Spells and Louds.
Chapter 437: Aftermath from yesterday.
(Spellman Estate.)
At the house of the Spellman's, classes are done for the day and everyone is enjoying their small break, but many of the students are busy with their final practices for the upcoming Royal Woods Middle School Talent show.
At the Spellman music recording room, Lincoln and Luna are getting the gear ready for the others to come and practice. "So, Jordan and Linka coming here or what?" asked Luna as she places the drums in place, with the help of Loudred.
"They'll be here, we just have to wait" replied Lincoln. He places down the axes and goes over to the microphone. "So, how's the psionic khalai belt working for you sis?"
Luna looks to the belt, which shifts to her favorite color. "Doing fine, a lot of the guys at school wondered what I was wearing and I just said it was a gift from my sibs and I was able to feel what you were feeling for the whole day at school, and that was a lot of adrenaline."
"Well, we were doing dodge ball and some part of us were feeling stoked for tomorrow" replied Lincoln. They both exit the glass recording area and both of them sit onto the large bean bag chair. Absol and Loudred take their leave to give them some alone time. "Tomorrow is gonna be epic, and a lot of us will be nervous at what we're gonna do and see who can perform better than the others."
"True, true" replied Luna. "Right now you're feeling excited, anxious and also nervous. I get it bro, it's not easy trying to move onward to something big and awesome, but just think of it as one of the missions we have and just role with it."
"Yeah, thanks for that" replied Lincoln. "Even if we don't win tomorrow, at least we had fun doing it and also had fun with the other friends and whoever wins, we'll give them respect."
Luna then pulls Lincoln close to her and he rests his head on her side. "That's what I like to hear, my baby brother doing his best to show respect and understanding to others in the big time talent show."
"This isn't some big time Talent show sis. That would have to be America's Got Talent" replied Lincoln.
Luna chuckles. "Yeah, still it's nice to see my little brother doing his own thing and trying to see how well he can be with the talent of music."
"And I have you to thank, well you and Sam, but mostly you" replied Lincoln. "You were the one who showed me how awesome and fun music can be and I learned so much and found out I can do the same as you do, just in some different ways. Same goes for the others, like Linka and Jordan."
Luna then hugs her brother. "You're too much bro, too much."
Lincoln hugs her back, then he asks her. "Luna, when you finish your last years in High School. What happens after that?"
Luna could tell and feel he wasn't quite calm or happy, she knew he would ask her and she needs to find some way to answer that one. "I don't know little brother, I guess I could take up community college, or go to FutureTech University, but that was is hard and kinda distant and I don't wanna be far from the little brother that I swore to protect. We have a bond and I don't want it to feel like we're not close as we used to be."
Lincoln then hugs Luna tighter and sheds a few tears. "Luna, when that day does come, whatever you choose is okay with me. Even though we're gonna be far, far away from each other, I won't be sad or angry, I know you'll come by and visit and we can always talk to each other. I can be brave and always talk to you when I need some comfort from the best big sis/guardian."
Luna sheds some tears as well and pulls Lincoln in for a hug. "Oh Linc, I know things are changing and we're growing up so fast, sorta. I just wish there was some way we can be together, no matter how far we're gonna be and how hard things will get."
"I always saw you as a mom more than a sister, but I always kept the promise to see you as my sister when we're in public, but every night I dream that you were the one who raised me into this kid with the hero life" replied Lincoln. "Kinda like an alternative dimension."
"You had the same dream huh?" said Luna. "Same here, I also have dreams that we'd be living in peace and harmony alone with some of our closest pals and gals, in this life as a mother and son hero team, with everyone else and that we redeemed the people who caused this madness and family breaking moment last year."
Lincoln then sighs and relaxes from the warm hug. "This really does bring in so many nice memories, of who we were before and the fun and lives we had when we were once louds."
"Yeah, sure does." Luna strokes his white hair and calms down as well. "Things would've been different if we had never faced that whole court issue and went separate from the old family."
