To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. 489. Chapter 489

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 489: Save from Extinction!

Okay, so I have no clue what era is the Disney Film: Dinosaur, being held?So I'm just gonna wing it. This idea was from good reviewer and reader: Indoraptor101. Enjoy reading guys.

(Somewhere in the Early Cretaceous Period.)

The nesting grounds, these are the vast lands rich with water, food and no predators of any sort. Located somewhere in what should be known today as: Canaima National Park, Venezuela. This is the land and home to various plant-eating dinosaurs.

From: Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus, pachyrhinosaurus, Microceratus, Stygimoloch, Struthiomimus, Styracosaurus, an Ankylosaurus and only one Brachiosaurus. Also with them are a band of, Archaeolemurs.

Yeah, I honestly can't believe those are dinosaur names, but some I do recognize, the others are not so much. There are some that existed in the film, but let's just stick to the ones in the herd.

All of them are at peace after their long travel to this land and times have past. Like 5 months or something, and the youngling of the great herd leader have grown into some young Iguanodon. The leader of the herd is Aladar, the Iguanodon who was raised by a band of Archaeolemurs.

Aladar looks around the valley at everything, every dinosaur there is living peacefully and enjoying the life they have now. The food, the water, and each other.

He can see the Brachiosaur Baylene by the trees and enjoying her mid-morning meal, walking along the water's edge is the Styracosaurus, Eema and her pet Ankylosaurus, Url.

He then sees his lemur family with other lemur groups. His adopted mother Plio with her daughter Suri and the patriarch of the lemur band, Yar and then there's Zini, with some other lemurs and hanging out (Get it?) by the trees.

Aladar smirks at all of this, the whole herd and the next generation of their kind all happy with the life they have now all together as one big family. Then his lover, Neera goes towards him. "You enjoying the view of everything?"

Aladar stands next to her. "Yeah, can you believe it's been so long since we all traveled together and now we're all here? We're all together and living peacefully without any troubles at all, and the best of them all is, no Carnataurs."

He then sees all of his little ones go towards him and he goes to the vast grasslands and enjoys some time with them. Neera watches and then she joins in as well, while they also greet the rest of the herd.

Ever since they're new livelihood there in the nesting grounds, all of the dinosaurs see to Aladar as their compassionate and true leader of the herd and all of them are willing to do as he commands in order to survive, and even though things seem peaceful, they have a few dinosaurs act as look outs.

Though, that's Baylene's job since she is the tallest and she has the keenest of sight, sort of.

But then Yar stops eating his fruit and he looks around. He then sniffs he air and so does Baylene. Plio goes to her father. "Dad, something wrong?"

Yar then looks to the sky and is shocked, all of them look up and see some rocks falling from the sky, burning rocks. "Not again! Everyone, run now!"

All the dinosaurs see this and they know what it is, they all drop what they're doing and they make a run for it. Aladar sees this and he gets his children and his mate out of the valley along with the lemurs. "Everyone, to the cave, now!"

Baylene also comes out of the water and some of the dinosaurs motion her to move faster, and the same goes to Eema, who gets some help from some Iguanodon. "I know how to move, don't rush me!" But then a burning rock nearly hits her. "Okay, I'm running!" She bolts for it, which confuses the other dinosaurs. How did she just turn from turtle slow, to Velociraptor fast?

Url also catches up, while carrying some fruit on his back and a long rock in his mouth, as usual.

All the dinosaurs make their way to the cave, but then a large burning rock hits the main entrance of the cave, blocking their only salvation. "No!" Aladar looks around.

Then Baylene gets in front. "Let me handle this!" She lifts up on her hind legs and she tries to bash with her front legs like a battering ram, but then she gets off at the heat from the rock. "This is too hot for me to handle." She then goes back to the lake to cool off.

"Baylene, where are you going?" asked Zini.

She goes to the lake and cools down her front legs, but then a large burning rock is headed towards her. "Oh dear."

