To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

559. Chapter 559

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 559: The tremors beneath pt.2.

(Somewhere in the forest.)

The ground in the forest rumbles, but not to the sound of a Graboid, but because of a large and heavily armored war machine, the Tiger Tank drives through the forest and searches around the place.

Inside, Leon and Sergei are tryin to contact the main base. "Guys, this is Leon over. Where's the ETA of where to meet, please respond."

But he gets static. "Fuck, we got nothing on the radios again." Leon then looks around with the periscope. "Where the heck is everyone?"

"Maybe they went back to the others to wherever we were supposed to rendezvous." Sergei then makes a hard right turn. "We should go back too, also the radio with me has no signal as well."

"Let me see what's going on out there." Leon opens the hatch and he looks around, then he sees something on the tank. "Well, that's just perfect." He sounds pissed off.

Sergei asks. "What? What is it? What's the problem out there?"

"The antennae got broken, damn it. We have to go back and get this thing fixed up and we just installed it two weeks ago" said Leon. He's about to go back into the tank, but then they hear this weird grumbling sound.

"Whoa. That was not the engine" said Sergei. He then stops the tank, but keeps the motor running. They still hear this grumbling sound. "What the hell is that noise?"

Leon then grabs his MG42 and reloads it. "Whatever that was, it's somewhere out there and something is out there and…." The whole Tiger Tank shakes and Leon holds onto the bars. "Whoa! Shit!"

Sergei also holds on. "What the fuck?!"

Leon gets out of the tank and he looks outside and he sees these three snake-like things coming out of the ground and hissing at him. "Holy shit! I found out what killed the couple and the soldiers!" He then shoots each of the tongues and then he sees more trying to grab the tank's treads and he shoots them.

"Whoa! Whoa! What the hell?" The Tiger Tank shakes as the ground underneath moves around. "Sergei, get us out of here before these snakes sink us in!"

"On it!" Sergei hits top speed to run for it, but they're not moving. The Tiger Tank is struggling to drive off. "Come on, come on. Come on, you big bastard! Drive for me!" He hits all the gears and levers and tries to get the tank moving. "Come on you bastard! Drive this thing, drive!"

"Sergei! Get us moving!" yelled Leon, he then shoots three more tongues and knocks one away.

"I am trying!" Sergei tries to make her move. "I'm giving her the juice, but she won't fucking budge!"

Leon sees these snake-things are making the tank stuck and the treads can't move and the tank is slowly sinking into the ground. "Shit, shit. Shit no! Plan B!" Leon goes to the emergency box in the tank.

Leon then comes out of the tank with 10 flare guns. "Let's hope they see us!" He points up and fires the flare. He then grabs another flare and fires it. "Come on!"

(Royal Woods Allied outpost.)

At the base. All troops are advised to fortify the underground areas of Royal Woods, but chances it'll be fine since the Graboids can't go through the cement ground.

Tall Timbers Creek on the other hand is near the forest and so they have to get everyone out of there and defend the area using NoD technology, thankfully those kinds of vehicles can tunnel underground.

But in case for Shriekers, they're letting the Protoss guard the areas, they're shields can keep them safe, but best let the Immortals handle that one.

In case of Ass Blasters, they have Apollo Fighters, along with MiG's, Jet Tengu, Phoenix fighters, Viking fighters and other superiority jets handle sky patrol.

To help improve defense. Jodan summons the might of her Zerg Swarm, and they help secure the underground, the surface and the air.

They also told this to Mayor Davis and Sienna Khan and then they told this to the folks in town to be careful and stay indoors and if the alarm is up, then they have to hide their body heat.

Neil is on the radio and is trying to call Leon and Sergei. Lincoln and Peter look to the sky for the arrival of the man, the hunter and the legend. Then they spot the Dropship coming.

"Heads up and look alive, folks. Here comes the monster hunter" said Peter Sharp. They all go to the tarmac and watch as the Special Ops Dropship comes down and lands onto the helipad.

The main door opens and coming out is Clover, and he's carrying some of the boxes with ammo, and behind him is the man himself.

Well-known at Perfection Valley, Nevada, a certified and well-prepared Doomsday prepper, can survive the harshest of things that come through his way, married and divorced, has one kid who isn't with him at the moment, rumored to not die (Yeah, not true) and was there when the Graboids first attacked.

Burt Gummer.

The man walks down the doorway and removes his shades. "So, where's the Graboid?"

Peter goes towards the man and they shake hands. "God damn! Good to see ya again old buddy. Still look the same huh?"

"Me? Look at you, you haven't changed a bit since we last met. Alstom like you're still as young was you used to be" replied Burt. He then looks to the others. "So, this is the team your with?"

"Pretty much, the team which I call my family." He then looks to Sam. "And this is my little girl, Sam."

"Yeah, I heard about Sharp here having a kid, well two kids and then stuck to one" replied Burt. He knows this from some letters Peter Sharp sent him long ago, even if they didn't call each other, they stayed in tough the old fashioned way.

