Chapter 622.
"Zoo problems patched up part 2."
(July 13. Great Lakes City Zoo.)
The night is looking good and the zoo looks dang awesome, and all thanks to the ones who donated cash and want to help make the Great Lakes City Zoo Gala look amazing, Hope Pertland and Gretchen Warwick.
Only some of the animals are allowed to wander around and interact, so that there won't be any chaos. But if Bitsy wants to come out, then Becca has to be there to keep an eye on the elephant. Of course they let the Marmosets out because they seem well-behaved and Adelaide can keep an eye on them.
Luna Loud, along with Sam Sharp and Tabby are on stage and rockin' some music, but not too loud or too epic. Why aren't Sully and Mazzy there? It's their date night.
As the whole thing goes on Gretchen and Hope interact with the marmosets and even feed them the food that Stanley made, and then Sid goes towards them. "Girls, this gala looks amazing! I love it! Everybody loves it so, so much!"
Becca also goes to them. "Also, the charity meter is going up, and we're above the Adams apple!" They look to the meter bar and it's in the shape of a giraffe. "We reach the very tip of the tongue and this place is saved, and thanks for the extra catering."
They see Lynn Sr helping serve some food, alongside Stanley who is making more pizza bao and Lynn Sr is impressed. "Wow. I didn't think you could make something this good, and with amazing sauce!"
Staley spins his fork. "I'm more than just trains, a chuga-chuga woo-woo! And Cooking." The duo high five each other and then serve some food.
They watch as the meter goes up and the cash is being brought in. The first stack of cash from before is the donated money from Hope and Gretchen, and their parents, and the remaining cash being donated is from the folks coming in and even Delilah and her mom came and the rest of their friends with their parents.
"At this rate, we can earn enough money to pay up for more new stuff for the zoo" said Becca. "Also, what the heck?"
They spot Hector, and he's with Rosa and the old geezer is chowing down on pizza bao none stop and Rosa is now confused and concerned. "I have never seen him eat like this, ever since I showed him my especial red tacos. Also, I thought he forgot his wallet?"
Luan has a pizza bao and chuckles at this. "Well, I guess he's pepperoni and excited to be gobbling down like a turkey, but he sure it gonna be stuffed up yet."
CJ chuckles to that. "Good one, but seriously, how much can Abuelo eat?"
"Oh, it is on!" Lynn Jr orders a whole bowl and she pays for it and then eats as much as she can. Seeing this was giving Stanley an idea, and he whispers to Lynn Sr and he also agrees.
Everyone and the animals watch as a food eating contest was made, or should I say a pizza bao eating contest and the contestants are Lynn Jr, Hector, Vito and Polly Pain! Stanley is the judge. "On your mark, get set, and engines leave the station!" They all look to him confused. "It mean's go."
They all gobble down non-stop and try to keep up with each other, but Vito stops after ten pizza bao. "Oh, I don't think I can eats anymore." He eats one more and then passes out, while Bitsy paints a proper painting of him passed out.
The eagles fly around and enjoy the party and even celebrate with the egrets who are having their own feathered party, but the one bird who isn't partaking is Sergio. "Rawrk, we didn't invite them here!"
But then Priscila pushes him away and dances with the rest of the birds, and seeing his ex-girlfriend dance with the eagles makes him angry, but then the parrot notices some eagles are missin. "Rawrk, where is that beautiful golden eagle?"
The ostrich hears this and she gets angry and she kicks Sergio away and then buries him into the dirt. Carol sees this and points and laughs at Sergio. "Looks like someone forgot to keep his beak shut."
Lincoln and Jordan look around and they even let the Marmosets sit on their head and they share with them some of the pizza bao they're eating.
"Dang, this place is awesome and groovin' up like the wildlife" said Jordan. She then gives another pizza bao to the marmoset. "The pandas are having fun too."
They watch as the pandas go around and interact with the folks as they do some silly stuff, and even cutely sneeze and then we see Jillian and her son, Lucas and he's happy to see the pandas roam around and he's dressed like one.
"At least everyone here is enjoying themselves. Also, did you hear about what our counterparts are doing?" asked Lincoln.