"I wonder what our lives would've been, if we hadn't had realized how close sibs we were and how much troublesome adventures we could've gotten stuck in" replied Lincoln.
"No clue, but I don't wanna know anymore. I just feel like, if we did continue with the lives as louds, then we wouldn't be enjoying moments like this" replied Luna. "Heck, I might've done some worse things to ya, and I would never live it through."
Unknown to them, Neil and Gwen hear this. "Well, seems like things sure are escalating with the aftermath of her birthday" said Neil.
They then walk back up the stairs. "We need to come up with some plan for when Luna is done with High School. But we need to be prepared and see the different outcomes of her choice. Community College, or FutureTech University."
"Community College in Royal Woods would allow her still to reside within the town, but she needs her own place that could be close to the college itself" replied Neil. "As for FutureTech University, well that place is at Washington DC, the original home base of the first FutureTech all those years ago."
"This is gonna be a touch choice to do, and we might need some help, but we can make it through" replied Gwen. "For now, we should get ourselves ready for tomorrow, we got a middle school talent show to attend and I think there might be more than just the family and team."
"We're gonna have a whole group of friends inbound to see the musical talent from Lincoln, Linka and Jordan and who knows what could happen" replied Neil. "We also need to look onto a good preschool for Lily, she has to start her education soon."
"True, and let's not forget once Sunset is done with High School next year, she said she's gonna take up the offer and become a teacher at the School of Friendship at Equestria. The question left now is Leni."
Neil and Gwen make it to the kitchen, but they had no idea that Leni overheard them. "Mom, dad. I made my choice already."
They spot Leni, who is with her Pokemon Roserade, Michelle, Gothorita and Courage. "How much of that did you guys hear?" asked Neil.
"You guys were not really quiet, plus you two can be heard as you were walking up the stairs" replied Michelle as she puts the pot into the sink.
"So, what do you have planned Leni?" asked Gwen.
"Well, I actually found a place for my own." Leni shows them the pamphlet and they see Huntington Oaks. "There's a nice place, this used to be the home of Hugh Kirsch and he wants me to have it, I can be able to move to the place when I finish high school next year and with the help from FutureTech, they're gonna make some modifications to make it secure."
"Wow! Talk about early planning, do the others know about this?" asked Neil.
"Sadly, no. I haven't told them yet, I was thinking it could be a surprise for when my 18 Birthday makes way next year" replied Leni. "I don't know how Linka would react, but deep down she'll be upset, but also happy for me and I was also thinking of having Loni live with me as well."
That part they did not see coming. "Wow. Okay, so that was unexpected, but understandable" said Gwen. "Does he know about this?"
Leni nods. "We talked about it last week at the mall and he's okay with keeping the thing down low secretive until the day comes to tell the others. I hope this, I hope this doesn't change anything guys."
"Leni, this doesn't make things different" said Neil. He and Gwen sit by her sides. "Sure you might be far from this house, but we'll always know you're not too far to call or visit."
"We're a family, and no matter how far we may be, we'll always be as a family should be" replied Gwen. She and Neil then hug Leni and she hugs them back.
"Thanks guys, and I promise that when the day comes, I'll do my best to keep myself and Loni in work and also have fun and visit you guys. We can always see each other around town" said Leni.
"That's my girl" replied Neil. "Now, we should get ready for Jordan to get here, where the heck is Linka anyway?"
"She said she'll be here soon, she needed to see if the plan for their clothes for the talent show was ready or not" replied Leni. "But something tells me that they're gonna be using their hero attire for the whole gig, they are the 3 Commanders, still an awesome name."
They continue to talk, while Michelle thinks. 'I think I know how Luna and Lincoln can still be in touch and possibly be together under the same roof, but I need someone to do me some favors and it's not gonna be an easy thing. I need to do this for them, they gave me this new life and with them growing up, they need a change in their new lives as well. For Lincoln and Luna.'

