And now the time has come, to say goodbye to those who are making their mark away from the world of Ever After High, well from the school itself and see where the rest of their destiny will take them. This is not gonna be an easy task for those who have come to know and love them, but this is how fate and rewriting destiny has to come, so enjoy reading this guys.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 684: The Ever After Grad-Day.
(The World of Ever After.)
Male Narrator. "Hello and welcome to the World of Ever After High, the High School for Fairytale Legends of the past."
Female Narrator. "And it seems like this day is something to look forward to, as the birds are singing and the cheers are made from the large crowd of different fairytale folks."
Paige Brooke. "Oh man, sure wish I could be part of this. But, I am not in my senior years, and so I gotta wait for when that does happen. This is so Hexcellent! They all look so wicked awesome!"
"Why thank you Paige" said Maddie as she speaks with the narrators. "I would wish for someone as yourself to be part of this, but you'll get you're happily ever after graduation soon."
Raven looks towards Maddie and chuckles. 'Still says she can speak with the narrators, and from what Neil once said, she might ne right.'
We now see the many students of Ever After High, and all of them wearing elegant and very sharp graduation clothing, it looks like the same kind of clothing seen on earth, but with some styles and some armour to match the fairytale family they are a part of.
Neil hands them the scrolls, and those scrolls are written with the confirmation that they are now ready for the next step, and that step is the fairytale they want to follow, or the story they wish to rewrite.
He then hands the last one towards his own daughter, Duchess Swan. "I'm proud of you, my little Swan Princess. Though you have done some wrong, you have changed and proven to be quite the new princess in charm for those who can see, that you are not who you are."
"We all have our own paths to take, and you have found yours, and have become a better princess than what ever after the story you have been given." He then shares a small hug with her, and she does the same.
"Thanks, dad." They then depart from the hug and Neil then makes his announcement. Neil looks upon those around the crowd, and he spots Giles Grimm, and also his brother Milton Grimm, and he doesn't seem happy about this. But, he has to accept it, because Sally Whitemane is there.
"Everyone we have been through a whole lot of stuff, and to me, it's been almost more than a dang year o awesome and Hexcellent fairytale madness for me to be part of this land known as Ever After, and I am honored to have been around, and to first be part of it from a bad situation."
They all recall that one, and Crystal Winters and her parents wave nervously, the whole Epic Winter incident which is when Neil showed up, and nearly got killed.
Neil smirks. "But we can all forgive and forget about the past and look forward to what has transpired from the past and look onward to the future. I know things have been hard, but they have also shown a whole lot of good and I am grateful at these students."
"The Students who have done so much in change, and so much to become better students who are going to pick out their own path, but it would also mean if they are planning to find their own path, then so should I."
This makes them all confused, and same with the rest of the Royal Defenders. "Because, I believe some new management and leadership is needed, towards someone who has proven to be quite the leader when I am not around, and so I hereby resign my role as the headmaster of Ever After High."
"So, I hereby let the role of the headmaster of Ever After High, onto the most trusted staff member, Dean Giles Grimm!"
Giles is surprised and so are the others and Milton faints hearing this. Neil nods. "You have earned this." Neil then steps away from the pedestal and let's Giles take his place.
"Well, I haven't thought this day would come and truth be told I didn't think something like this would even come to be, but I will do what I can to be the head master this school needs and that every student is given the choice to choose their own destiny."
"I will not let them go through dark and troubled times that make them feel as if they can't do what they can, but let them carve out the future and happily ever ending they want, to let them rewrite they're own destiny and to show them that the end is truly just the beginning!"
They all cheer from this and then Giles looks to Neil, the Spellman nods and so Giles makes the announcement. "And now, I present to you this school year's graduates of Ever After High!"
They all cheer at this moment, to know that these students are making their mark for a new beginning and that someone is taking the place of the old guard.
With the Linck Twins and their Netherdrakes, and the rest of the Ever After Dragons flying around and sending fire balls into the sky that blow up like fireworks and even the fire-type Pokémon help make this whole event spectacular, or should I say, spell-tacular.
Neil claps at this. 'Well done, Giles. I would've done it better myself, but you earned this. You truly did.'
(Later.)
With the graduation ceremony done, now we see all of the students taking some time to talk to each other, about what they plan to do. We even see Briar, Ashlynn, Hunter and Lizzie taking some selfies with each other, and enjoying what fun they had back when they were students.
They all have plans on what to do, when the summer vacation is over. Basically they will take up the mantle of being the ones to continue with the fairytale of their family bloodlines, but with a twist in their future.
Maddeline Hatter, along with Lizzie Hearts, and the other Wonderlandian students are going to Wonderland so they can spend they're times with their family, and the other folks of Wonderland.
