To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

438. Chapter 438

Spells and Louds

Chapter 438: Middle School Talent Show.

(Royal Fortress.)

The whole naval platform is back running and the rain has stopped, the crew onboard watch as the Jaeger went back into the hangar bay. The large robot hasn't taken much damage, just a few scratches.

The Jaeger Lynx Superia then docks itself onto its place and then the two pilots come out and remove their helmets. "Man, that was the easiest fight we're ever had" replied Linka. "I really thought we'd face some kind of powerhouse Kaiju, not some fast and lesser strength monster alien."

"That Kaiju was way too easy to beat and not a threat, sorta" replied Lincoln. They then stand on the platform and it goes down. "On the plus side, we had some action for today."

"True" replied Linka. "So you ready for this afternoon bro?"

"Sure am, today is the day we all head for the talent show and we show them how skilled we all are with music, and how far Luna's teachings have brought us to. We're bound to have so many people watching us, as well as Faunus, Pokemon and Protoss."

Then GLAIDS shows herself to them. "Lincoln and Linka, Mr. McKenzie would like to congratulate the two of you for your success in taking down category 3 Kaiju, overdrive, but from my opinion, we could've faced something a bit more threatening."

"You're not wrong" replied Linka. "I mean, that Kaiju had speed and all, but that guy lacked strength and durability. Not as strong as a category 5 or 6, also where the heck Is Martin anyway?"

"Mr. McKenzie has traveled to the other Royal Woods to run some maintenance for keeping another Talent Show secure from any sign of trouble, he'll be back to attend you're talent show when he is finished. Also, Major Rosato is waiting for you both on the top of the Fortress." replied GLADIS.

"Thanks GLADIS" replied Lincoln, the robotic A.I nods and heads off to help run some maintenance on the Jaeger. "So, we headed for the school?"

"The heck we are, I mean there's a good reason why Jordan would be here, she's waiting for us to finish our work and I'm sure she's seen what we did to the worst Kaiju we have ever met."

They soon arrive to the top and they see Lincoln's girlfriend Jordan Rosato, and with her is they're other pal Jenny Mulligan. "Hey guys!"

"Hey there my beautiful rose, also what the heck is Jenny doing here? I thought she'd be back at school helping keep things organized" asked Lincoln.

Jenny takes some pics. "Oh, well Mrs. Veers said she'll take care of things, the judges will be Principal Ramirez, Coach Keck and our history teacher. She did this so I could take a break from being so busy with the whole event for the past week."

"Oh, well that's nice. Welcome to the Royal Fortress" replied Linka. "How are you handling with all of this tech and advanced weapons to the front line and the realms?"

"This place is so big! And so awesome! My Auntie Katherine is so going to wanna hear about this place, heck she's planning on doing some big interview about you guys soon" replied Jenny as she takes some pics of things.

"I thought it would be nice to bring her here, she's officially the youngest journalist to set foot onto our power housed, military and naval platform" replied Jordan. "Also, we'd have to talk to Martin for that interview to happen."

"Yeah, no clue when he'll be back. But right now, I think we should head off now and who what our talents can truly do in the face of everyone" said Lincoln. They all nod and make their way through the Great Gate.

(Royal Woods Middle School.)

The afternoon has come and everyone has arrived into the Middle School to see this big event, well not sure why some members of the Royal Defenders and a few cast from the Immortal Council are there, weird.

Lincoln looks to the crowd. "Wow. Didn't think we'd have this many guests, I even see Ronnie Anne, Sid, Lori and the girls from college, Hollow, Artanis, Karax, Talandar, Stukov for some reason and why the heck is Thor here?"

Linka and Jordan also see the crowd of people. "No clue, but let's not make this tear us apart" said Linka. They then go to the others who are performing. "Everyone here doing fine?"

They all had no clue how to respond, they all seem nervous about doing this, especially with a crowd bigger than anything they've seen.

"Guys, just because there's this big and awesome crowd of people known and unknown to us, doesn't mean we should let this be our downfall" said Jordan. "This is more of an opportunity to show what we can do, not just to the people we all know and love, but to those who wanna see how truly talented we Middle School newbies are!"

"She's right, let's stay strong, focus and have fun, and also show respect and honor to each other. No matter who wins, what matters is that we gave it our all and we showed what we can all do, and what our talents have given us as we went on with growing up to this moment" replied Lincoln.

"Stand strong, stand together and whatever happens, keep your cool and don't break down" replied Linka. "We know all of you can make this talent show as incredible as we all have done back in Grade School."

The very words from the 3 Commanders was enough to fully motivate them to have all the confidence they needed to make this possible. Then they hear Mrs. Veers make the announcement to the beginning of the Royal Woods Middle School Talent Show.

"Okay guys, this is it and good luck to all of you" replied Lincoln. They were shocked he'd say that, but they know he'd rather get passed the past and look towards the future, and all of them are the future.

First up: Rusty and Richie on the pianos with two Faunus pre-teens on the violins and they're performing the symphony from the Titanic film, which really pulls on everyone's hearts.

They soon feel the passion ignite when they see Kat and Trent perform the tango on stage and they didn't miss a step as they danced.

