Spells and Louds
Chapter 460: The arrival part 1.
(October 17. The forest of Royal Woods.)
A massive search party has been deployed and lots of police, white fang and protoss are searching and with the help from Pokémon who will talk to the wildlife about anything they've seen and with them are the Royal defenders, All scattered to different parts of the forest and all of them are on the lookout for a missing boy, Zachary Gurdle.
Lincoln and Linka are high in the sky with their Netherdrakes and keeping search of any whereabouts on where they're friend is. Jordan is flying with them, she's riding a Zerg Overseer, okay that is creepy as hell, but the many eyes make it useful.
Luna and the others are on ground level and searching for any signs and traces on where the boy might be, the parents had to head home and wait for the call and are also being questioned by Martin and Victor.
They managed to rally the wild Pokémon and get them to go to another part of the forest, but some of them wanna help search as well.
It's past afternoon and everyone is still on the search.
"This is Boomer in the Super Kirov, my scanners show nothing on the east part of the forest, I'm gonna make a bee line elsewhere." He makes a hard turn and he flies someplace else, with his new pals, a flock of Spearow. I thought they hated him, what the heck happened?
"Sergei and Leon driving in the Tiger Tank, we got nothing on radar" said Sergei as the Tiger halts in the open fields.
Leon opens the hatch and he looks around with his high tech binoculars. "Nothing, no evidence of any child here. Just signs of Mamoswine that were once here. We're gonna search by the lake." He closes the hatch and the tank drives off, with a herd of Kangaskhan also helping search.
"We finished searching the western side of the woods, I think we're gonna go south west" replied Sunset. She then gathers the rest of her search party and they continue to look around.
Luna places her hand on the ground and the Indoraptor Dominic sniffs the air and he looks to her and shakes his head in response, she pets the dinosaurs head. "It's all okay boy, we can keep searching." She then continues to search with her search party and they brought the Spinosaurus, Shepard and the Velociraptor pack with them to search for the boy and Gwen is leading the raptor pack.
Lincoln, Linka and Jordan continue their aerial search and scan the area they're at. Linka sighs. "Where the heck is Zach anyway?"
"He has to be here somewhere, someone like Zach can't be able to survive out here on his own and it questions where his phone is too" replied Lincoln.
"We made the right call having everyone in town to stay indoors and wait for any announcement" replied Jordan. She uses the eyes of the overseer, but it finds nothing.
Lincoln then looks to Linka. "So, what the heck did you do when you went back to the gender bent world with Leni and Loni?"
Linka turns red. "Oh what? Nothing, just needed to talk to some old friend of mine, I mean friends and I had an awesome time talking with them."
Lincoln and Jordan can tell Linka is hiding something and the Netherdrakes can also see this as well. They know she has something to tell, but they won't push her into saying it.
Just then they get a transmission. "To anyone on this line, I just picked up the signal of a device near the edges of the forest that are by the borders of Royal Woods. Someone get over there, now!" said Penny.
"This is officer's Aerial team, we are inbound to the location!" Lincoln, Linka and Jordan head to the site at full speed. They pass by Boomer who is also headed there and ten Twin blade gunships.
They soon make it to the location and land down, then Luna comes to the spot on Dominic and they look around with their weapons ready. "Everyone, eyes up and weapons hot" said Linka.
They look to the edge of the woods. "Zach! Zach Gurdle, where the heck are you?" said Lincoln. They look all over the place and then Dominic looks to a direction and runs to the spot. "Follow him!"
They all follow the Indoraptor and they see what he's looking at and soon the rest of the raptor pack comes with Gwen riding the alpha. "We came as soon as we heard what you guys found, also everyone else are inbound to the location to see what we found."
Linka then looks to the ground and she sees Zach's phone. "W-What the heck?" They see it's covered in dirt and twigs.
Jordan has some gloves and she picks up the phone and turns it on. "Guys, it recorded something."
"Play it" replied Luna.
Jordan then plays a video that has been saved.
They see the video of the camera shaking and someone is running and then they hear Zach crying as he runs and the sound of some cicada's getting closer, some of the Pokémon in the area are fleeing from his direction and Zach nearly trips.
As he runs he looks back and a shadowy creature is at the distance. He then keeps running and then he sees somewhere he can be safe, and he takes cover behind some fallen logs.
Zach takes a moment to catch his breath and he looks to the camera. "M-Mom, dad to anyone who can find this. M-My name is…" He then turns around and screams and then he runs and something with long black tentacles almost grabs him.
He keeps running and when he turns around, ten trees uproot and start to move towards him. Zach cries and yells for help as he runs, he then manages to evade his pursuer and then he feels like it's safe, but then he realizes. "No, he's still here!"
Zach keeps running and he's nearing the edge of the forest and he looks to his phone. "Mom, dad, to anyone who finds this, my name is Zachary Gurdle and something is here, something has arrived to Royal Woods and it won't stop till it gets people! Do whatever you can, to take it… AAAARGH!" The phone drops and they see Zach upside down and crying. "Please! Let me go!" Zach is dropped onto the ground.
