The More Dangerous Retard

A young girl moved too fast, murdering a group of boys as efficiently as she could. Using her fists to smash their skulls and break their necks, and bash them everywhere she can!

'UWAAAA!'

'SHE'S GONE CRAZY!'

'STOP! STOOOOOP!'

How it all began?

In the landlocked continent of Qing, Daxia Country in a little out-of-the-way town called Qiufeng...

There lived a little girl.

A young girl, no more than a teen around thirteen years of age going by her looks. Despite the exquisite features of the face, her beauty's been marred by the disheveled hair and sluggish eye that lacked the light of wisdom and intellect.

As the girl made her way over to the table to carry out her business, several individuals surprised the young lady by suddenly scurrying out from underneath.

'Excellent, capture this thief,' the menacing looking servants grabbed her by the arms and legs, pressing the girl down against the ground.

'A-ahhhh!' frightened, the girl attempts to wrestle herself free from those unwelcome hands, sadly, a frail lass like her had no means of overcoming the combined efforts of the servants here. Each of these people are practitioners of martial art and have trained their body to the first level of the constitutional domain. The entry stage of any martialist.

'Ye Lingyue, so it was you! You retarded girl, who gave you the courage to come steal the offerings from the ancestral hall?' The servant interrogating her was named Wang Gui, a trusted aide of the sixth young master of the Ye family, Ye Qing.

As to the one being pressed against the floor, her name was Ye Lingyue, the younger cousin of Ye Qing. Though her status inside the family was that of a lady – mistress of these servants – she lacked the proper respect and care she rightfully deserved from someone of her lineage. In fact, her position was even lower than the common servants in the house, all because her mentality had been damaged as a baby.

'Not...steal...cleaning,' panic filled the poor girl's pale face.

'You still dare to quibble.' Not giving the girl a chance to defend herself, Wang Gui sent several slaps across her face to shut the girl up.

Wang Gui was a practitioner of martial art, so with just a few slaps, the mentally challenged girl's face had become swollen and bruised by the impact. Satisfied, he followed up with a heavy stomp across the chest and sent Lingyue flying out like a kite having its string cut in a windy day.

As she crashed directly into the firmly placed cauldron in the middle of the ancestral hall, Lingyue lets out a string of muffled noises as she went limp next to the thing.

'The dumb girl's not moving at all. Don't tell me she's dead?' Seeing that the young lady remains stiffly still on the ground, the servants responsible for the deed started to get worry that they might've overdone it.

'How can she die that easily? This retarded girl's been beaten like this for over ten years and she's still alive and kicking. The young master already said so, this is the so called 'a cheap person's life is always harder to kill'.' Wang Gui's thought pattern was just as vicious when his sweeping eyes fell upon the incense cauldron beside the unmoving body.

Ever since this ancestral hall was bought by the house master over thirty years ago, this incense cauldron had been preserved in here without changing its location.

Walking up to it, Wang Gui pushes aside the cauldron lid and grabs a hefty handful of the incense ash.

'You lot, pry open the dumb girl's mouth. If she likes to steal food so much then I'll let her eat until she's full today.'

The servants giggled at the order. In their eyes, even a stray dog was better than the girl.

While holding down Lingyue's hands and feet, they stuffed the incense ash into her mouth – who knows how long the ashes have been sitting there without being cleaned.

The moment the stale ash was stuffed into her mouth, a round object also slid into her throat in the process. Once inside her stomach, a blazing sensation overtook her 'dantian' located into the abdomen area. Very soon, even her bones and heart started to feel like they were being scorched by the very pain gripping her mind and soul.

It's painful! So painful. She grabs onto her throat as if there's something trying to force its way out.

By the time when blood began seeping out of the claw marks on her neck due to the excessive scratching, the heat continues to encroach upon her soul. Unable to bare the pain any longer, she ran head first and directly rammed against the closest object she can find – the incense cauldron. Fresh blood flowed from her forehead as a result.

'Oh crap, the retarded girl's really dead!' Wang Gui stepped forward and checked, finding no movement whatsoever from the body.

Looking at each other in dismay, the servants now knew what fear felt like. The retarded girl's position in the family may be low and petty, plus she wasn't given any value of importance, but she's still an authentic young lady of the Ye family regardless of how the other family members frowned upon her.

