They continued travelling through the tower before finally reaching the top floor. There, inside a glass case was a suit of armor.
"I suppose that must be the prize." Erza said.
"That armor must be a pretty powerful set. Could come in handy." Hope said.
"It won't be ours for free though. We have to face one final challenge." Necroapache reminded the group.
"Big guy's right. I wonder who's guarding the armor?" Ultra asked.
"You really shouldn't have asked that." a voice said as appearing from the shadows were two men.
"Tadakatsu and Lu Bu!" Jesse said.
"I figured we'd run into them eventually. These two are walking combat situations." David said.
"Yeah, that pressure from Lu Bu is still overwhelming." Saki said. "Someone...needs to face them." she said, shaking a bit.
"I can understand your nervousness. Against Lu Bu, one mistake is practically a death sentence." David said. "Back then, I wasn't sure if I could take him. But now…"
"Hold on. Even with your increased strength, it would still be foolish to face Lu Bu alone." Leopardmon said.
"Plus there is Tadakatsu who stands beside him." Ichiro said.
"A clash against the mightiest warriors in history, hm? Sounds interesting." Zamazenta said.
"Are you sure you want this bout, Zamazenta?" Zacian asked. "If that is the case...I have no choice but to battle by your side." Zacian said.
"Very well...come face us, beasts." Lu Bu said.
"Go for it, you two! You got this!" David cheered.
(Cue: Lu Bu's Theme- Dynasty Warriors)
Both sword and shield Pokemon fought against Tadakatsu and Lu Bu as their spears clashed against the weapons of these two pokemon.
"You're strong…." Lu Bu said as he pushed against Zamazenta. "But you are not as strong as the Mighty Demon." he said, striking against Zamazenta, managing to chip some of his mane.
"Not bad… You really are as fierce as legends tell, to be able to chip away at me like this." Zamazenta said.
"This one is just as formidable." Zacian said clashing blades with Tadakatsu.
"Well...we'll just have to power through." Zamazenta said as the two Pokemon continued to battle against the two warriors.
"Wow...this is a lot more evenly matched than we thought." Adora said.
"Two great warriors of their countries against The Heroes of Galar." Hope said. "Really don't know who will come out on top."
Both wolf-like Pokemon continued to battle the two warriors, quickly losing stamina as it seemed like the latter was barely breaking a sweat.
"This keeps up, these two will take us down." Zamazenta said.
"Then we'll have to finish this in a single blow." Zacian said.
The two wolf Pokemon stood side by side as the two warriors advanced.
"Let's go! Behemoth Bash!" Zamazenta said charging in.
"Behemoth Blade!" Zacian called out.
Both of their attacks clashed with the weapons of Tadakatsu and Lu Bu as they tried to force their way through. After some pushing, the weapons of Tadakatsu and Lu Bu eventually broke as the two Pokemon were able to push through as the two warriors in question vanished.
"Whew… That was pretty rough…" Zacian said.
"Yeah...we almost fell to their blades." Zamazenta said.
"But in the end...we somehow managed to overcome the odds." Zacian said. "Now...as for our prize…" he said, looking to the armor.
"This is a nice suit of armor." Yaoyorozu said as the glass protecting it vanished.
"Guess this means we can take it now." Erza said.
"Let's see here…" Pearl said, looking over the armor and the platform supporting it until he spotted a plaque. "Ah, here we go! 'This armor protected the first warrior to fight in this universe. You who have earned the right to wear it, may it protect you until you hold your weapon no more.'"
"Cool." Hope said. "What an amazing treasure." he said as they took the armor as the tower began to shake. "Oh boy...and that's our cue."
The group quickly exited the dungeon before it could disappear, armor in hand as well.
"Well that was pretty exciting. We were able to face a few old friends, came face to face with a legend, and acquired a new set of armor." Bow said.
"Yeah, all in all it was a good one." Simon said as his COMs device rang. "It's Nero." he said, putting it on speaker.
"Guys, it's Nero, something big popped up near Redgrave City, get over here as soon as you can." Nero said.
"You just said the magic words." David said.
"Here we go again…" Cheetah said musingly with a bit of a smile.
"But first, we should get Zamazenta outfitted with his new armor." David said.
"Ooo, you're getting new equipment! Nice!" Ethox said to the shield Warrior Pokemon.
"How would it affect Zamazenta, though? I mean, the Rusted Shield is what gave him the form he has now." Mayumi said.
"I can come up with a few ways, actually." Cheetah said.
"It's not going to hurt, is it?" Zamazenta asked.
"It shouldn't. It is just armor after all." Miles said.
"Alright. Let's get you suited up so we can rock and roll." David said.
"Depends on what he refers to as rocking and rolling." Zamazenta whispered to Cheetah.
"He'll be in his element on this one, I can tell that for sure." Aoesia said.
"Indeed. It'll certainly be exciting." Simon said, holding V's book.
"The Demon Universe...it's been through alot recently." Sheer said.
"Yes, we have heard." Cheetah said. "With half of the Demon Lords dead, the Demon Universe has been rebuilding itself quite a lot, especially when it came to successors."
"Successors? Oh… Right, Astaroth mentioned something about that back in the IG-3, didn't he?" Mayumi asked.
"Yes. Leviathan's is Lilith and Belphegor's is Belial." Sheer said.
"Those two really sound like demon names, that's for sure." David said.
"I've met with Lilith before. She's often referred to as the idol of the Demon Universe despite being a mischievous little scamp." Sheer said.
"Here's to hoping she's friendly." Mayumi said.
"Also, you should know the wanted system there has been permanently revoked." Sheer said.
"Revoked?" David asked.
"All the demon lords who supported it are either dead or resigned. There's no support for it...so no reason for anyone to have a wanted status." Sheer said.
"At least we won't have to worry about targets on our backs. At least from the commonfolk." David said.
"At least we know Asmodeus was never a supporter of that whole thing." Sachiko said.
"Still, Cheetah is right. With half of the original Demon Lords dead, society in the Demon Universe had to build itself back up again." Belladonna said.
"Yes...so the only danger we'll have to worry about is what lies inside the dungeon in the Demon Universe." Theo said.
"Well, I'm still gonna cut loose regardless, so… Let's rock." David said.
