Chapter 593.
"Explore and Fun."
(Castaway Island.)
The sun has shone onto the beach house located at the beach on Castaway Island, located in the middle of Lake Eddy, and is populated by different forms of wildlife, and for the remainder of the week a few human residents, and those residents are from last time they visited there and some new ones.
Lincoln looks out the window and looks to the beautiful waters of the lake and he takes a nice breath of air. "Love that lake water smell, sure does make things comfortable to see."
"Dang right." Jordan stands next to him and she holds his hand, both are dressed for the day on the island. "This is a nice view, and I think we should let the others see how it's going." She then shows her phone.
Lincoln knows what she means and he smiles from this. "Alright, then." The duo then look to the phone as the lake is behind them and then take a selfie, and they don't even notice the lake monster photo bombing them. The duo notice this and chuckle.
They then look to the water and see Plessy emerge and then dive into the waters. "He sure likes to be a photo bomber at times, huh?" said Lincoln.
"No kidding" said Jordan. "Also, we got the whole day planned right?"
Lincoln nods. "Michelle, Luna and Sam are gonna be enjoying some beach time, Gretchen and Ryan are gonna be enjoying some nice beach stroll together, and the rest of us got the rest of the island to explore. We're also gonna have some aerial eyes to watch over us."
"Yeah, but which ones are gonna join us?" asked Jordan.
Lincoln then thinks about this, and then they spot Harrier, Valkyrie, Bullet, Swellow, Apollo, Artemis, Raptor and Freya going around the lake and hunting for fish and then Lincoln has an idea on which eagle eyes can watch over them, or one eagle and one Pokémon of the skies.
Then Luna comes from behind them and hugs them both. "Happy Day 2 on being here on the island, dudes. Also, breakfast is ready, we should eat now. We got one heck of a day ahead of us."
"Heck yeah we do" replied Lincoln and Jordan, they then walk back into the house to head to the dining room and enjoy the food that was done and made.
Jordan then sends what she took with Lincoln, and she makes sure that the Louds along with her parents got the image. They continue to the dining room and see the others all ready for breakfast, and Adelaide is talking with her mom about how well the zoo is handling without them.
Then Yamper runs around barking and then goes towards Lincoln. "Hey buddy." He pets the head of the electric dog and then goes over and sits between Luna and Jordan. 'Another day, another awesome summer time on the island. This is gonna be great.'
(Moments later.)
The front of the house opens, and coming out are the group ready for the day. Sam, Luna and Michelle are in their beach clothing, while Ryan and Gretchen are wearing some clothing suited for a nice and lovely stroll around the beach throughout the summer.
While Lincoln, Jordan, Sid, Adelaide and Becca have explorer clothing on, and also suited for summer vacation. "Thank you, Leni for this style" said Lincoln. "So, we all know what we're doing, right?"
They all nod. "Gretchen and I are gonna have a nice and peaceful stroll." Ryan holds Gretchen's hand, and they intertwine their fingers, and then Yamper runs around them and this makes them laugh. "And of course, we got Yamper tagging along, so that's a thing right?"
Michelle then puts on her shades. "I'll be catching some sunny days, and relaxing onto the beach"
Luna and Sam also put on some shades. "Same with us dudes" said Sam. "Luna and I, spending some beach time too. Perhaps some volley ball as well."
Luna goes towards Lincoln. "You dudes gonna be okay with just two avians catching up?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod. "though we do have just Bullets and his mate Swellow coming along with us, they're the best bet we got in keeping a close eye for anything wandering around the jungles, plus Bullets knows this place better than the other eagles" replied Lincoln.
"Swellow is also great at these kinds of environments, it might not be the common forests at Tall Timbers Park, but it's still a forested area" said Jordan. "Plus, they're capable of low flying through the vegetation of the lands. We got this, and we have an animal and exploring export with us."
They all look towards Becca who nods. "You have my word, I got this covered. Plus, I wanna see how the black rhino population is handling, to see if this island is the best way to continue the population of the race, and also help them return to the mainland when the whole species is large enough."
Sid then mentions. "Also, this island would be the best place for other endangered animals to try and rebuild their species! So, let's get going!"
They all smirk and Luna hugs Lincoln and Jordan. "Keep safe guys." she then sees Bullets land onto her shoulder and she scratches his chin. "Keep an eye on them, buddy." Then Swellow lands onto the other shoulder. "Same with you, girl."
The two avians take off and then they all make their separate ways. Luna and Sam follow Michelle onto the beach in front of the house, while Ryan and Gretchen walk around the beach together and talk, and they don't notice Plessy swimming near the shallows and following them.
Lincoln along with the others head into the jungle and begin they're exploring.
Luna then relaxes onto the beach chair. She then thinks about what could happen. "You think things will be chill with us not with them?"
Sam then places a hand onto her shoulder. "They'll be fine Lunes. They got Becca with them, and we can recall that she's kinda… Wild on the wild side and very responsible, she could handle the wildlife, and Bullets knows what to do to guard them, remember? So, try and have some peace and quiet time here."
