Rimuru-sensei arrives!
As Rimuru left Yuuki's Office, he managed to learn new things.
She was a Reincarnator. She was a construction specialist as her job implies and her fairy tale of a monster town can be made possible by knowing how to make it work. The calculations to pull that off, is something only a construction specialist can do.
How she got to be here?
She was heading for work and about to cross the street, when a mugger literally stabbed her in the back with a knife before taking her purse. Next thing she knows, she's a Poring. She insists she's a Poring, not a Slime, having played Ragnarok Online before he was born and she showed him the game as an illusion.
She heard a female voice that sounded like something out of vocaloid when she complained how being stabbed to death hurts...and she was reborn as a Slime as a result of her complaining that got Yuuki howling in laughter laughing at 'You got Karma coming!' ending in her smacking him with a fan in annoyance.
(She did not tell what her skills are of course and she did NOT say she ate Shizu or how she was Veldora's last kid.)
She told him what a Japanese Adult Life was like that for her, her time in school was a dream and a long lie compared to insane adult life she was sick of anything that reminded her of modern, and enjoyed living a fantasy countryside life with her subordinates perfectly content with her lot in life, seeing new life here as 'comfy retirement' and grouchily told him about Japanese Adult Life she definitely did not miss and the only thing she'd actually miss are her family and she'll never get to see her first nephew or niece, as her brother's fiancee was pregnant, five months along before her death. Oh, and the new anime that came out lately too wasn't even complete, so her stash in her head wasn't complete either.
But now, Rimuru would have full authority like he did on the summoned kids thrown away by the nations that summoned them.
'I have no idea if Slimes can marry and have kids, and nobody bothered to study my new race, so I'd like to adopt them after our time here ends. Besides, the nations washed their hands off them to make the process smoother and should I give them school and training, we'll say, 'Nope, no takebacks, jerks!' we should protect our fellow earthlings...especially kids.'
So yeah, Rimuru caused him a lot of paperwork pulling THAT off, though she compensated him with manga.
Well, the kids are skill-less anyway, they wouldn't be missed by the kingdoms who summoned them. Any monkey can pull off being a magic user and a swordsman, Yuuki thought. But still, based on intel he got, she was strong yet he felt not even a drop of energy from her. She is basically a powerless human. Was this Rimuru a powerless copy or a skill she uses to register human past Ingrassia's barriers?
He'll have to chummy up with her some more.
You can't build a town of monsters and manage to build a peaceful town without power. Monsters respect and bow down to power, as she is greatly respected in Tempest and managed to get good deals. She was a high-class monster with a town of A-Class Monsters for crying out loud.
To put it into perspective...to wipe out a village of B-Class Monsters you'd need a couple thousand Knights.
To destroy Tempest, you'd need tens of thousands.
But Rimuru is a fellow Otaku like himself with modern Earth knowledge. It takes one to know one, that the other will be dangerous. And while he has more reach and resources, she who's a high-level monster and 130-something-thousand A-Class Monsters, they're dead even if one annoys the other. And given how she killed Orc Disaster? Bad idea to fight her.
He'll have to think as she only showed two techniques so far. How she ate Orc Disaster, no idea but it's a Skill no doubt. And her knowledge of magic can't be underestimated either.
He sent Tear to check out the business trade of Tempest and she has yet to come back. So Blumund is the easiest route. Footman has a rather...interesting experience in Dwargon when he sent him there to gain information on Dwargon's ties with Tempest.
Apparently, there's an alert put out against the Moderate Harlequin Alliance if Dwargon registered Footman as an Enemy on sight and he got chased out by Elite Troops coming out of that famed Central Gate...Blumund is a mediocre country with security to match, Tear would have better luck sneaking in. She should be back tonight.
And he has a nice Trojan Horse, too.

Freedom Academy...
The Freedom Academy is an institution to nurture the guild's members, located at Headquarters. Moreover, each class is separate just like in the guild.
Thus, they are divided just like how the guild. However, teaching is shared between multiple classes.
Students are bumped up by Class based on performance.
In a way, the Academy trains 'novices'. Schooling as kids, but come age 13-17, they would train in their chosen class. Swordsman, Heavy Fighter, Mage, Summoner, Thief, Healer, and Archer.
Novices are trained hard in Survival Skills such as Camping, Cooking, Laundry, First Aid, and basic Combat Skills and Spells as well as undergoing intensive physical training, alongside General Education like that of a normal school curriculum, except subjects adventurers don't need, are replaced by what's useful. If you want a job profession, choose while you're still a Novice, so you will get a curriculum that will help you prepare for arduous training.
