Gohan lost his battle against Cell leaving Trunks behind in the middle of a rainstorm. In the afterlife he begs the Supreme Court to let him save Trunks and have another shot but his plea fell on deaf ears or maybe not.

Seven years after the battle against Cell, Gohan has finally gotten the peaceful life he always dreamed of.