Zach crawls to his phone, but then he's dragged back to the forest screaming. "MOMMY!"
The video then turns black, but then there's some static and this ominous breathing and then nothing.

Everyone is now at the house of the Gurdle family and both of Zach's parents cry seeing this footage on Martin's tablet set to hologram mode. The friends of Lincoln, Linka and Jordan are also there.
Everyone is shocked and confused at the same time, they don't know what to make of what just happened. "Well, that happened" said Leon. "Does anyone even know what happened?"
"No clue, but something was chasing Zach, we don't even know what or who it was" said Sergei. "But it was fast, strong and also powerful."
Neil then thinks. "This…. That sound, those cicadas are like it's way to signal it's coming or something and it seems to have some sort of eldritch might of some sort, from the way those trees just moved and how it was completely silent and still, but we don't even know what we're up against or what it wants."
"Zach said it wanted people, so we have to make sure the town is secured and we double everything we have on patrol, to keep everyone safe" replied Jordan.
"I'm on it!" Jack Cyber jumps out the window and transforms and he takes off.
Penny then walks out of the house. "I'm going to contact the Aegis so we can get some Dominion support as well."
Lincoln thinks about this and he sees his friends are all scared at what happened to their friends Zach, some of them are crying, but Giggles is the one with most tears and Luan and Tabby are trying to comfort her. Seeing this, was not making Lincoln happy, something took his friend and he wants to know what.
Lincoln then looks to the tablet. "Martin, can we enhance the video to get a better look at that thing?"
Martin then takes his tablet. "This is gonna be hard, but I can try. The issue is it seems kinda blurry." He is able to enhance the footage and they see this odd image, but not the full figure.
Then Stella takes the tablet. "Let me take a crack at it." She then starts typing in some codes and adjusts everything in the video, which shocks Martin and Victor. "And we have something!"
Martin whispers to his friend. "We have got to get this girl into FutureTech University, she seems suitable enough for tech and research courses." Victor nods in agreement.
They all see this odd image, a pale white faced creature, wearing a suit and has a red tie. They're all confused at this thing. "That's what took our son?" asked Mr. Gurdle.
"Seems so, it looks weird" replied Linka. "And what in the hell are we even looking at?"
"Looks like some dork in a Halloween costume who bought it off the 50 cents store and was ripped off to the fact it's weird" replied Boomer. They all look to him confused. "What? I read about that one online from my pen pal."
"Dude, way too much information" said Luna. They then look back to the image of the creature.
"Still, what is that thing and is that even human?" asked Simon. He backs up a bit, but Sam hugs her brother, for she can tell he's kinda freaked out.
"That thin gives me the creeps" replied Peter. "The very face of it, well not face of it is just festering ugliness, well no ugliness but you guys know what I mean."
"What the hell is it?" asked Lincoln.
"Slenderman!" They all see Gyro come in and thunder is heard from the distance. He then looks to the tablet and takes it from Stella and he turns it off and breaks it.
"What the hell?! Dude that was mine!" yelled Martin, but then Martin hits him in the head.
"Shut up and listen up, we're in deep shit trouble and that thing won't stop till it gets his hands on everyone in this town or to anyone he deems worth taking" replied Gyro.
They're all shocked at what he just said. "You know about this thing, what was the name you called it?" asked Leni.
Gyro sighs. "Slenderman, its name is Slenderman and it is not human."
They're all confused by the name then Boomer looks like he's about to say something, like he knows. "I….. Have no idea what that is." Leon pulls out a pistol and shoots him in the head and he falls to the ground in pain. "I'm okay."
Luna then looks to Gyro. "Guardian, what the hell are we up against?"
Gyro can see all of them wants answers and so do the parents of the missing boy, so Gyro tells them. "Slenderman, is a being not from this world, or plain and is not supposed to even exist." He then uses his magic and shows them what he knows. "I don't know much about him, only little."
"Slenderman was created by Eric Knudsen, under the pseudonym "Victor Surge" he made this creature in an image thread in the Something Awful internet forum which was for this Photoshop contest, but things went all beyond when everyone loved the image of this being and so the Slenderman kept going and became what is known as, a Creepypasta. He has stories, many of them which change his origin and what he can do and the many false sightings of the fiend."
"But it got worse, two years after Slenderman was created, the man who made him disappeared and his body was found five weeks later, impaled onto a tree at the very top with his organs ripped out by something or someone. Authorities were baffled by this crime and had no leads on who or what did it, then the sightings of his creation became real, all too real!"
"The Slenderman was then seen and sighted in some parts of the world, mostly in the regions of Europe all the way to the United States as well as Mexico. He has come in the form of many tales when people manage to evade him, but most people end up missing and are never seen again, but their bodies do end up being seen after a year or three. Many people just say these are fake and that Slenderman is nothing more than just some tale for people to get content or popularity."
