Chapter 514: A Grimm change.
(Royal Woods, Mayor's Hall.)
The location is now a hotspot with tons of news crews from Royal Woods, all the way to Great Lakes City and thank goodness they finished their Royal Woods Middle School gaming tournament with Royal Woods being the victor against Beaverton. They should be celebrating, but right now they all must get together and listen to this big announcement made by FutureTech' finest.
Lots of people, and Faunus and Protoss are all waiting for the man to be shown to make the announcement, but they're also confused as to why there are tons of security around the place, almost like they have to prepare for something, something big.
The Royal Defenders are on standby and are keeping a close eye on what could happen, Jack Cyber is standing fast and ready to deploy the Chronosphere on Martin's command.
In the Mayor's Town hall; Martin is going through his speech and his announcement to the plan.
"Oh shit. This is it, this is it. Time to tell the world all about the plan we have for freeing the enemies of Remnant. How in the hell are they going to react when they hear of this?"
"They won't panic." He then sees the leader of the White Fang and all Faunus on earth, Sienna Khan. "They will calm down and they will listen, they know not to panic when trouble comes and to not use force unless the time is necessary. Though, I for one do not seem to like the whole Grimm being freed idea."
"You actually believe that the plan you have to free the Grimm could work? Even after all the hellish torment they have placed upon the good citizens of Remnant, to all the humans and Faunus. How do you know the plan will work?"
Martin sighs. "I don't, but we can give it a try. I will commence my test soon, next week perhaps. I will head out to Remnant and test the Xel'Naga keystone on an area where the Grimm are being controlled and also see what happens when the big guy is back on Remnant."
"But to do so, you'd have to ask for the Guardian to send you back to Remnant" said Sienna Khan.
"Which is why I intend to make the plan next week, Pyrrha Nikkos said that Gyro's energy signature has been detected and he's back in our realms and chances he'll come to our world and I can ask him about the whole thing" said Martin.
"Sienna Khan, I know how much damage the Grimm have done to your world, but you must remain calm and believe. Believe that this plan of mine will work, and that there could be a way for Humans, and Faunus to live alongside Grimm and turn the tide of war against Salem."
Sienna Khan sighs. "We shall see, through the speech and announcement you make shall I be a believer."
Then a Protoss warrior goes to them. "Mr. McKenzie, it is time."
Martin nods. He then walks out of the mayor's hall and he stands at the podium and looks to everyone waiting for the big announcement he has to make, and so are the news crews and he also sees the woman who Boomer is in relations with, Katherine Mulligan.
Martin sighs. 'This is it. Time to make this happen.'
He sees at the rooftops are victor and Tadashi and they nod to the FutureTech boss and also give him a thumbs up.
Martin smiles and he looks to everyone. "Well, this is a day none of us saw coming. Good afternoon citizens of Royal Woods and to those watching to Great Lakes City as well. You all know me as Royal Defender member, Tech Sector but I also go by Martin McKenzie, head and CEO of FutureTech the largest tech company in both common civilian lives and military technology."
"I know it has been a week since that whole event, but I would like to officially greet and say welcome to our world, citizens of Mantle and those of Atlas as well. Some of you are trying you're best to adapt to the changes this world has to offer and also have tons of new things to look through, but I can assure you all that things here on earth is nearly as the same as to that on Remnant."
"Things haven't been going so well, we have recent reports that…. That one of the members of the council on Atlas has been shot by… By General James Ironwood."
This shocks the humans and Faunus of Mantle and feel as if that the General truly has lost it.
"And I know some of you are wondering when can all of you go home, well I don't have all the answers, but we have a plan and when the day comes then we execute the plan and then we can figure out how we can reclaim Mantle from the grip of the Grimm and Atlas and Salem."
A Faunus news reporter raises her hand. "Mr. McKenzie, this plan of yours, how will this work with the presence of Salem and to the fact she has been one step ahead, even against the Huntresses and Huntsmen."