Sam chuckles. "Might as well increase the numbers, because dad here has more kids now and they're mostly adopted into the Sharp last name." She goes over and shakes his hand. "A pleasure to meet you sir, I have heard the stories, and to be honest I kinda doubted them."

"No need to be doubtful on that, I understand that it's hard to handle the truth about giant underground monsters that can change into two other forms and become smart ass sons of bitches" replied Burt. "Sometimes the stories are not easy to believe unless you see it for yourself."

Burt then looks to the team. "So, where is the corpse of the Ass Blaster?"

But then Neil interrupts. "Guys, Leon and Sergei are not responding, something's wrong."

"Where the heck were they last sighted and sent to patrol?" asked Burt.

"Somewhere in the same eastern side of the forest where we are" said Neil.

Lincoln then continues. "But there's no need to worry. They're both manning the Tiger Tank, and have tons of ammunition in case something goes wrong. Why? Do Graboids have the strength to take down a Tiger Tank?"

"I doubt they can" said Carol. "The Tiger Tank is too huge for them to take on alone."

Burt sighs. "True, but they can outsmart a tank, just like how they outsmarted us when we tried to flee using the Bulldozer."

Peter realizes this and recalls an incident when he used a tank against Graboids. "Oh shit."

Then they all see a flare from the distance. "That flare, it's them!" said Gwen. "The emergency flare, which only means they're in serious trouble!"

They see another flare and another and another. "Yup, they are in a heap shit of trouble" said Boomer.

Burt then grabs his sniper rifle and some high explosive ammunition and he puts his shades back on and looks to the rest of the heroes. "Then let's go and kiss these suckers back to hell."

(Somewhere in the forest.)

The German and the Russian Spellman brothers are both in a tight and very dangerous pickle now.

They have more than 12 snake-like things coming out of the ground and the Tiger Tank is slowly going down. "For fucks sake! What the hell do we do?!" Sergei uses his shotgun and he shoots the weird snake. "Die, heathens and get away from my tank!"

"You're Tank?!" Leon kicks one of the snake away and he shoots it with his pistol and then grabs his MG42. "This is my Tiger Tank, you dickhead!" He then shoots three snake things and then stomps on one. "Not today!"

Sergei then grabs one of the snake things and he bites it and he lets go when it screams and he spits. "God, that is disgusting and that smells fucking bad too!"

"How many of these snake things are there?!" Leon continues to shoot. Then they see something big moving in the ground and coming out, is none other than one big nasty worm called: The Graboid.

Leon and Sergei are shocked at what they see. "Just one." They then open fire onto the large monster and it goes back into the ground.

The Graboid then surfaces near the Tank and tries to use its snake-like tongues to grab the two men.

"What the fuck are we looking at?!" said Leon.

Then the Graboid is shot, and they see a dropship come down from above and Burt Gummer is shooting the beast. "They're called Graboids. We need to know, how many tongues you two saw?!"

Leon then recalls. "Eighteen and you killed this one." The Graboid that surfaces is now dead because Burt shot it, and straight to the head too.

Sergei then covers his nose. "Shit! This thing smells worse when dead!"

"That means we got 5 Graboids left!" Peter jumps off the dropship and lands onto the ground and taps his foot. "Come and get some fresh meat, you ugly beasts from hell!"

"What the hell is he doing?!" Burt then goes on top of the Tiger Tank and places down a remote control car with some dynamite on it.

Lincoln also comes down and so does Linka and they both have some remote control cars with TNT on them. "He knows what he's doing Burt, trust us" replied Linka.

They see this large mound moving in the ground and it's headed for Peter, but the man is unfazed. "Come and get some you son of a bitch!"

He then moves out of the way and the Graboid surfaces to find nothing. Peter then goes onto the back of the head. "Come on, bitch!"

The monster tries to shake him off, then Peter has a C4 and he puts it in the mouth and shoots some of the tongues. "Adios, mother fucker!" He jumps off and races back to the tank and they wall watch as the Graboid blows up. Spreading its remains into the air and everywhere.

"Oh shit! This stinks!" said Lincoln. He manages to get some of it off his clothing. "We're gonna need showers after this."

But then Peter trips and falls to the ground, he sees he's been grabbed by the Graboid tongue. "Shit!"

"I got ya, good company." Burt shoots the tongue and another one comes out, but Lincoln tosses some Dynamite that has been lit and the tongue grabs that instead.

Peter runs for it and just in time for the ground underneath to blow up into a shower of rotten and blown up Graboid meat.

Peter makes it to the tank and they look around and see the ground is still moving. "We still got three more fuckers in the ground and they probably know what's going on."

"Then let's hope this works." Burt places down the remote control monster truck with the stick of dynamite and he puts a high frequency watch on top and he lets it roam around.

The Graboid sees this and goes towards the toy, and then it sends a tongue out to devour the toy.

