Spells and Louds.
Chapter 293: Arcaders in Town.
(Somewhere in Royal Woods.)
Lincoln along with his Pokémon Absol are on the Vulture Bike and stop at a red light. Lincoln looks to his left and he can see some arcade characters going around town and doing what they can to help out, they're all gonna have to stay and find some way to occupy themselves before they get sent home.
They all have a plan on what they can do for the town, since each character has their own personality that makes them who they are and so here it is.
Tapper is helping run the bar and he seems quite fast when he does this and helps quicken the work at any bars in town and everyone appreciates this, but the one place that likes him the most is the one with the bikers in it. Also a place for some of the arcade characters to go as well.
Wreck-It Ralph and Fix-It Felix Jr are by the construction sites. They help the Faunus, humans and Pokémon with construction and demolition, and Felix goes around town and helps improve some places that need some reinforcements to their homes. Talk about fast and sturdy renovations.
Felix even makes some homes for some of the arcade characters to stay in at some very large empty lots that were once abandoned warehouses.
The Nicelanders from the game "Fix-It Felix Jr." are doing well living life as if it were as normal s their home back in the arcade. Though not all of them are living in one super tall apartment, it was alright with them being in some buildings that just feel like home. Thanks Felix.
The games who have been unplugged, such as Q'Bert are also going around town and helping out and also having some fun with the kids who know who they are, sorta know who they are.
Shank and Vanellope Von Schweetz, along with their racer pals are having a blast going around the race tracks of Royal Woods, and they even do the same when they go to Beaverton and Hazeltucky. Giving people some entertainment as they race around the tracks and they seem like a good challenge to Bobbie Fletcher as she races them as well.
They managed to find them some cool cars to drive around.
Also, because Shanks and her crew are there in they're world. They had to lie that the game "Slaughter Race" is going under a maintenance and that they will put it back up soon. They also made this deal that when the game comes back up, everyone gets extra XP and some loot boxes with cool gear, the best way to say sorry for the issue.
As for the other races of Sugar Rush, they needed to find them someplace to enjoy some racing and they find it at the Royal Woods Go-Kart race track. It might not be Sugar Rush, but it'll do and Lana enjoys racing with them as well and why the heck is Lola doing the same?
Sonic loves to let the kids see how fast he can go, so he makes some obstacles and goes as fast as he can to show them how awesome he is. Seriously Sonic, not too much ego on the place dude.
Sgt. Tamora Jean Calhoun is at the Allied outpost outside of town and she's training some troops some of her ways when it comes to combat and they are kinda rough and harder than the normal boot camp sergeant, she is scary and now they know how the guys from Hero's Duty feel
Some of the fighters from Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat show off their moves when they clash and teach some karate and other martial arts classes. Even if they take so much damage from each other, for some reason they regenerate and are fine. Which means a programming of them not dying is still there.
And as promised, none of the villains are to cause any form of trouble, but truth be told, they're all not bad guys, they're all good guys inside when they feel like it.
Even Prof. Eggman, who is teaching some robotics inventing at the Community College.
The population of Royal Woods seems to have doubled in size, but they try to make do with what is going on and work together. This isn't the first time they have had new guests as part of their lifestyle.
Lincoln also recalls one thing, the Cy-Bug with Jordan has been introduced into the Swarm and what his dad said, and they might have a new kind of Zerg species within the Swarm, one that could be as useful as the whole Zerg armies combined.
Lincoln chuckles seeing all of this. "Well, at least everything's gonna be okay for everyone before we can send them back home." The light turns green and Lincoln drives forward.
The crossing guard of the day is one of the donut cops, and don't worry they make sure the animals do not attack some of the candy citizens.
Lincoln continues his drive, then he sees a Protoss Mothership has come into orbit above town. "Looks like we got company. Karax is here."
He then drives off back to Gus' Games n Grub and he contacts the others. "Everyone Phasesmith Karax has arrived, it's time to see what the problem is for a=our arcade friends in being here, Sgt. Calhoun make the signal, now!"
As Lincoln drives to the arcade, a flare has been launched into the sky and all the Arcade game characters know what that means. Time to go back to the arcade.
(Spellman Hell Mansion.)
Neil arrives to the home of Sergei and Loona, and also the home of Leon and he sees Sergei with a video camera and he's recording Leon. "What in the hell are you doing Sergei?"
"Recording Leon, he said he wants to send this video to Dana" replied Sergei. Neil then sees Leon is wearing a white sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and black shades and while hosing the flowers nearby and the wind in his hair.
"What is this supposed to mean to Dana? Is this supposed to turn her on and call him?"
"Possibly, but it is about to get interesting" chuckled Sergei. He continues to record this and smiles.
Neil is kinda confused by this. "Interesting how? Also, why the hell are you smiling?"
"Wait for it." They then see a condor flies in and attacks Leon from behind. They watch as Leon panics from this large bird attacking him.
"Oh god! Shit! Fuck! Get this bird off of me! Somebody, help me!"
Neil and Sergei just watch as he runs around and is getting pecked and scratched by this angry bird for some reason. "Should we help him?" asked Neil.
"No, Leon said that I should keep recording and do not stop and so I shall not stop and I will keep going" replied Sergei. "This is also kinda fun too."
Neil sighs. "I question the two of you so much. Also, I thought you'd be chilling with John Rambo by now? What the heck happened to the guy who's a fan of Sylvester Stallone and his yelling?"
