Chapter 573: After the Mutation and showdown. - In collaboration with Marvelomac1010.

(Somewhere in New York City.)

Night once again, and this time Allied forces are patrolling the skies with stealth tech, but this is their last patrol for their work is done and they are not needed anymore.

Along with the stealth forces in the skies, there have been some Foot Ninja's patrolling the night and tracking down their mortal enemy that remains alive, the evil Foot Clan.

Gyro is on the roof top of the building and watching the city as it is calm and peaceful. "For now." He then walks away and looks to Martin and Becky who are looking to the distance of the whole city. "So, what do we got on the whereabouts of the Foot Clan that belonged to Shredder?"

Becky smirks. "Foot Clan? More like Shredder's Foot-Droids, or Foot-Bots."

Martin then explains. "As of now, still nothing. We're gonna be done with the patrols and all our forces will be sent back to the Royal Fortress. Foot Clan leader, Karai said that she'll handle in hunting down the rogue Foot Clan, but we offered her some new warriors to help with the hunt."

"We're giving them some new blades weapons and some of the Empire of the Rising Sun's finest Shinobi warriors, through them the rogue Foot Clan will be stopped, and all those bots and Shredder's mutant minions will be no more."

Gyro smiles. "Good, that will be enough. Besides, I am ready to leave this world and head back, but I can't because I need to speak with the Queen of the Utrom's and ask if they need any reinforcements for the hunt for wherever that damned Kraang prime is."

"We could lend the Utrom's some protoss technology, and perhaps we can alert our allies of this and Artanis could aid them" replied Martin.

Gyro thinks about this. "As good of a plan that may be, I don't know if it's wise and certainly no to letting Hollow go to Dimension X. He'll have another reason to take over that world. Best let him handle those Triceratons, I wonder what he's doing right now."

"We can know about that one soon." Becky then checks the communicator. "We got incoming. Karai and the Mighty Mutanimals have tracked down Bebop and Rocksteady and they can handle them, but some of the Foot ninja's have found Rahzar and some Foot-Bots."

"Those ninja's need help, let's move." Martin turns on his Tech Sector Suit and takes off alongside Becky.

Gyro sighs. "Well, let's rock." He morphs into his raven form and flies off. But he has this strange feeling that something dark will happen in this world, something Japanese demonic dark.

Then he recalls when the others saw Lincoln in his mutated hellhound form. 'I'm surprised they all haven't bothered to ask me on why he turned into a hellhound. They aren't ready to know of the other dimension, but how will Lincoln explain it towards Luna and the rest of the family?'

But as Gyro continues to fly, he spots something in the sky. "Is that the leviathan?!"

Martin also looks up and scans it. "Yeah, that is definitely the Zerg Swarm Leviathan, but what the heck is it…… Oh shit!" He then sees a Hercules transport making its way to the Zerg ship. "Oh god, why?!"

(Zerg Leviathan.)

The Hercules transport has made it into the Zerg Leviathan and Neil walks out of it and looks around.

Then Ishza appears to him. "Swarm Lord, welcome back to the Leviathan, and it appears you have brought something. What is it?"

"Something for Abathur to use." Neil then commands two Zerglings to bring the barrels into the Leviathan. "I want these barrels of Dimension-X Mutagen brought to the Evolution Pit, certainly Abathur will be pleased with this new essence for the swarm."

"Have you taken over a new world, my Swarm Lord?" asked Ishza.

"No, I haven't and this world will remain untouched by our Swarm, but what we took from the enemy will be of great use. Time to see if this mutation-like essence is enough to enhance our Zerg forces, ten folds."

Neil then follows his forces as they bring the barrels into Abathur's Evolution Pit and then he sees the Zerg creature, Abathur, the Evolution Master of the Zerg Swarm.

Abathur looks to the barrels coming into his evolution pit. " Strange new essence detected/ Genetic traits of new essence and evolutionary recreation has been identified." He then looks towards Neil. " Possibilities of enhancing swarm is possible through new essence."

"Exactly" replied Neil. He then takes one of the barrels and he opens it and they both look inside and see the glowing sludge. "This is a type of mutagen but from the world known as Dimension-X, this was smuggled here onto this earth to terraform the whole planet for the Kraang."

"Kraang lacks comparison of reconfiguring forces to match the might of the Swarm, but Kraang also may provide for the Swarm with new essence. Have you brought forth worthy specimen for experiments?"

Neil smirks. "Yes, I have one." He shows Abathur another barrel and he shows Abathur one of the captured Kraang. "Now, Gyro said that this thing isn't of any use to us and so I thought I could take it off of FutureTech's hands and we can figure out more of this new specimen."

The Kraang looks around and is freaking out from the surroundings. Abathur looks to it and is interested. "New Specimen found. Genetic traits seem similar to that of common Zerg support enhancers, will commence the experiment to analyze if this creature shall be of good use and enhance Infestors."

"Do it" replied Neil. "And once you're done experimenting on this little thing, then begin analyzing and testing the Mutagen into our Zerg forces and start with the Larvae. Perhaps we can increase their health and self-healing capabilities whenever our Hive cluster is under attack."

"Shall commence with experiment." Abathur then retreats back into his Evolution chamber and he commences with analyzing and dissecting the Kraang.

Neil leaves the Evolution Chamber and he looks to the Hercules Transport leaving and going back to the Royal Fortress.

