Chapter 604.
"Fighting Raccoons."

(June 25, Ketcham Park.)

The park is the best place for some of the folks in town to have some fun as the summer goes by. Among them are Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato, and they're taking care of little baby Lucas, whose mother, Jillian has to deal with her job.

The group are on a picnic blanket and they finished eating lunch. The infant continues to play with his plush panda and then he looks to Jordan and hands her the plush, and so she takes the panda and makes the little toy dance, and this makes Lucas giggle and laugh.

Jordan then looks towards Lincoln. "So, want did Lunes say about the whole idea of all of us going to the water park?"

Lincoln smiles. "Well, she said we'd have to speak with Katie Crest, and Mick Swagger, and his manager. Chances they'll be chill with it, but Crest is a whole different story, and we're gonna speak with her when tomorrow comes."

"Awesome." Jordan then boops Lucas' nose and he giggles and she hands him back the panda plush. "Sure is nice to spend some time with this little bundle of happy joy, and he's always this happy when we're around."

Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah." He then pulls Lucas close to him, and tickles his tummy, and this makes the infant giggle. "By the way, when is his birthday?"

Jordan recalls when it is. "Somewhere at July, early July. I think the second of July was when he was born, which means next week this little buddy is gonna be a year old." Jordan places a small kiss on his cheek and this makes him giggle.

Lincoln smiles. "Gonna be an awesome time for him when we celebrate his birthday with the others, chances the rest of the family will try to make the event something he'll never ever forget." He then pets the head of Growlithe who yawns and naps next to them.

As they continue to play, around the park are Luna and Sam talking by the bench about the upcoming meeting with Katie Crest, and then we have Leni, along with her friends Jackie and Mandee talking about college by the fountain.

We see Lana and Lola, with Michelle and her Black Panther Bernardo by the lake, and also with them are Simon and Stella, and she has her two pet rabbits, Jazzy and Snazzy. The eagles are busy at the Rosato Eagle sanctuary and tending to Nora and her eggs.

Yamper and Rockruff are running around and playing with Gretchen and Hope, while Angel Carson and Mark Warren are both roller skating around the park, and then they leave the park and pass by Liam and Tabby who high five them on the way.

But they all don't know, that some raccoons have moved into town, and they're hiding within the park and evading some of the Pokémon wandering around, but then they see the trash cans and decide to scavenge there. But one of the raccoons signals the others and they see the picnic setup and the kids there.

They wanna take the delicious food they have, and so they whisper to each other and nod. Then they break away from the bushes and rush towards the group and this catches Lincoln and Jordan's attention. "Whoa what?!"

The Raccoons roam around the setup and try to take what they want, but this alarms Growlithe and he begins to bark at them and use tackle and agility to knock them away.

Jordan grabs Lucas and tries to get him away from this, but then one of the raccoons takes the panda plush. "No!" She tries to get the plush back, and so does Lincoln. But the raccoons all scatter and make a run for it.

This gets the attention from everyone and they watch the two kids and the crying infant go after the raccoon. They all don't know what that's about, but then they spot the raccoon carrying the plush panda, and now they're all going after those scoundrels.

Bernardo picks up some speed and goes after them, along with Growlithe, Yamper and Rockruff. Luna, Sam, Leni, Jackie, Mandee, Liam, Tabby, Lola, Lana, Michelle, Stella and Simon also go after them, and though they are troublesome, Jazzy and Snazzy also go after them, but they take a rabbit hole.

They enter the forested area of the park and look around, Lucas cries as he wants his panda back. Jordan does what she can to comfort him. "It'll be okay, Lucas. We'll get you're toy back, we promise."

Bernardo goes to the top of a tree branch and looks around. "Anything?" asked Michelle. The panther then looks around closely, and so do the others as they search. Then they hear some barking.

Gretchen knows those barks. "Yamper, Rockruff and Growlithe found something!" They all go to where the barking is coming from, and they spot the raccoons all sniffing the panda plush.

"Hey! Give that back!" yelled Lincoln.

The raccoons see the large group of humans and they all scatter, but one tries to run off with the plush, but then Jordan grabs the plush. "Give it back!" the raccoon tries to pull, but he let's go and it slips off of Jordan's hands and it lands in the arms of Lucas. Michelle is holding him.

