Moody Family home, Scotland, Near Strontian Village, 6/25/1997, 14:00

Harry sat in his room going over chapter three in the book 'organizing and protecting your memories'. He basically had to go into his emotionless state and bring memories he wanted protected and imagine storing them In something strong and safe in his mind, kind of like a mind palace.

Harry had thought of his vault at Gringotts as the perfect place to create in his mind palace, a steel door set into a small opening composed of hard stone walls, he was currently bringing forth every memory he had of the Dursleys and storing them in a metal trash can inside of the the vault, he was going to voluntarily surpass those memories, after All nothing he ever wanted to remember happened in loving the Dursleys.

He was almost done when someone knocked on the door to his room.

Slamming the door shut on the vault in his mind, he opened his eyes and walked to his bedroom door and saw Susan was standing there looking nervous.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Susan asked hesitantly.

"Sure, come in.' Harry said holding open his door and letting her in.

Susan entered the room and took a seat on his bed and Harry stood facing her leaning against the door, patiently waiting for her to speak.

'How did it feel to kill Nott?" She blurted her question out.

"You mean do I feel better having avenged Tracey?" Harry asked shrewdly.

"Yes do you feel any better for killing her murderer?" She asked.

"I didn't feel any better or worse, I just felt indifferent. Nott was just the tool in her murder, I want the man that gave the order to kill her." Harry said with a hint of venom in his voice.

"I want my parents killers dead as well, and I want to be the one to do it." Susan said with a determined glint in her eye.

"I know what you mean, Voldemort has taken my parents my childhood and last summer his number one follower killed my god father in front of me, I want them all dead." Harry said sadly.

"I'm the only Bones left, in the first war they killed my uncle Edgar and his wife and kids, last summer the killed my Aunt Amelia and just over a week ago they took my Parents from me. I want every last one of them dead." She said viciously.

"We'll have our chance Susan, just stick with the training and we will take them down." Harry assured her.

"How can you be so sure?" Susan asked."

"Because, we've got some of the best fighters in the wizarding world training us. I will kill as many as I can even if I have to follow them to the grave." Harry said with conviction.

"Well hopefully it won't come to that." Susan said hopefully.

"I don't think it will, after all you've got my back." Harry said with a grin.

"Thanks Harry, I'm glad you've got such faith in me." she said gratefully.

"Yeah, no problem." Harry told her.

"Well, I'll get out of your hair thanks again Harry." She said getting up.

Harry moved away from the door and watched her leave before laying back down, he definitely understood her need for vengeance, he wanted the same thing. Shaking his head he closed his eyes and got back to ordering his memories again.

He quickly finished pushing every memory he ever had of the Dursley's in the garbage bin and shoved in into a compartment in the stone wall, inside his vault mind palace and made rock form back over the hole encased it completely in the rock wall, completely hiding the memories even from himself.

He was about to start on his first year memories when he was disturbed again, this time by Lupin shaking his shoulder.

Harry's eyes snapped open and he looked at Lupin questioningly.

"Dinners ready, I tried knocking but you didn't answer. What were you doing any way?" Remus asked curiously.

"Occlumency, I was organizing my memories." Harry told him as he got up and stretched.

"That's really good, how's the leaf by the way?" Lupin asked sounding impressed.

"Well it ruins the taste of pretty much anything I eat, but it keeps my mouth from drying out when I run. So I guess it's a mixed bag." Harry answered thoughtfully.

"Well come on, I made steak and kidney pie." Lupin said cheerfully.

"What do I care, it'll just taste like mandrake leaf." Harry grumbled.

"That's the spirit now come on." Lupin said.

Harry rolled his eyes and followed the over enthusiastic werewolf to the kitchen.

Sitting down Harry loaded his plate full of food, he may not be able to fully enjoy the food, but he needed the calories with all the running and what not he did daily.

Harry and Remus would take turns making dinner since Mooney visited everyday and knew Harry and himself were of the people in the house that could boil water and not burn it, Moony had agreed to cook them meals everyother day.

Moody was already seated and eating quietly, Susan came in not long after Harry had started eating. when she took a seat Moody put his fork down cleared his throat getting everyone's attention.

"Remus and I have to go to an Order meeting tonight, you two are to stay in the house. And so help me if I come back and find you in bed together I'll kill you both Moody." said bluntly.

Harry who had been taking a bite of his food inhaled a chunk of beef and it was only Lupin's throat clearing spell that prevented Harry from choking to death.

Harry glared at Moody through watery eyes, "What the hell is wrong with you Moody, you could have killed me." Harry asked.

"I was a teenager once boy, I know how they think. Their like rabbits." Moody said unrepentantly.

Susan blushed scarlet and Lupin finally gave up holding in his own laughter and let out a great belly laugh.

Harry just scowled at the pair of them and went back to his food, that was one thing he was definitely not interested in right now. Not to say Susan wasn't good looking or anything, he just didn't want to be involved with anyone, not after what happened the last time he got involved with someone. However brief that may have been it had left a mark, and he couldn't bear the thought of that happening to someone else.