But then the large rock is destroyed in mid-flight and then they see this winged creature shooting fire and destroying other falling rocks and what looks like a large creature riding it and then another one flies in. It's Lincoln and Linka, and both are mounting their Netherdrakes.

"Guys, we saved the last Brachiosaurus and we need to get these dinosaurs out of here, now!" said Lincoln. He dodges some incoming meteorites and then blasts them with Mjolnir.

Then a portal is made next to the herd and coming out is a Tiger Tank and it shoots at any incoming meteorites. Neil opens the hatch and looks to them. "Okay, so who here knows how to speak dinosaur?"

Sergei opens his hatch and fires an RPG and destroys the incoming meteorite. "None of us, none of us speaks dinosaur!"

Neil sighs and he stands on the tank and looks to the herd. "Then we're in trouble." He then uses Deathwing's mace and he knocks away some of the meteorites. "Ball game!"

A Frost Wyrm arrives and provides some cover fire from the debris and Luna blasts each and every incoming fiery rock headed towards them. "Guys, we have to get the herd moving now." She then hears some roaring and she looks down into the forest. "We also got some strays in the area!"

"Reinforcements inbound!" another portal opens and coming out is a Spinosaurus and riding it is Becca and Sid. "We got your backs guys!" Then some Triceratops comes out and they go and look for the stray dinosaurs and redirect them back to the blocked entrance of the cave.

The herd is shocked by this large predator with teeth, but it doesn't attack them and also has creatures riding them. "They look like us, but bigger" said Suri.

Then another portal opens and coming out is Dinobot Grimlock, along with Slug, Scorn and Strafe and they also provide some support by knocking off all the burning rocks from the sky.

Aladar is confused by this. "What the heck is going on? What are they?" Then Grimlock transforms and he smashes some rocks away, while Luna lands down and she helps cool down Baylene's hurt front feet.

"Why thank you small and odd creature."

Luna then grabs Frostmourne and she tosses it to the sky and it makes a powerful ice barrier to hold off the meteorites, so Baylene can get back with the herd. Luna gets on her back. "Come on big girl, move it!" She then whistles and her Frost Wyrm flies by. "Knock off anything burning from the sky into ashes!"

The Frost Wyrm takes off and does as the mistress says.

Sergei continues to blast the meteorites, and Boomer is manning the main gun. "This sure beats being in my airship, because if I did bring my airship, then I'd be knocked out of the fucking sky!"

Sergei then gets out and he throws his anchor to grab a cowering Pachyrhinosaurus from the forest. "We need to get these guys moving out of here and sure as heck Hollow might be having issues in space."

(Above the planet's space sector.)

A fleet of ships is bombarding every meteorite headed to earth, and they reduce them to small sizes so they can be destroyed easily by ground support.

Though, the whole fleet is trying to focus fire on the moon sized asteroid inbound at moderate speed.

"Keep blasting it, now!" yelled Hollow. "Give it everything we've got and do not stop!" Hollow looks out his Super Star Destroyer and he can see the armies of the Empire, Incursean and Battleborn are trying their hardest, but this thing is tough and not easy to vaporize. Its moon sized. Even the Catnipians are trying their best.

Hollow then looks to the large object and he uses the force to hold its advance, well slow its advance. "Guys! If you can hear me? Then hurry up down there! This thing is breaking apart and Tiberium is gonna be imminent to the planet!"

He's not wrong, every time they blast it, the pieces come off and Tiberium falls towards the planet. "Oh shit."

(Back to the Nesting Grounds.)

Lincoln and Linka dodge the incoming rocks and they land to the ground and glow green. "Guys, we got Tiberium rocks landing in. What's the progress around the world doing?!"

Penny: North America territory has been secured and all dinosaurs have been moved to Isla Cretacia, also Slenderman is a real great help here in getting the wounded dinosaurs moving.

Leni: We got all the dino's from the European sectors and the last ones are now through the portal and headed to the key islands next to Isla Cretacia.

Jordan: Asia has been saved, no signs of prehistoric reptiles in the zone and are headed to the dimension Gyro said, Ark. We're coming to you guys, what's your status?