Then another raccoon goes for the plush. But the baby holds on tight and is angry at the raccoon and even throws his own shoe to the face of the animal, but then the plush rips in two and this makes Lucas cry at his broken toy.

Then Bernardo grabs the raccoon by the neck and then bites hard, then the other raccoons come back and attack the Black Panther, but all of them are hit by the ember attack from Growlithe. The raccoons try to fight again, but Growlithe begins to bark and attack them with everything he's got.

Sure he has some scratches and bruises, but he's not giving up. Jordan picks up the torn half of the plush and she takes the other half from Lucas, he lets it go and continues to sob in the arms of Michelle.

They all watch as Growlithe goes toe-to-toe and fights off the assailants and then he uses something he has never used before, Fire Fang!

Growlithe leaps into the air and then bites onto one of the raccoons and it becomes on fire and runs for it, then Growlithe tackles the larger raccoon and then uses fire fang onto it, and then throws him away, but the raccoons stand tall and hiss at the puppy Pokémon.

Growlithe does one last bark, alongside the Yamper and Rockruff, but then they see Growlithe glowing. "No freakin' way!" said Luna. Sam then records this and this makes Lucas look in awe.

The light fades and the raccoons look up to the…. Large dog.

Arcanine.
The Legendary Pokémon.
Fire-Type.
This large canine-Pokémon is rare and not actually legendary for some reason because there are many of them around the Pokémon world, but it runs over 6,200 miles in a single day, and has captivated so many people, and has been around many ancient folklore from the eastern lands.

When this large dog runs, it's almost like it's running on wings. The fire burning through this Pokémon is the source of its strength, and they have been known to lead the charge when war dawns upon the horizon. It is also said that its bark is like a majesty, and you feel like groveling before it.

The sight of this large dog is now scaring the raccoons and the large one… Makes a run for it! The others follow after when they hear Arcanine, bark! The others go over and are impressed, but the dog heads towards Lucas and licks his face, and this comforts the infant.

Leni then looks to the broken plush panda, Jordan speaks with Lincoln about this and then Leni has an idea and she looks to her friends, Jackie and Mandee. "Girls, wanna help out?" the two girls nod.

While they're dealing with Lucas, the raccoons all run off to leave the park, but they run into something with steel fur, and then they see the very ticked off, Perrserker and it shows his claws and grins with fire in his eyes. They're doomed.

Then they hear growling behind them and spot the Black Panther has caught up and he licks his teeth, and now they're dead.

(The Loud House.)

In the living room is where they're waiting, and Lynn Sr is looking to the large dog on the ground and being hugged by the infant Lucas, and Lily is joining in on this. "So, he turned into this big dog?"

Lisa looks closely. "Yes, and all he had to do was fend off some large raccoon and reclaim what was belonging to Lucas, this seems natural for a Pokémon such as Growlithe, and now he is Arcanine."

Lincoln and Jordan rub the mane of this large dog Pokémon, and Lola and Lana are also interested in this big guy. The pets are shocked, and same with Charles. 'Dang, there goes our fetching play time, at least he could grab the ball when it gets stuck on the roof.'

Then they see Leni come down the stairs, and with her are Jackie and Mandee, and they're wearing medical masks and have some white string and stuffing on their bodies. "There, good as new." Leni shows them the plush panda.

Lucas smiles and then he gets up and slowly waddles towards the panda.

Leni kneels down and shows him the panda plush. "Here you go, Lucas. He's all fixed now."

The infant grabs the panda plush and he hugs it, and then he places a kiss on it and hugs it some more, and this makes them all awe at the cute sight.

"Totes gonna take a pic of this and then post it!" said Jackie as she and Mandee grab their phones and take a picture of little baby Lucas and his panda plush.

Lincoln and Jordan smile at this and they take some pics as well. Then Jordan sees a text from Jillian Henvers. "Looks like his mom is coming here to pick him up." They then notice Arcanine going over and licking the face of Lucas, and this makes the baby giggle.

"Yeah, we're gonna have to explain to her about this big guy" said Lincoln. They all chuckle at this, this is gonna be something to explain to Jillian Henvers.