Leon and Sergei arrive to the tower and they see the Rune Golems are all armed with new weaponry. "Looks like Gyro gave these guys a major magical upgrade, look at those arcane armor and swords and axes and a hammer and a mace and some spike ball thing on a chain and stick too" said Leon.
"I don't think those were made by Gyro" replied Sergei.
"No, they weren't." Bill Cipher appears in front of them. "They may look like arcane weapons and armor, but they're actually for me. I was able to use my chaotic powers to make something for them to be useful whenever that banshee queen even thinks about coming here."
Mina Loveberry comes and gives Bill Cipher his sandwich. "Thank you, now go back inside and clean the dungeons and make sure the skeletons have been cleared out too."
"Yes sir." Mina Loveberry races back into the tower with enchanted cleaning materials.
"I honestly can't believe she works for you now" said Leon. "She sure is useful around here, she hasn't lost her mind yet, has she?"
"Nope. I'm the one who controls her, and she can't do squats with her mind binded to mine and stuck through my overriding will." Bill Cipher eats his sandwich.
"Well, this just turned into a Zerg thing, so what the hell are we doing here again and why not get the others?" asked Sergei.
"I'm here." They get startled by the presence of Hollow. "Ha! You guys didn't see or sense shit! And I thought you had Aswang powers you retard!"
"My powers only work sometime and I only turn into Halimaw when I feel like it!" replied Leon. "Also, what the hell are you doing here?"
"No clue either, Gyro told me to come here because he has some kind of big surprise for us to see and that he wants only us to know this secret he kept hidden from the others" replied Hollow.
Sergei and Leon sigh in annoyance. "For fucks sake! Another secret?!"
"Dude, he has way too much shit to keep secret, next to the stupid Choosey hat he got from Hexside and now this?" said Sergei. "How much more does he have?"
"Way too many to count and most of them aren't even know to Pyrrha" replied Bill Cipher.
"That's true and now I know that he kept someone powerful within the tower, and is now free and fully healed after his conflict" replied Pyrrha as she arrives from the main gates with some Rune golems.
"Okay, so what the heck is this big secret the guardian has?" asked Leon.
Pyrrha smirks. "You boys might wanna get down."
They are confused by this, but then Bill Cipher stands next to her and then Hollow sense something. "Get down now!"
They take cover and a large creature flues over them. "Holy shit!" They see a large red dragon flying around the tower, it roars and let's out some fire onto some heavily armored magical targets.
"What in the ten hells is that fucking thing?!" asked Leon. They then duck down as it flies by again.
"Looks like a red dragon, but not the Azeroth type" replied Sergei. They then see the red dragon has someone riding it. "Is that Gyro?"
They look closely and Gyro throws arcane spheres that destroy the remaining knight dummies. "Yup, that is definitely the Guardian, I didn't think he had a dragon with him."
Bill Cipher and Pyrrha chuckle. "You guys might wanna look again, because that is no ordinary dragon."
They look closely and look to the large red dragon. "You know, now that they mention it, it does look like a dragon we've seen before. Like something from the movie" said Leon. "But where?"
They then see a small scale piece from the lower area of the neck and the upper part of the chest from the dragon is missing a scale, it's been replaced by an obsidian scale. "Huh, that looks familiar" replied Sergei. "Seriously, where the heck have we seen that beast?"
Hollow then sees three books on the table, the books made by Tolkien and named. "The Hobbit" Hollow then looks to the dragon once again. "Oh shit. How the hell did he get that guy?"
Then the dragon comes towards them. "Oh jeez! Incoming!" They all take cover, but the large dragon opens its wings and lands in front of them and Gyro comes down from it.
"Ha! Hey guys, so what do you think of this bad ass of a dragon?" said Gyro, he then high fives Bill Cipher and Pyrrha and fist bumps with the large red dragon.
