To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

525. Chapter 525

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 525: Almost time for the merriness.

(December 23. Royal Woods Mall.)

At the Royal Woods Mall, everyone is doing some last minute shopping for some gifts and other items, also this is the last day for the mall to be open and then it'll be closed till December 27, so everyone lock, stock and get ready people!

Teens, parents and kids all go around and see what is new and what is now on sale before it's too late and others are in line to speak with the Santa there, who is a Mall Santa and is Mr. Grouse? The old man has volunteered to be Santa for this moment in the mall, to be nice to all the kids before he leaves to celebrate Christmas with his family.

Leni, Linka along with Miguel and Fiona look to the store and they see that almost all items have been sold. "Well, looks like it's time to close up shop" said Mrs. Carmichael.

They all nod and begin to pack up, they have to make sure that everything in the storage will be ready for when they reopen again, soon."

"I wonder how the family is doing back home" said Linka.

"I'm sure they have the place all dealt with, I mean the decorations are done and there's no need to do anything but get ready for tomorrow when we celebrate it with the others" replied Leni. She grabs her bag and with Linka, they head out of the store and back to her car.

(Spellman Estate.)

Neil and Michelle go through the cook book and same with Gothitelle and Courage.

"Okay, so we should all cooperate when we make the chocolate and vanilla cake, then we can handle making everything else" said Neil. "This is gonna be one tough and long ride for all of us."

"No kidding, at least it's not fruit cake, but I think the louds would've had that one covered" replied Michelle Lewis. She then goes to another page. "Are we cooking duck or chicken?"

"How about both?" Luna opens the fridge and they see the two ducks and two chickens. "We bought two for a reason, you never know when something bad could happen and we need a spare."

"Not wrong guys" said Gwen as she comes in with Absol and Garchomp and Lily riding on Absol. "We're not gonna be celebrating her remember? The first time we're gonna have Christmas at a friend's home."

"Then let's get to it and have the marinating sauce ready before we take off tomorrow, I wanna make it early so we don't waste time" said Neil.

Luna and Lincoln go and help them, while Sunset and Duchess come back into the house with the gift wrapping they bought so they can all wrap up the presents they have for the other family.

Then Neil realizes something as he puts on his chef hat. "Do you guys think Leon and Sergei are gonna be doing alright without us tag teaming with them for their cooking?"

(Spellman Hell Mansion.)

Leon and Sergei are already making the food that are needed and at good speed as well. They make sure the food is kept reserved and warm within something Martin McKenzie has given them, the time lapse containment cabinet.

The food will be fine in there as they wait for the day to come.

"Okay, so we finished the stew and the beef, and the pies. We did good brother" said Sergei.

"Now that's what I call tag teaming in the kitchen! Boom baby!" Leon high gives with his brother. "I think we earned some rest."

"Damn straight." Sergei locks the cabinet and then they walk out of the kitchen and see the pups, Fenrir and Felicia reading a book and Loona reading something. "What's happening here?"

Loona looks to them. "We got trouble, Alastor just got word that Krampus is inbound to a town in Europe and is about to tear apart the Christmas in one of the small towns in Germany."

Sergei and Leon read this. "We can't stop this, can we?" asked Leon. Loona looks away to the fireplace with some guilt, and that was the answer they need.

Sergei sighs and stands next to his hellhound wife. "We can't stop that bastard demon Santa, he has his job which is an opposite of Santa Claus, and all we can do is contain. So we must report this to FutureTech to ensure no one else in Germany knows of this town and what is about to hit them."

Leon nods and he goes to make the call, to FutureTech about what's going to happen soon.

(Royal Fortress.)

Somewhere the large naval and aerial base is stationed and not moving near the coasts of California and Martin and Victor have the whole place decorated.

"This is nice" said Victor. "Our first time to have Christmas without being in town, the first time the Pingrey's and the Jill Miller's will be coming here for Christmas."

"Even though there aren't much in folks here." Martin looks around and sees the hangars and garages are empty, they sent their troops and staff home for the holidays, but they'll be back on the 27th of December.

"I know it'll be one moment we'll have with each other, a shame Jack Cyber can't be here."

GLADIS then comes out from the runway. "Jack Cyber chose to enjoy his holiday alongside his lover, Bobbie Fletcher, but this is also the first time we're doing this without Penny Polendina."

Hearing this was making Martin feel bad. "Yeah, that too. Sure wish I could see her and tell her a Merry Christmas." He then looks to the ocean. "Our first ever Christmas, and without Penny to celebrate with us."

Victor stands next to him. "Hang in there man, one thing we know is that she has a job and that job is to make sure that Mantle and Atlas are saved. Let's be happy that she's' back home and doing what she can to save it."

Martin smirks. "Yeah, you're right. Also, this is the first time we're gonna celebrate with our newest members. GLADIS and this big beast." The Grimm Alpha Megoliath walks towards them and he nudges them with his trunk.

Victor chuckles. "Yeah, look on the bright side and let's wait for the two family's to come here and…" He then gets a text from Leon and he reads it.

"Whose it from?" Martin also reads it and so does GLADIS and this shocks them. "Oh shit."

"I know what to do." GLADIS deploys drone fighters and droid transports to send in some forces to secure the outer perimeter of this town, to make sure no one comes to the town when Krampus hits.

They can't stop Krampus, but they can keep folks from going in. Krampus has his will and power to do what is necessary, and to make sure that the Christmas in that town is not so merry and more on bloody, but they all feel bad for whoever the kid is who asked for this wish. The wish for Krampus to come and ruin Christmas, for all in that little town, in Germany.

(In another dimension.)

