Capitol born and bred, plucked from obscurity on the fate of an angel's wing, trained in matters of spying and espionage; initiated into the Rebels. The angel in the wings of District 12's shadows during the 74th and 75th Hunger Games to ensure Katniss' survival...and my name...is Madge Undersee.

At home, Katniss had someone waiting for her, always.

They say home is where the heart is what if your heart has been crushed to teeny tiny pieces to a point of which you don't know where home is anymore. How would you like it if you sacrificed everything for a family only for them to end up hating you, detesting you to survive? Willow is a survivor, she had to do what she did during the capitol, things she's proud and not proud of.

"Her entire species must be eliminated...Because of her, they all pose a threat. Because of her, they all think they're invincible." The stories of the 75 survivors of the Hunger Games and how so many of them came to shape the rebellion. Told by those left alive after the fighting ended.

"Finnick and Taiya have kept up with their training more than any other tribute," Haymitch said shaking his head. "They'd both kill and die for each other. I'm serious Katniss, do not cross them. She's actually a very lovely young lady, friends with just about every victor there is, she'll be last on their kill list."

I live in the totalitarian government of Panem where every year the Capitol reaps 24 tributes from the Districts to take to an arena in the wild where they butcher each other until one remains...jokes. That would be too cruel and barbaric. Instead we have a Bachelor & Bachelorette-style tv show in the capitol where 2 couples emerge and the rest are castrated public servants...

In an alternate reality, Katniss & Peeta pacify the districts after their Games, become mentors, and try and help District 12 win & make victors. Two years pass, and at 18 they are forced to get engaged. President Snow orders them to produce children. They must choose, whether to submit to the Capitol or try and flee Panem. **Mature content warning**

Before a bird began singing in district twelve, lightning struck in district four. When the Goddess meets The Capital Heartthrob for the second time in their lives, a spark is lit that they will fan into a blaze. Part of The Mariner series, following the Sea Glass one-shot.

The Rebellion fails. The Victors are all killed. One year passes with no retaliation. And then it begins once again. The 76th Hunger Games and onward. Survival. Death. Blood.

Dusk, a girl from district 12, has just turned twelve years old. That means her name can be drawn for the reaping. The odds are most definitely not in her siblings' favor, though, and she fears that she may lose yet another family member to the cruelty of the Capitol. But then something unexpected happens, and her name is drawn in the reaping. Will Dusk make it out alive?

Each year, 23 children are sent to their deaths, while one will remain traumatised by their experiences.
