Chloe's mother always told her how nervous she was on her wedding day. In fact, her mother almost didn't make it to the church. The redhead stood in her bedroom staring into the mirror. She wore a simple white dress with heels, a blue clip holding her curls away from her face. It was perfect. She had always imagined wearing a wedding dress with a veil and hair pinned just so. It had felt completely wrong wearing the different gowns she had tried on in the dressmakers.
One night when she couldn't sleep, she was searching the internet for a white dress and found the one she wore now. Instantly, she knew it was the one for her. Simple yet elegant. She touched up her makeup, secured a necklace around her neck, and picked up the bouquet of pink peonies.
She didn't feel nervous. She felt at peace, knowing today she would marry the love of her life. The beginning of a new chapter in their journey, filled with endless possibilities. She thought of the brunette and all the happy memories they shared, so many more would come as the years passed.
Beca was getting ready at Alessandra and Zara's apartment so they wouldn't see each other before the wedding. She had organised seperate cars to take them to the wharf for sunset. Chloe could see the driver pulling up outside the house and made her way downstairs, grabbing her matching white purse before locking the door.

Chloe walked down through the park towards the place they were to meet. As she got closer, she took a moment to embrace what was about to happen. She breathed in, smiled, and walked through the trees where she could see the brunette waiting for her. Beca turned around hearing heels clicking on the wooden wharf. Chloe couldn't help but smile as she looked at her fiancé. Dressed in navy pants, a white shirt, and a polka dot navy tie. Her hair was pinned up and her sleeves rolled to expose her lower arms where her latest tattoo was visible. Her navy heels gave her some height, but Chloe still found herself taller as she walked over to her.
"You look beautiful," Chloe stated and pulled her chin up to meet her lips.
"As do you," Beca said as her eyes watered slightly. They embraced and Chloe wiped away the tears with a tissue from her purse.
"No crying on your wedding day, and stop kissing the bride before I say you can," Zara teased as she walked onto the wharf with Alessandra close behind her.
"What are you guys doing here?" Chloe smiled.
"Ah yeah, so… Zara got herself certified to be a celebrant, and you need a witness which meant I get to tag along as well." Alessandra chuckled and gave Chloe a hug. "Plus we need photographic evidence that Beca cried on her wedding day." She pulled a camera out of her bag and started fiddling with the lens.
"I hope that's okay, I know you wanted it to be the two of us but she went to all that trouble to get certified…" Beca explained but Chloe put a finger to her lips.
"It's perfect, they were there in the beginning and it makes sense that they are here today to join us."

Moments later they were standing at the end of the dock holding hands as Zara went through the beginning of the ceremony speech. Less was taking photos but neither Chloe or Beca paid much mind to anything going on around them. It was time for them to exchange vows. Chloe went first, confessing her love and promising to be there through the good and bad. There was a shimmer of a tear in both their eyes as the redhead slipped the gold band on. Then it was Beca's turn.
"Chloe. From the moment we met, I was drawn to you. The way you light up a room whenever you enter, the way your dimples show when you're smiling. I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I am so thankful that today I can call you my wife."
She made a nervous laugh and reached to Alessandra who handed her a thick brown notebook with a white ribbon wrapped around it.
"I wanted to give you something that I have been working on for a while, a notebook filled with the happiest moments since we met." She handed the notebook to Chloe who untied the ribbon and opened the notebook. Tears quickly spilled as she saw pages filled with words, polaroids, hand drawn pictures, ticket receipts, and so much more. She wrapped her arms around the smaller woman and placed a kiss to her forehead.
"Thank you, thank you, a thousand times over." She handed the notebook to Less and wiped away her tears before they continued. Beca placed the diamond ring on Chloe's finger and smiled.
"You may now kiss and make this marriage official!" Zara announced.
Beca wrapped one hand around the redheads waist and the other behind her neck before closing the gap and kissing her gently. She kissed her deeper before slightly pulling away and whispering, "You my love, are my happy ending."

The End.