They soon are dazzled by Emma, Chloe and Sadie doing some K-Pop style dances and also singing?! Whoa what?! Some of the songs are too familiar to Ronnie Anne and Sid.

They soon share some laughs as they see Zach and Giggles perform some comedy and it gets a bit messy and Martin, Victor and Jack Cyber are hit by pies, but they don't mind, it's pretty funny and tasty.

Next was Flat Tire, performing some stunt with his bike, even riding through a burning hoop! Wait what? IS he crazy?! Luckily, he survives and everyone cheers at this performance he did.

Then came Haiku and the new Middle School Morticians Club, and all of them doing an opera style signing on the events of World War 1 and they are all shocked and at a loss for words, and this triggers Leon and Sergei to stand from their seats and salute and shed some tears.

Frida Suarez and her band from Miracle City, the Atomic Sombreros perform some of their songs, it was a bit too loud though. Luna didn't seem amused by this and ignores it entirely, same goes with Sam. Frida was a bit reckless on stage and ended up smashing her guitar.

Then comes Liam and Tabby, both of them performing a duet singing the song "Wake me up." They did not see that coming, nor did they ever thought Liam could sing like that.

They witness more talent, whether it be from some normal kids or from Faunus kids, and all of them are spectacular and are pushing their confidence to show everyone just how talented they are.

With everyone's performance done, Mrs. Veers then makes the announcement. "And now, for the very last group to perform, we know them and love them and they were the ones who helped everyone here keep they're cool. The Three Commanders!"

They all cheer and see the curtains reveal Lincoln on the Guitar, Linka on Keytar and Linka on drums. They then see their friends giving them thumbs up and smiling for them to do their best.

Lincoln looks to Jordan. "You ready for this my love?"

Jordan takes in a deep breath. "A bit nervous, but is it really okay to let me be the lead singer?"

"Jordan, this is your song, so this is your time to shine girl" replied Linka.

Jordan smiles hearing this and she sees all of their friends and family looking to them to see what they can do. The sight of her parents, Ajax and Lopunny was enough to fill her with the will to make this happen, and seeing their friends and the one who has taught them, Luna, was enough to give them a reason to play with all they've got.

Jordan then feels her courage coming. "Okay, let's rock this joint."

They soon start the beat.

(Instrumental.)

Jordan: Awakened by the sun's rays.
Up I rise for the new day.
The same routine that I have changed.
No longer will I stay the same.
My doubts and weaknesses used to reign.
But a new power I have now gained.
To face the day with a new light.
Worries fade away and I'm ready to fight.

Linka: Continue on this winding road.
Strengths within must start to show.
I'll leave behind my selfish ways.
Gonna power up and it starts today.

Lincoln: Beyond my home my journeys told.
That's full of life and love to behold.
The skills I've learned shape how I've grown.
Still so much of this world is unknown.
Through storm and drought I'll travel far.
Over mountaintops, to guide, I'll use the star.
It lights the way through the darkest night.
Illuminating our path, the end is in sight.

Linka and Jordan: Continue on this winding road.
Strengths within must start to show.
I'll leave behind my selfish ways.
Gonna power up and it starts today.

As soon as the song ends, everyone cheers for their song, and they get a standing ovation. "Looks like we made the right choice to have you be lead singer my love" replied Lincoln.

"Yeah, that was so awesome and I feel like I could do that again!" said Jordan.

"Take it easy there Jordan, we can do this again next time, maybe when we ask Luna and the others that we can perform your songs at the recording studio" replied Linka.

They then see their friends backstage cheer for that performance. Soon, they hear Mrs. Veers call out who the winner is. "This is it guys!" said Jordan.

They are soon shocked to hear, that Haiku and her friends were the ones who won, looks like they're opera performance of the old Great War was truly awe inspiring. They all clapped and cheered for them and what they did. Even Lucy was proud at what Haiku and the others did, this is a big victory for the Morticians Club.

"Well, we may not have won, but at least we showed them what we can do with music as an awesome talent" replied Lincoln.

"That's what matters, having fun and seeing how awesome we can be to everyone else" said Linka.

"This has been one awesome talent show, and I am so going to keep this event as one of our awesome memories" replied Jordan.

They are then joined by Luna and the others who arrive to congratulate them on an awesome performance and hug them.

"I am so proud of you guys! You may not have won, but you gave it your all and I couldn't be more happy at how much that song had passion, looks like Minecraft and other gaming has made you three as awesome as we are when we make songs in the recording studio" said Luna.

"If you guys want some of your songs to be made, we can make that happen" replied Sam.

"Thanks!" Lincoln, Jordan and Linka then hug the two musical teens and soon the rest of the family join them.

Gyro and Hollow clap and chuckle seeing this. "They did well, and I have to admit that song gave me some Minecraft nostalgia" replied Hollow.

"What are the odds that one of us is gonna make something delusional in Minecraft next time?" asked Gyro. Hearing that was tempting Martin, he was coming up with a plan to make his own Minecraft server, but how?

Meanwhile, Gyro fails to notice his phone go off, with a text message.
