After I first finished watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series on Disney Plus, I saw how much justice Malcom Spellman had done for the two main characters with his writing. I felt compelled to take a trip back in time to check in on Bucky between the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.

(AU) The Winter Soldier pulled Captain America from the river and laid him on the bank. But then he did something unsuspected. He sat down.
