They continued to climb the tower before reaching the next floor where two spearmen waited. To their surprise, the spearmen were Yukimura and Zhao Yun.
"Zhao Yun and Yukimura. Somehow, I'm not surprised." Cheetah said.
"It's been some time." Zhao Yun said. "We had hoped you would make it this far."
"Your climb is almost finished...however...you need to try and overcome us." Yukimura said.
"We understand." Miriam said, materializing Grand Izayoi.
"Then do not keep us waiting." Yukimura said.

Both spearmen surrounded Miriam as they clashed with her and Gran Izayoi.
"Sanetzuzan!" Miriam called, striking three times, a kanji appearing for each strike.
"Such a powerful warrior." Zhao Yun said.
"But we can overcome it." Yukimura said.
"Uh, guys, is this okay?" Adora asked as Miriam continued to fight. "I mean, Miriam's fighting two on one with two of the greatest spearmen in Asian History."
"Not exactly. She has Grand Izayoi." Sectonia said.
"I would have to agree. After all, much like the original Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, Grand Izayoi is a sentient weapon." Cheetah said. "As such, it has a will of its own and tends to act independently from its wielder."
"Uh… Doesn't that make it very dangerous, like you said back at the hot springs in Etheria?" Sachiko asked.
"Supposedly, but as I also mentioned, there is one surefire way to ensure a sentient weapon doesn't overtake its own wielder." Cheetah said. "And that is if the wielder's will is stronger than the weapon itself."
"And in Miriam's case, she's the stronger one, she developed great wisdom through the trials she experienced, despite being physically 18." Al said.
Both Yukimura and Zhao Yun continued to battle Miriam without letting up once as she was backed to a corner.
"These two really are Asia's greatest warriors." Miriam said.
"You are more than welcome to surrender if you so desire." Zhao Yun said.
"However, real warriors never retreat from battle." Yukimura said.
"I won't surrender either. My friends are counting on me." Miriam said. "And I made a promise to find someone Al and I lost. Jinrai." she said, holding Grand Izayoi in a sheathed stance before disappearing as she soon reappeared behind them and flicked Grand Izayoi's blade as she then sheathed it as a sword slice appeared over the two warriors and lotus petals floated down.
"Whoa...now that is amazing." Adora said as the two warriors vanished with the door opening up.
"Thank you both for the battle." Miriam said, dismissing Grand Izayoi.
"Well...looks like we're almost done." Mark said. "One or two floors left before we claim our prize."
"And it only means the warriors we face are only going to be stronger. We must be wary of anyone we might face." Cheetah said.
"Just the thought of it makes me feel excited." Rhatla said.
"Indeed...let's not keep them waiting." Benimaru said.
