Spells and Louds
Chapter 539: Her last name.
( January 7. Ketcham Park.)
Snow has come to the peaceful town, and the park is once again covered in it. A lot of the folks are enjoying this awesome day in the snow and classes are over for the day and everyone is glad that trouble hasn't come to town as of lately and no crime as well. Just small issues with break-ins.
A lot of kids go around and play in the snow, let them be humans or Faunus, they're all having some winter season fun. Even the Pokèmon are happy to spend some nice fun time in the snow.
Lincoln, Linka and Jordan are there and are having fun making a snow man and snow fort alongside the twins, Lola and Lana. Lisa is also there and she helps make her own snow man, of Albert Einstein.
Simon and Stella walk around the park and both are talking about their next date and where they should go. But they're not the only ones planning on a date soon. Also there are Lance, Joy, Trent, Kat, Artie, Cookie, Flat Tire, Jenny, Mollie and Sadie. Leni and Loni are also there talking about their date night.
Coop, Kick and Timmy are sledding down the tall hill, but they get beaten when Gunther charges down with them and on his reindeer named, Olaf. Also, why the heck is Gunther shirtless? It's cold out here!
Luna, Sam, Sully and Mazzy are getting ready with the songs that they are planning to perform for the big Royal Woods Spring Musical Festival and it's gonna be rockin'! Sunset, and the Dazzles also help them, but also there are the girls from Canterlot High.
Though, Pinkie Pie is going around the park and making tons of snow angels, alongside Luan.
Boomer's Super Kirov Airship is anchored near the park and Boomer and Katherine Mulligan are both talking about what they're gonna do if they have to live together, but they know that can handle each other with what they need and want.
Someone else is there too. Lucy, and Haiku and both are speaking with someone they never thought they would meet, Goth's meet Octavia Goetia, the daughter of Stolas and is sorta Gothic like them, they talk about what Octavia has seen in hell and she shows them the pictures of the weird Taxidermy she sees in hell.
Sergei and his wife, Loona are with their pups, Felicia and Fenrir and are all playing in the snow, but they do laugh when they see Leon walk towards them all charred up from being shocked by his Yamper, again.
Neil is there and is ice skating and with him is Gwen and Duchess. She's there for the weekend to spend some family time, but where is Lily?
Lily is with Michelle Lewis, she's being carried and watches as the others are having fun. Both of them are sitting by the bench and then someone else joins them.
Gyro is there, and he hands Michelle some hot chocolate. "Here, fresh and still warm from the sandwich truck." He then takes a seat and he gives a small warm cup of hot chocolate to Lily and she drinks it slowly as to not get burnt.
Gyro smirks. "She really is improving and becoming a smart little kid."
Michelle smiles. "She is, and she's doing well in Day care and making new friends, she's even learning to read books on her own and figuring how each word has to be pronounced and she also got to Gwen's phone and told her what it said and thank god the message didn't have any bad words in them."
Gyro is amazed. "Literally, a smart kid and I can't blame ya. Infants can be quite the geniuses, until they continue to learn and only recognize what they have been taught."
Michelle smiles. "So I heard. So, you got any plans tonight or tomorrow?"
"Not at the moment, no. I do have to watch as Clover helps train the Royal Defenders to see if they can be able to improve their combat training. We must be prepared for the day we do go back to Remnant and execute the plan to take down Salem and her Grimm forces."
"Yeah, I recall that one and I hope Penny is doing fine" replied Michelle. "She's so nice and pretty much a good friend. We know she has one heck of a job to do, but we all hope she can come back someday."
"You me both Michelle." Gyro boops Lily's nose and this makes her giggle. "Kinda makes me want a family of my own one day, but I know that might not be a possibility."
Michelle looks to Lily and hugs her. "Yeah, but we both have our own things to deal with. We can't truly be a family if we both have so much to do. I mean, you're the Guardian of the Realms and me? I wanna continue helping Lincoln and Luna, I owe them for giving me this second chance to freedom and a new life."
Gyro nods. "So true, we all have our own paths to take and see where our future will lead, but just because we can't have the family we wanted, doesn't mean that we cannot see each other."
Michelle kisses his cheek. "We can date and we can have some romantic moments. But, the family is a long and very hard thing to handle, especially when we have so much to do with the life we have now."
"Such as the plan for when Lincoln and Luna might end up living on their own as mother and son?" asked Gyro.
Michelle smirks. "Yeah, that one. I have a plan, and I have yet to make it happen. But I know it can work, and there would be no need for Luna and Lincoln to be far from the family they love and the town they came from and sure as heck, I am gonna be there to help them along the way."
