Spells and Louds.
Chapter 292: Game on Arcaders.
(Gus and Litwak's family fun arcade)
Lincoln, along with all of his friends are inbound to the one place where they wanna hang out and game on. "So, we saw the game stream you guys did of all those random junk in Star Wars Battlefront" said Stella. "What the heck were you guys trying to do to that ewok? It wasn't even a playable character or anything destructible."
Simon chuckles. "I don't even know what we were even thinking at that point, but it was pretty funny."
"Well, it was fun to watch. But right now we should get our game on and….. What the hell is this?" said Tabby. They all see the arcade is surrounded by troops. Peacekeepers, Cops, White Fang and Protoss Zealots.
"Whoa! What the heck is going on here?" asked Zach. "Did someone rob the place?" They all get off their rides and see Neil arrive.
"Kids! I just got back from Ever After High and then I get a call from Gwen's brother about this happening, also did you know her brother Steve works here."
They then see Gwen's brother. "Part-Time job man, good to see ya guys. My boss called the law after he went into the arcade this morning and saw something that's cared him to the core and made him faint."
They're all confused. "Where is he?" asked Jordan. Steve points to the man whose being talked to by Officer Schoffner.
"We'll handle this" said Lincoln. "Come on, we're gonna need some answers, now." They all go over to the man. "Officer Schoffner, thanks for the help. We got this, in the meantime setup a wide perimeter around the arcade and make sure that whatever or whoever is in there does not get out."
"Got it. Also, his words are kinda confusing and I don't know what to make of it. Good luck kid." The cop then walks off to do the perimeter security.
Lincoln and the others go to the shell-shocked man. Neil speaks up. "Augustus Gussard the 2nd. Tell us what you saw, and do it nice and calmly now."
The man think about what he saw. "It was real, it was so real and right there that I didn't know what to do or even make of it, it was like the dream came to life and became a supersized nightmare, it was right there and looking at me and it made me feel… Scared."
Gus looks to them. "Have you all had that nightmare where you try to figure out what's real or not, and then you realize there's no point and you end up seeing the nightmare itself is real?"
They had no clue what he just said. "Sir, as informative and odd as those words are. We need some legit answers now, can you please tell us what you saw?"
The man nods. "It was a monster, a big and yellow round monster that goes around eating berries and being chased by ghosts."
Lincoln then puts it together. 'Wait. Why does that sound familiar?'
"Sir, can you please be specific?" asked Jordan. "What was the monster you saw?"
Then the man answers one name. "Pacman."
They all remain silent. Then Boomer asks. "What?"
"P-Pacman, he's in there, and he's real and tons of others too!" Gus then cowers in fear. "And then the zombie was there!"
They look to the arcade. Boomer was there and heard everything and so did Katherine Mulligan. "Okay, so I understood the whole zombie part, but the Pacman makes him sound like me when I need my morning coffee and I lose my sanity."
"Well, only one way to find out what this is. We have to go in there" replied Linka. She has her weapon armed and ready. "And just when we have a big test on Friday and a dodge ball tournament this Saturday, now this is happening. You all ready?"
The others are armed and loaded. "Locked and loaded and ready for a war zone!" said Neil. He then sees Kathrine talking to Boomer and they both share a hug and Boomer goes to them. "What the hell was that about? Why did she come down from the Airship with you?"
Boomer is nervous. "Nothing. Nothing important, dude." He then puts on his gas mask and readies his toxic scythe. "Let's fuck this shit up people!"
Then a Tiger Tank shows up and Leon comes out and falls down. "I'm here!" He then goes to them. "So, what the hell is the issue?"
They all look to him confused. "Well, look who showed up after his two days of being away. Did you sleep in or did the alarm clock break?" asked Lincoln.
"Bit of both really, my Yamper also shocked me to wake me up after I didn't hear my phone" replied Leon. "And don't judge me to the fact I was in China helping with the singing performance with 12 is Midnight for the League finals guys, also Sergei isn't here right now and neither is Loona."
"Where is Sergei and Loona?" Lincoln arms his weapon and then activates his mask.
"Something about helping I.M.P with some shitty family who's fucked up for sending a teacher to hell after she tried to stop her husband's affair with some bitch" replied Leon. He then takes a deep breath and he readies his Aswang powers.
They all look to him shocked. "What?!"
Leon then has his daggers ready. "Trust me, you do not wanna know. Let's go in people!" He rushes to the arcade with the others following behind. The Troops and cops hold the perimeter and get ready for what might happen.
Leon and the others are now near the door. "Ready to scan." Jordan uses her mask and she scans what's inside the place. "Scan complete and we got way too many beings in there and in different sizes too. One of them does look Pacman shaped for some reason and some of them are small like child."
Lincoln is confused. "What the hell is going on in there? What the heck are we up against?" He then gets a message from his phone. "Luna, Leni and Sunset said they're inbound to our position. We should wait for backup."
"Fuck it!" Leon charges into the building and he gets ready for a fight. "Hands in the….. Holy Shit!"