Jordan nods. "They said they added some new animals to the zoo in their great lakes city, and that these animals are the next evolutionary curve form the future. Would be nice to see them though."
Adelaide overhears this and is now curious. 'Hmm, the other world versions have some new animals? Are they dinosaurs or something else? Maybe I can ask next time.' She then goes back to the marmoset enclosure and plays with the marmosets in there. Then she runs when the guard sees her in there
Ronnie Anne and Sid walk towards Lincoln and Jordan. "So, how are you guys loving this?" asked Sid.
"This is great, looks like cooperating with Hope and Gretchen is working wonders" said Lincoln. They duck down when a toucan flies by. "At least some of the animals are trusted to come out and interact with the folks."
"They made sure these are the wildlife that won't be a fuss" said Ronnie Anne. They then look to the eating contest, and Lynn Jr won. "Well, that seems successful, also poor Abuelo."
They see Hector is exhausted and he can't eat any… Then he grabs another one and so Rosa drags hi away. "Wait, I need more!" But he's dragged away from the food and towards a bench where she'll keep an eye on him.
"Seriously, how the heck can he eat after eating so many?" asked Sid. Then her ears pick up a familiar sound and she turns around and sees that Luna, Sam and Tabby are letting the song of 12 is midnight is playing.
Sid is wide eyed and she begins to dance to the beat, and so does Ronnie Anne. Lincoln and Jordan smile seeing this and the duo fist bump each other. "The plan worked" said Jordan. "Something for Sid to be happy about, since she did try her hardest and helped fix her own mess."
"Dang right" said Lincoln. "Also, what the heck is going on?"
They spot that all of the animals around the zoo are dancing to the sound of K-Pop, and even the pandas who are trying and they end up falling over, and this makes Lucas laugh.
Everyone else dances to this beat and it is pretty impressive. "Well, dang. Looks like K-Pop does make animals dance, Sid was right, sorta" said Ryan. He then goes over and dances with Gretchen.
Lincoln and Jordan keep looking to the folks dancing, and even they're friends and so they join in as well. Michelle is confused, but then realizes. 'Right, whenever Sid comes here, she sometimes listens to K-Pop and thus the animals also partake in the stuff.'
Lisa on the other hand is trying to make sense of all of this. "I am confused, what does K-Pop have anything to do with animals and their reactions to it. This is something that needs to be looked into more."

With the gala over, they all go around and help clean up the place. Lynn Jr is passed out from eating too much and she also had to use the toilet, and now they need to fix the toilets, and thankfully Lana is there to help.
The twins and Lisa are fast asleep and Lucy keeps an eye on them. Luna, Sam, Lincoln, Jordan and Tabby clean up the instruments and the rest of the gear, and then they see the others cleaning up the place.
Becca checks on the cash needed for the zoo, and Sid helps her along with Adelaide. Stanley is cleaning his cooking station and so does Lynn Sr and the father of the louds asks for the recipe, but that is something Stanley has to think about.
"Well, this night has been going well" said Jordan. "This whole night has been quite the gala, and everyone loved it, and chances we can have this again."
"Now that sounds like a rockin' and rollin' idea" said Sam. "That is, if Hope and Gretchen are chill with it, because I am so stoked from what we all did." they watch as Hope and Gretchen talk to Becca and Sid.
"This night has been something" said Lincoln. He then carries the stereo. "I don't know what…" Then they all hear something. "What was that noise?" Then they see Michelle's car has been hit by something, and it's a stolen pickup truck.
The windows open and gas bombs have been released and smoke fogs the zoo. Then someone in the shadows of the fog tackles Becca. "Hey, the money!" But someone punches her in the face and kicks away Sid.
The smoke reaches the stage and Luna is pushed away, Sam is kicked off the stage and something hits Jordan and Tabby and then Lincoln is knocked out and taken away. The truck then starts its engines and drives off. The smoke is cleared by all the birds who have all learned gust from Apollo and Raptor.
With the smoke clear, they see Sid, Adelaide and Stanley tending to a hurt Becca. "Wait, where did the money go?!"
Luna and Jordan look around and they see someone is missing. "Lincoln?!"
