"So if we're doing this right...next one will either be water or earth." Hope said. "Yeah...probably earth next."
"The Cardinal Virtue of Justice, Iustitia. Also known as the Giver of Life." Simon said.
"Justice and a giver of life…" Uriel growled.
"Are...you all right?" Adora asked.
"Sorry. But I don't do well when hearing that J word." Uriel said.
"Funny, a friend of ours feels the same way whenever that word is mentioned." Emil said.
"Hey, Uriel… we've probably gotten off on the wrong foot with you before." Hope said. "I understand you want to destroy this dungeon. This place looks heavenly on the surface, but from what we've seen earlier, I think something sinister is lurking behind it. Don't you agree?"
"Yes. This layout is clearly an illusion made by whoever rules this building. Made by man's thoughts on what heaven may look like to them." Uriel said. "This is not exactly a hellscape but this is certainly not paradise either. Lucifer would say this is a neutral space for angels and demons."
"In other words... This is a location that exists between heaven and hell. A Purgatory Zone." Hope guessed.
"Actually, there used to be something like that between the gate to the Demon Universe and the heavens of the Sky Universe. It was called Eden. Unfortunately it was lost to history ages ago." Uriel said.
"That's pretty interesting." Kendo said.
"You know, we've actually met Lucifer and another Archangel before." Hope said. "Lucifer used to travel with me for a time. And we met this guy named Michael."
"Nice to hear he's doing well. Lucifer I mean." Uriel said. "Hard to believe it's been so long since he became fallen." she said, blushing a bit.
"Ooooh, do I detect feelings of romance for Lucifer?" Perfuma asked.
"What? No! Don't be ridiculous! We're just good friends!" Uriel said completely flustered. "Still we miss him everyday. Me, Michael, Raphael and Gabriel. But...I miss him the most. If I hadn't fallen for Justice's flattery, he wouldn't have had to…"
"Lucifer made his choice and you made yours. Simple as that." Hope said. "So why don't you see him then?"
"I'm an angel. Travel to the Demon Universe is forbidden." Uriel said. "It's just the way the world works."
"I...I see." Hope said as they soon approached the next of the Auditio.
"The airbase again, except…" Simon said as there was a large hole in the center, as floating out of it was another humanoid figure with a multitude of plant tentacles rising up with him as they had humanoid faces. "Iustitia."
Iustita thrusted his hand out as the plant tendrils launched at the group, making them dodge as everyone was being chased by them.
Ethox whacked a few aside with his Keyblade before pointing it at the Giver of Life.
"What? No friendly greeting or monologue?" Ethox asked. "I guess you just like to cut straight to business, huh?"
"That's fine with me, it was annoying hearing the other two flap their lips on and on." Simon said, readying Kafka. "As a certain Godslayer and Devil Hunter always say, let's rock, baby!"
Iustita lashed out with its tentacles as the group fought with the angels' extensions.
"Let's burn down this overgrown hedge." Natsu said. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu said hitting it as well as lighting it on fire.
Iustita was able to prevent its main body from getting set ablaze, but the same couldn't be said for its tentacles. That didn't matter to him though as he spawned burs on two of them and started swinging them around, smashing about at the group.
"Damn, for a husk of an angel he sure knows how to adapt!" Vashyron said.
"If brute force won't work, then let's try something different." Tanya said. "O Lord, Guide my hand as I smite this false prophet of your name."
Invoking the power of her Type 95, Tayna gained a big burst of speed and started flying like an ace pilot. Iustita had a hard time hitting her because of her smaller body and blinding speed.
"Yeah! Take 'em down, Tanya!" Ethox called.
"Hey, I'm not gonna let her have all the fun!" Legolia said, jumping onto one of the vines that weren't on fire as she slid down one and shot a Frost arrow right at the Cardinal Virtue of Justice. It hit dead on as Iustita missed Legolia, but didn't notice Tanya was right behind him.
"Where are you looking, angel? Your real threats right here!" Tanya said, firing off a powerful magic blast from her rifle that bore a hole straight through Iustita's Stomach.
Iustita looked behind himself as he finally spoke.
"Well done…. It was just as your tales say." Iustita said in a childlike tone. "For a devil who is blessed with the powers of god, your strength is magnificent."
"So, you can speak after all? I'm almost flattered." Tanya said.
"Yes...but time...has ended." lustita said as a skeletal arm rose up as it dragged him down as well.
"If he was going to be dragged away anyhow, what was even the point of him speaking up?" Kaibara asked.
"We're getting closer to the big boss. We only have one more of these guys to take down." Bakugo said.
"Hopefully by taking him down, we then learn the truth of who is really behind all of this." Hope said. "And to an extent, save the Sky Universe from being destroyed."
"Yeah, we're nearing the climax now." Simon said.
