Chapter 614.
"Warren's Water Zone part 4."
(Warren's Water Zone.)
July 6, and this is the day for the birthday of Lori Loud, and she awakens from her sleep and she looks around the room she shares with Leni, Jessica and Carol. But she doesn't spot Carol, Jessica or Leni anywhere. 'Huh, well this is literally weird. Where the heck are the other girls?'
Then she sees the bathroom door open, and coming out is Carol Pingrey. "Oh, hey. You're awake, Lori." Carol is wearing a towel on her head and body.
"Hey, Carol." Lori gets up and then she grabs her phone. "So, where the heck are Leni and Jessica?"
"No clue, Lori" replied Carol. "I just woke up with this note taped to my forehead, and it told me to get ready for the day, and then wake you up. Chances, they might have something special for the both of us today, because today is your birthday."
"Right, right" said Lori. "Tomorrow is yours right?"
Carol chuckles nervously. "Yeah, about that. I think I got miscalculated on my own birthday, my birthday was the other day. Turns out, I may have been focused on having a fun summer and planning for going back to college classes, that I totally got sideline brained about my own birthday."
Lori is surprised to hear this. "Wow. Just… Literally, wow! What the heck?" She then sees that there are no messages on her phone. "Well, we should get clothed and then we can make our way to the others and then have an awesome birthday party surprise from the others."
"Chances Leni has this whole thing covered" said Carol. She then removes the towel from her hair. "Since she is a good party planner and that she can be able to make anyone's birthday look as extravagant and wicked cool, even if it's not family."
Lori nods, and then she checks her phone for any messages from Bobby. "Leni is good at that, I feel proud she'll be going to college soon and that she'll make her mark in the world. Though, there is one thing that we haven't asked her yet. What kind of course is she taking there?"
Carol also realizes this. "Oh snap. We need to do some research later about the courses that Reiningers Fashion and Education University have, and then we can ask Leni."
"Yeah." Lori then goes to the bathroom to get herself ready for the day, but then some thoughts come into her head. 'There is still one ordeal that we all haven't sorted out yet. When classes do begin, or we're closing in on classes. We need to lock, load and get ready for Leni to move.'
'And that would mean we have to inform Lincoln of this plan of him not being Luna's roommate, and letting Luan and Luna be roommates again. This is gonna be hard, and we already spoke with mom and dad and we can only make this happen unless Lincoln is in an agreement.'
'I don't want him to think we're separating him from Luna, this isn't like the time she was told to go to that concert and become someone else. But…. To Lincoln, this might as well feel like it is. This is literally gonna be super hard to handle.'
(Later.)
Lori and Carol are now going down the elevator and they see the trio water slides and the folks going down and enjoying the large swimming pool with wave systems. "So, when are we all going up there?" asked Carol.
"Chances tomorrow" said Lori. "But that thing is super huge, and from what we spoke about, we're cool with bailing. Do you wanna bail?"
"Heck no!" said Carol. "That thing is awesome, and I wanna see if it beats the water park water slide back in Milwaukee, and yes I went there back then because my dad had a business meeting there and I wanted to tag along."
Lori smirks. "Well, childhood memories are still around." they keep watching as everyone has fun. "Have you thought about what you wanna do for the future? You know, after college?"
Carol sighs. "Well, making up a family would have to wait. I still have that big deal I made with Jordan. Because I still feel bad for making Lincoln upset last time, and it really itched my brain for him to see me like that, and then turn Jordan into an angry machine mode girl."
Lori can tell that it has been eating her for some time, then Carol continues to talk. "So, I don't plan on having a family yet, but I do intend to be there to help them for when they need a career and going to college means they need to pay for their own fees and other stuff, but I don't think that's a problem."
Lori nods. "Not when both Louds and Rosato's are loaded with cash, but Lincoln might just stick with finding himself a part-time job or two to pay for his own and letting the family use the cash for what the need back at the house."
"You know, if Lincoln does go to college, then things might not be the same in the house without him. The sisters would want him to stay, because he's always the one they look up to for help, and I can't blame them. Linc, he's the glue that keeps the peace."
Carol smiles. "Lincoln's a good kid and he's been doing his part to make sure the chaos of the louds doesn't go overboard and stock into trouble, and then things became secure and changed when Jordan Rosato came into view, huh?"