The other guys look to the beast. "Dude, what the hell? Who the hell? When the hell?" asked Leon.
"Why do you have this red dragon with you?" asked Sergei. "I never thought you to be the one to take in some giant fire-breathing scaly creature of mass destruction, sorta."
Hollow looks to the dragon. "Smaug?! You have Smaug with you?! Why?!" Leon and Sergei are jaws dropped from this news.
Gyro smirks, and Smaug growls at them. "Easy big guy, easy." He then looks to the others. "Now, how I got this guy? Well, I was dimension warping and then I ended up at the lake town, the very same lake town that nears the Lonely Mountain, I saw that it was all the aftermath of the very battle of the nine armies and so I went over to the body of the dragon who fell from the sky."
"Afterwards I went to the body of the fallen beats, he may look dead, but I felt his heart still beating and his fire still blazing within. So, I knew he was a dragon who was consumed by greed and rage and to the fact he was the last red dragon in all of Middle Earth. So I brought him to Azeroth to heal him of his wounds, even though he has done wrong, I could see a creature who could be more than just cataclysm incarnate, and Deathwing already has that title."
They look up to Smaug. "So, you want to give this guy a new chance to life so he could be able to aid us in fighting off any form of evil" said Hollow Nice one."
"Can he speak? Like the one we saw on the big screen" asked Leon.
"That part is hard for him" replied Pyrrha. "He's still healing and he can't speak yet, not until he's fully healed. He can fly, breathe fire and tear enemies apart, but he can't speak yet. We have to wait for Queen Alexstrasza to arrive and help heal him of his wounds."
"He now lives underneath the tower, amongst the gold and riches of the tower. He now wishes to thank Gyro, by being the protector of Gyro and to the tower and all the artifacts and riches within, and also do his part to help the Royal Defenders and do his part to serve under the words of the Immortal Council and the Eternal Faiths," Bill Cipher then rubs the neck of Smaug which calms him down.
Leon, Sergei and Hollow look to each other, and then they look to Gyro. "We can keep this a secret" replied Sergei. "We know he'll be useful for future fights ahead, this big dragon alongside Luna's Frost Wyrm and Linc and Linka's Netherdrakes is gonna make the skies unsafe for the enemy."
"Let's not forget Neil" replied Leon. "Having Deathwing also fly with them will make the skies the scariest place to be, and all Hybrid will burn with ease with dragon power!"
Gyro smirks and he rubs the side of the red dragon. "I'm glad we have an understanding, but he is not for front line basic Hybrid fights, he's for when the time is right, like a potential threat to the realms, Are we clear?"
They all nod to this. "Good, because some part of me can see that something is going to happen soon, whatever is going to happen is bound to cause some trouble and we're gonna need everything we have to face this new threat. Whatever or whoever it is."
Then they hear Gyro's phone go off. He then sees the text. "It's from Luz Noceda."
"What the heck does she want?" asked Leon.
Gyro is shocked. "Oh boy. Looks like Amity Blight got hurt playing Grudgeby ball against her old friends, says here she helped Luz and Willow to prove that they're not lower-leveled witches and that she has changed her social status for the better, good for her."
"Well, there goes one of your students in Defense against the Dark Arts" replied Sergei.
"I wonder how she'll feel that she can't go to the field trip at the Emperor's Palace" said Hollow.
When Hollow said that, it shook the feeling in Gyro. He then felt the strange presence. 'Coul the new threat be the Emperor of the Boiling Isles?'
Only time will tell, and it could be sooner than they thought.
They then hear a barking sound and they see Milo Murphy's Dog standing next to Smaug, the dragon looks down to the dog and the others also see him. "Diogee, go home" replied Leon.
The dog nod and heads for the nearest Great Gate and goes back to his world, they then realize. "Wait, did he use the Great Gate to come here?" asked Sergei.
"It appears so" replied Smaug with a low growl. They all look to the red dragon.
"Ha! He does talk" said Leon.