So he had the night off to finish his occlumency, he was quite happy about that. He hurriedly finished his dinner and returned to his room, then set an alarm so he would be able to cast the animagus spell at sundown.

He made it through his first and second year, turning the memories for each year into a mental representation of books, for the first year he labeled the book 'year one.'

The second one was labeled 'year two' he had created an impenetrable steel box in his mind vault and stacked the books inside of it, but before he could get to 'year three' his alarm went off.

Pulling from his mind he grabbed his wand and cast 'amato animo animato animagus' on himself, he had twenty-five days until he was done with the leaf, and he couldn't wait for it to be over with.

Stripping down to his boxers he laid down under the covers and set to work on the last four years worth of memories, he had already been thinking more clearly since he started practicing occlumency, spells come to him quicker and he was able to bring some of the new ones he had been practicing off on his first try. The book mentioned one of the side effects of practicing occlumency was clarity of the mind, so he wasn't completely surprised.

Harry made it to his fourth year before succumbing to sleep, drifting into a peaceful dreamless slumber was definitely another benefit of Occlumency he quite enjoyed.

Moody's House, 6/26/1997, 05:00

Harry woke up on his own this morning, he quickly pulled on his workout clothes and made his way down to the 'training grounds' as he had taken to calling them in his head. He had started his run and just enjoyed the early morning chill on his skin, the morning runs had grown on him. He completed his twenty laps fairly quickly and decided he to add a few more he only stopped running when it was time to perform the animagus spell at sun up.

Harry was going through his calisthenics when Susan finally came down to the track and started her own run.

Harry finished his workout by the time Susan was halfway through her twenty and headed back up to the house, it was his day to cook breakfast so he figured he would have it ready by the time she came in, he went and got that started after a quick shower.

When Susan came and sat at the table fourth-five minutes later, he had already plated up four plates of bacon, eggs and toast and set out the juicejug and cups.

Harry sat down after she had started eating and asked the question that was on both of their minds. "Where the hell is everybody?"

"i don't know but I don't think they came home last night." Susan said worriedly.

"I think your right about that, I would have heard them come in, Moody's wooden leg is pretty loud." Harry agreed.

"Do you think they're okay." She asked.

"I hope so, I also hope there wasn't another attack. That's the only reason I can think as to why they didn't come home last night." Harry said

"Well do you want to take turns practicing dodging drills after breakfast?" She asked.

"Yeah that way they can't bitch about us slacking off, when they get back." Harry said with a grin.

Susan nodded and they both dug into their breakfast and ate in silence, they finished up quickly and both prepared for the next exercise of the morning.

Harry placed a warming charm on the plates he had for Remus and Moody, before the two of them headed back out to the training grounds to take turns firing spells at each other.

Harry did well dodging her spells, she was slower at firing spells than than Lupin, but she was really good at dodging his own spells and Harry was only able to land two one on her leg and the other to her stomach.

Harry got tired of the dodging excercises and decided to attempt a technique that Lupin had been talking about since they started training, spell swatting.

Harry had read the theory behind it in one of the defense books in Moody's study and had been itching to give it a try.

He called a halt to their dodging exercises, they had been practicing for over an hour so he figured they could learn something new, since their instructor didn't bother to show up.

"I'm going to try something new, do you remember Lupin saying something about spell swatting?" Harry asked.

"Yeah Alistor swatted your spell and hit me in our first lesson, I'd like to learn that too" Susan said eagerly.

"Fire a spell at me and I'll see if I can swat it away, I've been reading up on the theory, but I can't practice without a partner." Harry told her.

"Sure, should I aim at your wand. too make it easier?" She asked.

"No just fire at me like you would normally." Harry answered and tried to prepare for her incoming spell.

Susan nodded and cast a nonverbal stinging hex at Harry's chest, Harry raised his wand and willed a tiny reflective shield to forms on the tip of it.

There was no incantation to swatting spells, it would slow you down if there was. You just had to focus your intent to reflect the spell coming at you away from you, the book said over time this would become reflexive and you would be able to do it without thought.

Harry saw the spell coming at him and tried to intercept it's path but just barely missed, the stinging hex struck him in the forearm.

Harry hissed in pain but looked at Susan and said "Again."

It took him over a dozen tries to finally swat a spell away, but he figured out that you have to time it just right and have the very tip of your wand touch the incoming spell for it to work correctly, wait to late and you reflect it into yourself.

He kept practicing taking more stinging hexes to his arm and chest though he was deflecting them with more consistency, when Susan called a stop to his practicing.

"It's almost lunch time, and your arm is starting to swell pretty badly' she said.

She walked over to him and brought her wand out and started casting the stinging hex counter curse multiple times on his arm and chest, Harry watched as his arm deflated before his eyes and felt the tightness in his chest recede, he nodded in appreciation.

"Thanks." Harry said with a smile.

"No problem, you can't fix me lunch with a swollen hand." she smirked before leading them back to the house.

