Chapter 621.
"Zoo problems patched up part 1."
(July 13. Great Lakes City Zoo.)
The ride from Luna arrives, along with the limos from Gretchen and Hope, and they brought a lot of friends with them to see what was going on at the Great Lake City Zoo.
Lincoln, Jordan, Luna, Sam, Lana, Michelle, Ryan, Gretchen, Hope, Angel, Mark, Simon, Stella, Clyde, Chloe, Liam, Zach, Tabby, Giggles, Mollie, Sadie, Artie, Lance, Trent, Joy, Kat, Cookie, Flat Tire, Jenny, Chad, Richie, Christina, Darrel and Delilah.
They even brought the eagles (But Nora, Harrier, Bullet and Swellow aren't with them), Bernardo, Butterfree, Yamper and Rockruff.
They walk into the zoo and are surprised by what they see. "Whoa. Whoa. What the heck happened here?" asked Jordan.
They can see a lot of monkey's dressed as waiters and are starting one heck of a food fight, and some of the folks there are trying their best to avoid the monkey gone wild onslaught and one of the monkey's is resting his butt on the ice cream bowl, that Laird was gonna eat.
Some of the animals are on skateboards and roller skates and it looks like some of them are not so good at skating around, and then they see Stanley Chang sitting by himself on the bench and he looks kinda scarred.
They spot Vito getting grabbed by Bitsy and slapped by a paintbrush, the ostrich Priscilla is chasing some women with bird style hair and the folks are covering their ears from one awful singing cockatiel.
"Either this is a new scenario for a series I have seen on TV or we just stepped into a Great Lakes City plan gone wrong" said Gretchen, she moves to the side as a cupcake misses her and hits Mabel who was about to go in.
"What the heck happened here? And why the heck is everything in shambles?" asked Zach. He then gets pushed to the side by Lance as a bird flies by him. "Seriously what the heck happened here?"
The sound of the bad singing cockatiel is making everyone annoyed. "Alright that's it!" Luna goes to the stereos and she disconnects it and then she kicks it away and then Sam grabs the microphone and she throws that away, the bird flies away from her.
Lana then helps grab some of the reptiles, and she uses her training skills and they're all listening to her, and she then spots Adelaide on the tree of the marmoset's enclosure and so they go towards her. "Adelaide, what the heck is going on?!"
Adelaide comes down, and hugs one of the marmosets, Marcel. "Guys, the zoo is closing, and we're trying to raise money to keep it open and this is all Sid's doing, I wanna keep the marmosets family together!" She then sheds some tears.
Michelle goes over and helps calm down the crying child. "Yup, this is all Sid at her best" said Mollie. "What the heck was she thinking?!" Then she grabs the incoming cake. "Hey!"
The monkey runs off and hides, but then Bernardo catches the monkey and so the rest of the kids and the animal and Pokémon companions help wrangle this mess. Butterfree manages to put the animals to sleep, and Bernardo calms down Bitsy and tackles the ostrich.
The other eagles grab the sleeping monkey's, and Yamper uses thunderbolt to scare some of the birds back to their enclosure, and then Rockruff uses stone edge to scare the other large wildlife that Sid let out to be interacted.
The rest of the preteens go around and help clean up the mess, and boy is it messy. Lana makes sure she grabs all the reptiles and if there are some animals still around, she can sense where they are and Delilah checks on any animals that may have gotten hurt through the whole thing.
Lincoln and Jordan look around and they spot Sid headed towards them, and with Ronnie Anne and Becca. "Guys! You came, thanks a lot for…"
"What the heck were you thinking Sid Chang?!" yelled Jordan. "Do you have any idea what chaos unfolded…. Never mind, the chaos did come and a lot of folks at this point won't even come to the zoo to raise the cash for this place."
Sid was feeling fearful about this side of Jordan, and Ronnie Anne as well. Lincoln tries to speak.
"I mean, you can't have monkey's be waiters because they're not trained and training them would take a long, long time. Animals and skateboarding barely even mix, sure a do could, but not an elephant or other species! Also, an animal fair should have them in their enclosures, only animals you can trust could be given the opportunity to wander around, with little to no trouble."
This side of Jordan is something they did not see coming, and Stanley is now scared. "I was afraid of getting hit by an elephants butt again, but now I'm scared of her. Dang, she's good at yelling."
Sid looks around at the chaos that went down and she wipes away her tears. "Wow… Guys, mom and dad…. I am so sorry, I thought I could do it, but I guess I was no help at all."
Jordan calms down. "Sid, you have ideas that seem good, but you don't think them through. Why else is Ronnie Anne the one who seems to make plans that sometimes fail, and yet she makes up for them with a well-thought out new plan?"
Ronnie Anne chuckle. "Yeah, I… Wait, what?"
Lincoln goes over to Sid. "Sid, calm down. You did your best, and what matters is that no one got…" He sees some folks are hurt. "Yeah, never mind. But we can still help make this work, we could help raise money for the zoo."
Sid wipes away some tears. "What? Really?"
"We can" said Hope. "We are rich, and we can help save the zoo. We know how much the zoo means to you and you're mom, and you're little sister. We won't let this place down."
Gretchen then has an idea. "A Gala! A Grand Reopening Gala, something for folks to come to and see the zoo as something new and awesome! We can setup some food, music and let the trusted animals come out so they can interact."
Sid wipes away her tears and smiles to the idea. "Wow, that actually sounds pretty cool." she then looks to her mother. "Well, what do you think mom?"
Becca smiles. "I think that's a great idea. But, as much as the cash you guys could help, perhaps we could make it into a charity gala and you guys don't have to use a lot of cash to pay. We'd like the help from the good folks around the city to help as well."
They all agree to this idea and they go around to make the plan go in motion. Luna, Sam, Darrel, Lincoln, Jordan and Tabby start talking about the music for the whole place.
Clyde and Chloe speak with Stanley about the food, and then he shares them something that could work. The others go around and help clean up this mess.
Sid then goes to her mother. "Mom, I'm sorry this went down so bad real fast. I guess I should've thought this through. I'm terrible at helping."
Becca kneels down to her daughter's level. "Sid, don't beat yourself up over the whole thing. Sure you're plan did make the zoo into a mess, but you can make up for it by doing your part with the gala tonight. We can still make this work, Siddo."
Sid smiles hearing that. "Alright, alright. Thanks mom."
Becca hugs her daughter. "I know you didn't mean to rin everything Sid, all that matters is that we're going to help make this… Wait, Adelaide what are you doing?!" They depart from the hug and see Adelaide digging a hole in the Marmoset's enclosure.
They go over to stop her and figure out why the heck she is doing this. Luna then has an idea and she whispers to Sam about adding some music for Sid to enjoy, and this makes Sam happy.
Lincoln then goes through social media, and then he sees that a YouTuber is there on vacation, and then he looks to the marmosets and one of them is named Marcel. 'Hmm, I think it would be nice for a celebrity to be here in the zoo.'