The Guardian Gyro is in his raven form and he flies through a portal and through it, he reaches another dimension and this dimension is a world of Guardians, but not like him, these Guardians are special and have been chosen for a damn good reason.

Gyro has arrived, to the North Pole, but as he flies he realizes something. "Oh good lord! This place is freezing."

He then flies towards a house, but this is no house, as he flies through the open window he then morphs and walks through, the halls and he passes by some Yeti's. "Hey Phil."

The yeti speaks to him about North waiting for him. "Yes, yes. I know, and I'm here now, at the wondrous home of Saint Nick!" Gyro then grabs onto the pole and he slides down and enters a large area, and he looks in wonder to the place.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Santa's Workshop! (North's Workshop.)

Gyro then walks by some elves who are carrying a plate of milk and cookies, he sighs seeing them. 'Elves, not quite the good toy makers as once before.'

Gyro then ducks as a toy jet plane flies by. "Watch the six there boys, I'm not an enemy here." The yeti's wave towards him as they continue to test the toys that have been completed.

Gyro then moves to the side as a formation of toy soldiers walks by and he salutes each one, then he nearly steps onto a toy monster truck but he manages to stop and let it drive by. "By all things in the realms, this place sure is busy."

Gyro then high fives and fist bumps some of the yeti's who are all good friends with him. Gyro then walks by a yeti painting all the rubber ducky blue.

"It's the holidays coming soon big fella, paint them red."

The yeti stops and looks to the other ducks that are all blue, which means he has to repaint them to red. Dang it!

Gyro then knocks on the door to a large office. "Who's that coming down the chimney?"

The man inside chuckles. "Come on in comrade, come in!"

Gyro opens the door and is now face-to-face with another Guardian, the Guardian of Wonder and toymaker, North.

Nicholas St. North – Born from Russia and lives in the North Pole, a Cossack and former bandit and chosen by Man in Moon to be a Guardian. Wielding two swords and magic, he makes sure that when Christmas comes, it becomes the merriest for all, and he checks who has been naughty and who has been nice.

Appearance: An immense man. Tall, buff and a little rotund. He has bright blue eyes, thick black eyebrows and a long white beard and mustache. He has the words "naughty" and "nice" tattooed on each forearm.

Customarily, he wears a black fur hat, a long red coat with black fur trim, and a red plaid shirt, and also carries two swords strapped to his waist, but this is what he wears when not at home in the North Pole.

North goes over to hug him. "Good to be seeing you once again, Gyro."

"No, no, Not necessary!" North then hugs the man, but he sees he's gone. "Like I said, don't hug me, especially when it's someone who's got that kind of muscle on them."

North chuckles. "Still, it is good to be seeing you again." He then eats a cookie and he continues in sculpting the ice. "So, what bring you here in my home?"

"I just wanted to see if you're ready for your biggest task at hand" said Gyro as he picks up the ice sculpture of the Statue of Liberty and it glows too.

North chuckles. "Are you kidding with me? Of course I am, I did this last year and did pretty well. I don't get the chance to just finish my job here, and then do so in another world, or better yet two worlds!"

"And soon, I intend to do so again!" said North as he begins to finish with what he is sculpting.

"Which is why I must ask, are you ready to travel to another world?" asked Gyro.

North stops sculpting and looks to Gyro. "Hold on there, you're asking me to deliver gifts and wonder to yet another parallel world?"

Gyro smirks. "I am, and I spoke with Man in Moon and he said that it's all up to you. So, how about it?"

North chuckles. "Are you pulling on my leg? Of course I am, of course I will need the help from your dimensional snow globes once again, just like last year."

"Say no more my Russian compadre." Gyro uses his new magic and he warps the dimensional snow globes and are in a sack in the corner of the room. "Ask and you shall receive."

North claps. "New magic I see, learned it on your one week of not being around?"

One of the elves looks into the sack. "Indeed it is." Gyro uses his staff to pull the elf away from the sack. "And it's also dangerous, had to learn it if I am to face Salem."

North sighs. "Yes, so I heard. The creator of the beasts of Grimm?"

"Creatures of Grimm, but yeah the very same one" replied Gyro as he looks out the window. "I am all ready to confront her again, along with my newest ally who taught me these new spells and powers. She won't stand a chance."

North then finishes what he has made. "That Salem, she's almost as similar to Pitch Black, but far more cunning and far more destructive." North steps back and looks at what he has sculpted, a model of the Odin from the Terran Dominion.

The sculpture moves and wanders around the table, and also knocks away some elves who are trying to eat some of the cookies.

"Speaking of which." Gyro looks to North. "What's the word on Pitch Black? Has he returned?"

"Hasn't showed up and hasn't bothered to do anything" replied North who then drinks a glass of warm milk. "But, the rest of the Guardians and myself have been keeping a keen eye on if he does return, and if he does, then we shall be ready to face him once again."

Gyro smirks and eats a cookie as well. "If Pitch does come back and if he has gotten strong, then you know where to find me."

North smirks. "When that time comes, then those Royal Defenders will be in for one heck of surprise when they see all of us."

Gyro then opens the window. "See you around North, and a Merry Christmas my old friend."

North chuckles. "And a soon to be Happy New Year to you, comrade!"

Gyro morphs into a raven and he flies out of the room and through a portal back to Karazhan.

North then sees a note on his desk and he sees the names of naughty and nice in another Royal Woods, from "Family of Two" and he sees some words from Gyro.

"Just like last year, this note will unleash some arcane magic that can help make more toys alongside your yeti friends, and it will empower them to move a bit faster too. See you on December 25th Nicholas Sr. North."

North smirks and he opens the envelope and the magic flies out of the office and into the workshop and he smiles. "Time to get to work."