Leon is then tossed out of the arcade and he lands onto the cop cars hood. "What the F? Was that Bison from Street Fighter?!"
They all go to him. "Leon, what did you see in there? What happened man?" asked Neil.
Leon answered one name. "Pacman."
They look to him confused. "Dude, we don't have time for this repeating weirdness. Also, did you just say Bison? Like, Bison from Street fighter Bison?" asked Jordan.
Leon then takes off his jacket. "Yeah, that Bison, the Bison I am gonna kick ass!" He then has his wrestling boots on. "I'm going in!" He then stops his Aswang powers and charges in yelling. "Leroy! Jenkins!"
They're all confused by this. So they all follow him and go in and everyone is shocked at what they see.
The place has arcade game characters, from every game there. Well, some of the games. Characters from Fix-It Felix Jr, Hero's Duty, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tapper, Sugar Rush, Super Smash Bros and even the Pacman himself and tons more.
All of the characters are watching as Leon takes down Bison, then he fights Scorpion and kicks his ass, then he does an R.K.O onto Ken and then he leg sweeps Shao Khan and then delivers a Five-Star Frog Splash and then he stands tall.
"Come and get some! I'm feeling like Jean Claude Van Dame and I am ready for a fight!"
Leon goes face-to-face with all four members of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and he fights them all while yelling.
"Fire ball! Fire Ball! Upper cut! Downer cut! Bowl of punch!" – okay, so when did he shoot fireballs and what the heck is with the bowl of punch.
With all of this chaos happening Neil has had enough. "Alright that's it!" He goes on top of an unconscious Bison and looks at everyone with his eyes glowing DeathWing red. "Everybody, Shut it!"
They all stop and Leon just punches Raphael and then drops him. Neil then gets off and he helps Bison up. "You okay there big guy?" Bison nods and then sits down.
Lincoln then looks to all of them and he removes his mask. "Alright, what the heck is going on here? Is this some kind of Halloween party, or are all of you lost for a cosplay convention. Because the outfits are so cool." He fist bumps with Sonic. "Damn that is cool."
Linka scans them. "They're not people guys, these are all video game characters and out of their games. What the heck happened?" The video game characters are all shocked by the looks of the kids, they know them. They know all of them.
Then Fix-It Felix Jr and his pal Wreck-It Ralph go to them. "Hello, glad to meet you all and I apologize for what happened, my name is…."
"Fix-it Felix Jr, the son of the original Fix-It Felix" replied Jordan. "So, you guys are real and not normal people dressed as video game characters or even other worldly beings. We can see that."
"Well, I guess you can say we are from another world, the video game world" replied Ralph. "The thing is, we….. Well, it's hard to explain."
"Try us" said Linka. All of the kids from outside come in and see them and are awe struck. The kids are now face-to-face with the characters they have played with and/or against in the arcade and the man who runs the place comes in and sees they're not scary at all, but he does faint.
They then explain what happened.
"Alright listen up troops, so all of us were just minding our own business with the whole place being closed and so we went to visit each other through the one place where we can interact with each other" replied Calhoun.
Lincoln looks to the MC-Cord. "Yeah, we can see that, and we can tell that when the arcade closes, you guys can be friendly to each other and just go about your business till the arcade opens right?"
"That is correct dude" replied Sonic. "But as we were all just gonna be doing what we do and talk things out, some sparks of energy came all over the place and it hit the center of the station and then it split up and traveled to our games. Heck, it looked way faster than me."
"All of us were sucked back into our games and then we were shoved out of the games and now we're all here" replied Mario.
"We all tried to go back in, but nothing seemed to work. We're all stuck here, in the real world, with you guys" said Sour Bill.
Boomer looks to the little guy. "You are the saddest little candy I have ever met and I am not licking you to the core."
Ralph chuckles. "Yeah, he is not a good taste for the mouth." Sour Bill remembers that incident and he shudders in fear from recalling it.
Lincoln looks to the celling and scans it. "Hmm, seems like the Pylon generator may have sent a slight shock of overload while it was pulsating. Must be when all the pylons were undergoing a barrier rework and reconstruction of the main Nexus building outside of the town."
Calhoun looks to some of them. "I'm sorry, who the heck are you kids?"
"The Royal Defenders." They see Vanellope walks towards them with her friends from Slaughter Race. "We know you guys, from online. Seen the footage and all the whacky game streams from her." They see Sunset, Leni and Luna have entered the arcade.
Sunset looks around. "What? What the heck?" She looks to all of them. "Hero's Duty, House of the Dead, Mortal Kombat, Fix-It Felix Jr, Street Fighter, Sugar Rush, TMNT and Pacman! All the games, they're….. They're here?!" She then faints, which Boomer catches her.
"Looks like someone went fan girl on the place." replied Boomer.
They look to Vanellope. "You're the missing character of Sugar Rush. What the heck are you doing with? Slaughter Race?" said Jordan.