"I'm not tied to the Spellman Family, I'm tied to continue to help Lincoln and Luna, whatever it takes" replied Michelle.
Gyro smiles and he kisses her on the lips. "Whatever it takes." They both share another kiss on the lips, which Lily sees and squeals with glee.
Then a snow ball hits Gyro and he looks around. "Who in the name of the realms?!"
Leon chuckles. "No kissing when you got frost bite guardian!" With him are the rest of the kids, and they are all ready for a snowball fight.
Gyro smirks. "Oh, it is so on!" He gets up and he summons snowballs and the fight is on!
Michelle laughs seeing this and so does Lily. They continue to watch as the park becomes a snow ball warzone for everyone, heck even Boomer from his airship is throwing snow balls at them.
Michelle then thinks about what she and Gyro spoke about. ' Can we actually have a family?'
Then two figures in snow gear walk towards the woman and Lily sees them, and one of them calls out to her. "Michelle, Michelle Lewis."
Michelle looks to the two grownup figures and she knows who they are. "Oh hell no."
Oscar S. Lewis – in his early 40's. Long brunette tied into a ponytail, but the front of the bangs looks like Michelle's style and he has a goatee. Wearing a red shirt, brown hoodie jacket and dark gray jeans with black boots.
Emily J. Lewis – in here late 30's. Long brunette hair and is flopped to one side, but the style in the back of the hair looks like Michelle's. She's wearing a yellow shirt, dark brown hoodie with the logo of a bull, blue jeans and brown winter boots.
Michelle couldn't believe it, it was her cousins, the ones she knew back when she was in the many Lewis family reunions. "What the? You gotta be kidding me?"
"Hello Michelle. Been a long time since we last saw you" said Oscar.
"You're looking well, and I assume you're watching over this toddler" said Emily.
Michelle gets up. "Yeah, and what's wrong with that?"
"Well, we never thought you to be the nurturing type. After all, you are a Hollywood woman" chuckled Emily. "Heck, we never even let you near the younger Lewis' in the family."
Michelle is angered hearing this. "There's a lot of stuff you two dorks don't know about me. You two got a lot of nerve showing up here. But I know that you two dorks have a reason to be here, and not just to ruin the peace, quiet and fun everyone is trying to have right now! So, what the heck do you guys want?"
Emily and Oscar look to each other nod, then Oscar hands her something. "This is for you, read it."
" The Lewis Family reunion is set to be held back home at Fresno California, on January 16 2021. All members of the family are to attend for a big celebration – yours truly; Bernard Jameson Lewis Sr."
Michelle is confused by this. "What the hell is this? What's with the letter?"
"That letter is an invitation to the annual Lewis Reunion, and you are a Lewis and you have to come" replied Oscar.
"The whole thing is important, Bernard is going to be making some double checks to his will and chances someone in the family is gonna be removed" said Emily.
Michelle scoffs. "And I suppose that you want me to come to this dumb reunion that I have been banned from so many times? You guys kept me from my parents funeral, what the heck would they say from that?!"
"That is not of a concern right now Michelle, what truly matters is that you come to this reunion so we can get this all settled" said Oscar.
"The rest of the family wants to see you again after all. You do work alongside the Royal Defenders and have made the Lewis name into something" said Emily, though she sounds annoyed.
Michelle is not pleased with their words. "Oh, so now I'm welcome back after I have been given the chance of redemption to the ones who stopped me? Wow. What a bunch of stupid words even from you two dorks. You can go tell the others, that I am not coming to this dumb reunion."
This shocks Oscar and Emily. "Michelle, this reunion is all necessary and you are a Lewis and you must come to the reunion" said Oscar.
"We all have to go, and even if some of us don't want you there, we have to go there" said Emily. "Also, the preparations to the reunion is on the way and all members are to meet at California immediately, we have our things there are a hotel which is where the reunion will be."
"Pack your things and come with us, we have to get you accustomed to meet with the others" replied Oscar.
Michelle was not having this. "No."
They both look to her in shock and confusion. "What?"
"I said, no. I'm not going to your stupid reunion and there's no other freaking way you two can make me go" replied Michelle. She's used to her cousins and now she's standing her ground in front of them.
"Yeah!" yelled Lily.
Oscar is annoyed by this. "Michelle, we don't have time for this, go and get your things and let's take you to begin the…."
"No. I am not going, and you two dorks can't make me" said Michelle, she's ready to make sure they don't do anything stupid and she has a plan too, that those two didn't even notice.
