"Dungeons. Strange labyrinths that defy the laws of time and space. Within their walls, great treasures of immense value lie in wait for those who are willing to brave the journey into the dark. However, great dangers also await, capable of dealing death to those who come into their territory. As of now, dungeons have begun appearing in every universe, each one more perilous than the last. Their layouts ever changing, their defenses impressive. However, to those who persevere through the challenges, no doubt the treasures of the dungeons will be theirs to claim, along with the glory of exploring the uncharted lands hidden behind their doors."
CP then turned to the four groups gathered in the hall.
"So! Any questions?" the captain asked with a smile.
"Uh...why did you just give that detailed explanation? We all know what a dungeon is." Pit asked.
"It's his thing, don't question it." Alkal said.
"Either way...this dungeon thing is starting to freak out a number of people. We need to hurry and settle it as quickly as possible." Jexi said.
"And there is only one way...good old fashioned exca...wait...where's David's team?" CP asked.
"He went looking for Cheetah and her group since he says Cheetah's skills may come in handy." Jexi said.
"Really? But he's like…" CP said.
"Don't worry about it. If we're going to be raiding a dungeon...you go to the experts." Rainbow said.
"Yeah….I mean...we did just arrive here." Ajna said, showing that the ship was landing in the Town of Tales.
"Oh… very well then." CP said.
They approached the guild where they looked inside and saw a number of the people inside in a rush.
"Whoa...do we really need all those torches?" Ethox asked Theo.
"Of course we do. After all, this is the biggest excavation to rock the worlds since...well ever." Theo said.
"Yeah but it looks like you're taking everything but the kitchen sink." Luz said.
They then saw Gabiru coming out with said sink.
"I have the sink that you asked for." Gabiru said.
"Oh, sonova…" Tanya grumbled.
"*Whistle!*" Ace whistled.
"Oh...hey." Ty said.
"What the heck is going on?" Jet asked.
"Oh, you're never gonna believe this. All of a sudden, multiple dungeons started to pop up in multiple universes and we just landed the contract to excavate every single one." Ty said.
"We believe that. It was on the news too." Lei said.
"Since we got it, we've been packing like crazy." Ivy said. "Seeing as how we have no idea how long we'll be gone."
"No idea is right, you guys are hoarding here." Hope said. "Did Seiya plan out your packing list or something?"
"For once, no, but he offered." Ristarte said. "Luckily, he got turned down."
"Please Hope. Hoarding means we're keeping things stockpiled. Technically, we're cleaning out." Theo said.
"Cleaning out, heck, it's like you guys are moving across the Multiverse!" Mark said. "Wait, getting off-topic. We were here to see if you were up for helping us with these dungeons, but you've already answered that question. So… don't suppose you mind if we tag along?"
"You know, you guys always assume that just cause we're part of an alliance that we'd always be immediately up for whatever adventure you guys are up to." Theo said.
"Well…" Hope said.
"And you would be totally right in this instance...since...we have no ship." Theo said.
"Hang on, don't the Fatebreakers have a ship of their own?" Gemini asked
"The Horizon's not big enough for the whole Mythos Hearts guild." Ethox explained. "Besides, it's getting maintenance right now. It'll be a couple weeks before we get it back."
"Oh. Well, of course you're all welcome aboard the Galaxy King." Double D said before he turned to Jexi, Hope, Ace and Mark. "Unless there are any objections?"
"There were never going to be objections." Jexi said.
"They're our friends so they're welcome aboard anytime." Ace added.
"The Galaxy King welcomes all groups and is their ship as much as it is ours." Hope said.
"Same opinions as above." Mark said. "Welcome aboard, Mythos Hearts."
"Okay, before we head off to the first dungeon, do we need to pick anyone up from the other branch locations?" Hope asked.
"No. Think we're good. Let's go!" Theo said as they hurried the groups into the ship as it took off.
On the Galaxy King…
"Okay...so where to go first?" Hope asked.
"Good question. Hmm...gotta be somewhere that could possibly be easy to clear. Or at least sounds like it but really it's difficult." Theo said.
"What about the Equestria Universe? I think they know where that dungeon is located." Sunset said.
"Yeah, that one seemed really important to Princess Twilight and her friends. As soon as it appeared, she mentioned something about "The Pillars of Equestria" and then they just took off." Steven said.
"Yeah, none of us have seen them since the TV announcement." Eddy said. "I mean, they did take a comm, so we've been calling them, but it's been Twilight's assistant picking up."
"We'd better make sure they're doing alright then." Mark said.
"Yeah...let's go." Starlight said.
They quickly made their way to the Equestria Universe and landed in a vast field.
"Good to be back...huh…" Starlight said. "Still human."
"It's 'cause we didn't pass through the portal." Sunset said.
"I think the Human 6 should stay behind while we're here. It'd be confusing having them around." Hope said.
"Uh...Hope." Jexi said, pointing to the group he mentioned having already left.
"Well, nevermind then." Mark said.
'Besides, we've had them together before and it's never been a problem." Jexi said.
"Yeah, that's true." Hope said. "So… anybody know what these Pillars are?"
"Could they have something to do with the Mane 6's Elements of Harmony?" Al asked.
"Maybe." Mark said. "I've listened to a lot of Twilight's talks about stories in her world, and I mean a lot, but she never talked about these Pillars. Maybe we'll learn more when we go to the dungeon. Where is it again?"
"Uh...I think it's there." Cobalt said, pointing to a sunny little flower field.
"Aw...that isn't so…" Fluttershy said.
"No wait...I had the directions mixed up. It's actually over there." Cobalt said, pointing to a barren looking place.
"Yeah, that makes more sense." Emo said.
"Well, should we head straight for the dungeon?" Lancer asked.
"That...was the plan." Ranma said.
"Yeah, the Mane 6 are probably already inside."
"That doesn't matter. We're clearing this either way. Now let's go." Theo said.
