Chapter 652.

"Linnaeus crazy."

(August 15. The Loud House.)

Lincoln is done putting on his clothes and he has some plans for today, and one of them is to go and visit what Jordan and the Rosato's are doing, and Lincoln is looking forward to check on what the eagle eggs are doing, because late of August is the moment when the eggs will hatch.

He then sees Leni in her room and she checks on the photo of herself with Kurt on the beach the other day and this makes her smile, then she hears a knock and sees her brother. "Hey sis, you doing okay?"

Leni goes over and hugs her little brother. "Never better, little bro. Just feeling quite happy after Kurt hanging out with us. That was the best moments I had with him, and I look forward to seeing him again too."

Lincoln nods and they depart from the hug. "Same here. He's a cool guy, and we're happy about the feelings you have for him, all of us."

Leni is surprised to hear this and she blushes, she wants to deny it, but she knew that Lincoln would talk otherwise. "Y-Yeah, I guess so…. But, romance is not on his agenda, yet. I can wait, and when he does ask, then I'll say yes to any first date we're gonna have. That is, if he plans to come here again soon."

Lincoln nods and he checks his watch. "Well, I should get going now. See you later sis, and keep thinking good thoughts, Kurt Logann would be dang lucky to have a sweet-hearted girl like you, because you both have the same thing in common. You guys will always put family first, and always care for them."

Leni smiles. "Thanks, Linky. I needed that." She then watches as her brother leaves the hallway and goes down the stairs and so she goes to the bathroom, and Lincoln heads out of the house and onto his bike.

But Lola noticed and overheard all of this and she's ticked off at all of this. 'So, Leni thinks he can have a first date with Kurt Logann? Well, not while I got something to do about that. Because when Kurt does return, he'll be noticing me and see that I'm….'

"Lola, don't even think about it." Lola gets startled when she sees Lucy, and also with her are Luan, Lana and Lisa. "Lola, this whole obsession for Kurt is not gonna do you any good and just gonna reel you into a messed up world of trouble."

Lana also speaks. "Yeah, you're just gonna end up hurting yourself and Leni, and also Kurt. We don't like this side of you, and surely Lincoln and the others won't either, and same with mom and dad."

Lola looks to her sisters in shock. "Wait, you would rat me out?!"

Luan nods. "Don't test us Lola, we've been through this stuff when trouble sparks and sometimes that trouble can be in the home field and we're not gonna let you shave the points."

Lisa looks to Luan and smirks. "That was pretty good." She then looks towards Lola. "Lola, this will not go onward for us to handle with you trying to claim Kurt as your own. He is older than you, and he has interests for Leni as well. But his agenda will be onto her, once the time comes. You will end up becoming the sole reason why Kurt would never come back, ever again. Do not make trouble."

Lola sighs and then she grumbles and walks away, and this makes the four girls disappointed by what Lola is doing with herself.

But they all don't know that Leni is overhearing this and now she's concerned. 'Wait, so Lola wants to mess with the stuff I do with Kurt? What the heck is she thinking? Dang it, now this is the Hugh ordeal all over again. She does this, then trouble will spark and I don't want her to become that trouble, again.'

(Rosato Mansion.)

Lincoln soon arrives, and when he does he's confused by what he sees, and he gets off his bike and stands next to Jordan, Ryan, Rick, Jesse and Ajax, and even Gretchen, Hope, Mark and Angel are with them and they all seem confused by what they see. "Umm, what the heck is going on?"

The group spot Caroline Linnaeus and she's sitting in front of the eagle sanctum at the other side of the glass, and she has binoculars taped to her glasses and a notepad as she observes closely, but the eagles are all look towards her, confused by all of this.

They also notice…. Her clothing seems, almost torn and her underclothes are almost visible, her hair is tied to a bun by some vines, and she looks covered in mud and some bruises and bandaging she made herself. "So, how long has she been up there?" asked Lincoln.

"That one, we're not sure" replied Ryan. "We just came out here and then we saw her doing this. Also, she doesn't seem to be a threat at the moment, she looks… Demented."

Rick scoffs. "She sure does seem demented. Watch this… Hey! Do you know where you are?" But no response. "We tried calling her several times, and she doesn't respond."

Jesse sighs. "She may not be doing anything bad, but we can't be sure in her true intentions. Also, we're gonna call the cops later to deal with her. She's freaking me out already with the state she's in."

Lincoln then speaks. "Wait, let us talk to her." The others are confused, and Jordan nods. So the duo walk towards the mansion, they take the stairs inside of the mansion, and the duo reach the roof of the place and see Caroline Linnaeus still looking to the eagles and their eggs.

