Chapter 534: Welcome to 2021.
( January 2. The Loud House.)
Wit the day already good and great, Lynn Sr drives off to his restaurant to begin the preparations into reopening the place, and he has some new dishes to place onto the menu.
Lori is in the living room and she helps Lola with her hair. "How the heck did this hair get so tangled up?"
"I don't know, but thanks for helping me. I think I recall from Lana that right now…" They then hear a noise coming from outside. "Yup, she's chasing down the dang raccoon that snuck into our room and slept on my hair!" Lola tries her best to stay still, then Jinx comes and helps with her hair issue.
At the backyard: Lana and Toxicroak, alongside Lucy and Crobat are trying to capture and chase off the wild raccoons, but these are not actually raccoons. It's a Galarian Zigzagoon, and there are 3 of them.
"These guys sure are fast! How the heck do we take them down?!" Lana jumps forward to catch, but the Galarian Zigzagoon is fast and dodges her and runs around the backyard.
Toxicroak manages to knock one away and they goes over to help Lana.
"Maybe if Lynn were here with her Tyrogue, this wouldn't be so hard." Lucy steps to the side as her Crobat and Volcarona are chasing down two of them, and Lisa is watching this from the stairs of the back door.
"I do question on the arrival of these Galarian Zigzagoon, they should be here because this is not the Galar region and we have yet to know more on any new information that new region has. Also, heads up."
Lana then has her net and she catches the Galarian Zigzagoon that was going to leap over her head. "Gotcha! Thanks Lisa!"
Lisa straightens her glasses. "Once we have captured them, we must send them to FutureTech to be sent back to where they came from, I do not wish to have them cause any disruptions around town. The common Zigzagoon in Royal Woods are much more tolerable than these ones."
They all continue to take down and chase the Galarian Zigzagoon, they are lucky there is no Galarian Linoone, because they do not know how much new stuff has come, to the Pokémon world.
Rita then comes out of the backyard and sees this. "What the heck? I thought they were raccoons?!"
"That's what we thought, but it appears we were wrong" said Lisa. She then steps to the side as a Galarian Zigzagoon runs past her. "We need to contain this and fast."
Then all four of the Galarian Zigzagoon hit a glass box and are stuck in place and then they see Luan and Mr. Mime, back from a birthday gig. "Looks like we boxed them in real good!" Luan and Mr. Mime both chuckle at this.
Situation contained. Thanks goodness. "Now, I shall inform FutureTech of this outcome" said Lisa. She then heads back inside to make the call.
The others look at the Galarian Zigzagoon that are still stuck in the invisible box made by Mr. Mime. Lucy smiles seeing these black and white Zigzagoon. "They look cool to me, if only they weren't so troublesome."
Rita sighs. "We are not keeping them."
( Spellman Estate.)
Lincoln, Luna, Sam, Jordan, Simon and Linka are busy establishing some ideas for tomorrow.
"Alright guys, so this is the New Year and we should make it sound awesome and epic with some brand new songs" replied Luna. "So, who here has some games that could add up into making a cool kinda song?"
Sam thinks about this. "No clue, what about you Simon? You got a game in mind to be a song? I mean, I did hear you get angry once."
Simon then chokes on his soda. "Wait! You heard me rage?!"
Sam chuckles. "Simon, we could all hear you getting so angry, we all wanna know what you're playing. Because dad wants in as well."
Simon feels embarrassed by this, but he decides to tell them. "The game is…… Player Unknown's Battleground."
Lincoln, Jordan and Linka look to Simon, shocked at what he just said. "You play that game?!"
Luna is confused. "Is it that bad?"
"Yeah, because when you lose folks rage, like a lot and at times the game can be glitchy" replied Lincoln. "But people still play it and I don't even know why. Almost as much folks play Fortnite, mostly kids who wanna play the game alongside other people, who are better than them."
"So glad we don't play those games, I did hear that most games and consoles and computers end up getting destroyed and confiscated because of those games, and they always make bad issues run between kids and their parents" said Jordan.
"So glad the rest of our friends were warned before playing the game" said Linka. "Best leave the gaming thing to the experts, like the game streamers who know what they're doing and can handle their own rage quit complications."
Simon sighs. "Then be glad I have that game up. Two days of playing and I decided to stop, it was way too much rage quitting crud."
Sam thinks about this. "We can make this into a song, make it sound intense and then when we release the song, we send out a warning to kids who play this. Otherwise it's a trip to buy another game console."
"Then it's settled then, we can make this into a song and then make the warning onto the game" said Luna. "Anyone else here got a song idea from a game they played?"
They all continue to talk about what games that would make up as a good song for tomorrows musical session. Each one has a game idea, and Lincoln has a second song for the game, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. Linka has a song idea as well, from a game she played last month.
Neil is on the roof and he smiles watching them spend time together and talking about what to do next, then Gwen with Lily stand with him. "So, anything else to add up with what's gonna happen soon?" asked Gwen.
"Not much, I am waiting for Gyro to come and tell us what might happen next" said Neil.
They then look to the group in the backyard talking. "So, do you think we can all handle when the day comes for Linc and Luna to leave the estate?" asked Gwen.
Neil sighs. "That…… is a complicated matter, but they wanna see where they can bring the future they have as mother and son and so do we. This is they're choice, and they won't be far away. The plan from Michelle Lewis is a possibility to a working progress, so chances it could be good for everyone."
"Things are changing and everyone in the family has a lot to do" said Gwen. "But, we'll all pull through. Like we always have, through every conflict and issue." She then picks up Lily and kisses her cheek, which makes the toddler giggle.
They then continue to watch the kid's talks, then Niel recalls something. "Sergei said he has some royal demons visiting his home today. I wonder how that's going."