Martin sighs. "We have the plan on how to take Atlas and stop Ironwood, but the plan for Salem is something that could prove a vital achievement in order to end the chaos. From what we know….. Salem cannot be stopped, she is immortal and cannot be able to be killed so easily, which is why the part of the plan is to get the relic out of Atlas and into secured hands."
"But the other plan is to be far more than one step ahead of her, and that plan is to bleed her army out. We know she has sent thousands, more than hundreds of thousands of Grimm to Mantle and our front line forces of the GDI are keeping them off a saving survivors and keeping them safe onto one of the Black Tortoise war platforms outside at the seas of Mantle."
"The plan to bleed her army out, is for her to lose control of her army."
"And how do propose you do that?" asked one of the news reporters from Great Lakes City, who is from Mantle.
"You all know how ants, termites and bees work right?" asked Martin. "And the same thing with Vespiqueen and most Pokémon with hive minds, this is also the same kind of nature from the Zerg, which many of the protoss know from experience."
Some of them are confused, they have all heard the stories about this kind of thing and it's even in biology class. One of the protoss warriors ask. "And what does this have to do with the creatures of Grimm?"
"They have the same thing, a mental hive mind" said Martin. "The Grimm are controlled by Salem, just as Kerrigan controlled the Zerg and are still under Zerg control right now with the Swarm Lord." Neil from the distance waves at Martin, which makes him chuckle.
"We intend to use this." Martin then signals Victor and the Chronosphere warps in the pedestal with the Xel'Naga Keystone. This shocks everyone even the protoss.
"I spoke with HierArch Artanis about this, and he has let me take command of the same keystone used to drive Amon out of the Khala from the Protoss and thrust him back into the void, we can use this to remove the dark commands and influence of Salem from the minds of all the Grimm in Mantle and Atlas. Through this, they will be freed from her control, and they will be as normal as independent animals."
The same Faunus reporter asks. "How do you know this will work?"
"Because it does." Martin snaps his fingers and Jack Cyber creates a large portal and coming through is something everyone in Royal Woods and Great Lakes thought they'd never seen before. "I'm sure you all know this monster."
They all see the Grimm Alpha Megoliath, walking towards the town hall, it looks to the people and then to Martin and goes towards him.
Martin goes towards the Grimm with his microphone drone. "To those who are seeing this for the first time, this is a Grimm Alpha Megoliath, these beasts are superior and far more resilient to the normal Megoliath's on Mantle, they survive harsh winters and learn when not to engage humans or they will die, this one is on our side and is not under the command of Salem."
"You freed it?" asked Katherine Mulligan.
Martin looks to all of them. "Yes, yes I did and this thing is a he. As it turns out, releasing the Grimm from the control of Salem has unlocked some traits of DNA genetics, which means once they are freed, they have genders and they're own self-consciousness and they become aware of what they're doing and what the choices they make are."
"The plan is, to do a test run on the Keystone. Set out to Mantle and deploy onto a large group of Grimm, if they are freed from her control, then the plan can be in motion and we can drain her army. All of them."
"The Grimm then places it's trunk on his head. "Alright, alright. Take it easy, we can play later big guy." The Grimm then uses it's trunk to look for something in his jacket. "What the hell are you doing?"
The Grim Alpha Megoliath then grabs his chocolate bar and eats it, everyone is aw struck, it acts like a simple Elephant, or like the mammoths that have been revived and are now residing in Canada and Russia.
The people and Faunus of Great Lakes City are also astonished, the Grimm is not acting like any of the Grimm they have fought against on Remnant, and it was acting like a simple animal doing what it can to survive and also interacts as normal elephants known across the world..
Martin chuckles and then looks to the people. "As you can see, this one is not hostile and ever since I released it from the control of Salem, he has not left my side, as if he wishes to repay me for what I did. He is as common as an elephant companion in the areas of India and Malaysia."