Anyone of any age can apply. But if you're a teenage applicant, you skip General Education entirely and go straight to training unlike little kids who start at age 6.
As for Class S...S for Summoneds, only otherworlders are allowed in this class.
Their education and training is a lot stricter if they have Skills upon coming to this world.
But in the case of the kids who would become her students? They're a thing to be pitied and have five years or less left to live, that the teachers would rather coddle them instead, unknowingly reminding them every day they don't have long left. How Innocently Insensitive.
Not only that, no teacher was willing to take Shizu's place according to Yuuki. It was a heavy responsibility of seeing children who have no future, simply waiting to die because they couldn't become the Heroes this world wanted them to be but they never asked for it.
Upon coming in, she took out her staff...and blocked a flame attack when she got in and grabbing midair an eraser that was stuck on the door made to fall on anyone who comes in. Classic prank.
TvTropes say that in cases like this, it's best to be honest.
'Wha?! How'd she easily block my attack?!'
...need she mention that due to how they lived so far? They were imps.
But when she looked at the kids, something in her reacted and she saw Veldora's eyes for a split-second. Someone he knows? She'll ask him later.
Chloe Aubert. Kenya Misaki. Ryota Sekiguchi are ten years old.
Alice Rondo is age nine, the youngest.
Gale Gibson is the eldest being eleven.
'With permission from Chairman Kagurazaka, we'll all go to Ulgrasia Republic.' she told the kids. 'I am your new teacher.'
'What do you mean by that?' Alice demanded.
'When Shizu left the academy, she was looking for a way to stabilize your magicules in her last years of life. Despite how she looks, she's 74 years old and she died of old age last year in her journey to find a way to save you. We met along the way.' several jaws dropped. They thought they were abandoned when in fact, they weren't.
'B-but she didn't look like an old granny?!' Kenya sputtered out.
'Shizu was infused with a high-ranking spirit that enabled her to stay young. I'm sure you heard of Spirit Fusion in your lessons?' the kids nodded weakly. 'Since her fusion was a success, she would have become a Majin, but she refused to become one, and used her skill to remain human somehow. End result, her insides are that of an elderly, even if she has the appearance of a high schooler like myself. She prefers the natural course of things.' Rimuru sighed wistfully, before looking serious again.
'It was her dying will that I find a way to save you kids as she ran out of time.' Rimuru told them softly. 'I told Kagurazaka how things ended between us that he agreed to draw up the paperwork for your withdrawal from this school and my adoption of you that will need time processing after we go to Ulgrasia to pair you up with high-ranking spirits so you'll all see adulthood. Shizu asked me to figure out to save you and I did just that.' the kids lit up in hope and got all teary-eyed on her.
'Until it goes through, we sadly have to go back to this classroom until we get the go sign for you kids to leave this school permanently with me.'
'And what after that?' Gale asked her nervously.
'You'll all live with me in my town if he manages to make it work.' Rimuru smiled. 'Everyone there is nice and friendly even if they look a lot different.' she reassured them. 'I know how far you kids are in your curriculum, so we can begin from there. But for now, pack up a tent and camping gear and we're going to Ulgrasia Republic. Chairman's gonna lend us a carriage and I'll give you new equipment afterward.'
'Equipment?' Kenya lit up in excitement.
'Aa. Despite how they look, they are made of high-grade monster materials.' Rimuru gifted them blue versions of FGO Mage uniform.
'Girls first, so boys out. You girls have five minutes to change into that.'

School grounds, two hours later...
'Hey hey, what's our new gear?' Kenya asked Rimuru excitedly as they have a carriage ready after putting their camping gear in.
'Whoa whoa, hold your horses kids.' Rimuru chuckled as she took out weapons out of her space. The kids wondered what magic she did to hide stuff in her body its awesome to them. From wary, mistrustful brats into gaining instant respect as they now have hope for the future even though they'll never get to go home ever again.
Thanks to Cabal and Gido, she gained information on the kids, that she's quite, savvy with what to give them, and she and the Blacksmith Boys brainstormed to help the children out of their predicament. Enchanted Weapons that grow in size as they get older until they reached maximum height and their weapons will be of size and length as to not hinder them in life. Gale got a spear from her. His spear was based off of Durindana. Ryoma has a pure-white bow with carvings, something off of Warcraft Night Elf when their graphics got better.
'Er sensei, where's the quiver and arrows?' Ryoma croaked out shakily. 'I can't use a bow alone!'
'Yeah, he can't do squat with just a bow!' said Kenya.