Upon entering the kitchen the smell of French onion soup hit their nostrils. Lupin was at the stove cooking, and Tonks and Moody were sat at the table looking pretty rough.

Harry and Susan took a seat at the table, and Harry looked from one to the other, they both looked like they had been up all night and moody was sporting a gash on his left cheek. Tonks just had singe marks on her robes and her hair was a wreck, not that Harry was stupid enough to comment on that.

"Where the hell have you been?" Harry asked bluntly.

"Longbottom manor, they were under attack last night. Those death eater bastards couldn't, even break through the wards around the property. We had a nice scuffle with 'em and I know for sure two of them are dead." Moody said happily.

"Yeah but we also lost Elphias Doge and Hestia Jones was badly injured and will be in Mungos for a week at least." Tonks said sadly.

"What have you to been up to all morning?" Moody asked suspiciously.

"P.T, breakfast and spell dodging exercises." Harry listed off rolling his eyes at Moody's insinuations.

"It's almost as if you so don't need me anymore." Tonks said dramatically.

"Nonsense you are a very valuable member of our team, you provide something very important to my training." Harry said very seriously.

"What?" Asked Tonks hopefully.

"A great view when I run behind you in the morning." Harry said matter-of-factly.

Tonks snorted. "Your picking up my bad habits Potter." She said amusedly.

Remus just shook his head and said. "That was a Sirius answer if I ever heard one, lunch is ready by the way."

They all dug into soup and fresh baked bread and ate in silence, the adults absorbed in what happened last night and the teens were wondering if Neville was alright.

When the soup was finished and the bowls were all cleared away, Moody looked at Harry and Susan and said. "The Order will be moving it's headquarters here, starting next week we will be having a few more guests."

"Okay, this won't be the first time I've lived in a house that was an active headquarters." Harry said questioningly..

"You two are moving to a camp down near the training grounds, I've got some garrison sized Wizard tents from my Auror days. For now I'm just setting two up one for the boys and one for the ladies." Moody finished.

So your kicking us out?" Susan asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Aye, not even the Ministry has this place on record I made sure of it. I'm bringing in Bill Weasley to help me cast a fidelius charm over the house, and another one over the camp. But quite a few order members will be staying here full time so we need the room" Moody explained.

"Just how many are we expecting?" Harry asked curiously.

"Most of the Order will be taking residence in the house, except those infernal Weasley twins, they're staying at the camp with you teenagers. Good luck with that by the way." Moody said with a smirk.

"We'll also be giving shelter to the Brown girl, the Abbott girl, the Longbottom boy and the Lovegood girl. They will be staying in camp teenager" Remus said with a grin.

"Okay." Harry said, not really bothered by sleeping in a tent, plus it would be nice to have Neville arround.

"Bill Weasley will be staying in the boys tent and Fleur Delacour will be in the girls to make sure you lot aren't acting like horny rabbits." Moody said bluntly.

Harry snorted and asked. "So it has nothing to do with them trying to escape Mrs. Weasley?" Harry asked innocently.

"Aye, they're getting married August first and Molly's driving them nuts with wedding preparations, they practically begged for the assignment." Moody said with a grin.

Harry nodded in understanding. "When will 'Camp Mad-Eye' be set up then?" Harry asked.

"Today, but the order won't start arriving until the first, you two will move over there this Saturday, so we have time to charm the rooms." Moody said.

"I'll just go pack my stuff then."Harry told them standing up.

"Good be prepared for a proper thrashing this evening after your day off last night." Moody threatened.

Harry nodded and excused himself from the table and headed for his bedroom.

The rest of the day went like yesterday Harry sorted his fifth year memories into a book labeled year five and stacked it into the metal box he created in his mind, and was preparing for 'year six.

He was brought out of his sorting of this year by his wand vibrating telling him it was time to start dinner, so he pulled himself from his own mind and and headed to the kitchen to start preparing cold deli sandwiches and chips for dinner this evening, he liked a cold supper on days like today when it was quite hot and muggy (for Scotland anyway).

When everyone had sat down and started eating Harry asked Moody. "Are you still going to be teaching us when the Order starts working out of the house?'

"Aye, but not every evening, you'll start working with Kingsley as well as Tonks every now and then, they are both skilled enough to give you a good thrashing." Moody answered with a grin.

Harry didn't doubt that statement one bit, Tonks was really good with a wand and he knew Kinsley was second only to Moody in the Order in terms of skill, he had seen the man fight at the ministry last June and already knew he wasn't a person you wanted on the wrong side of.

"Okay, I think we can handle our morning PT on our own now." Harry suggested.

"Well, I am all for that" Tonks spoke up. "Means I'll get to sleep in." Tonks agreed.

"As long as you two don't slack off, I'm fine with that." Moody said alarmingly.

"I won't, I'm actually starting to like it." Harry admitted.

"I am two, I always feel really good after I'm done." Susan agreed.

"I heard you have been studying occlumency, how far have you gotten with that?" Moody asked Harry.