Sergei scoffs. "I wish, the guy hates me. He hates me so much, that every time I go near him, he keeps shooting at me and yelling. I'm starting to regret watching his movies so much."
Neil chuckles. "Well, serves you right man." Then he sees the flare and the Protoss Mothership. "Looks like Phasesmith Karax is here, time to send the Arcaders back home now."
Neil looks back to Sergei. "You coming man?"
Sergei keeps recording Leon who is still getting attacked by the condor. "No thanks, I'm good." Then Yamper arrives and saves his master, by shocking Leon and the condor and this makes Sergei laugh. "This is so going to be fucking posted!"
Leon is on the ground and in pain. "No it's not! No it is fucking not!"
Neil sighs. "Idiots." He then takes off on his Deathwing Wings and flies back to the town and towards the arcade. They have a lot to do to get these guys home.
(Gus' Games n' Grub.)
The protoss Phasesmith Karax is using his Probes to scan the whole arcade and the characters are outside waiting for the results, along with some of the Royal Defenders: Neil, Lincoln, Linka, Jordan, Boomer and Luna.
Then the Protoss Phasesmith comes out. "So, what's the results, Karax?" asked Linka.
Karax then shows them the hologram of what he found. "It appears that each of the machines of these games have some sort of unique energy signature, which is closely related to the dimensional warp technology from the Chronosphere and the essence of the Great Gate."
"Through this with the aid of a powerful energy source, the Game Central as you call it was able to generate enough power to make a gateway for the game characters to come out of their world and into this one. So, in short terms it is a smaller and a very stable version of the original Great Gate itself."
They are shocked by this finding. Then Prof. Eggman speaks. "So, what you're saying is we're here through a portal anomaly? One that is made from our own arcade machines designs and unique energies and with the help of that crystal above the building that you call a Pylon."
"Precisely and I am impressed at how remarkably intelligent he at guessing this, for a non-Terran you are almost as intelligent as the simple Protoss engineer, who is he again?" asked Karax.
"My mortal enemy who keeps losing" replied Sonic.
Prof. Eggman sighs in annoyance. "I don't wanna talk about it."
"Right, well I think I can be able to make the same kind of machine, for it to act as the way for them to go home and continue with their original programming. This is almost as similar to the purifiers Conclave" replied Karax.
"Do you need some help making this machine sir?" asked Felix with his trusty hammer.
"No need Mr. Fix-It. I have all the materials I need from the Mothership. Once I have finished my work, then all of you can go back home" replied Karax.
Though, some of them feel uneasy about this, they all feel like they wanna go back to what they do. But it seems like they're happy at what they have to experience in the world outside the arcade and the programming. To be among the folks who played with them and help them out or talk about some stuff, like normal people, well sorta normal people. As normal as it gets.
Lincoln and the rest of the heroes can see this, Jordan looks to Karax. "Karax, how about instead of a machine, you make a gate."
The Phasesmith looks to Jordan. "I don't follow? Why would I make a gate? It would seem similar to….. To the Great Gate, but smaller, like the smaller sized dimensional gate at the back of the home of Spellman Hell Mansion."
Karax looks to all the faces and the whispers of the Arcaders. "Yes, yes. I see now. I shall make this gate, and it will act as a two way line for the citizens of this arcade and to this world."
The rest of the characters are shocked by this, then Ralph looks to Lincoln. "Kid, what the heck are you guys doing?"
"Yeah, I thought we were going home and now there's gonna be a gate?" asked Vanellope.
Then Gus comes forth, the man who runs the arcade. "I think I know what they mean everyone. I can see just as they do, that all of you have been enjoying the life here in the real world. Like any normal and free being wants in life."
"Sure you guys maybe some programs that were made for the entertainment for the masses, but after seeing all of you enjoy yourselves, it's pretty clear that you're more than just some old fashioned games. You guys are a community of living, breathing beings."
He then sees the zombies. "Okay, sorta living beings. But you guys get the idea. I think the best solution to this, is to bring the best of both worlds together."
Then Neil speaks up. "To let the people of the arcade come and enjoy the life standards of the real world and also take a break sometimes, when you guys feel like it."
They all think about this, and some of them like the idea. But folks like Shanks and her crew can't take a break, they have to keep doing what they do when it involves other players wanting her car. Which, they can accept that.
Calhoun sees this and she speaks for all of them. "I'm pretty sure everyone here is on the same page. I think we'd like to have a break sometimes from our daily arcade work."
This makes them all happy to know, and Lincoln looks to Karax. "I think you know what to do Phasesmith."
Karax nods. "Commencing construction of the Game Central Gateway." He uses his knowledge and skills and his probe assistants to help construct what they need to make a gate that will bridge the world of Royal Woods and the world of the arcade system.
Lincoln and the heroes watch as the Arcaders are talking about what they can do the next time they need a break from the arcade stuff they do.
"Well, looks like we got ourselves some cool new citizens who know how to put on the game face for town" said Luna. "What do you think little brother?"
Lincoln smirks. "I think this is the start of a whole new kind of change." Then they get a notification from Martin.
Martin – We did it! We have successfully taken down North Korea and the war is done and over. I can't believe that bastard and his sister killed themselves to avoid getting into trouble, talk about pulling an Adolf Hitler! We're gonna be inbound back to your town to tell you guys how we're gonna negotiate making the land into one whole Korea once more.
Lincoln and the others are shocked, but are happy. "Looks like things are now turning into our favor once more" replied Neil. Then he recalls. "Oh yeah, um Leon is getting attacked by a condor."
They all look towards him. "What?!"