'What are you lot still standing there in a daze for? Hurry and go find the young master.' Panic-stricken, Wang Gui fled with the rest of his goons in haste.

In the ancestral hall, Ye Lingyue's small little body had curled up into a fetal position like how a baby would inside a mother's womb.

'Mother,' she calls out helplessly to get no reply from her plea.

Gradually, the scorching heat eventually subsides to leave her internal organs a twisted mess. Even so, she's alive and that's all that matters.

Not knowing how much time had passed, an explosive sound blows up in her mind like something had just popped open in her dantian. Precisely at this moment, something else was occurring inside her body. Streak after streak, red flashes of energy were spreading across her entire body, healing and repairing the damages the mortal body had acquired in this day.

Her fingers twitched. Opening those eyes, the scenery around the girl becomes clear and the sluggishness that once gripped those pupils had evaporated. In its place, a brilliance as bright as the scattered stars had taken hold.

What came into her view next was a rustically quaint, yet grandiose room with a rectangular table filled with offerings to the memorial tablets of the ancestors.

However, something else happened.

This original girl was indeed, truly dead, before the healing occurred. That it was effectively healing a corpse...and then a white spiritual smoke went inside the body of the abused child who found herself in unfamiliar territory. That white smoke came as the original girl died. Unaware that this girl, was just as special...that the healing was meant for the retard, not for this new presence.

Memories of two girls flashed in her eyes.

The older girl, Stella Loussier is a well-trained soldier who endured countless medical treatments that she wakes up knowledgeable in many things and underwent extremely harsh combat training, stealth and infiltration training and survival training in Lodonia Laboratory. She was with two friends whom she knows well. Sting and Auel. Trained soldier she may be, but she only has memories of her life on Girty Lue, Neo's ship. Stella felt she hasn't done anything at all other than live on the ship and going to places...unaware that each mission, her mind was wiped clean when she sleeps, while retaining her 'pure mind' that was willing to obey her superiors. Neo and the boys treat her well that she was protective of them.

However, as she dies...she remembers everything as she loses a lot of blood.

Shinn.

Her missions.

Things she was made to forget. She was even made to forget her time on ZAFT Ship, she was treated well by the people she was told to kill.

Shinn's promise and even her own friends.

All just to keep being a soldier.

No distractions allowed.

How did they do this to her memories?

Or is this what they call 'life flashing before your eyes'?

But Shinn was there at her last moments and he cried for her. That's enough for her. He cried for a sad girl like her who had nothing.

And now, another set of memories came which was why she's in unfamiliar territory.

And then her first memory was that of her damaged intellect, and endured much hardship when her mother wasn't around and an old woman, Nanny Liu unable to protect her. And this body's last memory, was a beating and bullying by boys, after this person was accused of stealing food from this room!

'Mother...I have a mother now like Auel does.' she mumbled. 'Is she...nice?' her new body was useless in the mind department. It can't even remember its own memories for her to use.

She knows nothing about this world at all.

And this body is hungry.

The food on display isn't bad at all! She stood up to eat, eating the smaller ones first.

Yummy!

Stella has never seen food like this, so easy to eat too, no need for spoons and forks! Just pick it up and gobble it with her hands!

As she ate, she didn't notice that her blood on the cauldron began to bubble and absorbed into the cauldron.

That old cauldron, which originally needed no less than two to three strong men to lift, transformed into a string of black light and entered into her right hand, disappearing from existence as a result. She didn't notice in the candlelit room that had poor visibility.

Soon, the bad boys were back.

'What, this stupid bitch isn't dead at all! She's eating food even!' a derisive snark spoke as the door opened.

'You fucking bitch! You dare try to get me in trouble by playing dead?!' Wang Gui furiously stormed over to grab the eating girl who swiftly delivered a roundhouse kick so hard it was sufficient to collapse his ribcage, killing Wang Gui instantly, shocking the boys.

'W-wha...?'

The boys who bullied Ye Lingyue, her new body watched, stunned.

"Kill!" Stella, with all her training, as she remembered how these boys enjoyed torturing and humiliating this girl who could not fight back, registered them as enemy in her mind.

They screamed in fear but she showed no mercy.

Why should she? They showed her body NONE!

She left her cousin for last.

