This story is a swanqueen story. This story is a month after the curse broke. Emma and Regina are fin a relationship, and ruby is their best friend. Emma has D.I.D because of all the sexual, physical, emotional and mental abuse she suffered in foster care before she was 7 years old, she also self-harms and will fall back into her eating disorder at one point. Snow wants her daughter to be her princess and the savior, David wants her to be just the way she is, he doesn't care as long as she is happy. It has been a month since the curse has broken. Even though Emma thinks Snow and David are her parent's she just feels like Snow doesn't want to get to know her. Even as snow's friend before the curse she thought that Emma was acting weird

It has been a month since the curse was broken. True love's kiss broken the curse like it was supposed to, but the kiss was between Emma and Regina. Regina and Emma had been friend even before the curse was broken. Granny would always look out for Emma and Ruby was like a sister to her. Granny, ruby and Regina all had their memories still. Regina really liked Granny and Ruby and new even though they were on snows side they wouldn't be mad at her and it was true.
When Emma came to town brought by Henry at first Regina thought she was coming to take Henry away, but Emma assured her she wasn't but after a couple days decided to stay because this felt like a place she was accepted. After a week of being there Regina and Ruby could sense something was different about Emma and how sometimes she would talk and act like a toddler, or teen, was non-verbal at times. After about another week they both realized it was D.I.D. The reason they know this is because they have both been taking psych classes online.
After about a month of this and watching Snow around Emma who she claims is her friend but then would tell her to stop acting weird. That her name was Emma not all these other names. Ruby and Regina decided to ask Emma about it. After about fifteen minutes Emma did admit she had D.I.D but she was just diagnosed at the age of 26. She told them she understood if they didn't want to be here friend because she was weird and psycho. They both just hugged her and said she wasn't any of that and they were still her friend.
Three months after Emma came to Storybrook her and Regina realized they need to stop dancing around their feelings and to go for it. So, they were at Regina's house having a movie date while Henry was hanging out with a friend. Towards the middle of the movie Emma leaned into Regina and they shared a kiss which turned out to be true loves kiss, and it broke the curse. Now Emma wasn't surprised because Ruby, Granny, and Regina told her and Henry everything a month after she came to town after finding out about her D.I.D.
With Emma's magic sometime when an alter comes out she will change appearances to look like that specific alter. It has confused some people who have seen it like Archie since he doesn't know much about D.I.D. But he got used to it and it didn't help all that much well the changing of appearances didn't.