"I am still at the point where I have to sort my memories and I am building protection around them, so I've still got a ways to go." Harry said honestly.

"What about spells, I hope you've been giving them some study as well?" Moody continued his questioning.

"I have, so far I've practiced the bone breaker, the piercing hex, the beheading curse, the eye gouging hex and I'm looking into the flame whip." Harry answered.

"Aren't those a little violent?" Asked Remus concerned.

"I'm planning on killing death eaters not tickling them into submission." Harry answered sarcastically.

"But Dumbledore was firmly against us killing them, we stun and take prisoners. You should be looking in to shields and binding spells." Remus said shocked at Harry's answer.

"Dumbledore is dead, I'm done fighting them with kid gloves. We are at war. They kill us so we kill them." Harry said irritably.

"Harry we can't stoop to their level, you'll end up no better than them." Remus said pleadingly.

The rest of the table had gone quiet, watching the building argument.

"Yeah, tell that to my parents and Susan's parents, tell that to Hermione's parents, while your at it tell that same pacifist garbage to Sirius. It's Dumbledore's ridiculous capture only methods, that inadvertently caused most of their deaths! If you want to kiss your enemies ass while they murder our friends and family go ahead, but I am filling Graves when I fight. not filling cells in that revolving door we call a prison" Harry said in a loud angry voice.

"Harry, I can't let you do this, I won't let you go out and kill people." Lupin said just as angrily.

"You don't have a say in this, I will be of age in a months time, and you have no authority over me anyway." Harry said flatly.

"I may not be your guardian, but James Potter would never condone what your planning to do." Remus said fiercely.

"He's dead, I'll never know what he would condone." Harry said annoyed that Lupin had tried to use his father to win the argument.

"Enough! Potter's right. We will not be capturing death eaters any longer. Remus you need to grow up, I know for a fact James put quite a few death eaters in the ground working for the Auror corp. I was in charge of his auror squad before he had to go into hiding." Moody barked.

"You can't really mean that Alistor?" Lupin asked shocked.

"Of course I do, Amy Bones was one of the first Aurors I trained and the cowards murdered her in her home." Moody snapped.

"But we can't go out and take lives, our job is to save them." Lupin said looming around the table for support and not finding any

"We will save innocent lives, every marked death eater dead is one less broken family." Harry said.

"Aye, Lupin either grow a pair, or clear out. The Order is under new management." Moody stated firmly.

Remus gaped in shock at everyone at the table, before standing up. "I will not be apart of a group that kills people, Dumbledore would never have allowed it. I am resigning Alistor." Remus said before standing up walking out the front door and slamming it shut behind him.

"What about you Tonks?" Moody asked.

"I don't really have a problem with it, if Bellatrix had been executed instead of being put in prison, my cousin would still be alive, so would all those families attacked a week ago." She said quietly.

Moody nodded "That's true, but don't worry lass, they won't be going to prison this time around." Moody told her before turning to Harry

"Right then, those spells are good you should also look into the ribbon cutter it's made to cut down a large group, but that set your learning will do you well in battle." Moody said.

"What about you Suzie, what have you been studying in your free time." Moody asked the redhead.

"How common medical spells can be used in battle situations, for instance there is a spell that sends an electric shock to the heart to resuscitate someone, if used on a healthy person it can stop their heart." She said quietly.

"That's all well and good but most of those healing spells are close range. You need to be studying combat magic any of the spells Harry mentioned would serve you well." Moody said before turning to Harry and saying "Teach her what you've learned so far, if you two are inducted into the order you'll be paired together so you might as well get her on the same page as you."

Harry nodded and said "Sure I'll start working with her after lunch tomorrow." He then turned to Susan and asked "If that's okay with you?"

"That's fine Harry, I already know your a good teacher." She said with a smile.

After that everyone headed to their rooms, and Harry was finally able to finish sorting his memories, he sealed up the metal trunk and created a parsel tongue password to open it, then sealed the vault shut. Now he could start creating shields around the door, invisible barriers to keep a legilimencer from reaching the door protecting his memories, the book advised to add layer upon layer of protections around your memories kind of like an onion, it also said he would have to sort his memories every night before bed. The memories were the easy part to Occlumency, protecting your thoughts was many magnitudes more difficult and could take several months to be proficient at doing so. For the time being he would continue fortifying his memories and practicing clearing his mind and work from there. He had already started a new volume to file his current memories titled 'year 7'.

Pulling from his mind in time to cast the Animagus spell, he quickly cast it over himself and prepared for bed, he would be waking on his own in the morning so he set an alarm for five, he climbed into bed and cleared his mind before drifting to sleep.

Moody's House, 6/28/1997, 13:24

Harry had just moved his things to his new lodgings, the tent was set up like a barrack with two rows of six beds in a large room, it had a community style shower and restroom setup and a common area with tables and couches set up to relax and socialize.

His trunk was now placed in front of th closest rack to the door, not having anything else to do in here he walked outside the tent to see a scowling Susan Bones, she noticed him as he walked over to her.