'Try pulling the string.' Rimuru egged on. Ryoma nervously pulled the string, but he felt 'something being siphoned' off him and as he pulled, an arrow of light is formed.
'Wah?!'
'As long as you have magicules in your body, you can create as many arrows for shooting as possible. At your current condition...' Rimuru touched Ryoma's neck to scan him using Great Sage.
/Answer: Subject Ryoma Sekiguchi's magicule levels are that of a B-Class Monster and its just as unstable like the other children while rapidly accumulating within him. Dangerous for a child his age. Should the children reach a level of A-Class...they will all perish explosively./
"Yikes." Rimuru did not show her nervousness. They have less than five years at this rate, so finding the Dwelling is extremely important now.
Adventurers of A-Class power are equal to B-Class monsters in magicule levels. Unlike these kids, they can control their magicules through training as their magicules are steady and stable from the start. They're not like Otherworlders like themselves.
Children like these kids should have the magicule levels of a Goblin and thankfully, STABLE but they had agitated unstable and high amount of magicules from the beginning since they arrived here as the energy they gained from summoning did not manifest as a Skill has nowhere else to go, creating a Death Sentence at a young age.
'...you can create a thousand arrows, isn't that neat?' Ryoma lit up. 'You can defeat bad guys from behind along with terrifying your enemies into thinking, 'just how many arrows can this guy make?'' Rimuru teased playfully as the kids lit up at the mean-sounding idea.
'Gale's spear will also draw magicules from him with a special something.' Rimuru piped up. 'Can you tell your friends what it is?'
'Yeah, I somehow gained knowledge of techniques in my mind.' Gale croaked out before looking excited. 'I can use up my power too!'
'Gale is basically, a missile or a torpedo when he uses those skills, if Ryoma is a rocket launcher.' Rimuru winked playfully. 'Gale has skills enough to blow up a boulder-sized monster into nothing.'
'What about us?!' Kenya, Chloe and Alice asked Rimuru excitedly.
Kenya got a sword based off of Magic Knight Rayearth, since he favors fire magic with his skills.
Chloe who favors water magic but more talented with a sword, got Sailor Uranus' Space Sword Buster. But with a handle long enough to enable two-handed wielding as Chloe is no Sailor Uranus who can wield it with one hand. She needs years of training for that. But its strange that Chloe doesn't recognize this sword...how about this one?
As for Alice who favors magic? She has a Sailor Moon's kaleidostick making her squeal.
'YOU GOT ME SAILORMOON'S MAGIC WAND!' and BAM! cue tackle attack of joy.
'Gyah!'
'Rimuru-sensei...are you...like us?' Chloe gasped out in wonder with starry eyes and clasped hands. 'Who else would know Sailormoon?!' Shizu would NOT know Sailormoon...she was from a bad time for Japan...World War II. Anime wasn't invented back then yet.
'Speaking of that show, I had a hard time with television with my sister since our favorite programs clash. Sailormoon was at the exact same time as Yaiba in another channel!' Kenya complained with an armfold. 'Who wouldn't know Sailormoon?'
'Probably babies who can't understand shows yet.' Gale stated sheepishly.
'Owowowow...y-yeah, but I'm half-earthling...because I reincarnated here after I died.' said Rimuru, standing up after Alice let go of her. She earned five shocked stares...and Rimuru turned into her Slime Form. 'I was reborn in this world as a Slime.' and she quickly changed back to avoid being seen by other humans. Five pairs of eyes popped out.
'EHHHHHHHHHH?!'
'That sucks!' Kenya howled. 'Any cool form!' he threw his arms up in disbelieving exasperated annoyance. 'ANY! Cool Form! In this freaking world in reincarnating and you ended up with that?! What the hell sensei!' he burst out.
In his office using magic, Yuuki was howling in laughter as the kids' reaction was comedy gold and the one conjuring magic for him sweatdropped.
'Ahahaha, it's why I worked hard to have magic to have a human form...at least as a Slime I was cute.' Rimuru snorted. 'Slimes of this world have no face and no brains, just a blobby ball of boring-ness.' she sighed gloomily. 'By this world's standards I'm a Unique Monster since I'm a slime with a cute face.' the kids sweatdropped. Yeah, Rimuru is indeed, a cute monster... 'Welp, time to go kids! I packed up a lot of supplies in my Item Space, so we can go to Ulgrasia!'
'Kay~!'
xxx
'And away they go.' Yuuki mused as the magic fire of observation was gone. 'Now then, will she actually pull that off?'