It is a Saturday afternoon a month after everyone has remembered who they really are. Emma is at Grannies with her girlfriend, Henry and Ruby, while all three adults are on their lunch breaks. Snow doesn't know that Emma and Regina are together and that's why the curse broke, she just knows it broke with true loves kiss and thought Emma kissed henry when he was sick or something. While they are eating and talking Snow walks in with her 2 years old daughter April, who is charming's daughter since they were having an affair behind Katherine's back. Once April sees her big sister, she let's go of Snows hand and runs to her.
"Emmie, Emmie, Emmie" April say's as she climbs up on her lap.
"Hey monkey, are you getting something to eat?" Ask's Emma
"Uh huh gwilled eese" April says
"That sounds so yummy" Regina chimes in and starts tickling her
"ReRe nu tickle nu nice" April say's and she giggles and squirms in her sister's arms.
At this point this Snow realizes where April went and comes storming over and tries to take her daughter away from Emma and Regina's hands. April tries to pull away and with one hang clings to Emma while she cries, because while pulling on her Snow is hurting her.
"Snow what are you doing, don't pull her like that, she's not a doll. Look she's crying and wants me" says Emma and takes
April's' arm out of snow's grip and hugs her, while she buries her head in Emma's shoulder and cries.
"Emma Snow you do not talk to your mother like that. She is my kid, and I will not tolerate her being around such a bad influence like Regina" she says as once again she tries to take April from her.
"First of all, just because you birthed me doesn't mean you are my mom, second my last name isn't and never will be snow. Third the stuff Regina did was in the past everyone has forgiven her except you. Maybe you should try" Emma replies as she hands her sister over to Regina and gets up to have this conversation away from her little sister.
When Snow realizes Emma is walking away, she follows her and grabs her arm and starts talking.
"Do not walk away from me, I am your mom and since I'm your mom your last name is too Snow. I do not like this attitude you have. You need to change it because that isn't how a princess acts and they defiantly don't wear ripped jeans, convers and T-shirts." Snow says
"Get this through your head I am not a princess, I will dress and act the way I always have. You gave up the right of being my mom when you through me away in a tree. I also know that David tried to stop you, but you wouldn't listen. At least he doesn't try to change me and loves me for me" Emma says getting frustrated.
"I had to do it to save us from the damn curse and I'm glad I did because it did save us. So, stop being an ungrateful little shit" Snow says very angerly as she raises her hand like she is going to hit Emma.
Once Emma heard those words and saw the hand, she wasn't in the dinner any more she was back in one of the worse foster homes she was in when she was five years old and that's when Lilly-Ann came out who is two years old, and their magic changed her size and appearance.
"Who chu? Where wuby, n Wina" Lilly-Ann asks as she looks around.
"Emma stop acting so damn crazy and pretending you are someone else, it was weird when we were friends and now it's creepy because you change appearances." Snow says shaking her head.
"Me nu Emma me Wiwwy-ann. Chu meanie me wants wuby or wina." She says as she starts crying.
That's when Regina and Ruby both realize what happened and both came running. Regina picks up Lilly-Ann and she rubs her back.
"Shhhh princess of mine your again I've got you." Regina says and then looks at snow when she scuffs
"You need to stop encouraging this type of behavior Regina so do you Ruby this is so ridicules she always does then when she doesn't like what's said or a hard situation. I am fed up with it." Snow says as she starts to walk away to get April.
"Snow how many times have Regina, Emma and I told you that she cannot help it, that this is a disorder she has. Also, where the heck do you think you're going? I hope it's not to get April because of the way you have been acting she is scared of you right now because you hurt her arm, she is going to be staying with us until David gets off work." Ruby tells her
"She has you all fooled. And you cannot do that she is my child" Snow says rudely and angerly
"Yes, she can, she is also a sheriff part time, and I am the mayor plus she asked to stay with us until he gets home, you can have her back when David gets off at 7PM" Regina says as she carries Lilly-Ann back to the table and Ruby follows

Once all three of them are back at the table Snow can hear her baby girls laugh and happiness as she sees and talks to "Lilly-Ann" who she knows is Emma being dramatic. Snow shakes her head huffs and leaves the dinner. Once She has left the five of them order their lunch. A grilled cheese sandwiches and a large vanilla milk shake for the little ones to share, A salad for Regina, Cheeseburger for Henry and ruby and an order of onion rings for them to share. They all happily talk while they are waiting for their food. Once it comes, they start eating and laugh at the two little girls who are happily eating the sandwich and the sake. Once everyone is done Regina calls work and told them she is taking the afternoon off, she also called David to tell him everything that went on and he was pissed at Snow and glad they had April.
About an hour after Lilly-Ann appeared Emma came back to the front and Regina, and she took the kids to the park. Regina sat down under a tree and just watch the two kids and her girlfriend play on the playground and run around. They stayed there for a couple of hours. Once they were all tired, they went back to Regina's to watch a movie while April napped. Pretty soon. It was dinner time, so Regina made dinner and after they all ate Charming showed up at the door to pick up April, He thanked them once again and they all said goodnight and kissed April's head. They had a tiring day so around 9 o'clock they all decided to go to bed. Regna and Emma tucked Henry in and said goodnight.
Once they were both in their room. Regina brought up what happened at the dinner. She and Emma talked about it for two hours. Emma was able to process somethings. She also promised she would facetime her best friend and therapist Lily tomorrow. They both said there goodnights and the fell asleep with Regina holding Emma tightly as they sleep.
