Chapter 612.
"Warren's Water Zone part 2."
(Warren's Water Zone.)
The morning has come, and the main door to the hotel is opened and the folks from Royal Woods come out and see the whole place is looking as it was the other day, and they're all dressed in some clothing for the summer and beach time. "Dang, we're so gonna have some awesome fun here!" said Lynn Jr.
They watch as she races off to where the diving boards are, and then the twins and Lisa along with Michelle Lewis go off to the shallow swimming pool, and Rita goes with them with Lily in her arms. Bernardo follows them and he rests onto a nearby tree and watches over them.
Lucy goes to the same tree and she sits on the same branch as the Black Panther to make a poem, Luan along with Lori, Leni and the other young adults head to the swimming pool for some relaxation. Gretchen, Hope and Ryan also tag along.
"Well, while all of you are having some fun, I think us guys should check out what kind of food they have here" said Lynn Sr. He goes along the place where the bar is and with him are Rick, Wallace, Jacob and Michael.
The others head off to have some fun, and Lincoln and Jordan look up and spot the eagles flying high in the sky. Luna then goes towards them. "So, what are you dudes gonna do?"
"We're gonna head to the aquarium and check out the place" said Lincoln. "Because as promised, I am gonna face my fear, and I know that the sharks we're going to are not the dangerous ones."
"Mark and I are gonna come with them" replied Angel Carson. "Because the one thing I do know, is that Mark knows his way around the Water Park, and I also wanna check out the dolphins."
Luna smiles hearing this. "Alright, alright. But I'm tagging along, just to be safe. Because I ain't gonna let you dudes head in there alone and face something that might be bad."
They all head to where the aquariums are, and it's called: The Warren's Living Waters Zone. They look to the image of the entrance, which is a Lion Fish with the logo. "What the heck is with that logo?" asked Jordan.
"That's my dad's favorite fish" replied Mark. "Now come on, let's get going. This is gonna be awesome."
They follow Mark inside, and they see some other folks also inside and checking out the place. They can see the walls have aquariums and in each one are different fish swimming around, and even some fresh water tanks are located here.
"Wow. This looks like something the Chang's would wanna check out, and possibly add in the zoo" replied Lincoln. He then looks into one fish tank and spots some shrimp swimming around and also with them are different lobsters.
Mark then continues to walk. "Come on guys, there's a whole lot of awesome stuff here, and I don't mean the gift shop." So, they follow Mark down the hall, but what they see amazes them.
The hallway that is 50 feet long, is all glass and they can see the fish swimming around them, and they're all sea creatures. "Holy cow! This is so cool, it's like walking underwater" said Jordan.
"Dudes, this is so sick" said Luna. "Almost beats diving deep into the waters of Lake Eddy." Luna then spots something swimming above them and so she holds her brother close, the boy is confused, but then he sees the shadow loom over them and it's the form of a shark.
Lincoln remains calm and he holds Jordan's hand, and he ignores the large Great White Shark swimming above them, and he keeps himself occupied by focusing on the Sting Ray swimming by, and the King Crab walking over the tunnel.
They soon reach the end of the tunnel and they see something that looks awesome. "Huh, the kids section" said Angel.
They see some kids going around and enjoying the watery life that lurks in the fish tanks, and even the interactive shallows with different small vertebrae lurking within the sands, and there are warnings of not removing them from the water.
"This is where we have Star Fish, and all forms of small and not so dangerous sea creatures, but that thing is in the tank for a dang good reason" said Mark. They spot the Crown of Thorns Star fish inside of its own tank and it looks big. "There is no way that thing is going into the big sea aquarium."
"We also have a coral reserve area, and a whole lot of different species being bred to keep the coral population alive, and we plan to wait for them to grow into maturity so that we can send them back into the open ocean."
"Where the heck do some of these guys come from?" Jordan sees the hermit crabs inside of one large tank, and they watch as they swap shells with each other.
Mark then smiles when he sees the puffer fish inflate. "My dad owns a water park in Australia, and after visiting the place, he thought it'd be awesome and good for everyone to help raise back some water-borne species so they don't go extinct."
They then follow Mark and they spot another hallway with the whole thing as a giant aquarium. "Also, this is the open ocean area." They see so many schools of fish, and some of them being chased by some larger fish, and a diver is swimming by and helps clean the glass.
"Wow. How big is this place?" asked Angel.
Mark looks for an answer, but then he lost it. "Huh, to be honest… I don't even know. This whole land was once a dump, and then cleaned thoroughly and made into what it is now, a clean and family friendly water park."
"Still would be nice to know how big this place is" said Lincoln. He then spots a line of lobsters walking along the sand, and some sea urchins slowly making their way across the glass hallway above them. "This place makes it feel like we're actually walking on the sea floor."
Jordan takes some pictures of this and she even takes a selfie as a dolphin swims by. "I'm gonna send these to the Chang's and the Casagrandes. Chances they'll wanna come here next time."