'Who knows?' said the elf woman with him. 'The Dwelling of Spirits is as fickle as Ramiris herself. They have little time left before location changes at a drop of a hat.'
'We'll wait and see. I can't wait to hear from Tear too about those matters.'
xxx
The journey was smooth as soon as they're far enough from Ingrassia.
Rimuru had Great Sage unseal her powers, so she can remove the weight of the carriage and make it float a little, to lessen the burden of the horses, and she got them going at full speed, taking occasional breaks for bathroom and of course, giving the horses water and lastly, dinner in their first six hours.
'The trip was pretty fast...at this rate we'll be there in no time!' said Gale happily as Rimuru cooked dinner.
She had created many beings out of Toriko fame. But those that can possibly live in this world realistically, and prepared enough food for the trip.
For monster poultry, she created Five-Tailed Eagle, Hungry-La Bird, Gerolds, Flyer Ducks, and Barags. She created a thousand of each specie and afterwards, had them breed to be prolific in the wild. The Billion Bird, she had to recreate as its 'useful mode' and without the hassle to hatch it. She created Bug Beasts from Toriko to satisfy these birds and created them by the billions, billions of extremely-fertile Sausage and Savorth Worms and bugs like Butt Bugs, Soy Sauce Grasshoppers, and Laver Salt Butterflies large enough to feed them as well as Honeypot Ants and fish...and weak monsters. Her bug creations are all D-Class monster prey that will feed everybody capable of killing them, while the poultry she made are C-Class Monsters whose flavor will improve upon eating their prey.
For meat from mammals, it's Marbled Pig, a herd of it is given as a gift to Gazel to breed and raise. And since her country has Orcs that look more like pigmen, well...and she gifted the White-Haired Cinderella to Blumund to breed as she can't raze a forest to build ranches. She created the Mammoth Bear, and Heavycliff.
For seafood, she created Striped Salmon, Matsusake, Pincer Fish and Star Loach for Freshwater Fish, but large enough to satisfy predators. But for the ocean? She created the Bonito Bush, Seaweed Species, Milk Whale, Great Leg, Skin-Whitening Tuna, Lily, and Rose Oysters and King-Sweet Sea Urchin. But she also brought in from Earth Sakura Ebi, large prawns and other things she could afford in classy Izakayas as her salary was very high. She also created Eels, and edible Reptiles such as Snake Frog, and Galala Gator...but in sizes the Lizardmen Tribe can handle of course...
And in Jura Forest, using Treyni's knowledge of locations, she could create food that grows in specific conditions, other than cultivatable ones.
She created Mushroom Pudding in the plains, as well as Blue Blood Corn, Chocorn and Golden Wheat. For species just to troll with the Eastern Empire unlucky enough to stumble into their territory? Great Stamp Pork out of Hunter x Hunter as well as Red-Haired Pigs and created them by ten thousands. They feed on Golden Wheat and plants but if intruders come? Good luck to them.
In the forests were Cream Mushrooms and Sirloin Mushrooms as well as Juicytake, Rainbow Fruit Trees, Apricotton Tree, Corn Potage Tree, Rose Ham and Rose Meat plants, Mango Karins, Horsetail Cinnamon Sticks, Doctor Aloes, various flavoring herb plants, White Apple Tree, Milk Fruit Tree, Moomoo Tree, and many more in a balance of predator and prey relationships, effectively ending Jura Forest's food issues. The Dryads were amazed with her creating food species left-and right even Veldora said her bringing anime food to life is amazing and he wants some, so she brings food into the Isolation Space...needless to say, Veldora and Ifrit loved it.
She has Heavycliff meat in possession, and fruits to keep the children happy.
'That was yummy!' Alice chimed.
'What meat is that sensei, it must be expensive if its that good!' Kenya licked his fingers before the kids washed their hands by the river.
'It's a monster from Jura Forest.' the kids choked. 'A monster called Heavycliff, a C-Class Aggressor!'
'EHHHH?!'
'Well, its impossible to farm livestock in Jura unless you want the Dryads mad at you, so for meat we rely on seafood and Aggressors.' said Rimuru. 'And they're more delicious than beef, pork and chicken that they're bland in comparison.'
'Whoa, you're probably long used to it.' Alice grimaced. 'How long have you been here?'
'A year and a half now since I was reborn here.' Rimuru looked up at the stars.
'Sensei...do you miss Japan?' Ryoma asked Rimuru. As Rimuru looked at the kids, she knows they clearly miss their parents.