"What's wrong Susan?" He asked her.

"Moody hates me, that tent is so sparse I can't even take a bubble bath, I have to shower like a common criminal". She exclaimed dramatically.

Harry forced the image of Susan in a bubble bath from his mind with difficulty and said "Mines the same, I guess we still eat at the house though."

"Nope, were setting up the mess tent by the house. Everyone will eat together." Tonks said coming up behind them.

"Who's going to cook all that food?" Harry asked worried he would be forced to run the kitchens.

"The Brown's and Longbottom's house elves, both families will be lodging here." Tonks answered amused by the look on Harry's face.

"So this really will be 'Camp Mad-Eye' then?" Susan asked.

"Yeah Moody thinks the Ministry will fall by the end of summer, the head of the D.M.L.E is already compromised, so he's probably right." Tonks explained.

"Moody never mentioned the rest of the Weasley's are they staying here too?" Harry asked.

"No, Molly's to Damn stubborn. They are having the wedding at the Burrow so they are staying there to prepare for it, which is a major security risk." Tonks answered exasperatedly.

"Any news from Hogwarts?" Harry questioned.

"It's completely sealed and only the headmistress can open it, Minerva took the book of names with her before she left just in case the ministry can force it open. If Moody's right about the Ministry falling the death eaters will target muggleborns first." Tonks explained.

"Now I've been ordered to stay in the girls tent with Susan to prevent any rabbit like behavior and to discourage any late night panty raids until Fleur arrives." Tonks told them both in a matter-of-fact tone.

Harry rolled his eyes at her, "I am not going to be stealing Bones unmentionables, yours on the other hand.. " Harry left his sentence hanging.

"Good luck I don't wear them." Tonks said with a smug smirk.

"Alright enough of that talk, Potter stay away from my knickers, Tonks for the love of god sleep in your pajamas." Susan said in a firm voice.

"Yes ma'am." Harry and Tonks said at the same time.

"Susan scowled at them both before glaring at Tonks and saying. "Your a bad influence on him, he wasn't so crass before he started bantering with you."

"Here that Harry she's claiming I took your innocence." Tonks said with faux sadness.

"You'd think I would remember if you had." Harry said innocently.

"You two are impossible." Susan exclaimed in frustration.

"Alright I'll stop, come on I'm starving, let's go get us a snack." Tonks said cheerfully.

The rest of the weekend passed as routinely as a weekday, they trained seven days a week because as Moody put it "This isn't a schoolhouse, were in the middle of a war, you will train seven days a week, and think me for the privilege."

Moody's House, 7/1/1997, 14:30

The new members of 'Camp Mad-Eye' had started arriving after lunch, the Longbottom's were some of the first to arrive much to Harry's relief and Harry spent most of the afternoon filling him in on the happenings here so far this summer.

Sadly poor Neville's attention went out the window the moment Hannah Abbott arrived at the property, Harry snorted at his moony eyed friend.

"Ah, I see you noticed the lovely Ms. Abbot will be staying here as well." Harry said breaking Neville from his staring.

Neville blushed and demanded. "You couldn't have thought to mention it?"

"Nah, her boyfriends a real tosser. I was hoping to give myself a shot at her." Harry said seriously.

"In your dreams Potter, she's mad for Neville, stay away from my friend." Said a voice from behind him

Harry turned to see a smirking Susan Bones.

"It's rude to eavesdrop Bones." Harry said in a chastising tone.

"Oi, who are calling a tosser anyway?" Neville asked.

Before Harry could answer a high pitched voice called out "Neville." and Harry hastily got out of the path of Hannah as she ran up and jumped on the boy hugging him.

Shaking his head he turned to Susan "That's all we'll get out of him now." He told her sadly.

"Yeah, and I'll have to hear every detail of today later tonight as well." Susan said with a grimace.

The Weasley twins soon joined them as well as Luna Love good and Lavender Brown, Lavender latched on to Susan, much to Ms. Bones annoyance and Harry and the twins went into their tent followed by Luna.

"Fred, George, Luna welcome to camp Mad-eye" Harry said grandly.

"It is excellent." Fred exclaimed.

"The accommodations." George added.

"That camp Mad-eye." Fred said.

"Has provided for us." They both said in unison.

The twins then left and were busy going around the tent and inspecting the Spartan living quarters of the tent.

Shaking his head at the pair, he turned to Luna and asked. "How are you doing Luna? I am very sorry to hear what happened to your father." Harry finished softly.

"I'm doing well, though I am very sad about daddy. I've been staying with the Weasley's since school closed and Ronald has a very bad case of the wrackspurts, I suspect he misses Hermione, and the creatures decided to infest his brain." She said in a dreamy voice.

Before he could reply Bill Weasley walked in and threw a duffle bag on the bunk across from Harry's. "Hello Harry, had a good summer?" Bill asked.

"Been training all summer, what about you? "Harry questioned.

"Moms been driving everyone in the house whole house insane with wedding plans, I should have just eloped." Bill said.