Then he looks to the city and thinks of something. 'I hope Lincoln is doing okay, even if he is gonna be healed from what he became, I fear he might have remnants of what he became and it could be a new and very unstable enhancement. He already has the force and the blood of Luna, what else is gonna happen to him?'

(Sewer Lair.)

At this moment, the turtles are enjoying what break they have from what had happened the other day. They have had a hell of a fight from the other day and could use some time to rest.

Leonardo is the only one who left the sewer to help hunt down what's left of the Foot bots, and he's tag teaming with Randy and Morgan.

Casey and Mikey are both playing video games and eating pizza and Boomer is with them too. Tossing pizza on their faces and making up challenges to them.

"Alright, so balance on your foot, see who can beat who and I chuck pizza at you guys."

Mikey and Casey smirk. "Oh it is on!"

The dup balance on one foot and they play the video game Sunset Shimmer gave them, Need for Speed and all the while, Boomer throws pizza at them and they try and catch eat one and eat it.

Yup, just a couple of dudes having some very weird fun. This isn't abnormal at all, right?

Meanwhile, Master Splinter and the Shinobi are in his quarters and discussing some things, while they are drinking tea. "So, you still train the ninja's for the next threat to Norrisville?"

"Well, sort of. We had already dealt with that damned wretched evil Julien and saved the original one. As of now the Sorcerer is no more, and is pretty much freed from his separation and now there won't be any more stank'd up folks" replied the Shinobi.

"Which means there is peace in Norrisville" replied Master Splinter. "And yet you seem troubled."

The Shinobi sighs. "Yes, I am troubled. Sure, we have stopped the evil from that whitened vile counterpart of Julien and we did free the Sorcerer and he's no longer a threat and that also means Hannibal McFist isn't a threat anymore, but there is one more freak out there who lingers."

"The Sorceress. She still remains and her life force has been detected in the parallel dimension from the power of the Sorcerer power spheres and we have to do our part to be guardians of those power spheres so that nothing and no one can use them and become evil."

"But if the Sorceress lives, then she'll be trying to get her hands on what we are containing, and if she does get her hands on the Sorcerers power spheres, then a new Sorcerer will emerge."

Master Splinter thinks about this. "A very dangerous threat indeed and to the home of the Ninja's you train. At least you have decreased the threat from robots and monster-formed people."

The Shinobi then drinks his tea. "We have, and yet we must remain vigilant. So, how are you after well…. You know, with what happened with Oroku Saki?"

Master Splinter knows. "I have been less than pleased of what we have done, but it had to be finished. I just wish there was another way to have freed Osaki from his revenge upon us, but there was no other way and he has gone too far."

The Shinobi looks onto the rat. "We all have a burden to carry, and yours is now gone. You have defeated your enemy who was once your brother, you have been reunited with your long lost daughter and your boys have done a good job is helping keep this city safe. Be glad with what you have and look forward to what the future may offer."

"The past maybe what defines us now, but not what it should continue onwards. Let the past go and find peace from within your mind, soul and to those around you. Inner peace."

Master Splinter nods. "Thank you for those wise words. It is good to speak with a master who has experience from such conflicts."

The Shinobi chuckles. "Splinter, I have lived longer than you have. I am pretty much beyond the wise words of the past that you know and have fought more things than you have, but I have yet to experience losing someone dearest to me."

"And yet Randy and Morgan are like your family" replied Master Splinter.

The Shinobi thinks about this. "Yes, I guess they are."

The two of them continue with their tea, one last moment as masters speaking before The Shinobi goes back to his world. Chances they won't meet again.

(Donatello's Lab.)

Lincoln is sitting up on the bed, Donatello has finished his final test on the kid and April, Luna, Jordan and Sam watch on as he finishes. Linka is not there because she's helping track down the Foot-Bots and their new leader, Tiger Claw.

Donatello checks his clipboard. "Well, you seem to be okay now Lincoln. All the mutagen is no longer in your system and thanks to this new gear from FutureTech, there's not a single trace left. You're cured of the mutagen."

Lincoln nods. "Thanks Donnie, much appreciated." He then looks to his blaster, which was fixed up after he turned back to normal.

Luna then goes towards her son, and then she looks to Donatello and April. "Give us some privacy, please."

Donatello and April nod, and they walk out of the lab and go to check out what Mikey and Casey are doing, and then Donatello is hit by a pizza. "Hey, what the heck?!"

Lincoln sees his mom, Luna look towards him and she begins to shed some tears. Seeing this, Lincoln doesn't hesitate and he hugs her. Luna returns the hug and both of them shed some tears. After what happened the other day, it was the most horrific thing to have ever happened to them.

Because to Luna, it was like when he nearly died more than once, but to Lincoln it was painful and heartbreaking that he nearly killed Luna, that's the one thing he would never ever wanna do to her.

This also makes him recall what happened last year, when they went to Paris and met Ladybug and Cat Noir and Luna ended up being Akumatized and she nearly brought ruin and destruction upon the realms.

Jordan and Sam join in the hug and they too shed some tears. They were all traumatized and in mental pain after seeing Lincoln become something he was not, they didn't want him to go through that again.

Soon, they depart from the hug and Luna looks to Lincoln. "You ready to go home kiddo?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah." He gets off the bed and then he looks to Luna, Sam and Jordan. "Guys, when we get back and Linka is with us. I need to tell you guys something, something that Auntie Loona and I learned from the Guardian. Something that none of you know."

They didn't know what this was about, but Luna could tell that this was serious.
