Spells and Louds

To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

697. Chapter 697

So, time for someone new to come into Royal Woods, and that someone is a friend of their friend who is rich and is also recognized from the other story "A Sparking Relationship" so this is gonna be interesting for some future chapters and a big thanks to my buddy "Marvelomac1010" for the aid in this chapter, thanks dude. Spells and Louds. Chapter 697: Warwick in town.

(Pertland Mansion.)

Hope Pertland, the daughter and only child to the Pertland family. The girl opens her eyes and she looks to her clock and then she recalls. "Right, summer vacation." She then sees her Pokémon companion, Falinks are awake and happy to see her.

Hope smiles and she hugs all of them. "Good morning, guys. Good to see you all awake." She then gives each of them a kiss on the head, well helmet.

Then her phone goes off. "Hello?"

Jordan. "Hey, Hope. Got any plans today? Because we're planning to spend some fun time at the park, and also talk about what we're gonna be wearing for the big Spellman party tomorrow too."

Hope smiles. "Now that sounds like an awesome idea. Can't wait to be there, and I also have a plan on what to wear to the whole thing, but chances I won't tell you guys what I am gonna be wearing."

Jordan. "Cool. See you at Ketcham Park later. Also, do not take Elm Street. The road is undergoing repairs after a gas leak from underground, and that explains why everyone heard a loud boom last night."

"Thanks for the info. See you there, Jordan." Hope then puts her phone away, and then she looks to the picture of herself and the friends she made in town as it sits by the desk near her bed and she smiles. 'I always feel calm and at peace when seeing that.'

Then she sees the picture of herself and Gretchen. She then grabs the picture and Falinks goes closer and they can feel her loneliness. 'I really wish Gretchen was here. She would've loved being in this town and making new friends with me. A dang shame we don't make much friends back home, and just have each other.'

She then puts the picture back and then she hugs Falinks. "Thanks for the comfort guys, but I should get ready for today." She gets out of bed and she grabs her towel and goes into the bathroom. She has a heck of a day to spend with her friends.

(Ketcham Park.)

Hope is now enjoying a nice and calm day at the Park, and she has already heard the talk about the others and what they plan to wear for the big Spellman summer party tomorrow, and she smirks at what they'll be dressed as.

Hope then looks around and she sees some Pokémon walking side by side with their friends, as if they have been friends for a long time, and the very sight of it makes her feel less relaxed. Heck, she even sees the rest of her friends hanging out in pairs, with their best friends.

Then Linka and Jordan go towards, Hope. "Hey, are you feeling alright?" asked Linka.

Hope sighs. "To be honest girls, no, not really." she then hugs her knees to her chest and just looks upset, and so her Falinks goes over and tries to cheer her up and this makes her smile. "Thanks guys, but I don't think that'll work."

Linka and Jordan sit next to her. "What's wrong, Hope?" asked Jordan.

Hope then tells them. "Alright, well it has been a wild and awesome ride being in Royal Woods and seeing how everything is all so awesome and new, and wicked intense around here, sometimes. But, it doesn't feel right or okay for me to spend it all…. Without my best friend."

The two girls now see what this is about, but they knew from the start of when she came. "Well, everything's gonna be okay. I mean, sure you don't have your best friend here. But she has her own thing and she must be having an awesome summer with what she does" said Linka.

"Be grateful that you have friends here who have been helping you feel welcome in town" said Jordan. "We know it's been hard without the bestie you have been with since kindergarten. We understand the feeling of not having someone be there for you, to see and enjoy everything."

(She means Penny Polendina.)

"But we're here for you, and sure to heck we're not gonna let you feel all down in the dumps because of this loneliness" said Linka. "We got your back and we're all friends here."

Hope wipes away her tears and smiles. "Thanks girls, that means a lot to me. I just hope that I can be able to see Gretchen one day, and then we can catch up and talk about a lot of stuff that we missed out from each other."

The three girls then continue to talk about what else they can do in the summer, and then Jordan looks to Lincoln and she nods. The boy knows what that means, and so he grabs his phone and he makes a call. "So, are they inbound?"

Martin. "As requested, and we did what we could. They are inbound to Royal Woods. This plan of yours is a bit like something that is not in my category, but to establish a new FutureTech I.T Building from the old I.T Building from town, now that sounds like something I would do."

"Keep me posted on where they are now, then we'll make our move" said Lincoln. He then puts his phone away and then he goes back to playing Frisbee toss with Absol, Timmy and Yanma.

(Back to Rose Street.)