Prof. Big Bad Wolf is going to be glad that his daughters are graduated and ready to come home and do what they can to seek out what their paths have for them.
Crystal Winter, the former student from years ago also goes over to her best friends Forever After, Briar Beauty and Ashlynn Ella, and she embraces her friends and is proud of them for graduating from High School.
Apple White knows her mother is coming back, but the role of being Queen of Ever After is something not to be regained easily, and so Snow White will need to try and redeem herself from her mistakes of the Dragon Games, which also led to the epic Winter Incident.
Raven Queen is going to stay with her father, and she won't be alone. Raven then goes towards her mother. "Hey mom, ready to see dad later?"
Evil Queen is nervous. "Well, it has been a long, long time since I have seen your father, the Good King and I don't even know if he's still… Well, into me."
Raven chuckles. "Come on mom, it won't hurt to go and see." She holds her mom's hand and she guides her to her dragon, Nevermore, and this gives her some confidence to go and meet with her former king.
Neil watches this happen and then he sees Giles go towards him. "Thank you, though I don't know why you gave me this role. What are you planning to do next?"
Neil chuckles. "Giles, I decided that it was time to let myself go from this and let someone like yourself be a better headmaster than your brother ever did. You seem to understand that we can all change who we are and don't have to follow the simple rules of the legacy we have to continue."
"You were meant for this, and you show both charisma, and discipline and the students look up to you, as they look to me for the regulations and enforcements of the rules, but you're gonna need someone to help as an associate with the whole thing."
This makes Giles think and then he has an idea. "Oh, I do think I know just the person for the job." He then looks upon Prof. Eclipsa Butterfly who is with her husband and her infant daughter. "And I know she would make a great Dean and still be a good teacher."
Neil smiles. "Do what you must, old friend." Neil then leaves Giles be and goes towards his family and they're all cheering for the one daughter of this world who has graduated, along with the sister of the Spellman's, Duchess Swan Spellman and Sabrina Spellman.
Auntie Hilda and Zelda are proud of Sabrina, and she sees her brother. "Well, this is it. I became part of Ever After long ago, and now I'm going up the ranks, huh?"
Neil nods. "To secure your spot on the throne as the witch queen, I do recall and if you need help, then we will be there for when the time comes."
Then Leon asks. "So, when do you take off for the witch world?"
Sabrina thinks about this. "I need some time to think, but in the meantime, I think I should enjoy the rest of the summer vacation with you guys."
Sergei smiles, and so does Neil and Leon. "We're always happy to have you around sis." they then join together in a group hug, and soon the rest of the family joins in.
They depart from the hug. Then Gwen looks to Duchess and kisses her forehead. "We're so proud of you Duchess, the second of the Spellman's to graduate from a fairytale school, and yet you're still a swan."
Duchess smiles. "Yeah, that is true. But I should tell you, about what I plan to do…. I don't plan to go to college or anything, not yet."
They all remain silent. Then Luna asks. "Wait, what?"
Duchess nods. "Yeah, I wanna figure things out first, and to do so I need to know where my path would lead me, and I think the best option is to check out what I could do within Royal Woods and then perhaps the way will be clear and I might decide what I should do with my life."
This is something they did not see coming, but this does make the parents and the rest of the family smile. "Whatever path you take, we'll be there to support you through and through" said Neil. "This is something even I wanna see what happens next."
Gwen nods. "As they say, rewrite your destiny, because no one can tell you what you have to do to ensure your future is what it should be, it's not always engraved in stone, because we can always carve out our own path, and I guess you're planning to carve out yours."
This makes them all smile and embrace each other once more, and with Michelle Lewis recording all of this, a nice and beautiful moment for Duchess and the rest of the family to be happy that the day has come and the paths that she wishes to take has been set for her to choose.
The rest of the students of Ever After high notice this and smile. They're happy for her and so is Sparrow Hood, he knows he'll meet Duchess again one day, and perhaps she might have a new path to whatever Happily Ever After she wishes to seek.
Male Narrator. "Well, seems like everyone from the very beginning of this story are making their own marks, and have their sights set on a brand new future and one that is not going to be chosen by their family, but supported by them."
Female Narrator. "Indeed, from the beginning of the road from the Royal and Rebels, they have done so much and have ventured through so many trials and many obstacles and of course the hex-tacular adventures. But they're path to their fate is just getting started."
Paige Brooke. "The same for Duchess Swann and Sabrina Spellman, they both have their own pathways to the future and that future could be something they seek, or something that is destiny, as they always say here in Ever After High…. The End, is only just the Beginning."