'Stop! Stop! I won't bully you anymore!' he blubbered in fear as the girl he bullied is now a monster in his eyes. She had yanked his arm back when he tried to escape her using his servants as a cover but she was quick to catch up to him and brutally yanked him back, dislocating his arm beyond medical repair and threw him on the ground brutally hard. He knew martial arts yet her skills is more superior than his. He also didn't get the chance to charge up martial skills as she didn't give him a chance to. Like a berserker, she attacked him giving him no chance to fight back.

He bragged that he's a 4th level cultivator yet this powerless girl easily broke him apart! How?! Was that stupid whore teaching her in secret?!

Yes, he doesn't respect his Aunt Huangyu as his father had nothing good to say about her and her daughter, he has to count on how stupid she is so he can tell his father and then grandpa can get rid of them both! Healing his injuries will be expensive, dammit!

But Lingyue has no mercy on her cold eyes.

'...liar...who trusts people like that?' Stella asked coldly, as she stomped on his head with enough force to crush it with the ball of her heel, but not enough to leave a mess nor her foot size.

Rule 1: do not leave evidence on yourself, such as blood-stained clothes and marks on the bodies of her victims.

She was trained to kill in ways that will not leave a bloodstain on herself and nothing to implicate her. Considering she was bullied earlier, she looked for her own hair as a precaution.

She's still hungry!

'...I can't clean now though...ah well.' Stella sighed. She decided to take advantage of how she was known as, as she went home.

Home.

Her home in this world, is in the northern courtyard of the estate she lived in.

It consisted of the ancestral hall and a back courtyard. This made up her entire residential area.

Ye Lingyue and her mother, as well as an old granny who has been serving them for a long time, lived together in this place.

As she continued on her path, several short buildings soon appeared in sight from the direction up ahead. Looking at the appearances of these structures, they are nothing more than storage sheds converted into living quarters.

Coming up to a certain building that was no more than a simple cabin, some chickens and a vegetable garden were all that welcomed her. Aside from these, there were nothing else. This rundown shack made up her living quarter, her home.

'Little Young Miss, you're back.' An old woman with a face full of wrinkles came out to greet her from within the small cabin after hearing her return. The old granny coughed incessantly, but after seeing the girl's return, the sickly appearance became overshadowed by her warming smile.

This old woman was her mother's loyal servant, Nanny Liu.

For all these years, it was always Nanny Liu whom took care of this daughter and mother pair in their times of need.

Because she was sick lately, Lingyue had offered to clean the hall today...but!

Lingyue told Nanny Liu the lie she made.

'Young Master Ye Qing and some boys are sleeping by the Ancestral Hall?' Nanny Liu asked 'Ye Lingyue' who nodded slowly.

'Sleeping...in the way...don't wanna. They...mean.'

'I'll tell 4th master.' Nanny Liu patted Lingyue's head, understanding the girl's limited vocabulary. Despite her state, Lingyue will remember what she was always exposed to. Sadly, bullying among them. 'I'll have someone else clean the Ancestral Hall today.'

'K...' and Nanny Liu left her at home.

Stella will never be a suspect now.

As much as she pains to be a known retard, it's to her advantage now.

Who'd suspect her?

xxx

Ye Huancheng listened to Nanny Liu, the servant of that wretched damaged goods he had to call a sister. She looked quite ill.

'Ye Qing and his servants napped in the Ancestral Hall?'

'Yes. Young miss who offered to clean for me today said she saw the boys sleeping there and didn't want to wake them. Its quite dirty there but we have no power to move them.' said Nanny Liu, coughing. 'Why would young master and the boys nap there?'

Nanny Liu is ill and Ye Lingyue, the youngest miss of the house doesn't know martial arts, nevermind have cultivation. She was impossible to train, nevermind educate because of a head injury as a baby that made her a retard even slaves have higher status than she and they enjoyed lording that over her, according to his son. A worthless piece of trash isn't even worth feeding so Huangyu only has 10 silver as allowance in hopes the kid would die young from starvation. Even Nanny Liu who at least, has 2nd level of Constitutional Training as granted to servants, was more useful even if she has no power over Ye Qing who's a 4th level.

'Sigh, I'll get the boys out and make that girl do her job.' said Ye Huangcheng gruffly, leaving the sickly nanny behind...unaware of the horror he would find.