'Yeah. I miss my wacky fun-loving dad. He was the Bokke to mom's Tsukkomi but she was open-minded and understanding.' she began. 'They just weren't happy with what Japan has become, in terms of relationships that I couldn't get married because of a stupid reason.'
'What do you mean?' Gale asked her.
'In Japan, years past Ryoma and Kenya's time, Japan embraced the 'Cute Culture'.' Rimuru told them. 'People pair up now because of looks, but tragedies happen because they chose looks over personality there's dramas left-and-right. In Junior High School all the way to my adulthood, nobody looked my way because I was plain-faced back then.' she sighed. 'They would tell me back in their time, personality matters. After all, who'd want to be with a jerk, right?'
'My parents tried Omiai and it didn't work either and I died unmarried. I guess I was reborn cute here, so at least, I can fulfill my parents' hopes along the way even if they'll never see a grandkid from me.' she chuckled sadly. 'At least my older brother will give them a grandchild...his fiancee is five months pregnant and they're supposed to get married at Christmas. Not gonna see that now, am I?' she sighed. 'I live with my parents as my mom's getting old to do chores and I don't wanna live in an expensive apartment the size of a meat locker...who'll do that now? Mom can still cook, but chores is getting tough on her. I hope my brother hired a part-time maid and thanks to my swanky job, I have a really high Life Insurance, and my family will get equal parts cut from that...'
'Awww...'
'That's what I mostly think, but I know my brother well. He'll do the right thing.' Rimuru said with a strained smile. 'They'll be OK.' she then sighed. 'I know you kids miss home but we're all stuck here. All we can do is make the best of what we have now. And live lives that will make your parents proud even if they can't see your accomplishments here.' she said. 'Earth Society has become materialistic and shallow. The good ol' days your parents look back fondly on, back when friendships truly matter, and falling in love based on how sweet this girl is or how kind and responsible this man is, are long gone.'
'...what's monster culture like in your town?'
'Well, I'll teach you about Jura Forest Culture. Its not what humans believe it's like.' Rimuru laughed.
xxx
Next morning...
There were monster encounters and bandit encounters...
But as training, Rimuru lets the kids handle the low-class threats and bandits...but in stuff beyond their training, she kills with a fingersnap.
'No chant?!' Chloe and Alice's eyes popped out.
'Well, I do have the Chant Annulment skill.' Rimuru grinned. 'It's convenient, and keeps your enemies guessing on what spell you'd use.'
'Awww, wish we can do that.' Chloe sulked.
'Try this: imagine the process of a spell in your head as well as the incantation. Think, but do not say it aloud as you cast magic.' Rimuru taught the girls. 'On our next few beasties. Sometimes, skills are learned if practiced hard enough.'
Actually, with her skill Creator she can do just that for the kids and install them, but she wants them to know the value of hard work and the sense of pride and accomplishment gained afterward.
After a few more fights, the girls yelped.
'S-sensei, I heard a voice just now!' Alice cried in alarm.
'What voice? We're out in the countryside and its just us!' Gale croaked out.
'Yeah, nobody said a thing for seconds after we beat that monster!' Ryoma shuddered, wondering if the girls heard ghosts. Countrysides are often battlegrounds in war, where they are coulda been a massive grave for dead warriors?!
'It's a woman's voice.' said Chloe. 'Mine said, 'Acquisition of Magic Perception: Successful'...'
'Mine said 'Acquisition of Magic Sense: Successful'.' said Alice.
'Those two are important skills for us magic users, alongside Chant Annulment. Three skills we magic users can't do without. Two more and you two will be OK.' Rimuru patted their head. 'But kids...' Rimuru told them grimly. 'You cannot let this be known in school, alright? Or the nations that summoned you will have second thoughts.' she warned. 'Even having Magic Sense alone is valuable. Not even high-ranking military wizards have such an ability, forced to rely on their experience instead.'
The kids gulped.
They were Summoneds, but without skills, thus the people who summoned them threw them to the school until its time for them to die.
But those with skills are trained harshly, and forcefully inducted into the military as powerful weapons of war.
'Do not tell even Chairman Kagurazaka. He's probably magically-bound to tell on you if something special happened for you kids, try as he may to keep it a secret, but magic will force him to talk or his own life will be in danger.'
'Eeep...'
Being known as 'useless kids', this will enable them to withdraw from the school and be adopted by their teacher.
Actually, she has her own reasons for that, aside from a potential legal threat like that.
Talking with him got her unnerved.
His smiles and try as he may to put emotions, it doesn't reach his eyes at all. That means he's faking his feelings and she had Great Sage double-check for her. Thus for the sake of the kids, she'll keep secrets as much as possible.