Luna nods. "Yeah, yeah your right." They then relax together and they notice Michelle is passed out.
"Wow. That was quick" said Luna and Sam.
(Within the jungle.)
The jungle is teeming with life, and lots of fruit is bearing on the trees and this makes Adelaide grab some of them and she looks to the mango. "Now this stuff looks fresh and ripe. Can we take some home? The Casagrandes would appreciate the fresh fruit."
Becca smirks. "Well, the one thing we need to know about the fruit is what might be inside of it. With an ecosystem like this, there has to be something else more than the large animal wildlife thriving around. So, be on the lookout for any local parasites."
They continue onward through the journey through the jungle, and then Sid spots something. "Whoa! An Anteater, and a Pangolin, now that is rare and awesome!" She takes a picture of the two animals and they continue their trip around the jungle.
Becca is surprised by the other animals around them. She spots some small spiders walking around, such as tarantulas, and some wandering wolf spiders. "Careful everyone, now I know you all faced some large poisonous spider here, but we might not know what else is out here."
"That one is new" said Jordan. They all go over and see what she sees, and what they see are some Fruit bats. "We didn't see these guys before, they look like they're from another part of the jungle." she takes a pic of these creatures and then they fly off.
Lincoln then realizes. "Maybe we shouldn't intervene with these fruits, they look like it's under their territory." They all continue onward through the jungles, and then Becca sees some monkeys leaping from the trees and headed someplace else.
"Dang, monkeys, and they look like some local red colored types from the Amazon rainforest." Becca takes a pic of them.
But the monkeys are something Lincoln and Jordan know. "You gotta be kidding me?" said Lincoln. "Those are the same monkeys who were harassing Michelle last time we were here."
Bullets then grabs one of the monkeys and the ape recognizes the Stellar's Sea Eagle and panics and so the eagle spins the monkey around and tosses the simian far into the jungle, and the rest of the monkeys' scatter and seek shelter elsewhere, but some of them report back to their troop to tell them that the Sea Eagle is back.
Bullets and Swellow then continue to patrol the skies for any signs of trouble and the others are shocked at what he did. "Well, that seemed almost unnecessary, but I guess I can understand why he did that" said Becca. They continue onward, and spot the open plains of the island.
"Wow! Look!" Sid spots the Black Rhinos and all of them are grazing and are being their usual peaceful selves. "They're here, and they're thriving!"
They walk around the grassy plains, and the large horned beasts may seem dangerous, but they're not doing anything to harm them. They even spot some young Rhinos playing amongst themselves and the grownups grazing along the grass.
"These rhinos, they're doing well and populating as normal" said Becca. "This is unbelievable!"
Sid then goes over and takes a selfie with one of the rhinos, she then checks the picture and sees the large beast grinning, and then she looks back to the rhino who is back to eating and she smirks. "You big selfie softie." She then hugs the head, and it just continues to eat some grass.
Then Lincoln spots some rhinos grinding their horns onto the nearby trees, and some of them showing signs of dominance onto each other. "They sure feel at home here, and I think what Sid said was right. They can continue to regrow their population, and perhaps for other…."
Lincoln could swear he saw something, odd and almost canine-like, and yet something that was meant to be extinct. "What the heck was that?"
"Hey, Lincoln!" The boy turns around and he sees Jordan, Becca, Adelaide and Sid riding on the back of the large Black Rhino of the group. "This guy is super friendly. I guess with little human contact, they don't mind folks coming to the island" said Jordan.
"I am so going to do a count on how many are living here" said Becca as she has binoculars. "They also have some tick birds with them."
Adelaide then enjoys the ride. "This is as good as any ride from every animal we've come to know from the zoo. A shame we can't bring one of them with us, but they're home is here."
"This is the best second day on the island vacation!" said Sid as she then takes some pics of some cranes flying by. "There is so much more to see on this island, and I can't wait for more!"
Jordan then offers Lincoln her hand and he takes it and now he's riding with them on the back of the black rhino and it makes its way through the grassy plains. "Now this is an awesome exploration. We still got a lot of forest to cover, but we got all day for that one."
The others cheer. "Heck yeah!" They continue onward, riding on the back of the black rhino and back into the jungle.
(Back at the beach.)
Michelle is still fast asleep, and Ryan and Gretchen are still taking a nice stroll. Luna and Sam are both enjoying the view of the beach and then Luna gets a message and she sees what it is and she smiles. Sam goes over and checks it out.
The message is from Lincoln, and it's a photo of himself with the others on the back of a black rhino and enjoying the ride. Luna smirks. "Looks like they are okay there. Now I can rest easy and relax." She puts her arm around Sam and Sam leans onto her.
They continue this peaceful session together, and with Michelle fast asleep. But they don't notice the monkeys scrambling back into the jungle to tell their leader what they have found, and also evading the bald eagles flying around.
Day 2 of the one week stay on Castaway Island, in the middle of Lake Eddy.

A/N: Second day on the Island and they've got to see an endangered/extinct species thrive and possibly continue onward to the future, and living on the island, and will those monkeys be the trouble? Not sure, so check out next chapter. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
