I know it has been so long since I've posted, and I want to start by saying how terribly sorry I am for the dealy. Now, on to why I'm posting this non-chapter here for you all. I am currently going through and rewriting chapters, adding details in some places and taking some things away in others. I plan to pour more into different characters and drop hints about different things much sooner than they originally were.
I promise to you, this story will not be abandoned and there will be a solid closure for you all when it is said and done. In addition, it has evolved from the simple murder mystery I had originally outline to something much, much larger. Meaning - this portion of the story will likely end up being only a few more chapters long, but will continue into a second and possibly a third story in a way to make sure I'm able to close all the separate mysteries that are currently floating around. I want to make sure they all get the full attention they deserve.
That being said, as I go through chapter by chapter, I will go through and replace what is currently posted. When I have updated a chapter I will place an author's note with the date of the most recent upload. I understand going back and rereading a story can be tedious, but I do hope you are able to take the chance and let me know what your thoughts are on the newest versions.
If you don't, then I completely understand as well. I want to thank you all so much for taking your time to read my very first story and I hope you have enjoyed it so far, and continue to enjoy it as much as I have when writing it.
