"So...let me see if I have everything straight. Other worlds...exist." Pyrrha said.
"Yes. That's right." Jaune said.
"And this is a united group that travels around to these other worlds to investigate them?" Pyrrha said.
"More or less, depending on who you ask." Zamazenta said.
"In a way it's quite exciting." Mari said.
"And right now, you're inspecting dungeons to take them down so people will stop freaking out." Pyrrha said.
"In a nutshell." Axl said.
"Huh...I'd say this is all crazy if I wasn't revived from the dead inside of a crypt." Pyrrha said.
"Sorry about that." Al said nervously. "But hey! It's really cool to have you with us."
"Why is this one apologizing?" Pyrrha asked.
"Team habit of theirs." Nora said. "And...you get to raid the dungeons with us! Oh...this is so exciting!"
"So where are we going next?" Theo asked.
"Like Moltar suggested, we're going to the Flame Universe next...where fire is supposed to be at its strongest peak." Robin said.
"A flame dungeon huh?" Vargas said as he looked down in thought.
"Apparently the dungeon has been spotted in an area known as The Wastes." Ainz said. "It's abandoned and no one has been there in ages."
"So there shouldn't be any worry from any locals. That's good to know." Jexi said.
"Yeah, and I'm curious to see what it's like." Vargas said.
"I know what you mean, this place is what I'm talking about." Kokoro said.
"Well, maybe if you're a dragon or fire-user, you might like this place." Francisca said.
"I have a way to keep the rest of us cool while we explore." Selena said.
They soon landed in the fiery wastes where they saw a molten cavern standing there.
"Safe to say this is the place." Sabo said.
"Talk about Deja Vu." Al said. "Kinda reminds me of Alverstone."
"No sense putting it off." Mark said. "Selena, whatever you need to do to provide protection for us non-fire aligned members, go ahead."
"Diamond Dust Shroud." Selena said, holding Lexida up as white glittering snow surrounded the group.
"Oh...nice and...melty?" Lucy said as the ice started melting almost immediately.
"Geez… Is it really that hot here? Oh, right… Flame Universe. It's in the name." David said.
"Even Diamond Dust is affected by it." Selena said.
"Besides, we've been through volcanoes before and we handled them just as fine." Mayumi said.
"From the info we gathered, this place is called the Labyrinth of the Burning Warrior. It's supposed to hold someone who was supposedly the strongest fire user in this universe." Subaru said.
"Kinda reminds me of Lava." Vargas said.
"Come on. Let's go on in." Natsu said. "I'm all fired up."
"Hold on. We're coming." Jexi said as they were about to enter before they noticed something.
"Huh...whoa!" Meowth said as they saw a small white fox lying nearby.
"What in the name of…" Kurochi said as he started to approach the fox.
"It's an Alolan Vulpix." Riolu said.
"What's an Alolan Vuplix doing here? She's an Ice-type, she won't last long out here." Kurochi said as he lifted her up in his arms.
"My...friend." it muttered weakly. "My friend is...still...inside…"
"Your friend? What do they look like?" Himeno asked.
"They're the same as me. But...they have orange fur instead of white...and they use fire." the Alolan Vulpix said.
"Yep. That's a Kantonian Vulpix, alright." David said. "Look, it's not safe for you out here." he looked to the group. "I'll bring this one to the habitat to recover and catch up to you later."
"No...take her to our ship. There's a glacier there where she can rest and recover." Riolu said. "You came cause you heard about the dungeons didn't you?"
"We thought...it would be fun." she said.
"And now she's probably off on her own, so scared and alone." Tear said.
"Okay...the expedition has now turned into a rescue mission." Totodile said.
"We have to find the Kantonian Vulpix and bring her back out, quickly." Zamazenta said.
"Yes, we don't know how far down she may have gone, so we can't tell what she might be struggling against." Cheetah said. "Ishihara, take that Alolan Vulpix back with you and help her recover."
"You got it, I'll catch up with you guys later." David said as Kurochi handed the Alolan Vulpix to him.
"Okay...let's go." Natsu said.
And so they proceeded into the fiery depths of the dungeon, not knowing what flaming dangers lurked inside.