They then wait and the Graboid is blown up. They all cheer and then take cover as the meat flies everywhere. "Shit, this smells horrible!" said Leon. "We still got two more of these things."

Lincoln and Linka deploy their toy monster trucks, and send them off and they also have high frequency watches and the two Graboids go after them.

"Come on, follow the toy" said Lincoln. He chuckles at what they're doing. "This is kinda fun."

"And now you know how I feel, kid" replied Burt. "Come and have some desserts you freaks."

The other one eats the toy and then blows up. They all cheer. "Nice! One more to go!" said Sergei.

The other monster truck also gets eaten, but then it gets spit out and lands onto a tree and blows up. This shocks them, but not to Peter and Burt. "What the hell just happened?" asked Lincoln.

Burt curses from this. "They're always on the learning curve, every single time! They always learn!"

"Looks like we're gonna need a new….." Peter then sees the Graboid headed towards them. "Plan?"

The Graboid goes under the tank. "What the heck is it doing?" asked Sergei.

Then the tank shakes and shutters and they all hold on, then the Tank is toppled over from underneath and they all fall over to one side and move out of the way as the tank comes over and goes upside down.

They all look at what just happened, and this shocks them. "Did it do that on purpose?" asked Leon.

"Learning Curve!" yelled Burt, he looks for his sniper rifle and he sees it, but then the Graboid surfaces and roars in front of Burt and he panics and backs away.

Peter then throws his sword to the man, "Burt, catch!" Burt sees the sword and he catches it and then he throws it into the Graboid. Peter then yells. "Rip and slaughter!"

The sword converts into chainsaw mode and tears the Graboid in half and it's dead.

They all slowly get up and look at the dead beast. They all go over and see the damage from everything. "Well, that was one way to kill it." Burt looks to Peter. "Thanks for the assist."

"No problem. I don't leave good hunters alone when they face dangers in my territory and Royal Woods is my home and territory." Peter and Burt shake hands.

Leon looks to the dead worm. "Jeez. This thing looks like some kind of prehistoric worm."

"Because it is" said Linka. "We should get back to the base and tell them about what happened. We also need to know if there are any more of these things around. We need to clear them out, all of them."

(Royal Woods Allied outpost.)

They all make it back to the base and have told Leon and Sergei about what they're up against.

"So, giant worms have come to take over our town, and our world?" asked Sergei.

"Not take over the world, they just eat and do what they want. They're Graboids, they're hunters and I guess they wanna be on the top of the god damn food chain" said Peter Sharp.

Burt Gummer looks to the holographic map of Royal Woods. "This is…. This is new to me, so have there been any signs of Graboids in the area? Besides the ones we killed at least."

Martin puts up the seismometer. "Alight, so there have been 8 seismic activities since the day before, which means these Graboids arrived here some time ago and only 6 came near the forest of Royal Woods, but the other two have been last detected here."

He puts on the screen of where the other two have been and they're all shocked, while Burt asks. "Have they made any other seismic disturbances recently?"

"They….. They stopped from last night" replied Martin.

Burt looks to the map. "Then it only means one thing, we got Shriekers." They all look to the chicken farm and factory at the location where the two Graboids were last detected. "And when Shriekers eat, they eat and eat and then they multiply, we got possibly more than a thousand of these things."

Peter then realizes. "And if there are Shriekers who eat too much and grow big enough, then we're gonna have Ass Blasters and a whole lot of them."

This was not good, and this chicken farm and factory neighbors Beaverton and Hazeltucky as well. "We need a plan and a big one if we're gonna wipe these things out!" said Lincoln.

They all look towards Burt Gummer. "So Burt, what's the plan?" asked Dana.

Burt smirks. "Glad you asked." He then looks to the map and looks for something, and he sees a large open space in the farm lands that is between the forest of Royal Woods and the Farm lands where the Shriekers are. "This is gonna be our front line."

"Now, we're gonna need some heavy duty and fast firing firepower to take these suckers out, and we'll need some of you to stay here and keep surveying the map to tell us if there are any more out there, and also keep an eye out for Ass blasters."

They see that none of the Shriekers on the map have moved and are still there. "Bombing the place wouldn't be good either, some of them might make a run for it by the time they see the air force, or some might survive by hiding someplace. They're always on the learnin curve."

Peter understands the plan. "So we lead them out of there, use bait."

"Where the hell are we gonna find bait to lure them out? We'd need a massive heat source to get them to come to us, where are we gonna find that?" asked Boomer. They all look towards him. "What? What did I say?"

Burt recalls that the Ass Blaster went for them because of Boomer's very massive heat signature, since he is a walking nuclear bomb.

"Well, looks like we got the plan done, now all we need is the firepower and I think we got just what you need, Mr. Gummer" replied Jack Cyber. He then leads Burt to the armory to show him what they got.

Boomer looks at all of them and is still confused. "I don't get it, what the hell were you guys looking at me for?"