But, when I see Slenderman I see a being who has come into existence through what I call "The Ripple of Existence." When Slenderman came, people started to believe and they kept the belief going and then he became part of the Creepypasta stuff and soon enough, it all changed after that."
Gyro then shows them images of ancient stuff. "His very image was seen inside a book from the Knights Templar and it said that this creature attacked France and then fled after taking ten children, the being was seen on cave drawings with the primitives trying to fight it but are unable, even Egyptian Hieroglyphics which Diane Spellman found that depict it destroyed an entire city."
"Throughout the history we know, it has been altered with this freak of nature coming in and taking what it wants. Its very existence has made it aware it is real and now it seeks to be noticed and then to take down those who crosses it's path, for Slenderman has taken more than 10,000 people throughout America, most escape while some come back to the morgue and now e's here and he won't stop till he gets what he wants."
They're all scared by this and Luna holds onto Lincoln and Leni holds onto Linka, Sam does the same for Simon and he also holds Stella's hand and Jordan holds Neil's hand.
The parents of Zach start to sob, they're son might be found soon, but not alive and everyone else is in fear and the Royal Defenders do what they can to comfort the friends of Zach.
Sunset then asks. "What do we do now?"
"Wait" replied Gyro.
They all look to him confused. "What?!" said Lori in shock.
"We wait, when he does think of coming out when we handle this ourselves with whatever we got. In the meantime, I will head back to Karazhan and find any information on the Creepypasta within the sacred library ten feet below the dungeons, there are so many places where there are way too many hidden books" replied Gyro.
"Guardian, we live near a forest in the north of Royal Woods" said Gwen with worry, she was more worried about Lily, who is back home with Michelle and the other pets and Pokémon and Timmy.
"Slenderman was sighted near Tall Timbers Creek forest, which is the southern turf of the town, so he might not go to the north area, yet" replied Gyro. "We have to double patrols and add more security into the eastern and western parts of the town and put everything on high alert. Slenderman will even cross the path of the town to get what he wants, and we don't even know what he wants."
Lincoln then breaks away from Luna. "Whatever it is, we cannot let the people of Royal Woods go through this assault. We maintain our ground and we stand together and hold the line. Should he come and try something, then we fight him off and when the time is right, we get Zach back!"
They all nod hearing this, and they feel motivated that they can fight Slenderman and save everyone. "We have to make sure everyone here gets home safely, take a Royal Defender and head home, now!" said Linka.
They nod and each member escorts the friends of Lincoln, Jordan and Linka home. Lincoln goes over to the Gurdle parents. "We will find Zach and bring him home, we will do all we can to bring him back, I am not going to let him die."
The parents smile hearing this and wipe away some tears. "Thank you Lincoln, thank you."
Lincoln and the others soon leave the house, they have Immortals now guarding the family's home.
Lincoln and the others look to see lots of aircraft flying by and with their lights on and scanners active, even Nod and Empire of the Rising Sun mechs are walking by and they stay on high alert, Jack Cyber knows how to send the news fast around town.
Lincoln sighs. "We need all the help we can get, chances Slenderman might be after the Great Gate and go after everyone across the stars, we don't even know how powerful he is and we cannot stand against him even if we are going in all together."
They all understand, they need to get more help. Let it be from the protoss, Dominion, the High heavens or Hollow. They need all the help they can get.
They then walk back to their rides and as they do so the Aegis warps from above. "Slenderman will not get away with this!" said Lincoln in anger, he then activates his mask and lightning strikes form the sky.
(Gonzales house.)
Stella sighs as she looks out the window, she can see tons of aircraft fly by and lots of troops on the ground and then an Imperial Star Destroyer comes into orbit and TIE fighters fly out and patrol the town.
Stella then looks to the photo of herself with her friends at the Arcade and she feels like she might lose them. "What the heck do we do now?"
Just then her light starts to flicker. Stella sees this and she gets confused, she manages to fix her lamp and then she turns around and sees the photo is stuck on the wall and the image of Zach has been scratched.
Stella goes wide eyed. "No, no. No! He's here!" A white clawed hand covers her mouth and she looks up and sees the faceless creature, Slenderman and the ominous sound of cicada's and his tentacles moving around the room.
She tries to scream, she breaks free and goes to the door and repeatedly this it, she then turns around and sees he's gone. "What? What the heck? Where did he?" She then sees the photo is on the ground and still scratched.
But she looks closely and she can see that there is something with them, a pale faceless being behind them and then she sees her image is scratched.
Stella starts to shed tears and she backs up, but then she hears cicada sounds and when she turns around, Slenderman is there. She screams and outside, the lights to her room is dark and then silence.
"Stella? Stella? Are you alright?"
"Stella? What's going on up there?"

This Slenderman is based off the film and he is kinda scary, but looks can't be taken seriously. Not all monsters do this for nothing.