Lori smiles. "Yeah, she can handle the chaos as Lincoln does. A part of me doubted her, but then it all came down to something I figured out…. If I am to marry Bobby in the future, then that would make Lincoln and Ronnie Anne In-Laws, and that would be hard for the duo."
Carol sees where she's going. "Well, dang, that does make sense. At least they're not gonna be a couple, otherwise it'll be hard for them to make friends. Because if he never met Jordan, then the Casagrandes would keep them from making guy and gal friends."
"They wouldn't be able to be themselves, forced to be nice to each other, have them keep listening to their own family on what to do, become truly isolated from everyone around them and that would mean they would lose all their friends. They'd be forced to marry, get depressed and then dark… Lori, are you okay?"
Lori is wide eyed and speechless at the logical words Carol said. "Y-Yeah, I think."
Lori then calms down. "Sorry, I just…. I didn't think about the whole ordeal through. I guess I was too much of the whole bobby thing, to not notice the consequences of what would transpire between Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, I was a total fool, and if there was an original version of me…. I wish she would see the same thing."
Carol places a hand onto her shoulder. "Lori, we all make mistakes, but we can make up for them and find some way to make things right. I recall that you threatened your own little brother with the coffee table, but that was the past and he got over it."
"At least things won't escalate into something further, be grateful for that and be happy that the Casagrandes are now understanding with the whole Jordacoln relationship, and are more into the Sidonnie thing, Ronnie Anne and Sid, they're sweet together. Just like, Luna and Sam.
Lori nods, and then she has some stuff in her head to talk about. 'If I do get the chance to talk to Lincoln and Jordan, I should apologize for doing that to him. I feel like a total idiot for making him go on that god damn date when he already had a crush on someone else.'
'I made mistakes, and it all started when I met, Bobby. I also need to speak with him, and then to the Casagrandes and let them see the whole mistakes of the past that would've turned into one crazy cluster, and would lead to both families losing someone within the family. Because I would never live with myself if I am to blame for the death of my own brother.'
'There has to be another world out there, one where they forced Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, and then it turned into a cluster of unholy events that led to some god damn obnoxious ordeals. If I could go to that world, then I would slap the crud out of my version there and make her suffer for ruining her family.'
(The Water Zone Dining and Bar.)
Lori and Carol make it to the location, and then they go around and look for the others, but then they're startled when everyone popped out of nowhere from stealth tech and cheer. "Surprise! Happy Birthday Lori and Carol!" Michelle is holding a tablet that shows Carol's parents.
The whole thing has been made into a golf-style party, and with the colors of Lori and Carol, and all of them dressed in golf uniform that seems similar to Fairway University.
The duo are surprised by this and go to everyone with tears. Carol goes over and speaks with her parents, because they too forgot about her birthday and she's okay with it. She forgot too.
Lori goes over and hugs her family. "Guys, this is so amazing! Leni made this happen?"
"Hmm, sorta" replied Leni. "You see, the others helped out and so I helped supervise the whole thing and boom! This is what we see now, an awesome party for the two of you, turning 20!"
"Then dad made the food" said Luan. "I also helped out, even though there are some cooks here, dad and I wanted to make something you would like. Because knowing you, you'd love what dad has been cooking ever since you're 7th birthday party."
Lisa then speaks. "Jordan managed to bring with her a small device that would make a stealth aura for all of us to enact the surprise for you and Carol Pingrey."
Mark then speaks. "My parents greed to this, and also this is the first ever birthday here in the Warren's Water Zone. So, congrats and we have something else to show you and Ms. Pingrey." They all step aside and both girls are surprised by what they've been given.
They both have coupons on two year's half-off of spa time here at the Warren's Water Zone.
The whole thing makes Carol faint, and onto Lincoln and Jordan. Lynn Jr and Luna go over to help them, while the teens help Carol wake up.
Lori sees this and smiles. She then sees Lincoln and Jordan also helping Carol wake up. Then Lori recalls what she thought of earlier. 'If there is another world out there… I need to speak to the other world versions of ourselves, the hero versions and find out, about another world.'
'But to contact them is either by Lincoln, Luna or Jordan…. Or, I can ask Peter Harris and then he can contact the FutureTech folks and the Royal Defenders, and then I can be able to know more about another world version of me, one who made horrible mistakes that ruined everyone's lives.'
Lori then goes over and helps them wake up Carol, while Fiona has her phone and takes a selfie of this and sends it for their friends to see.
To be continued…