The limo of Hope Pertland arrives, and it parks by the driveway of the place, and following behind is Lincoln on the Vulture Bike with Linka and their Pokémon, and Jordan on her Indoraptor. But then Hope notices something. "What the heck?"

She sees that the other mansion has some folks moving in, and she sees the limo next to the moving truck and the many… Wait a minute. 'I… I know those butlers! I know them! No, it can't be!'

She then sees the girl at her age come out of the limo, and it's none other than her best friend from Tuscola. "Gretchen?!"

The girl then looks to Hope and she adjusts her glasses and smiles. "Hope!" The two girls race to each other and share in the warm hug and shed some tears.

The others come out of the limo and are touched by this. "Gretchen, how the heck? Wait, what the heck you are doing here?!"

Gretchen then departs from the hug. "My dad got a new job here in town, and it's at the new FutureTech I.T. Building, and he's gonna be the manager of the place, so now I'm moved into Royal Woods with you!"

Hope is surprised and she looks to the others and she sees Lincoln, Linka and Jordan smile and wave to them. This makes Hope smile and she hugs Gretchen. "I'm just so glad you're here, Gretch! Now we can be best friends, and close neighbors too!"

"Wouldn't have it any other way!" said Gretchen with joy.

The others continue to watch this and are touched and then the girls record this moment of two best friends reunited. Then Sadie looks to the trio. "Did you guys have anything to do with this?"

Lincoln, Linka and Jordan chuckle. "Maybe." They all go over and they begin to introduce themselves to their new friend, Gretchen Warwick.

(Karazhan.)

We now go to the home of the guardian, and right now he's not alone. With him of course, is Pyrrha, Bill Cipher and Hollow, and Hollow brought with him his Dino-Card ally, the Gorgosaurus named Gorgon and the beats is confused as to why he was released from the card.

"So, you sorted out the way for us to track down the world from where Gorgon here came from?" asked Hollow as he pets the head of the Gorgosaurus.

Gyro nods. "All I need… well, all we need is the dinosaur itself so we may be able to form the search circle and then find the dinosaur's world, and then we can pinpoint and have the coordinates locked for FutureTech."

Hollow understands and he looks to his dinosaur friend. "Understood, and thankfully Gorgon here can last out of the card longer, and all thanks to Prof. Polendina and his modifications to the Dino-holder. So, shall we begin?"

They look to Bill Cipher who uses his magic to draw the circle of power. "Alright, the whole thing is made and through the instructions that you demanded from the book, Gyro."

"Excellent, now we shall commence" said Gyro. He then motions the Gorgosaurus to follow.

The dinosaur looks to Hollow and the Sith Lord nods, and so the Gorgosaurus follows the guardian. Hollow then looks around. "Hey, where the heck is Mina Loveberry? I haven't seen her since I arrived here."

"Hmm? Oh, right. She's dead." Bill Cipher then makes the circle glow as the dinosaur stands in the middle of it.

Hollow turns off his mask and is confused. "What?! What do you mean she's dead?! When?!"

Pyrrha answers that one. "Well, the whole thing happened when Hogger and his Gnoll clan tried to break into the tower, and so we fought them off and with the help of the magical guards of the tower, they were sent running off. But not without massacring someone."

Gyro then readies the book. "And that someone is Mina Loveberry. She wanted to help in taking down the threat to the tower, and though she fought with everything she got, she was overpowered and torn to shreds by Hogger himself. At this moment, she's just parts that were taken away when the Gnolls fled."

Hollow looks towards Bill Cipher. "And you're alright with this shit?"

Bill Cipher ignores him. "She asked for it. She wanted to help and she did and now she's gone and I care less about her now. She wasn't even a good help around here. Her cleaning skills are terrible."

The trio then meditate around the dinosaur in the middle of the circle, and they speak the incantation and an ethereal replica of the dinosaur is made and floats above the Gorgosaurus and this confuses the dinosaur, and so it steps away and the ethereal copy floats down and does nothing.

Hollow then understands what they're doing. 'So, make a copy of the dinosaur with the same essence and power, and then track it down through this method. Smart indeed.'

He then sends the dinosaur back into the card. "Well, you all seem busy with this." They remain silent and focus on tracking the other world, which is now awkward for Hollow. "Well, I guess I'll be going then. See you guys tomorrow." He then leaves Karazhan.

But deep down, Hollow was having some personal thoughts. 'If we do find this world where the dinosaurs are trapped within cards, how on earth do we save them from such a prison? Also, tomorrow Spellman is having a party! Sweet!'