( Spellman Hell Mansion.)
Neil is not wrong, at the living room within the mansion is where Sergei and Loona are with their guests, the Goetia Royal Demon family.
Stolas Goetia – He is an anthrophormorphic owl demon. Tall, with an owlish beak, and two pairs of narrow red eyes with no visible irises or pupils. He has blue and dark blue feathers with white and gray accents. He has a tail of blue feathers with darker blue tips that reaches his feet, and a lighter gray-blue puff of fur on his chest. From the neck up, his feathers fade from blue to darker blue, and his face stands out in a white heart shape.
His arms and legs are black, and instead of shoes, his limbs are tipped with owl claws.
He's wearing feathery tophat with a regal yellow feather decal that is reminiscent of a crown. He also wears a red tunic with six golden buttons, gray trousers, and a plush burgundy surcoat with a white fur collar and puffed sleeves.
Stella Goetia – is very tall white avian demon with curvaceous proportions. She has long, hair-like feathers that fade to grey at the tips and a large gray stripe on her head. She has a short pink beak, and long curved eyelashes. She has pink markings underneath her eyes, which are themselves red with light pupils.
She wears a white dress with puffed sleeves and feather trimming, along with black accents. She is seen wearing a crown, and has painted nails underneath her black gloves.
Octavia Goetia – 17 years' old and the moody daughter of Stolas and Stella. She is a lanky and unkempt with a coat of gray feathers. Her eyes are also pink with bright pupils, while below the eyes are three tear-like streaks. She bears traits from both her parents her father's white mask-like face and light pupils and the shaggy, scruffy hair feathers from her mother.
She wears a pink glittery dress, a dark feather shawl around her shoulders, pink arm warmers with stars on them, and a pale tiara along with a black beanie hat. She also accessorizes with a pink choker around her neck.
They all enjoy some drinks as they also talk. Sergei and Loona just have glasses of root beer, while Octavia sticks to a can of soda, and the two older royal demons are having tea, with sugar.
Sergei then asks. "So, did you hear about the whole Loo Loo Land thing we did for Stolas?"
Stella places her tea down. "Yes, yes I did and though I do despise him for some recent actions." she looks to her beloved with glowing red eyes. Then she calms down. "I do appreciate what he's doing to spend time with our daughter."
Octavia sighs. "The real hot issue here is trying to figure out what are we doing, I mean I wanted to come here alone and see what this town is all about."
"Now, now Octavia. We also would like to see this town too, spend some family time" said Stolas.
This triggers Stella. "Family Time? Family Time?" She then looks to her beloved with anger. "We haven't had that ever since you fucking sucked on that imps dick, behind my back!"
"Please my darling, we not in our house. Let's calm down now, Octavia is here" said Stolas as he tries to calm down his wife.
The two of them start to bicker, though Stolas seems to try and calm Stella down, Octavia covers her face and scooches closer to Loona. "Sorry about them guys, they're always yelling at each other."
Loona sighs. "Not an issue to us, Via. We understand the problem at hand, and I'm just waiting for Stella to calm down so I can tell her what Blitzo really feels about Stolas, then maybe they can settle something down from this madness."
Sergei drinks his root beer. "This is cool with me, but if they start throwing stuff then that's where I draw the line."
The front door opens and Leon with the pups Felicia and Fenrir and Yamper walk in and see this, even Dana is with him. "What the heck is going on here?" asked Leon.
"And who the heck are those two and why are they fighting?" asked Dana.
This is gonna be a long day for them.
( FutureTech Headquarters.)
At the FutureTech base, which is leaving the Western Seaboard of the United States, the med bay is where we start it off, because someone is back on his feet and that someone is Clover Elbi.
Clover stretches his arms. "Dang. Been a while since I was on my feet, I do feel kinda slow on the walk though and this new look is okay with me."
The outfit he wears is the same that he wore when he led the Ace Ops group. But, it has colors changed. From red to orange and the blue areas are light blue, and there is an eagle logo on the back. He also has a badge of the Allied Nations eagle that is holding a four leaf clover.
"Huh, the eagle holding the clover does look like a new kind of sign for luck, this is okay."
Martin chuckles. "I know right? Now, even though you do seem fit for some action, we still have some complications."
Clover nods. "Yeah, I figured. I have recovered and my feet feel fine, and so do my arms. But, I think I need to brush up on some skills in training. Time to see if I still got it."
Victor then walks in. "The training room is the best place to train, and we can set the stimulation to any kind of standard training session. So, you start off with the easy, and all the way to elite training against our battle droids."
"And what about Kingfisher?" asked Clover.
"Being modified" replied Martin. "As of now, Jack Cyber along with the support from GLADIS are both trying to see what they can do to modify your fishing rod and make it more superb than it was from before, and we also intend to add that horse shoe you seem to use, as an add on to the weapon alongside some new components that would make her far more suitable for different tasks."
Clover smirks. "That sounds great, I can't wait to get her back in my hands." They all walk out of the med bay, and go down the halls.
Victor then goes through the body conditions of Clover using his tablet. "We can't guarantee that you can help train the rest of the team, until you're fit and ready yourself. Which means you'll be….."
"Spending some time in this large base, that I understand" replied Clover. "This seems almost as close to Atlas, except without the General Ironwood with his personal issues crisis to keep Atlas and Mantle secure. But when we do go back, then I can help save my home and also talk things out between me and Qrow."
"The Guardian will want to see you soon, alongside Pyrrha Nikkos. This is almost as to how we met up with Penny" said Martin.
"Then glad I'm following the path she took, let's get this training started" said Clover.
They have a lot to catch up and patch up, no epic or crossover missions until they are all ready for what happens next. Soon, training for the Royal Defenders will begin, in the hands of a master huntsman Ace Operative!