They make it to another room, and they spot the area has less light, and so they walk around and see the tanks seem dark. "Dude, what the heck is with the blacked out tanks?" asked Luna.
"This." Mark flips the switch and the tanks all glow green, blue or red and they see the deep sea fish are lingering in those tanks and each one looks terrifying and something out of this world.
"Holy smokes that is creepy!" said Angel, she holds Marks' hand and sees the Angler Fish. "I totally forgot that those things are female. Wow that is disturbing."
Luna looks to the Gulper Eel. "Lisa would either be fascinated or scared, or possibly both. The twins would be running, and Lucy would wanna swim with them."
Lincoln and Jordan look to the Dumbo squid. "Some of them seem cute, this guy looks adorable." The watch as the squid closes its eyes using its flaps. They both take a picture of this.
"You think the Chang's Zoo would wanna have these guys?" asked Lincoln.
Mark then turns on the green light inside of another tank and he sees the Viper Fish. "Not possible, they'd need to put so much pressure inside of the fish tank to make it sustainable for the creatures of the deep. These guys wouldn't last inside of a normal fish tank without the pressure or the darkness."
"That's why we use these special lights to see them, but we can't mimic the light of the sun, and then we have to turn them off, and thanks to the glass, these tanks can survive the pressure within, also the water inside of the fish tanks are super cold, and yet some warmth goes inside them."
"Yup, that does sound like the deep ocean" said Jordan. She gets a bit freaked out seeing the Vampire Squid. "Well, where do we go next?"
"Follow me." They all follow Mark, and they walk by another aquarium hallway, and they see something they've never thought they'd see again. The Coelacanth and many of them. "Right, this is where we keep fish and other sea creatures that are old looking."
They even see some Horse Shoe Crabs and other coral that they never seen before. "Dude, this is like something Lisa would wanna see. Dang, they look like dinosaurs in there." Lincoln, Jordan and Angel take some pictures and they are going to show this to their friends.
"We're almost there, folks" said Mark.
They all enter the next large room, and they spot the interactive zone, for sharks. They all look to Lincoln, the boy seems scared of this, but he takes in some courage. "Alright, let's do this thing."
They all go over to the shallow area, and some of the staff keep an eye on them and they go into the shallow water and they see something looming within. Luna holds her brother close, and Jordan goes close as well.
Mark and Angel see this, but Mark is unfazed and he smirks. "Here comes, Tracy."
They then spot what looks like a deadly shark, but it's a Sand Tiger Shark and it swims close to them and Lincoln doesn't feel comfortable, but he takes in some courage and he reaches his hand and closes his eyes. Luna and Jordan are being cautious…. Then the shark lets the hand of Lincoln touch its head.
Lincoln opens his eyes and he sees the shark being still and even though it has a mouth with a scary group of teeth, it's not harmful, and this makes him smile. "Wow. This is… Wow." He then rubs the head and then under the chin of the shark, and this makes the shark linger longer.
Luna and Jordan go closer and also interact with the large shark, and then Angel joins in and they take some pictures with the large shark. Mark smirks seeing this. "This guy is Tracy, and he's from Australia, had him transferred due to too many of his kind back at the Australian water resort."
"Dang, this shark is not harmful to folks, I guess he would rather eat fish" said Jordan.
"This is as cool as dolphins" said Angel. "You know, he does seem cute now that I look closely."
Luna chuckles. "The others are not gonna believe this." They continue to have some fun with this large shark, and soon they spot two more and interact with them.
Lincoln dives his head underwater and he looks to the head of the shark, that doesn't seem threatening, and he holds the head and pets the creature. 'Looks like my fear of sharks, is long gone… I think.'
(Later in the night.)
As the night falls, everyone are seated for dinner, and not just that, they all look in awe as the fireworks show begins, and they see the lights in the sky come in blue, white, red and all sorts of colors.
Lincoln and Jordan sit close to each other and hold hands, they watch as orange and yellow lights light up the sky, and the eagles along with Bernardo sit by the tree and watch this spectacular thing, and it reminds them of home, and Nora and Harrier.
They all continue to watch this go on, and the twins along with Rita and Michelle light up some sparklers with the other kids and they enjoy watching the lights go around.
Jordan then looks to Lincoln. "Glad you're over the fear of Sharks."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, but Great Whites are still the one thing I can't handle. I know other sharks have intentions to attack, but a Great White? Now that is a fear factor I don't think I can get over, sorry."
Luna sits between them and she pulls them close to her. "That's a first start, bro. You might still be afraid of the Great Whites, but at least fear for other sharks is gone. We're proud you took in some courage and went on to be as brave as you can be."
Lincoln smiles. "Thanks sis." With Jordan, they both speak. "Happy Independence Day, Luna."
Luna smirks. "Happy 4th of July, little dudes." they continue to watch the fireworks show off some amazing light's and four fireworks clash in the sky and make the shape of an eagle.