Emily then has an idea. "Look, if we let you see your mom and dad and talk to them, then will you come with us?"
Michelle is now disgusted by this offer. "Using my mom and dad who are long gone and haven't even got the chance to say some last words for them as a way to make a deal? How low can you go? Because that is dark, and just disgusting and you two re as disgusting as sewage water in the back of an outhouse at a run-down truck stop."
Oscar has had it. "Michelle, you are coming with us or…"
"Or what? Whatcha gonna do, brah?" Emily and Oscar see, that they are surrounded by everyone in the park. They all overheard this and didn't know that they came over and were listening into this.
Michelle then smirks. "If my memory serves, that when it comes to you two dorks for brains, you both seem to have a habit of not noticing what's around you. So, gotcha in the spiders web, little vermin flies!"
Michelle then hands Lily to Gwen and all of the heroes are ready for a fight.
Emily and Oscar can see that they are in deep trouble. Then Emily sees Sunset recording with her phone. "How long has that been recording?!"
"Hmm, I don't know" replied Sunset. "Maybe when you started to hand Michelle the note and you two dorks didn't notice us coming towards you. What the heck is with the loss focus on the background with you two?"
"Also, she's live streaming this" replied Rarity. "So, say hello to her millions of viewers and subscribers."
"And I do recall, that chances the rest of the Lewis family in California is seeing this" replied Octavia. "At this crud you two are trying to pull off."
Now Oscar and Emily are filled with dread, they are in deep trouble and chances Bernard is seeing this.
Michelle chuckles. "To be honest, back then I used to call them the planks." This makes them all chuckle and makes Emily and Oscar red in embarrassment.
"This does not concern any of you!" said Oscar.
"Actually, It does" said Neil as he walks forward. "Michelle is a part of the family, the Spellman family and all thanks to Lincoln and Luna, who both decided to give her a second chance and a family she can call home, and sure as heck I didn't see or hear the Lewis family trying to help her."
"She's not wrong" said Lincoln. "Sure she did wrong, but she made up for her mistakes and was manipulated by someone to accomplish her dream and turn into someone she is not. She may have not gotten the support from her cousins and other family, but her mom and dad tried to be there to reason with her, and deep down she wanted to listen to them."
"But it ain't easy when someone has the blackmailing leash on the line" said Luna. "You really think it was gonna be easy for her to just walk away from her life? You two don't even know what hell she had to go through and she told us everything she had been through and all she had to regret and you two are as cold-hearted as the rest of the god damned forsaken Lewis family."
Gyro then steps up. "Michelle has a family, and though she is not related to them in blood, it doesn't matter. What matters, is that they understand her and will be there to help her when she needs it the most. So tell me heathen dorks of the planks you were born from, where was the rest of the wretched Lewis family when she needed their help the most?"
That was something Oscar and Emily couldn't answer, because they had none.
Gwen then looks to them. "You two should leave, now."
"I can arrange that one." Gyro then snaps his fingers and the two Lewis cousins are teleported and back in their car. They see the others looking at them from the park and all of them power-up and get ready to attack.
Oscar and Emily then drive off in a hurry, they were in deep trouble with the rest of the Lewis family when they get back to California for what they tried to demand.
Michelle Lewis sighs in relief and everyone claps at the action and words, she then sees Luna and Lincoln go towards her. "Thanks guys, I thought they'd never leave me alone."
"We weren't gonna let you face them alone Michelle" said Gwen.
"They made the mistake thinking they could come here and make the demands" said Neil.
"You're our family, and we do not let family down" said Timmy.
"Those two have a lot of nerves to do this, and they should be careful next time" said Duchess.
"No one messes with one of our own, we're Spellman's" said Sunset.
"And if you mess with one of us, then you mess with all of us" said Leni.
"They wanna come back and pick a fight, then they better be ready for a beat down" said Linka.
"We got your back dude, we'd never leave you hanging with trouble" said Luna.
"Because family matters, we are you're family, and you are our family" said Lincoln.
Lily walks towards Michelle and hugs her legs. "Always."
Michelle is touched by this and she goes over for one big family group hug, and even the Pokèmon join in on this.
Leon then looks to Sergei. "Shouldn't we say something too?"
"Let them have this man" said Sergei.
Gyro smiles at this nice and touching moment, then he thinks about something. ' If those idiots think about coming back, then we'll have one hell of a fight on our hands, and one side will win and the other shall fall. We must be ready, this could be the first sign of trouble to come.'