"To right." George cut in.

"And with us gone." Fred added.

"All of her attention will." George said.

"Be directed at Ron." Fred added.

"And Ginny." The both exclaimed happily.

"I never get used to you two talking like that." Harry said.

"No one does." Bill cut in.

Before anything else could be said the magnified voice of Mad-Eye Moody called out. "Everyone is to report to the mess tent A.S.A.P"

Harry and the rest of the group headed for the mess tent, the girls taking up the rear were whispering quietly and Neville came up beside him as they walked.

"So Susan tells me you two have been training." Neville said.

"Yep, but look around mate what else is there to do around here." Harry asked.

"Right so what do they have you doing in training?" Neville asked curious.

"Physical exercise before dawn, dodging exercises after breakfast and magical fighting lessons in the evening. The best part is you will be joining us for all the fun tomorrow." Harry said with a grin.

"I'm not going to like any of that am I?" Neville asked concerned.

"Probably not, and we're here by the way." Harry told him as they arrived at the mess tent.

A crowd was forming up around the entrance. There had to be almost a hundred people here.

Moody stood in the doorway of the mess tent and when he had decided everyone was here he started speaking.

"Well, this is our new headquarters, I've already arranged the kids lodgings, the adults who are members of the order have been given rooms in the main house. the rest of you will be staying in tents around the main house. We're expecting more people to arrive in a weeks time so it will only get more crowded from here on out. Now anyone under the age of seventeen will be having their trace removed they are a liability to the rest of us otherwise.

Also all Order members under the age of fourty will report to the training grounds by five am for morning P.T.

Once Moody finished his announcements he called the teens under seventeen to him and removed their trace and dismissed everyone.

Harry headed back towards his tent when he was spun around an engulfed in a hug by Fleur Delacour. "It iz good to see you 'arry." She said once releasing a dazed Harry.

"You too Fleur, I heard Mrs. Weasley has been a tad overbearing this Summer." Harry asked with a grin.

Fleur huffed. "She 'as been a nightmare, I am French and even I am not zat picky." Fleur said annoyed.

"Yeah Bill mentioned as much, you remember my friend Neville." Harry said introducing the boy who had stayed quiet so far.

"No, I don't think we 'ave met before, I am Fleur." She said offering Neville her hand.

Neville smiled nervously and shook her hand. " It's nice to meet you Fleur, I'm Neville Longbottom." Neville said.

"Not bad Neville at least you didn't gape at her like Ron always does and I don't see one drop of drool." Harry said with a grin.

Fleur scowled at the mention of Ron. "'e is still doing zat , most get used to my Veela magic after a few weeks. I don't understand why 'e 'asn't yet." Fleur said exasperatedly.

"Could it be that your really pretty, and the sight of a goddess leaves him in a stupor?" asked Harry helpfully.

"Oi Potter don't try charming up my fiancé." Bill said good naturedly.

"Zank you 'arry." Fleur said with a grin and slightly pink cheeks.

"I was just trying to diagnose your brothers reactions around Fleur." Harry told Bill innocently.

"Bill snorted. "I've already spoken to Tonks Potter, she said you've become a bit of rake lately." Bill said with a smirk.

"That is a very hurtful thing for her to say." Harry said offended.

"Of course it is, by the way I actually came to find you. Moody told me to give you a hand with your occlumency" Bill explained he then turned to Neville and said. "Mr. Longbottom would you please escort Fleur to the girls tent."

Neville nodded and offered Fleur his arm in a traditional purebloods fashion, which Fleur happily looped her own through and Neville nodded to Bill before saying "This way Ms. Delacour." and led a giggling Fleur to the training grounds where the teens tents were located.

"You just got him knee deep in it." Harry told Bill as they walked casually towards the other side of the property.

"Why's that Bill?" asked confused.

"His girlfriend is staying in the girls tent." Harry said with a grin.

"Ah yes. I could see how escorting Fleur might cause him some trouble." Bill said sheepishly.

"He'll be fine." Harry assured.

"Are you sure?" Bill asked

"Once Hannah calms down she'll be keeping her eye on him and Fleur for a while and might even give you the stink eye but other than that it will be fine." Harry said knowingly.

"If you knew this why didn't you stop me?" Bill asked exasperatedly.

"Because it will be hilarious to watch." harry said happily.

Bill scowled and said. "Your starting to remind me of the twins."

"Bill what an awful thing to say." Harry said in a hurt tone.

'Well this spot looks good enough, take a seat and I will test you defenses." Bill said changing the subject.

Harry sat cross legged on the ground and Bill sat down in front of him, Harry cleared his mind in a mere second and watched Bill raise his wand and mutter "Legilimens".

Harry felt Bills presence enter his mind and Harry used his own mental presence to push him back, the two of them were at a sort of stale mate and Bill finally ended the legilimency attack.

"That is very impressive, you haven't gotten to the stage where you shield your mind yet have you?" Bill asked.