Sam: We patrolled the outskirts of the nesting grounds and it looks like that place is the only area where the dinosaurs are thriving, there are some raptors here and the raptors from Isla Cretacia are dominating them and ordering them to move out now! Lincoln, guys what the hell is going on there?

Linka maneuvers past some falling Tiberium rocks. "Not good! We have to find a way to get these dinosaurs to move, how the heck did the dinosaurs from your areas move?"

Leni: Liam and Arlo did, they're gonna head to you guys now.

Boomer stops reloading the tank. "Wait what?" He then loads the main gun and blasts at some burning rocks, which scatter to the ground as Tiberium. "Umm, I think we should stop shooting now!"

Aladar and the herd have no clue what the heck is going on anymore, but then they look up and spot a very, very large rock inbound and it's at atmosphere level and all the dinosaurs are panicking at the sight of this doomsday rock.

The Changs manages to get the stray dinosaurs back to the herd and they see the asteroid. "Oh wow! That is huge!" said Sid.

Just then Arlo comes through the portal and he sees the dinosaurs there, and on his back is Liam who sees the asteroid. "Holy smokes! That thing is huge! Arlo, we have to get them moving, now!"

Arlo nods and he looks to the herd. "Which one of you is the leader of this herd?"

All the dinosaurs look to the green young long neck and Aladar goes to him. "I am, my name is Aladar and what the heck is this?"

Then they see the ice barrier has shattered. Arlo then looks to him. "We don't have time, get the herd through this portal. It'll take you guys some places safe and secured. This world can't be saved anymore, that burning rock will destroy everything and everyone!"

They all look to the burning rock that is being slowed and behind it is the Super Star Destroyer and Hollow is using the force to pull it back. "Come on! Hurry up guys!"

Then Gyro appears and he uses his magic to slow it down, then Lincoln and Luna use the force and also blast waves of ice to slow it down and also cool it down.

Jordan along with Sam and Dana and Becky arrive and Jordan uses her force to slow it down.

The ground shakes and lava is starting to spew out of the lake. "The gravity of the planet is destabilizing! This whole world is gonna be in fuck town at any moment!" said Sergei.

Arlo looks to Aladar. "Look, I know this all looks so strange and confusing, but trust me! Come with us and be saved! We can help you guys make a new home, a new nesting grounds."

Aladar looks around and he sees her mate with their little ones and he sees everyone in the herd is afraid. This was not a Carnotaur and these predator creatures don't seem dangerous either, so he makes the choice and he roars to the herd.

They all look to the portal and then to their leader. "Everyone, go on through. The place will lead us to safety!" said Aladar.

"He's right! Come on!" Arlo leads them through and the Spinosaurus does the same, Becca and Sid get off and help bring the little dinosaurs through the portal.

Then Neil sees the Brachiosaur going through as well. "Guardian, we need a bigger portal!"

"On it!" Gyro makes an incantation and the portal has expanded to the size of Baylene.

"Well, this is convenient." she passes through among the others and so does Eema, Url, Neera and their young, and the rest of the herd follow.

Aladar looks to the rest of the herd going through and then he sees the large asteroid closing in.

Lincoln and the others then break away and go through the portal as the last pachyrhinosaurus goes on through. Aladar and Arlo with Liam follow next. Seeing everything secure and saved, Gyro looks around the land that is now burning.

'This land can't be restored or saved when that thing hits. This'll all be nothing more than a Tiberium wasteland.' He then closes the portal and he warps away.

Hollow can sense this and he stops using the force. "Get the fleet out of here, now!"

The whole fleet starts to steer clear from the blast area. The all manage to back off and watch as the planet, the prehistoric earth is eradicated by this moon sized Tiberium asteroid.

A bright light is made and soon it dissipates and all they see are debris from the planet and what's left of earth is now a growing Tiberium wasteland.

Hollow sighs in relief and he sits back on his chair. "Well, that was bullshit. We can't save the world, but at least the creatures are saved and are living in both the earth of the Defenders and the dimension known as, Ark." Hollow then looks to General Grievous and Commander Mandie.