Sure enough, the distraught man howled as he reported to his father in anguish, that his son, along with the young servants were killed and dumped in the Ancestral Hall, and much of the food in there left as offerings every last day of the month stolen.

Lingyue was never a suspect as is Nanny Liu. Ye Huangyu who was up in the mountains smelting also has an alibi.

The Ye Family has no clue who murdered the young master of the fourth house and his manservants. The bodies were found to have looks of fear and terror, as well as pain etched on their faces.

Investigation went nowhere after a month, and the boys were buried, with Ye Qing's memorial tablet joining the ancestral hall now.

Never, mess with retards.

Particularly retards who are very, very good in killing.

While investigation was ongoing, Stella had time to get used to referring to herself as Lingyue, and cleaning the house until Nanny Liu is well again. And at night, she reads the books at home to get some knowhow on her new...life. Such as Records of Daxia and Introductions to Martial Arts...

She was currently living inside a kingdom called Daxia. In this place, there are many different administrative areas along with a complicated topography. As to the current location where the Ye family resides in, its a small settlement called Qiufeng Town located in the northernmost region of Daxia. Due to this area being mountainous with many valleys, a wide variety of wild and ferocious animals had taken up hold in this region to call as home. This made it very dangerous to venture out alone due to how territorial these animals are.

In Daxia, regardless of you being an ordinary citizen or a member of a noble house, eight to nine out of ten people would voluntarily learn martial art out of necessity. According to the different cultivation levels of a martialist, there are nine ranks within the first constitutional domain, followed by the lower celestial and upper celestial realm after that.

The difference between a normal person and a martialist lies in the dantian of the person's body – they can condense their inner force together. This so called inner force was actually their Yuan energy.

Yuan energy? Stella prefers to call it Yang instead.

However, she could clearly feel the faintly weak flow of power slowly moving about in her dantian at the moment. It was when that bastard Wang Gui fed ashes to the former Lingyue. What ashes are those? But jerk unwittingly gave her power now.

By having energy in her dantian as she feels now, she's now on the entry level, an apprentice, not even a 1st layer.

And martial arts to get stronger, costs money. Money she doesn't have right now.

And because her mother hardly has money and hardly home at work, she would go out at night, and steal fruit from storehouses. Basic knowledge being sick people should eat sour fruit for Vitamin C and soft food? She would get a ton of sour fruits and buy steamed bread during the morning, a copper for one. And as a known retard, Stella had to play her role thus could not fully execute her whole knowledge. In survival training, she was taught how to hunt, how to forage, edible and not, source of water, medicine, crafting shelter and tools, and cooking meals that are cooked in less than an hour to keep a soldier going.

Because she had such a bad reputation, she goes by the name Xing'er.

Basically, Stella in chinese.

Stella felt herself clever thinking of that and she was proud of it!

And while the mourning was going on, Stella asked Nanny Liu for money for steamed buns.

'Little Young Miss, we don't have any more money. Housekeeper Wang and his son embezzled more of our allowances this month,' the old woman sighed with helplessness in her voice and wrinkled her already wrinkled forehead.

Housekeeper Wang was Wang Gui's father and the person in charge of managing the north manor's affair inside the family. Due to not being favored inside the Ye household, this pair of mother and daughter had faced no shortages of bullying from the man. Their monthly allowance was already so meager as it is!

Nanny Liu taught her the value of money.

1 gold = 10 silver and 1 silver = 1000 copper and what you can buy with it. 10 silver is the lowest salary a person can ever legally have in Daxia, any less will get you in front of the law...if found out, that is.

But with their situation at home, That no-good father and son can get away with it! They have to wait for her mother to come back home.

So as revenge while the man was distracted from mourning his son, Stella pored into the accounting books and in the span of years she was alive, Housekeeper Wang gave pittances to her mother. So she stole a lot of money. Enough silver to get all that back plus some extra! Enjoy explaining the money loss away you stinkin' old man!

Nanny Liu was shocked with what she's done, it was lucky Housekeeper Wang wasn't around or her young miss will be seeking death, even if Nanny Liu agreed she was well within her rights to get back what the no-good pair bullied them out of, and more!

Well, they won't get hungry for a while...
