was outraged by what had happened and now someone had the nerve to toss him out like he was trash, this sparked a rage in him.

But while he was angered there was something else to, something that's been on his mind. When he first saw him, he just shrugged it off. But after seeing him up close in person and fought against him their was no doubt in his mind. He knew something about Wilhelm.

Speaking of the said red head, he was sitting on table with Amity at the very place where they were going to get milkshakes. He narrowed his eyes at the young warlock chuckling with a grin. " I thought so...Jokes on you little bastard...I know who really are...And I bet the Emperor Coven will pay quite a hefty amount of Snail to know w- " All the sudden he started feeling light headed and drowsy. Before long he was now fast asleep snoring away.

" Unfortunately that won't be necessary. " A voice said said from the shadows and started to walk away only to stop and turn. The being's face turned out to be none other then the head of the Emperor's Coven herself. Lilith glanced over to Wilhelm watching as he was clenching the sides of his head showing he was having a brain freeze while Amity was now laughing much to his displeasure since it was technically his first time.

With a sad sigh Lilith went back into the shadows from where she was hiding a look of guilt very much seen on her face. " Wilhelm... "

To be continued

Well, how'd you all like this one? Good, bad or meh. Either way up to you all on your opinion on this chapter.

But, I will say that while this was a bit of a pain to work on just like when Wilhelm first made his debut, but I believe the end results were worth it. Also on my Deviant Art page ChanceGreenKing17 I actually have some drawings of Cole, Tide and Bomper and Wilhelm himself including Nara were drawn by Legomanny/Robotkid2001. He's also the same one who drew out Evan and made the art cover for this story to.

(Shout out by the way my man you are awesome and thank you a bunch.)

Okay, I know a lot of you have been bugging about Adventures in the Element's right? For a while now, and many of you been looking forward to it, however, I got something else in mind.

So that means yeah, another Oc chapter, but while I won't go so much into details, I will say this though, the chapter itself will be dark. The kind that makes you go holy ****, are you serious?

Hm, next up I'll be discussing what will be updated and I will try. At least two updates for Kipo, another for Sixth Titan Omni and honestly maybe even try my Star vs The Forces of Evil story. But it all depends on what the heck happens, if I have to deal with it, I have to deal with it or I just need a break to help me refuel my brain.

Anyway's while were talking, here's a bit of info on one of the possible story's that could be made after my Kipo story is done.

First were starting off with Kill La Kill crossover with another Oc Ultra by the name of Ultraman Aroul.

His name is a mixture of Arsenal & Soul take out the first two letters of the first word and the three letters of the second word, that make up 'Ar-oul'. That's how you'd pronounce it.

Anyways like all ultras he's unique in his own way. That being two reasons. 1. He's Ultraman Jacks nephew. 2. He specializes with weapons that hold the power of his predecessors through the use of Ultra Discs.

The story focuses on our main character Tatsuo Negau, a distinct relative to the Mankanshoku's, which makes him Mako's cousin.

Now two of them are nothing alike, Aroul enjoys fighting almost a bit to much while Tatsu is a bit well pretty much of a geek. So basically the host is the brain and the ultra is the brawn scenario

As for the idea there's been a problem with the flow of time itself, Rifts are starting to open all across the universe releasing kaiju from different time lines of the Ultra series itself and at the rate things are going everything will be in ruins unless Aroul can put a stop to it.

Well glad that you enjoyed it and don't let that fact hold you down, you'll get the hang of it.

Patricia Louise A. Pena

1. Eh, let's just say something will happen, at one episode in particular where you didn't think nothing would happen. 2. Saul will be appearing soon, that much I can say.

Many Faced Mage

Oh you can bet he'll be pissed off.

Devin Sands

Happy to see you enjoyed it and hope you enjoyed reading this chapter.

gabeherndon308

Hmhm. And soon it'll reach another height,

avengersendgame426

Most of what you say if half right, but trust me, more facts will be showed later on as it get's to 'that' part. Also sorry if it wasn't adventures in the elements but hope you liked this chapter no less. And honestly I might not even do that chapter, besides I got other idea's I've been interested in doing for a while now.

As for Previews of those stories, we'll see what happens, ultimately it's up to all of you if you want to see them or not.

Crow38

Oh yes, he does.

CLo-Zone18

Glad to see you enjoyed it to.

Mathew5641

That's okay, at least your being honest and I feel the same way.

silverstudent

Oh yeah, I'm pleased with the results to and the next chapter I have a feeling you'll enjoy it as well.

LoneWolf427

Saul will make his appearance real soon and there will be more flashbacks like before, and trust me it'll be interesting.

dragon rose 11

Yeah, I can't deny that. All that material from two seasons would be a great help.

Cylon One chapter 5

Yep.

Yangukai

Thanks, but you ought to thank Silverstudent he helped me come up with the idea. As for Amphibia we'll see.

Marbled Gold

heheh, yeah. He technically shaved him to, and I got that from Monster's Inc in case you didn't see the reference. As for the stories, would you like to see previews? As for that, heheheh. Yeah that thought has always come into mind, all the characters meeting one another and interacting, tempting but nah.

Javis Spearmanx2

1. Just did. 2. Only time will tell.

hoffajordanj

Yeah I get where your going at with that.

nickseverino8

As tempting as that sounds I'll have to pass.

King of 2211

Maybe so, but it did it's purpose.

djinn

Good.

SonOfTheDragon

Who wouldn't be mad if they found out. I know I would.

WonderDreams

Yeah, that line might be used. But it'd take a while to figure out where to put it.

Mangocat.

You never know...

OMAC001

There might be, you'll just have to be patient.

You will, in due time.

Happy to hear.

Guest #2

I'll try.

Trust me, I'm looking forward to it to. And you will be seeing them interact more next time.

Javin Spearman

They will, I won't say when. But they will.

Booploop

Just did.

AC1252

Personally I got no problem with what happens in the show, but honestly after watching it for as long as I have a few multiple times including rewatch's I can see a lot of pros and cons in the cartoon itself. But that's just my opinion. As for his beef with Lilith, you'll see soon.

All for Anime

That we did and I pleased with the end results of the episode including the last one about humans being on the Isle's oh yeah, defiantly important. But don't you ever think that theoretically spending a certain amount of time on the Isle's itself how exactly would it affect the human body? We'll get into something that asks that question later.

Patricia Louise A. Pena

As of matter of fact within a few chapters later on there will be.