"Signal the fleet and tell them to take off from this realm, but we will come back for what this planet can offer. It'd be a shame to just leave all of this Tiberium floating around." They ignite their engines and make to lightspeed away from this desolate solar system.

All the life is no more, the planet that had the prehistoric life is gone and is nothing more than a planet rich in Tiberium, where no life can thrive and survive. This could've been the same fate as the world of Command and Conquer.

But Hollow does wonder. "Who the hell sent that Tiberium Asteroid? Unless…." He then realizes. "Get us back to Star Killer Base, I must meditate on this new found revelation.

(Isla Cretacia.)

All the dinosaurs open their eyes and pass through the jungle and they then see the vast grasslands at the northern area of the island.

The place is isolated and is surrounded by a vast mountain range where flying dinosaurs thrive. They look around and see that this place is far vast than the old nesting grounds and the lake is massive and is connected to a river.

Aladar and his lemur family are awe stuck by this, the Royal Defenders along with the dinosaurs with them look to the place.

Arlo looks to Aladar. "This is your new home, I'm sorry your home couldn't be saved."

Aladar nods and so does Neera. "We'll try and make a new living here then." Aladar then roars and all the dinosaurs go towards this new land and explore the wonders of the new Nesting Grounds, even the lemurs join in and so does Eema and Url.

Baylene looks to Arlo. "Where are your parent's child?"

Arlo sighs. "Gone, they're not coming back and I know they would want me to continue with my life."

"Well, you certainly are welcome to our family little one, what is your name?" asked Baylene.

Arlo chuckles. "My name is Arlo, ma'am. And as nice as the offer is, I have to decline. I have a family already and I'm proud to be part of it." Arlo looks to Liam and the others who are all talking and looking to the vast lands.

Aladar sees this and smiles. He knows what the kid feels, heck he was raised by lemurs. "Well, if you ever wanna be with your own kind. Then you know where to find us, but if we do meet, then we all have a lot to discuss. Like figuring out where we are."

Arlo smiles. "Or, he could tell you." He steps aside and the Spinosaurus goes to them.

They are all freaked out by this sharp-toothed predator, but then he speaks. "Do not fear, my name is Shepherd and though I have been made through a process of unholy incidents, I will not eat you kid. I eat fish."

They all calm down. "So, we've scared of this guy fir nothing?" asked Zini.

The Spinosaurus then chuckles. "That is right, fear a creature that can't be what you seem it is. Also, this island you're in has other herds of dinosaurs and here they come."

They spot another herd of dinosaurs, even other Brachiosaurs, which Baylene is relieved to see her own kind. Aladar and the herd had a lot to learn from this land and the world they're in and the people who will watch over them.

Becca gets off of the Spinosaurus and she with some staff members of the island who arrived, go to the new herd and check on their conditions. The dinosaurs of the island calm the new herd and tell them to trust the humans. They just need to see if they have any injuries and other disease.

Sid handles the lemurs and they like her, for once lemurs like Sid. Unlike the one back at the zoo.

Arlo and the others see this and smile. "Well, looks like these guys are secured and safe. But we will have to come by and check on how they're doing" said Jordan.

"Alright guys, let's go home" said Lincoln. They all head back to the main landing base for home, Arlo also follows them with Liam on his back.

Arlo does look back and smile. 'They have a new life here now, just as I have mine in Royal Woods. Maybe I will come by and see how they're doing.'

A/N: Saved the dinosaurs from near extinction, there are some from other parts of the world that arrived there as well, and Arlo may have found some new friends. But Hollow is now on the search for the ones who sent that "Tiberium Asteroid" Could there be a new threat? Leave a review and tell me what you all think.

To Indoraptor101: I know this might not be what you wanted, but you didn't PM me on how we can make this work and so I just came up with what I could think of, at least you came up with the idea of the crossover with Disney's film. Dinosaur.

I had to do some research on the film and locations. So, I just went with what I could find and also the "Tiberium" is from Command and Conquer.
