They ascended up the stairs, going higher and higher into the sky until they reached a vast field.
"What is this place?" Sheer said as they looked around, seeing nothing but grass and a single tree.
"Is this...the Garden of Eden?" Simon asked.
"But...that's impossible...Eden was lost long ago." Uriel said.
"INDEED...EDEN WAS LOST. BUT...HERE IT STANDS." the voice said as one of the fruits from the tree rotted away to reveal an eye looking right at them. "I KNOW THIS...BECAUSE I AM EDEN! THE FIRST PARADISE!"
"Inconceivable...it really is Eden itself." Sheer said.
"So this whole dungeon is… alive?!" Ethox asked.
"That is insane!" Al said.
"DUNGEON? YOU HAVE BEEN TRAVERSING THROUGH MY ACTUAL BODY!" Eden spoke as the four skeletal arms rose all around the tree. Each grasped the land as the tree's wood and leaves fell away to reveal a mass of bones and vines with the eye held between two skulls.
"What the hell are you?" Saki asked.
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU...I WAS THE FIRST PARADISE...BUT NOW...MY BODY STANDS...CORRUPTED BECAUSE MANKIND CHOSE TO ABANDON THIS PLACE TO OPPOSE DIVINITY." Eden said. "SO...I SHALL RIP APART THE SKIES AND BRING JUDGMENT DOWN ON ALL OF YOU!"
"Heh." Simon said. "Mankind simply chose to follow their own paths and live a mortal life, and you let your own hatred drive you into this state. If you think you can bring judgement down on us and our homes in this universe, think again." he said as his left eye glowed and released an intense pressure as a magic aura surged around him.
"YOU DARE INTIMIDATE ME WITH MAGIC?! FOR YOUR ARROGANCE...I SHALL SEE YOU ALL ERASED LIKE THOSE FAILURES WHO CALL THEMSELVES ANGELS!" Eden bellowed.
"You may think those four Angels were failures, and some people even believe them to be fakes…" Hope said. "But in the world they come from, they're definitely real! Sure they're a bit evil, but they carry out their deeds dutifully! And I won't let you destroy this universe that so many call their home, and even what Lucifer used to call his home too!"
"PERISH!" Eden called out as it raised one arm and attempted to crush them only to dodge.
"There's no way you'll be allowed to ruin all this...even if you were the first paradise." Uriel said, drawing her blade as she severed one of the four arms.
"You will not erase Devaloka that Mastemon vowed to protect to the very end!" Tsuki said, slicing off another with her dual scythe.
"This place is nothing but an endless sky full of unexplored wonders. We won't let you destroy it!" Riolu said, taking out another arm using Focus Blast.
"If you can't accept that people have free will, then you don't deserve to exist!" Mark said, grabbing the final arm and pulling it off. "Go to Hell!"
"And now it's sayonara for you." Simon said. "TELOC VOVIM A GRAA ORS TABA ORD AVAVAGO!" he said as his chants echoed throughout the field as appearing behind him was Queen Sheba herself, she soon kissed her right fist as a heart popped up before launching it straight at Eden, however, the effect did not happen. "What?"
"DEMON...BE OBLITERATED!" Eden called out as it fired a beam from its eye as Sheba faded away. "ALL OF YOU WILL…." it cried out before Sheer plunged an arm into its eye. "ARGH!"
"Simon...Eden has no soul...so Sheba won't work. I suggest giving him a good stomping...quite literally." Sheer said.
"In that case. PDEE BARMA!" Simon chanted as Madama Butterfly appeared and began tap dancing Eden's eye before finishing with a powerful heel stomp.
"Grrr..THIS...IS NOT RIGHT...I AM EDEN...I AM THE FIRST PARADISE...I THOUGHT...HUMANITY WANTED PEACE." Eden growled as the place started to crumble.
"Don't go on thinking you know humanity so well, this is the price you pay for your arrogance." Simon said.
"HAHAHAA….IN THE END...SOMEONE UNHOLY GOES AND USES MY OWN WORDS AGAINST ME." Eden said laughing as a golden fruit fell from its branches.
"We'll take this." Simon said, picking it up.
"GO AHEAD…" Eden said. "BUT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE, THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE ME...PARADISES GIVEN LIFE OUT THERE IN THE WORLDS. SOME WILL CAUSE MANKIND HARM, OTHERS WILL LIVE AMONG THEM. WHAT THEY DO IS THEIR CHOICE." Eden said as its body began to fall apart. "ADAM...EVE...I AM...COMING...HOME." Eden spoke before it completely vanished.
The heroes were able to escape the Sky Palace before it completely collapsed due to Eden's disappearance, retreating to the Galaxy King.
"Whew… that was crazy." Hope said.
"But at least we got something good out of it." Simon said, holding up the Golden Fruit before walking over to Uriel and handing it to her. "Sorry for the hostility earlier, I think this will be safer in your hands."
"Thank you. This fruit will be planted to bring life to a new paradise...one that may surpass Eden and always be remembered." Uriel said, taking it as she took off into the sky. "Also...thank you all for destroying that place." she said before going out of sight.
"Y'know, she was straightforward… but in the end, she was nice." Hope said.
"Gotta admit, she wasn't that bad." Simon said.
"Still, I can't believe what Eden told us with his last words. That there are planes of existence that have lives like us." Kendo said.
"Hopefully we never have to encounter them." Jexi said. "Either way, that's two dungeons taken down."
"Now there's only 26." Ace said.
"Well, David and Cheetah have to be ready by now, so… what universe would they want to go to first?" Ethox asked.
"How about we meet up somewhere familiar? Oh...we can arrange a meeting at our base back near Pokemon Square." Totodile said.
"Hmm...it is pretty peaceful there. That could work." Pikachu said.
"To the Realm of Exploration we go then!" CP said.
"Aw man, this is gonna feel like a homecoming for you guys." Hope said to Dan, Aelita and Luffy.
"Not really. It's a different part of that world." Aelita said. "Least this time we won't turn into Pokemon when we arrive."
"Yeah...so off we go." Meowth said as they took off.