"Not I'm still fortifying my memories at the moment, I didn't want to rush that part." Harry admitted.

'Yeah they way your have your mind arranged makes it difficult to get any information from you, I was having to give my complete concentration to not being pushed out of your mind." Bill said.

'Yeah well I need to practice fighting off mental intrusion, that was very tiring for me also." Harry admitted.

"I can try and work with you in the afternoons if you would like." Bill offered.

"i would very much appreciate that." Harry accepted.

"Okay we'll practice out here at three when I'm not busy with the order." Bill said.

"Thanks Bill." harry said standing up when he saw Bill rising to his feet.

"No problem, now lets go see if dinner is served I'm starving." Bill said.

'Weasley's." harry muttered as the walked back to camp.

Entering the mess tent he saw Neville with Hannah holding his arm possessively and glaring daggers at Fleur, Harry took a seat across from Neville and looked pointedly between the two before asking "Something wrong?"

Neville looked at a loss of what to say and Hannah spoke. "No everything is just fine."

"Fleur looked to be very amused at Neville's predicament, Harry winked at her and she let out a giggle that had Bill s bowling at him.

Harry smirked and started filling his plate when Susan plopped down beside him and Lavender sat on his other side. "Hey Harry, how has your summer been so far?" Lavender asked.

"It's been hectic, I was sorry to hear about the attack on your family." Harry said softly.

"It was horrible, my mom and dad were just released from St. Mungo last Thursday." she said softly.

"Are they joining the order?" Harry asked.

"Yes after what happened to my little brother Devon, they want to fight, so do I but I'm not very good with a wand." She admitted selfconciously.

"Well this place is turning into one big training camp, I'm sure you can learn a thing or two while your here." Harry said encouragingly.

"Thanks Harry." She said giving him a bright smile.

Susan raised her eyebrows at Harry, he wasn't usually so understanding of other people's feelings, and she wanted to face palm. If Harry wasn't careful he would have Lavender chasing him around like she had Weasley a couple of months ago, Susan grinned that would be hilarious to watch though.

"Something funny Bones?" Harry asked suspiciously.

"No I'm just happy everyone's here." Susan lied easily.

After dinner that night Bill created a free it in front of the two tents and transfiguration a bunch of chairs so everyone could sit out by the fire and relax. Harry sat by the fire and started going through his occlumency exercises while everyone talked around him and just sort of zoned out until a punch to the arm got his attention.

Neville had sat down beside him and looked to be quite annoyed. "Why didn't you tell me Hannah would get all jealous over Fleur." Neville demanded.

Harry grinned "I thought it would be funnier if I didn't" harry said with a grin.

"Your a real wanker sometimes you know that?" Neville asked irritably.

"Sorry mate. I honestly didn't think much about it until she took your arm." Harry admitted.

"Whatever, I explained what happened and she was fine with it, but she still keeps shooting poor Fleur the stink eye." Neville explained

"Women" Harry said with a grin.

"Excuse me Potter, I don't appreciate that comment." Susan spoke up.

"It's still rude to eavesdrop Bones." Harry said.

"Whatever, I came over here to warn you about a problem you've created for yourself, but if you'd rather be rude about my gender, I may just let you find out on your own." Susan said warningly.

"What did I do? and what is the problem I have created?" Harry asked worriedly.

"Well I can't fault you for trying to be nice to Lavender, her family was attacked and she's been through a lot. The problem is your one of the few eligible males in this camp, add to the fact that you were inquiring to her well being and encouraging her at dinner, your likely to experience a lot of heavy flirting in the near future. If you have any sense at all you will not reciprocate or... well you get the gist of what I'm saying." Susan said with a grin at Harry's genuine look of horror.

Harry looked over at Neville, who's expression looked positively gleeful. "Do you think she'll call you 'Har-Har" or something else entirely? I also wonder how you'll look with that "my sweetheart' necklace around your neck" Neville asked barely holding in his laughter.

"Susan you had better not be encouraging her or-

Susan cut him off mid sentence. "Or what? I won't encourage her as long as you do something for me." She said with a predatory grin.

"What do yo want Bones?" Harry asked defeatedly.

"Oh nothing much just for you to make me that chocolate lava cake you made last Monday." She said simply.

"That's all?" Harry asked suspiciously.

"Well you also have to deliver it to me, but yes that is all." she said innocently.

"When do you want it?" Harry asked.

"Tonight, so you had better get to baking." She said in a sing song voice..

Harry finished the baking cake in just under an hour and had it covered in icing after a quick cooling charm, he very gently hovered it down from the mess tent towards the girls tent, however as soon as he went to enter he was blasted back ten feet and crashed to the ground the cake landed a half a second later right in his face. He heard Susan at the door to the tent laughing a full belly laugh at Harry's covers in chocolate.

She walked over to him, Harry was still on the ground trying to get the thick chocolate sauce out of his eyes.

"I forgot to mention, Fleur put up wards to keep the boys out of our tent." Susan said with a grin.

"I'll get you for this Bones." Harry growled.