"And this is the first step, the next one is to try this on other Grimm, but they do seem to have a trait that can detect the emotions of people and animals, such as the common trait of all Grimm. But he will not lash out, unless the being is a threat to itself and to those who are friends with it."
"There is a fighting chance to save Mantle, and Atlas and send Salem back to the pit where she crawled out of. She made the Grimm, but the Grimm are just like any other living creature that is born, lives and dies and all of them have their own sentient thoughts and choices, they just don't know how to free themselves from Salem to do so."
"If this plan does work, then we can go back to Remnant and stop Salem, but the date to that operation is unknown. Might not be tomorrow, or the day after or even next week, but I can assure all of you that when the time does come, then we can go back to Mantle and tell Salem, that we're back and we're ready for a fight and we will fight."
"The plan will work and we will win."
"I am not forcing of even asking all of you to be part of what I have in mind, but I just wanted to inform the citizens of Mantle and Atlas, the former citizens of those places to see that there is a chance, a chance to save everything you all worked hard for and perhaps also work to live in peace with an enemy that didn't know any better."
"So, this is all I have to say; we have a plan, we know what to do and soon we will go back to Mantle and Atlas and we will stop Salem and her army, and then save Remnant from her dark and twisted grasp."
Everything remains silent, then some of the people and the Faunus and soon all of them, especially the protoss clap and cheer at this, but not just them. But the folks throughout Royal Woods and those watching at Great Lakes City also cheer.
They are now feeling hopeful and fierce pride with the chances of going back home and fighting back against Salem and that this freed Creature of Grimm is just the beginning.

Martin goes to the back and he takes a breather. "Oh shit, that was tough."
"Indeed it was." Martin sees Sienna Khan and the rest of the Royal Defenders. "I thought this plan of yours would be a failure, but after hearing what you had to say, now I am a believer of this and I am willing to provide my aid as well as the White Fang for when the time comes to free Mantle and Atlas."
"We're all with you, all of us" said Linka.
"You won a lot of hearts out there man" said Luna. "Everyone has high hopes the plan will work."
"And the people of Mantle and Atlas can be able to go home" said Gwen.
Martin gets up and he looks outside to the folks going to the Grimm Alpha Megoliath and some of the kids are given a ride on its back with Jack Cyber keeping an eye on them, some of them even feed the beast.
"Yeah, soon they will go home. But, I need to run a test on the Artifact that if it can be able to neutralize an army, and I will."
"But the path to do that, is to wait for Gyro to come back and give the go on the whole test run" said Becky.
"I'm back."
They all turn around and see someone walking out of the shadows and is wearing shades and has a slight scar on his chin, it's Gyro! Why is he wearing shades? Why does he have this small scar and why is there a Terminator theme song?
"Gyro, dude where the hell were you?" asked Leon.
"I'm back."
"Okay, but seriously man. We had to face an alien army attacking a planet and another earth, and Pyrrha did a good job as a guardian" replied Sam.
"I'm back."
"We get it, you're back so stop with this Terminator shit" said Neil. "What the hell are you doing back now?"
"And did you hear about the plan Martin has?" asked Jordan.
"I did and I have been gone for so long, what year is it?" asked Gyro.
They all remain silent, so Leni speaks. "It's December 12, 2020. What's going on?"
Gyro sighs. "Looks like I didn't leave that long, also we have a realm that could use our help, some law enforcement and heroic help."
Now this gets their attention. "Which realm?" asked Lincoln.
"Wherever this little guy came from." Gyro shows them the little guy strapped to his back.
"Hello." The little guy is yellow all over the body, wearing overalls with a G symbol in the middle, black gloves, black boots, and has a single goggle for his single eye and has some black hair on his head. The little guy seems to be in an oval sort of shape.
"What the hell is that thing?" asked Boomer.

A/N: Soon, they will go back to Remnant and free Mantle and Atlas from the grasp of Salem and the corrupt insanity from General Ironwood (once Season 8 of RWBY is over), but right now they have to get, Despicable! Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