Vanellope chuckles. "It's kinda a long story."
Some of them go over and interact with the characters, then Lincoln sees Sgt. Calhoun, with Felix and Ralph go towards him. "Alright kid, or soldier or whatever you do. Mind telling us how we get back to our games?"
"Yeah, because you seem like you know what to do in this place and some of the guys here seem kinda….. Advanced tech stuff" replied Ralph.
Lincoln sighs and he looks to his dad. "Where's the Guardian? Perhaps his magic could help send them back."
Neil checks his phone and calls him. "Hang on its ringing." He then hears the Guardians voice.
"Hello, this is Gyro. I'm not here right now and possibly doing something else, please leave a message after the beep. If you're Boomer, then fuck off you bloody wanker!"
Neil then turns off his phone. "Well, the Guardian is not here, we're on our own and we can't ask FutureTech to help is either, they're still busy with the front line and handling North Korea."
Then Rambo stands next to him. "I always knew those guys were no good."
Neil is shocked to see this man, then he sees the arcade named. "Rambo: First Blood" "I did not see that coming, so now we got Sylvester Stallone stuck out here with us. Sergei is gonna freak out!"
Rambo looks to Neil and asks. "Who the hell is Stallone? He a soldier? And if so, what country is he from?" He then has his machine gun ready. "And this Sergei, he sounds Russian."
They had nothing else to say to him, then Lincoln has an idea. "I think I know someone who can help, he's the one who knows more about Pylon engineering than anyone. I can contact Phasesmith Karax and he can help sort this out and send you back to your games."
"Well alright, so let's call this Phasesmith guy and see what he can do" said Ralph.
Lincoln then tries to contact him, but all he gets is a message from the Mothership where Karax is.
"Greetings Commander Freezer Burn, Phasesmith Karax is not available today. He is currently assisting in rebuilding the shattered Khalai research facility from the last incident with the Hybrid assault. But I will inform him you have contacted him for something urgent."
Lincoln then turns off his communicator. "Okay so Karax us busy with something we did last time during the Hybrid fight, looks like we're not gonna be able to get them back into their games for a while."
Gus goes to them. "So, does this mean they can't go back in?"
Linka sighs. "I'm afraid so sir." She then looks to the others. "Sorry guys, but you're all stuck here until we can get some help to send you all back."
Gus felt upset by this, but not because of his business, because they still sell pizza and have games that don't have characters, such as Skee ball, basketball and the claw machine. He was upset that these guys can't go back to their games which are they're homes and he recalls that his relative, Litwak was a man who loved all his games and he wants to show the same thing to them as well.
Gus then looks to all of them. "I have an idea, it sounds kinda crazy but it could help keep these guys occupied while they can't go back."
The Royal Defenders know what he's talking about. "We can see where this is going and if we're gonna let them stay in town. We need to lay down some ground rules" said Jordan.
"Hold up! You want us to stay here, in your world?" asked Bart Simpson.
They look to the video games characters. "Yes, yes we will and it's the only way to keep you guys busy and feel like you got some purpose left, before we send you guys back" replied Lincoln. "But we will lay down some rules so no one here does anything evil, got it?!"
The villains all look to each other and nod. "We can work with this child, we may be bad, but it doesn't mean we can be good" replied Professor Eggman.
"Also, we're not all evil kid. We're all just doing what the programming wants us to do" replied Clyde (Orange Ghost from Pacman.)
This was something they all have to get used to and Mayor Davis is there. "Wow. Well, time to have a meeting about this. Now, which one of you is like the leading role in this?" the hero video game characters raise their hands. "Okay, this will be tough."
Lincoln then sees Jordan petting something and so does Sgt. Calhoun. "Cy-bug!" She has her gun ready, but Jordan stops her.
"Hold it! This guy doesn't seem dangerous, so do not shoot him!" She then pets the head of the Cy-bug. "This guy's cute and I thought they were….. Mindless programmed bugs!" She looks to Neil who also sees this.
"Oh shit. Looks like we might have some new essence and race for the Swarm" said Neil.
Yup, they have a lot of things to deal with. Now that they have some new temporary guests in town.
Sergei walks in. "Hey guys, what did I miss? We took down the vile family and…. Oh god! Is that Rambo?!"
Rambo looks to Sergei. "And you must be the Russian man." He then has his machine gun ready and he wraps the ammo belt to his left arm. "Well Mr. Russian man." Everyone else backs away. "I'm you're worst nightmare!"
He then shoots Sergei, but Sergei doesn't move and all the bullets pierce through his body while looking shocked at the sight of Rambo. Yeah, Sergei can't die. Let's recap the Guardian kinda gave him unkillable powers, but he can still feel pain.
Rambo then yells and he continuously shoots Sergei.
Leon sighs. "This is gonna be one helluva week for us."

A/N: There are tons of Video Game Characters to go through and they will have to adapt to staying in the real world and wait till they can go home, but chances they might find a way for them to come in and out of the video game world. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