The duo approach her slowly. Jordan is the first to speak. "Caroline Linnaeus?"

The woman looks to them and they see her large eyes on her binoculars and this scares them. "Wow!"

The lady then removes them. "S-Sorry, just trying to s-see what the eggs are doing. B-because…. Because it wouldn't be right t-to… To not s-see what they a-are doing…" She then eats an acorn.

Lincoln and Jordan look to each other and then to the others, and even they're confused at what this lady is doing. Lincoln then asks. "Caroline Linnaeus, are you feeling alright?"

The woman then spits out the acorn. "Y-Yes, I am…. why wouldn't I b-be?"

Jordan shows her the mirror. "Miss, you look like the female version of Tom Hanks Castaway, or Robin Williams Jumanji…. Well, female version, also you smell bad."

Caroline Linnaeus looks to herself and then she is confused. "What? What the heck? I just…" she then sits back down. "Sorry. I just…" she puts her hands to her head. "I was just… I lost it, didn't I?"

Lincoln and Jordan are confused and then they nod, then Lincoln asks. "What the heck are you doing here?"

Caroline Linnaeus, sits down and she sighs. "Kids, I have lost my sense of who I am after I wanted the eagle eggs, and I did some bad stuff in the process to get to this, alongside some plans to take them." This alarms Lincoln and Jordan, and the eagles and they were ready to fight her.

But then Jordan asks. "So, you came here to spy on them?"

Caroline nods. "I came here to… To see what would happen, but I guess my mind went blank and I became insane, huh?" the two kids nod and she chuckles. "Yeah, trying to figure out what to do with something like this can be a hard time for a person with a big brain and I have lost it."

This didn't make Lincoln and Jordan feel better, then Caroline shows them the stuff she stole, and all in one bag and all the stuff looked like sharp and blunt for objects. Some stuff to break into some place, and then Jordan looks to her confused. "Why aren't you going after them now?"

Caroline sighs. "Because seeing all of you trying to keep them safe, and trying to make sure they stay healthy for when they hatch… That made me realize, that what I was doing was making my life worse and also making me into something horrible. That and… I don't have anything left…."

"I fled to the forest to go through what my mind was trying to sort out, but then I had this small war with myself who wants to experiment on the eggs, but… The side of me that says otherwise went to some kind of war and then…. I snapped, I lost it and now I don't know what to do."

Lincoln looks inside the bag and he sees some cash and it didn't seem that much. The duo look to each other and they know that they have to do the right thing.

(Later.)

A cop car arrives, and the officer takes Caroline Linnaeus away, she already admitted what she planned, and that she has stolen some stuff around town to survive, and so she has to be sent to jail. But before she gets into the car, she looks to the others.

"Keep a close eye on the eggs, don't let anything bad happen to them. They are the embodiment of a new future of species, and a lot of folks will want them, a lot of folks outside of this town." She then goes into the squad car and it drives off.

The others are surprised by what she had just said, but her words make sense. They know, that the Bald Eagle and North American Golden Eagles DNA into these chicks is rare, and many would want to have one, and there are five eggs.

Lincoln and Jordan look to the eggs. "What are the true intentions of Dr. Caroline Linnaeus?" asked Jordan.

"I don't know, but we're gonna need to figure something out to know what's the real truth behind this" said Lincoln. He then looks to Jordan. "Also, we'll need to make sure those eggs are safe, sound and that no one comes for them, even when they hatch."

Jordan nods. "Then we're gonna need a plan." they then look to the eagle sanctuary and they continue to look to the eagles, all of them tending to the eagle eggs.

(Nighttime.)

Night has come to the Rosato mansion, and Ryan Rosato is done getting some glass of water from the kitchen, and the kid looks very sleepy and he nearly stumbles when going up the stairs. He continues to his bedroom and he goes inside.

Ryan then removes his glasses and he yawns, but then he sees two figures, they seem blurry. "Mom? Dad?" He then puts his glasses back on and he's now surprised by who he sees. "Wait, mom and dad?"

But the two figures put chloroform to his mouth and the preteen passes out. The duo are the former parents of Ryan. Jeff and Carly Miller.

The couple didn't like doing this, Carly then sees the picture of Ryan with the Rosato's and he seems happy with them. "Are we doing the right thing, Jeff?"

Jeff sighs. "I… I don't know, come on. We have to get back to our boss, now." The duo then head for the window, but then they hear growling and they spot Ajax, and the Austrian Shepard is about to bark, but Jeff shoots a tranq dart and the dog passes out. "Sorry, but we can't have anyone waking anyone up."

The couple leave the bedroom through the window and they escape into the night, with Ryan Rosato.