"You won't do anything or I'll tell Lavender you were sneaking over here to see her, with chocolate cake for her, I am sure she would help clean you up." Susan said triumphantly.

"I really, really dislike you right now." Harry said frustrated.

"Well good night then, Harry." Susan said cheerfully ignoring his last statement.

'Oh she is so going to pay for this' Harry thought to himself as he stood up and started vanishing cake.

Moody's House, Scotland, 7/8/1997, 16:00

The next group of people came to the camp that afternoon, the McMillans, the Greengrasses, and Griselda Marchbanks there was also a bunch of muggleborns in this group: the Creevey's, Justin Finch-Fletchley, and Dean Thomas.

Their was some others from Harry's year group: Anthony Goldstein, Seamus Finnigan, and Terry Boot. So the boys tent was completely full now and the girls tent was getting there as well..

Harry was happy to note Lavender getting really cozy with Seamus Finnigan, so hopefully she would finally leave him alone now.

The last week had been stressful, the new arrivals had struggled badly during morning P.T training which Moody had volunteered Harry to lead the teens through. Fred and George didn't struggle much with the exercises they had done it in there quidditch training just like him, but Neville and the girls did struggle quite a bit..

After a week the group was starting to get in the swing of things, though some of the girls were still struggling with the running.

Harry's biggest problem of getting the group focusing on their workout had been Fleur Delacour, who worked out with the teenagers, she preferred to wear muggle style workout clothes, which consisted of very short skin tight spandex shorts and a sports bra. Harry had to continuously fire off stinging hexes at all the males in the group to get them to focus during calisthenic exercises, even Bill was not immune to the distraction of his soon to be wife.

This also had the effect of Hannah tightening Neville leash even tighter, much to Harry's amusement.

But Neville got his own entertainment at every meal, when Lavender would sit beside Harry and blatantly flirt with him, and harry would pretend like he hadn't a clue what she was talking about and ignored her sitting far to close to him. Pretending to be clueless only made her try even harder to get his attention, so meals were very stressful.

It wasn't that Lavender was unattractive she was a very pretty girl, he just knew how she would act in a relationship, he saw that first hand when Ron got involved with her, and he wanted no part of that.

The occlumency training had been going well, Harry could actually force Bill out of his mind (Though he still had to struggle to do so). He was now starting to build shields over his mind, and it was really slow work but he was slowly seeing progress.

He was also well over halfway through with his mandrake leaf and was actually starting to be able to taste his food over the sweet earthy taste of the leaf, he thought it might be losing its flavor or his tongue had grown accustomed to it.

Harry snuck away from the camp to get some quiet, he wandered over to his usual spot that him and Bill practiced at and laid down on the soft ground and looked at the unusually clear blue sky.

He was shortly joined by Susan, who flopped down beside him staring up at the sky.

"Filling a bit crowded here now, huh?" Harry asked.

"Yep, the tents all full now, and Moody said more would be coming in a weeks time, I think he is trying to build his own city." Susan said firefly.

"No, he's trying to get all the ones at risk to safety before the Ministry falls. First the light faction of the Wizengamot, then the muggleborns that are in school. I'll bet the next batch will be adult muggleborns in the ministry, he would have to do them last so as not to tip his hand, the ministry is compromised after all." Harry said Thinking out the strategy Moody was probably using.

"Well over half of the D.A is here now, and Moody's put you in charge of their training." Susan said.

"True and I'm starting to think the D.A should work separate from the order, two teams of seven and a medical and support team." Harry said putting voice to something he had been planning ever since the first group arrived.

"Why didn't you say anything, earlier that's a great idea? That's great idea." Susan exclaimed.

"Cause none of us are ready for actual combat, most of those members can barely cast a stunner. To bad we don't have Ginny and Ron they are actually very good in stressful situations. Other than them: You, Neville, Seamus, the twins and Luna Lovegood are our best fighters in the camp.

Fred and George are very good at setting up traps and they fight good as a team.

Your just vicious with a wand and cant be hit with a spell.

Neville is a heavy hitter now that he has a wand that works for him, after spending five years pushing his magic through a poor conductor his magic grew stronger to compensate.

Seamus is a fire bug and great with destructive magic and Luna is so unpredictable it's almost impossible to tell what she's going to do, and she does have a nasty side when she's angered." Harry gave his assessment his picks for team one..

"That's one team you can form, now we just need to find the members of team two." Susan said optimistically.

"That's all well and good, but you will have to train team three, your the only one here who has a solid background in healing. If you weren't so damn good with a wand, I would put you in charge of that team." Harry said truthfully.

Susan blushed at his comment and went quiet for a few minutes. Before finally speaking. "Okay I know Hannah is pretty good with minor healing magic and the greengrass girl's mother was a trained healer, I'm sure I can have a few more picks by the end of the week. If you really want to do this I'm with you." Susan said deadly serious.

"Okay then let's do it, but we can't let anyone from the order know what's up." Harry said.

"Agreed." Susan said easily.
